It's almost like they are staying consistent and want to wait until after there are some hearings.
Except people were crying "false allegations" long before any hearings.

Certain right wingers were all up in arms when they thought people were trying to falsely accuse Kavanaugh.. yet they're strangely silent when this prominent Republican is being falsely accused. Why am I not surprised.
Hasn't Mueller sent it to the FBI to be investigated? This is how things are done in this country.
If the investigation comes back and can provide evidence of wrong doing, then the perpetrator should be charged, have a trial and be found innocent of guilty.
You were all about Kavanaugh being guilty.. even though there was no evidence to support it. Now you are all about these women coming forward with these stories about being paid to say that Mueller was sexually harassing them.
Let's wait until SOME evidence has been heard before taking sides. I realize that no matter what evidence is found, you will still be pro-Mueller.. but try to look less of a pathetic liberal and wait for the investigation to actually begin.

Because the news was already out on it. There was no collaboration, no evidence, no specifics. This was known well before the hearings.
And this was known well before the hearings.. and you were still in the "OMG KAVANAUGH DID IT!" camp from Day 1.

Sheer speculation. Or is it? Why did Rudy Giuliani suddenly disappear from the teevee?
These months before the midterm elections are tough ones for all of us Mueller-watchers. As we expected, he has gone quiet in deference to longstanding Justice Department policy that prosecutors should not take actions that might affect pending elections. Whatever he is doing, he is doing quietly and even further from the public eye than usual.
But thanks to some careful reporting by Politico, which I have analyzed from my perspective as a former prosecutor, we might have stumbled upon How Robert Mueller Is Spending His Midterms: secretly litigating against President Donald Trump for the right to throw him in the grand jury.

Still here? Then hold onto your hats! You're not going to believe it. The plan is for Trump to end the Russia investigation and spike his approval rating in one masterful political move. I will lay it out in five simple steps.
Step 1. Trump believes Democrats will take the House in November. The plan will only work if that happens. Step 1 is Democrats win the House. An added bonus of having Democrats in the majority in the House is that Trump will finally have an enemy, hopefully Nancy Pelosi. He's flailing without an enemy.
Step 2. After Democrats win the House, Trump will fire Sessions and Mueller and anybody else in the Justice Department who refuses to end the investigation.
Step 3. Unwittingly playing their role in Trump's plan, Democrats in the House will impeach Trump. It just takes a majority vote.
Step 4. In the Senate, where it takes a two thirds vote to remove an impeached President, there will not be enough votes to remove Trump from office. There might not even be a majority vote to remove him from office. Trump's Senate trial will get the highest ratings ever.
Step 5. Just like happened to President Clinton in 1999, Trump plans for the public to rally to his side in the Senate trial, greatly increasing his approval rating and setting the stage for 2020. Clinton's approval rating shot up to a remarkable 73%.
It will only work if Democrats win the House in November and if Trump can convince the public that the Russia investigation is unfair. Trump is pouring all of his power into making both things happen. If Republicans keep the House in 2018, then Trump might as well not even run for reelection in 2020.
There has never been a more cunning political scheme in history, unless you count the Russia thing, which will never be proven.
So says Clyde.
Step 1 completed. Exactly as planned, Trump's shifting the topic to caravans doomed House Republican incumbents in swing districts, giving Trump the House Democrat majority that is essential for success. It's too late to turn back now. Onward to step 2.

Step 2 proceeding...

The fact that he ridiculed people in California who are dealing with a natural disaster that has killed dozens of people and displaced thousands and then threatened to pull funding all because the state didn't vote for him alone makes him grossly unqualified.
And the fact that half of this country has no problem with that behavior shows how fundamentally broken we are. When a country gets to the point where they actively want significant parts of their fellow citizens to suffer and die, they've reached a dangerous place.

A U.S. judge denied a request from a Russian company controlled by an associate of Vladimir Putin to dismiss charges that it conspired to interfere with the 2016 election.
It’s a win for Special Counsel Robert Mueller, who charged the firm, Concord Management and Consulting LLC, and 13 Russian nationals with a conspiracy that involved Russians fraudulently posing as Americans in 2016 and flooding social media with messages promoting Donald Trump or denigrating his opponent, Hillary Clinton.
U.S. District Judge Dabney Friedrich, who was appointed to the federal bench by Trump last year, rejected Concord’s claim that the allegations didn’t amount to a crime. The ruling means that the special counsel’s office can proceed with the prosecution.

I asked Ososis for a good OHE for a good friend of mine, figuring that he might have something since he's been specced OHB since I've known him. He gave me a 6x perfect falchion. I asked him if it was mine to keep, he said yes. I quit the game, come back, made it my first priority to get his shit back to him including the falchion. My friend added two enchantments and an alteration. He had contacted my friend asking for the item (because how would he know who the friend was if I turned around and re-gifted an item if he didn't agree to get this weapon SPECIFICALLY FOR MY FRIEND) to find out it had been worked on. Worked out a payment plan for the item. Friend paid 6m, I paid Ososis 4m, I repaid friend back 6m.

A) This is certainly on-topic.
B) Re-read what he fucking wrote, you absolute illiterate mongoloid. He got all of his shit back, he didn't pay for any of it, and I reimbursed him for a weapon that he loaned me on a permanent basis after he refused to take it back after it was worked on and modified. The weapon was a 6x perfect falchion that I ended up paying 10m for out of pocket in order to replace after he refused to take it back. Let it be known that I gave everything back to him that he loaned to me, and then some.
C) What the fuck is wrong with people doxxing folks on these boards? Can you honestly not discuss something without misinterpreting shitty rumors?

In races where the margin is a few hundred to a few thousand then illegals are a substantial threat along with citizens committing fraud. You said you wanted proof that it happens, you got it and predictably here you are discounting the facts because they don't agree with your narrative. The biggest fraud will be the eventual legalization of DACA peeps who have been too lazy or whatever to get legal status like time4retard's family member. Oh, looks who's here

You lose an election, you riot and cry, you act all magnanimous in your "equality" programs while economically enslaving people to the government, you are so afraid of different opinions that you have to have safe spaces and report sidewalk chalk to the police. And the goal of all of this is power, you want it, you want to make sure no one can oppose you in it and you think that you are the only ones smart enough, caring enough and enlightened enough to rule all the while ignoring the devastation of your policies.
So please, tell me how horrible I am because you are so superior. At least I am not harboring a criminal because I am too selfish to help them through the legalization process even though I supposedly am a legal expert, have a degree in nearly everything and have friends in the government.
You both are sad, evil little things and I hope that you get to experience the full repercussions of your policies while innocent people are spared.

WASHINGTON (Reuters) - A federal judge on Thursday refused to dismiss criminal charges against a Russian company accused by U.S. Special Counsel Robert Mueller of funding a propaganda operation to sway the 2016 presidential election in Donald Trump’s favor.
The ruling by Judge Dabney Friedrich in the U.S. District Court for the District of Columbia came after lawyers for Concord Management and Consulting LLC argued the indictment brought against it failed to properly allege a crime.

Anecdotal evidence =/= a trend. I believe you're taught that in about 6th grade. There is no reputable study- including those done by the Federal Government- that has demonstrated that voter fraud is widespread. It's been refuted time and time again. You don't believe this because there's evidence of it- you believe it because it's politically convenient (and candidly you're just not that bright).
The entire notion that undocumented immigrants are all running out to risk getting thrown out of this country to commit voter fraud to help out Democrats- especially in states that are already overwhelmingly voting in Democrats- is utterly ridiculous. You have to be an absolute idiot to find that story remotely compelling.
Which, you know, explains a lot about why you buy into it.

TRUMP LAWYER RUDY GIULIANI’S MYSTERIOUS TIES TO RUSSIA AND FORMER SOVIET UNION GO BACK DECADES, EXPERTS ARGUE
hile lawyer and former New York Mayor Rudy Giuliani represents President Donald Trump on matters related to the special counsel’s investigation into the Trump campaign’s alleged collusion with Russia, Giuliani has maintained his own ties to the Kremlin and its allies.
In the month of October, Giuliani traveled to Armenia at the invitation of a Kremlin-linked businessman to participate in a forum for a Russia-led economic union. That same month, the former New York mayor was also named in a criminal complaint because his former law firm allegedly helped Kazakh fugitives launder stolen money. Both Armenia and Kazakhstan were once part of the Soviet Union, and today their governments, security services and intelligence organizations maintain close ties to Moscow.
But experts say Giuliani’s ties to individuals from the former Soviet Union go back decades—and his lucrative connections to the region have occasionally been intertwined with Trump's.
“One of Giuliani’s earliest associations was with Semyon ‘Sam’ Kislin, who donated money to both his 1993 and 1997 campaigns [for mayor] and was appointed by Giuliani to serve on the New York City Mayor’s Council of Economic Advisors,” Olga Lautman, an investigative reporter who spent three years tracking ties between the Russian mafia and Trump’s associates, told Newsweek.
Kislin's website details that the Russian was an active member of the mayor's council until Giuliani left office in 2001.
“According to FBI and Interpol reports, Kislin, a wealthy commodities trader, was using his company to launder money from Russia to the U.S.,” Lautman added.
Giuliani's former law firm also has longstanding ties to a couple from Kazakhstan who fled their country after being accused of stealing millions.
On October 8, Viktor Khrapunov, the former mayor of the Kazakh city of Almaty, and his wife, Leila Khrapunova, were found guilty of financial fraud, taking bribes and running a criminal organization. They were sentenced to 17 and 14 years in jail respectively. Law enforcement officials say the couple helped launder around $10 billion stolen from their country.
It is unlikely, however, that the Khrapunovs will go to prison anytime soon. The couple is avoiding jail time in Switzerland, where it is exceptionally difficult to get an extradition request approved. Lawyers representing the city of Almaty argue that the couple successfully laundered billions of dollars stolen from Kazakhstan in jurisdictions across the U.S. and the world. There are currently court cases pending against them in California and New York.
Court documents allege that the Khrapunovs have deep ties to Trump’s former adviser Felix Sater, a Russian-born businessman with a criminal history who claims to have been a CIA informant. In 2013, Sater’s development company Bayrock helped the Khrapunovs purchase three condos in Trump Tower Soho and quickly resell the properties.
Financial analysts say it’s likely the purchases were used to launder money.
It is unclear whether Trump was aware of the purchase or of the origin of the funds used to buy the condos. But Giuliani, Trump’s longtime friend and associate, must have been aware that the Khrapunov’s money had a dubious provenance. Years earlier, Giuliani’s law firm helped establish a company in the Netherlands through which some of the couple’s money was funneled.
On October 22, the New York City-based human rights organization Avaaz filed a complaint asking Dutch courts to investigate two companies that were set up in the Netherlands to launder some of the Khrapunovs’ stolen funds.
The companies are Bayrock B.V., the Dutch subsidiary of Sater's former employer Bayrock Group LLC, and KazBay B.V., another company Bayrock Group opened for the Khrapunovs.
KazBay B.V. was registered in 2007 with the assistance of Giuliani’s then-law firm Bracewell & Giuliani LLP.
“Rudy Giuliani's law firm was involved in setting up one of the companies, and there are a bunch of overlapping connections between that company and the other companies connected to the Khrapunovs, like the Switzerland-based company Helvetica Capital S.A.,” Emma Ruby-Sachs, deputy director of Avaaz, told Newsweek.
“One of the concrete connections is that $1.5 million went into KazBay from Bayrock and Helvetica. We also know that the biggest overlap is in the stakeholders and individuals used to set up these companies, and we know there is a connection between this fraud and Felix Sater,” Ruby-Sachs added.
Sater, a longtime adviser of President Trump who attempted to help him set up a Trump Tower in Moscow, is named as a beneficiary in the complaint. Giuliani is personally named over a dozen times in the complaint's footnotes.
t was not the first time Giuliani and his firm had dealt with Kazakhstan. Bracewell & Giuliani LLP had an office in the country as early as 1997, the same year Khrapunov became mayor of Almaty. Giuliani's firm used its office in Kazakhstan to collect donations from U.S. expats for the former mayor's failed presidential bid in 2008. During the campaign in 2007, Giuliani threw a fundraising event in Almaty. It's unclear if he ever traveled to the country personally.

Manafort done fucked up and lied to the feds after making a plea deal, exposing himself to further time as well as potentially exposing Trump by allowing Mueller to explain directly to a judge about the lies and collusion.
This is a mini-bench-trial of the collusion facts. If the court grants it, we will see the whole show, right here, and IIRC under the clear-and-convincing standard (for violating plea) rather than reasonable doubt.
Mueller has proposed a way to put Donald Trump, and the facts about Donald Trump, on trial without the slightest chance of executive privilege being asserted, successfully or unsuccessfully.
The judge, not a jury, will make these findings. So they will be spelled out on the open public record, not hidden in the jury’s black box where they can’t be used. And you can be sure Mueller wouldn’t ask for such a hearing unless he had rock-solid evidence on each Manafort lie.
“But,” you cry. “Can’t Trump just deny everything? He lies all the time!” Ha. Ah ha ha. Oh ho ho hee hee. Sure, but that would WAIVE EXECUTIVE PRIVILEGE. Damn, I love ninja lawyers.
Executive privilege can only be used as a shield, not a sword. You can’t poke your head out from behind the privilege, deny that a bunch of stuff happened, then pop back behind it when subpoenaed for all the testimony and evidence and cross-examination that proves you wrong.
So basically, if the judge grants this sentencing hearing under the parameters requested, Trump has little choice but to sit on his hands while the whole case against him is tried in his absence. If he speaks up, he loses any defense to broad document and testimony subpoenas.

Donald Trump’s former campaign manager Paul Manafort held secret talks with Julian Assange inside the Ecuadorian embassy in London, and visited around the time he joined Trump’s campaign, the Guardian has been told.
Sources have said Manafort went to see Assange in 2013, 2015 and in spring 2016 – during the period when he was made a key figure in Trump’s push for the White House.
It is unclear why Manafort would have wanted to see Assange and what was discussed. But the last apparent meeting is likely to come under scrutiny and could interest Robert Mueller, the special prosecutor who is investigating alleged collusion between the Trump campaign and Russia.
A well-placed source has told the Guardian that Manafort went to see Assange around March 2016. Months later WikiLeaks released a stash of Democratic emails stolen by Russian intelligence officers.
Manafort, 69, denies involvement in the hack and says the claim is “100% false”. His lawyers declined to answer the Guardian’s questions about the visits.

WASHINGTON – A blocked number in Donald Trump Jr.’s phone records may be among the first targets for Democrats on the House Intelligence Committee in January as they investigate possible ties between the Trump campaign and Russia.
Rep. Adam Schiff, who is poised to lead the committee when Democrats take over the House majority, told USA TODAY that his committee will have to prioritize the most important witnesses and records that Republicans blocked them from pursuing. The “clearest example” of that obstruction, he said, is phone records that would show whether the blocked phone number – logged as Trump Jr. was arranging a meeting with a Russian lawyer in Trump Tower – belonged to then-candidate Donald Trump.
Trump’s son arranged the June 2016 meeting after being promised “dirt” on Democratic nominee Hillary Clinton. At first, Trump Jr. said he never told his father of the meeting, but then later told Senate investigators that he couldn't recall who he spoke with that night.
“Republicans refused to look at the phone records so that we could find out because they were afraid of what the answer might be,” the California Democrat said.

Also, it looks like Manafort was a regular guest of Assange's (https://www.cnn.com/2018/11/27/politics/paul-manafort-julian-assange-meetings/index.html)
Paul Manafort, President Donald Trump's former campaign chairman, secretly met several times with WikiLeaks founder Julian Assange inside the Ecuadorian embassy in London, including around the time he was made a top figure in the Trump campaign, The Guardian reported Tuesday.
The Guardian, citing sources, said Manafort met with Assange in 2013, 2015 and in the spring of 2016, around the time he joined Trump's campaign.
Both WikiLeaks and Manafort feature prominently in special counsel Robert Mueller's investigation into Russian meddling in the 2016 election and whether the Trump campaign colluded with Moscow. In a court filing on Monday, Mueller accused Manafort of lying to investigators after agreeing to cooperate with the special counsel's office.
The newspaper said it is unclear "why Manafort wanted to see Assange and what was discussed."
Citing a "well-placed source," The Guardian reported that Manafort met with Assange around March 2016, just months before WikiLeaks released Democratic emails believed to be stolen by Russian intelligence officers.
But no collusion here. I'm sure they were just catching up on the latest needlepoint patterns.

2019 is going to be spicy~
Is it? Is it really? I'm pretty sure people have been crying "the impeachment is just around the corner! Just look at what THIS might be!" since 2016, which you'll note is three years prior to 2019, or 75% of the Presidential term of office. At this point, based on the lack of any real evidence showing up so far...the impeachment should happen...what? Retroactively, a couple of years after Trump's second term ends?
I don't like Trump any more than the average person, but at some point you kind of have to realize that after years of not producing anything, not for lack of trying, it's probably not going to turn up.

Oh.
Tell us your thoughts on Mexico offering the "migrants" asylum and them declining it.

Where's the impeachment if there's this mountain of evidence? What's being waited for? Thoroughness? How thorough does it need to be to start impeachment proceedings on a President whose term is already winding down?
I see a lot of "This might prove it!" and "this may be the link that ties Trump to Russia conclusively!" posted, and no actual followup as those things turn out to not be avenues worth pursuing.
It doesn't help to impeach a President retroactively, and the US Government is not known for acting swiftly on literally anything. Either impeachment proceedings start because there's evidence, preferably a year ago to get things done before Trump's out of office, or it's just bluster trying to posture for the next election cycle.

How is it trolling to correctly state that you are at this point grasping at straws? If you'd like to go another route, I'm willing to make you a bet. I'll give you 2 to 1 odds, held in escrow by whomever you like, that Trump will not be impeached. $200 to you if you win, $100 to me.
Think about the opposite at this point. If Hillary had won in 2016, would you still be taking people seriously that she isn't fit to still be in office because look how sickly she is! There's a big coverup! You're literally still talking about mudslinging tactics from the last election like they were anything but that. It's no different than people who pored over Obama's birth certificate for 8 years.

If they're used to keep people from engaging in a legal right, they're illegal.
But you know that already, and you're just desperate to misconstrue my argument so you can feel like you've won..something.
But really it just shows, once again, that you're way out of your league here.
So why don't you let the adults talk, and you can go play with your little friends.

But they aren't being used to prevent people from engaging in a legal right. Tell me how they are. I'll wait. Tell me what Act they are violating. Tell me the exact law. I'll wait.
I mean, you obviously don't even know what the troops were doing down there.
Once again, you don't know what you are talking about and resort to trying to put down someone.

What are your thoughts on the "migrants" being offered asylum by Mexico and them declining? That doesn't seem very asylum-seeker-like.
But what are your thoughts on it though? The world must know.

With the Dems holding almost 40 seats in the House, he'll be impeached. He just won't be convicted and removed from office.
A lot of people mistakenly think impeachment is the act of removing the president.
