Isn’t Mueller a republican?
Yes, staunch Republican, a very much by the books boy scout. IIRC he has been confirmed by the Senate on 3 occasions and is widely respected by both parties. Fox News used to praise him until he became special prosecutor, now suddenly he's "very biased" and " crooked".

You casually dismiss hundreds of good people and their heroic hard work for your weird little shadow reality because you can't handle the actual truth that these corrupt politicians who are doing harm to our country, system, our way of life are getting caught and busted like they fucking should be.
You should be ashamed of yourself trying to pretend you are some great American patriot seeking justice when you're just complicit with the buttfucking these people are getting away with and trying to justify it with your trifling petty ass semantic bullshit.
Ok. Then explain the need to use 29 agents to surround the home of Stone to arrest him, with CNN rolling a camera?
Do you believe that Stone was a threat? Like he would come out, guns a blazing?
Do you believe that Stone was a flight risk?
Why don't you tell us all why 29 FBI agents, in front of cameras, were needed to arrest a 66 year old man with no history of violence?
Do you believe maybe 4 FBI agents were able to do the same job? Maybe 8? 10? 15? 20? Or do you believe we needed all 29 trained FBI agents to arrest him?
Stop being so god damn stupid every single post. I get it.. you're back to being the champ and you want to show why. I'll give you kudos.. you nailed it and reminded all those in line that you are not a man to trifle with.

Who cares how many agents were there. Some were there to arrest Stone, others were there to carry out a search warrant on his house to collect evidence. And yes they had guns. That's standard operating procedure for carrying out a warrant, especially someone with a documented history of having firearms in his house. President Trump's campaign has been directly implicated in the indictment against Roger Stone. According to Special Counsel Mueller's indictments after July 22nd 2016 a senior Trump Campaign official was directed to contact Roger Stone for more information about Wikileaks releasing additional damaging information regarding the Clinton Campaign. Roger Stone thereafter told the Trump Campaign about potential future releases. On July 27th candidate Trump looked directly at the camera and publicly asked Russia for their help in finding Hillary Clinton's 30,000 missing emails.[1] Special Counsel Mueller's indictment against 12 Russian Intelligence Officers found that on or around July 27 2016 Russian hackers known as Guccifer 2.0 hacked the Clinton campaign.
UNITED STATES OF AMERICA v. ROGER JASON STONE, JR.[2]
4. ROGER JASON STONE, JR. was a political consultant who worked for decades in U.S. politics and on U.S. political campaigns. STONE was an official on the U.S. presidential campaign of Donald J. Trump (“Trump Campaign”) until in or around August 2015, and maintained regular contact with and publicly supported the Trump Campaign through the 2016 election. 5.
5. During the summer of 2016, STONE spoke to senior Trump Campaign officials about Organization 1 and information it might have had that would be damaging to the Clinton Campaign. STONE was contacted by senior Trump Campaign officials to inquire about future releases by Organization 1.
11. By in or around June and July 2016, STONE informed senior Trump Campaign officials that he had information indicating Organization 1 had documents whose release would be damaging to the Clinton Campaign. The head of Organization 1 was located at all relevant times at the Ecuadorian Embassy in London, United Kingdom.
12. After the July 22, 2016 release of stolen DNC emails by Organization 1, a senior Trump Campaign official was directed to contact STONE about any additional releases and what other damaging information Organization 1 had regarding the Clinton Campaign. STONE thereafter told the Trump Campaign about potential future releases of damaging material by Organization 1.
17. On or about October 7, 2016, Organization 1 released the first set of emails stolen from the Clinton Campaign chairman. Shortly after Organization 1’s release, an associate of the high-ranking Trump Campaign official sent a text message to STONE that read “well done.” In subsequent conversations with senior Trump Campaign officials, STONE claimed credit for having correctly predicted the October 7, 2016 release.
DoJ Indictment of 12 Russian Intelligence Officers[3]
22. The Conspirators spearphished individuals affiliated with the Clinton Campaign throughout the summer of 2016. For example, on or about July 27, 2016, the Conspirators attempted after hours to spearphish for the first time email accounts at a domain hosted by a thirdparty provider and used by Clinton’s personal office. At or around the same time, they also targeted seventy-six email addresses at the domain for the Clinton Campaign.
Context: Former Trump Campaign adviser Roger Stone, Wikileaks, Guccifer 2.0, and Russian military intelligence (GRU)
During the 2016 Presidential campaign Roger Stone[4] made constant braggadocios statements about his ties to Guccifer 2.0, the DNC hacker, and Wikileaks. While Roger Stone has attempted to downplay his communication with Guccifer 2.0, he has admitted to have been in contact with the DNC hacking suspect.[5] On July 13, 2018 Special Counsel Mueller indicts 12 Russian Intelligence Officers that work for the GRU - Russia's military intelligence agency. This was a military operation conducted by the Russian state. The indictment details GRU officers using the moniker Guciffer 2.0 that disseminated the hacked material through Wikileaks.[6]
We also know that Special Counsel Mueller has been asking questions about whether or not President Trump knew of the hacked DNC emails before they were released. They've asked about the relationship between GOP operative Roger Stone and WikiLeaks founder Julian Assange, and why Trump took policy positions favorable to Russia.[7] WikiLeaks should be considered an extension of Russia's 2016 disinformation campaign,[8] we know that WikiLeaks shared material hacked by the GRU.[9]
Roger Stone has been a target of this investigation for quite some time, he has tried to get ahead of a potential indictment by claiming he is ready to be indicted and that the Russian collusion scandal is a hoax.[10] A report by the Wall Street Journal confirmed that Roger Stone sought damaging information on Hillary Clinton from Julian Assange during the campaign.[11]

Approval voting is a single-winner electoral system where each voter may select ("approve") any number of candidates. The winner is the most-approved candidate.
Basically eliminates the "lesser of two evils" system we have now and gives third party candidates a (slightly) better chance.

A lot of states have jungle primaries, such as mine. I think it would be great. Maine actually used Ranked Choice last election for both primaries.
It actually makes it better for all concerned, because it is harder to split a vote. So you could have Hillary, Bernie, and Trump running at the same time, and Hillary wouldn't lose votes to Bernie and vice versa.

It is just about February and Republicans still haven't assigned members to the House Intelligence Committe, despite having done so for just about every other committee? Is it just a coincidence or are they trying to obstruct the SCO investifation? Mueller can't get the transcripts of certain individuals until those committee members are seated or until Pelosi makes a rule change and assigns Republicans herself.

Thousands of Mueller investigation documents leaked online by... Russia.
https://www.theguardian.com/us-news/2019/jan/30/mueller-evidence-leaked-online-russians?CMP=fb_gu&fbclid=IwAR2DoDdhtWmkRV8ZNDPZ8nClPEnzXi2ZbVcDcoHjQ ypxsyUVwX4AanUAKZY
Evidence gathered by Robert Mueller, the special counsel, was obtained by Russians and leaked online in an attempt to discredit his inquiry into Moscow’s interference in US politics, prosecutors said on Wednesday.
Mueller investigation is almost finished, says acting attorney general
Read more
A court filing by Mueller’s office said more than 1,000 files that it shared confidentially with attorneys for indicted Russian hackers later appeared to have been uploaded to a filesharing site and promoted by a Twitter account.
“We’ve got access to the Special Counsel Mueller’s probe database as we hacked Russian server with info from the Russian troll case,” a tweet from the account said. “You can view all the files Mueller had about the IRA and Russian collusion. Enjoy the reading!”
The tweet was posted in October last year by the account @HackingRedstone, according to the filing. A reporter was also offered leaked material via a direct message the same day. The account has since been removed from Twitter.
Mueller’s court filing on Wednesday said the names and structure of folders containing the leaked files matched those used by Mueller’s office when it shared the data, and that these had not been made public.
The prosecutors said the filesharing site had confirmed to the FBI that the account which posted the material was registered from an IP address – an identifier for devices connected to the internet – in Russia.
FBI investigators had found no evidence that government servers holding the data had been hacked, according to Mueller’s team, pointing instead to a leak on the Russian side.
Mueller disclosed the leak in a filing as part of his prosecution of Concord Management and Consulting, a Russian company that allegedly funded hacking operations by Russia’s notorious Internet Research Agency (IRA).
The filing argued that attorneys for Concord should not be given access to “sensitive” evidence gathered by Mueller’s team for the case.
It said: “The person who created the webpage used their knowledge of the non-sensitive discovery to make it appear as though the irrelevant files contained on the webpage were the sum total evidence of ‘IRA and Russian collusion’ gathered by law enforcement in this matter in an apparent effort to discredit the investigation.”

The House Intelligence Committee’s Democratic leadership has scheduled a vote to send potentially explosive transcripts to special counsel Robert Mueller’s desk.
The committee will vote this Wednesday on turning over sensitive Russia probe transcripts to Mueller, in a move that carries serious implications for anyone who can be shown to have lied.
The handover could put President Trump’s eldest son, Don Jr., in the hot seat. Democrats have signaled suspicions that Don Jr. may have been untruthful. Rep. Jackie Speier (D-Calif.) has said she thinks Don Jr. lied to the committee “on at least two occasions.”
Mueller has already slapped criminal charges on two people for making false statements to the committee in the course of it’s Russia investigation: President Trump’s longtime attorney and fixer, Michael Cohen, and former Trump campaign advisor, Roger Stone.

Eh. Not really. The inaugural committee being ordered by a judge to turn over records would be an update. That happened today.
The subpoena marked an escalation of the investigation, which the prosecutors opened late last year amid a flurry of scrutiny of the inaugural committee. The United States attorney’s office in Brooklyn is separately investigating whether foreigners illegally funneled donations to Mr. Trump’s inaugural committee using so-called straw donors to disguise their donations. Federal law prohibits foreign contributions to inaugural committees.

BuzzFeed News is today publishing a cache of internal Trump Organization documents (https://www.documentcloud.org/documents/5719169-Trump-Moscow.html) that lay bare the secret negotiations that continued long after Cohen claimed the deal had been abandoned. The documents, many of which have been exclusively obtained by BuzzFeed News, reveal that — despite Trump’s claim that the development was never more than a passing notion — the effort to get the tower built was long-running, detail-oriented and directly entwined with the ups and downs of his campaign.
As Trump went from rally to rally, vociferously denying any dealings in Russia, his representatives, Michael Cohen and his associate Felix Sater, worked with Trump Organization lawyers and even Ivanka Trump to push forward negotiations to build a 100-story edifice just miles from the Kremlin. The fixers believed they needed Putin’s support to pull off the lucrative deal, and they planned to use Trump’s public praise for him to help secure it. At the same time, they plotted to persuade Putin to openly declare his support for Trump’s candidacy. “If he says it we own this election,” Sater wrote to Cohen.

I have no problem with accepting Mueller's report if it turns out Trump wasn't involved. He is highly respected so if that's his determination then I'm good with it. I already said as much back in 2017 in the Comey thread I made. I think a lot of the time 3rd parties do as bad as they do in most places because no one knows who the fuck they are, this wouldn't be the issue here.
Sanders... I don't think he has a snowballs chance in hell to get the Dem nom. If he wants to actually make it to the election, he has to go I.
I think the Dem establishment hate Bernie, but if polling (yeah, I know, post 2016 polling, blahblah, they'll still rely on it) points at him being the strongest contender vs Trump AND he's kicking Dem ass in the primaries they may swallow the bitter pill and go with him just for the sake of best 2020 chance. The HRC machine absolutely screwed him for 2016, and a lot of those people are now backing Harris and Gillibrand hard, but I'm not sure they'll do Bernie the same way again. We'll see, I guess.

I can't see the Superdelegates supporting Sanders because he just straight up left the Democrat party right after the election, which he only joined to get their nom.
As I once said, if I were a Superdelegate, he wouldn't have my vote. If he'd stayed in the party after the election, I'd have considered it.

And I think that pisses them off but this time around it is fully win by whatever means time and they'll go with him if they think it's their best shot at beating Trump. I don't picture them going, "Well, Gillibrand is HRC Lite and she isn't up on Trump in a single General Election poll, but fuck that Bernie guy, let's go with Gillibrand" if that's the choice.

I think it really all depends on RBG. She dies or resigns and her seat is filled prior to the election, nah. If she is still kicking then, oh yeah, they are going to put up whatever they can that they think is winning, even if it is a detriment to their party.

If memory serves...didnt Trump lie about his reasoning as to why it didn't happen? His claim was essentially - I never stayed overnight in Moscow there so it's impossible to happen. Turns out he did.
Again - it's more intriguing to look through all of this as more information comes out. I have no doubts that the answer to whether this happened is known by the investigators.
Mueller is certainly investigating aspects of the dossier. The mystery company fighting the documents subpoena for example, is supposedly tied to it. Given the available information I think it's the Qatari Investment Authority, which was involved in the brokerage of the Rosneft shares, which the dossier talks about.

Schultz is polling just fucking horribly. He spent all of last week lowkey having tomatos thrown at him in public. Everyone hates that dude. I don't get that candidacy at all. Running on "won't someone think of the billionaires!" fuck outta here, shit's dead in the womb.
Yea, that "person of wealth" comment won't play well... but he is the only Democrat running as a Democrat currently though. Every other candidate is a Democrat who's running as a Socialist. At least he acknowledges that the Socialist policies of Medicare for all, free tuition, student debt forgiveness, etc... come with a gigantic price tag that we can't afford.
Sanders is going to run but he'll do it as a Dem again.
So, he was an Independent, who changed to Democrat to run for President.. when that didn't work out, he went back to Independent.. and you believe he's going to do that bullshit all over again and people won't think he's a socialist fraud?
Good to know..

Democrats on the Senate Intelligence Committee are pushing back on a claim by the panel’s chair, Richard Burr (R-N.C.), that the committee’s two-year investigation has not found “anything that would suggest there was collusion between the Trump campaign and Russia.” And they dispute an NBC News report saying that Democrats agreed with Burr that they have yet to see clear evidence of a conspiracy between President Donald Trump and Moscow.
“That’s not true,” Sen. Angus King, a Maine independent who caucuses with Democrats, told Mother Jones. “I think it’s misleading. The intelligence committee hasn’t discussed the matter, let alone released a committee report.”

That must be why you constantly whine about it and for months couldn't stop posting screenshots from the "who got exposed" poll that means literally shit that you thought was super important.

So Roger Stone's lawyers apparently have evidence to suggest someone from Robert Mueller's office did indeed leak the indictment to CNN.
5 minutes after Stone was arrested CNN had already contacted Stone's lawyers to tell him of the arrest. A few minutes after that the same person from CNN sent Stone's lawyers a draft indictment, only problem is at that time the indictment had still been officially sealed. Now how did CNN obtain a draft of that indictment? HMMMMMMMMM! One wonders.
But I'm sure Androidpk will be along shortly to say CNN are just such good journalists that surely they simply knew what the indictment would be so they wrote it up themselves and happened to be spot on.
I think it's long past time we go ahead and end this "investigation."

Are you ready to discuss how The Washington Post is simultaneously fake news and 100% accurate, according to your own posts? These were made on the same day, BTW.

You stated that you believed that Trump is no more racist than any American after being confronted with a specific list of occurrences of Trump's racism - so one can only infer that you believe that his actions aren't racist, or you believe that every American is racist. Both of these views can be construed in such a way that paints you - an American citizen defending a racist President - as racist.

Manafort had another hearing today and the judge determined that he did lie to Mueller, especially about his interactions with Russian spy Kilimnik. This means his plea agreement deal is null and void and he's going to face the full sentence. Dude is gonna die in prison.

I see Androidpk still doesn't know how the law works.
Unless Trump granted him a full and complete pardon of all federal crimes (which is highly unlikely) then Manafort could still claim his testimony could put him at risk for other federal prosecution.
Also note a presidential pardon only covers federal crimes, if Manafort's testimony would put him in danger of state prosecution he could indeed refuse to testify.
Go back to raging over everything, Androidpk. You embarrassing yourself with your utter lack of knowledge about anything you discuss isn't really funny. It's just sad.

Except that is not how it works. Accepting a pardon means accepting guilt. Once you accept a pardon you can't use the 5th amendment to refuse to testify about the crimes you committed. The only thing he'd be able to do in this case is just flat out refuse, which would put him in contempt of court, which would put him back in jail.

A presidential pardon only protects you from the specific crime the pardon covered. Trump could pardon him for any and all federal crimes, but again that's unlikely. Most likely the pardon (if he receives one) would just cover the crimes for which he is in jail for.
And again a presidential pardon ONLY protects you from federal prosecution, so even if Trump issued him a complete pardon from all federal crimes Manafort could still refuse to testify for fear of being charged in a state court should a state decide to go after him.
Again go back to doing shit we can laugh at, because watching you fail like this is just pitiful.

Again, that's not how a pardon works. Mueller could force Manafort to testify about his crimes and there's nothing Manafort could do except comply or refuse and get sent back to prison. Keep saying stupid shit so we can continue laughing at you. Watching you fail like this is fucking hilarious.

Also accepting a pardon doesn't mean accepting guilt, just what kind of dumb ass are you? You get this from all of the political pundits who refer to the Burdick vs US supreme court case or something?
There is NOTHING in the law that suggests receiving a pardon means accepting guilt, nothing about the pardon's origins suggests receiving a pardon means one is accepting guilt.
The rational in Burdick vs US was making the argument for allowing one to turn down a pardon, it did not state that legally or otherwise accepting a pardon makes one guilty, it was the supreme court explaining their decision to allow one to turn down a pardon.
