Thank you for the swift response. Yes a preliminary injunction was issued, but the actual ruling on the matter is still pending. Specially to the federal employee mandate made in that EO.

Trump never once implemented a nation wide lockdown, you are completely full of shit and it's sad that years later you still believe the lies fed to you.
He asked people to voluntarily quarantine themselves for 2 weeks because the criminal Fauci said we needed 2 weeks to slow the spread.
Pull your head out of your ass already.
And this is how you justify it. It's cool man, cute how you change history to fit into your skewed view.
He instituted the guidelines that shutdown schools, even extended it - but it was the other side that did it!!!!
But hey, those guidelines were voluntary - but effectively shut down the country. lol. Must be just wicked to live in your head.

I hope he buys it and fires the entire woke staff.
They must be all crying this morning.
Here's what he wrote:
I invested in Twitter as I believe in its potential to be the platform for free speech around the globe, and I believe free speech is a societal imperative for a functioning democracy.
However, since making my investment I now realize the company will neither thrive nor serve this societal imperative in its current form. Twitter needs to be transformed as a private company.
As a result, I am offering to buy 100% of Twitter for $54.20 per share in cash, a 54% premium over the day before I began investing in Twitter and a 38% premium over the day before my investment was publicly announced. My offer is my best and final offer and if it is not accepted, I would need to reconsider my position as a shareholder.
Twitter has extraordinary potential. I will unlock it.

I mean, Trump never did place a lock down. It was individual states that did, usually their Governors. A couple states never even had lockdowns, or they were short as hell. I remember Texas dropping their restrictions very early.

I'm confused how this works. Who exactly decides if Musk can buy 100% of the shares? The current board? How is it a "hostile takeover" if the current board can turn down his offer? Can the board decide for share holders not on the board that they must sell their shares?

Charles Darwin posited that organisms which best adapted to their environment were the most successful in reproduction and long term survival. When a worldwide pandemic is killing hundreds of thousands in your country and you refuse available preventative care and then die, then you're proving Darwin correct in that you're not adapting to your environment.
The same goes for getting sick and surviving. The results of natural selection at its finest.

It will be interesting if Must doesn't end up getting his way with this buyout offer.
The largest shareholders of Twitter are all investment firms, they can either get a premium for their stocks now or risk Musk going through with his threat of selling off his 9% stake in the company, most likely resulting in a massive value reduction for their shares. Also some people on the board probably own a lot of stock but are required to hold onto that stock, they too have to make the decision of either cashing in now and walking away with millions of dollars, or risking the value of their holdings dropping.

https://www.yahoo.com/news/report-pregnant-vaccinated-people-more-180147086.html
"Report: Pregnant, vaccinated people more vulnerable to COVID"
"As we hit the midpoint in Black Maternal Health Week, there are new findings on the spread of COVID that might deeply affect how pregnant people safeguard themselves against the virus. As reported last week by the Washington Post, a new study conducted by Epic Research found that even when vaccinated, they are nearly twice as susceptible to contracting COVID as non-pregnant people."
"Worse, they are also at greater risk of becoming seriously ill or dying as a result of the coronavirus."
"Originally, those increased risks were believed to bolster the argument for vaccinations—and it should be noted that vaccines and boosters are still the best general prevention against the virus to date. But since COVID has also been linked to serious complications in pregnancy—including not only deaths but premature births and stillbirths—the findings could inform how pregnant people are vaccinated and treated, as well as what precautions can individually be taken to protect themselves."
Remember the past 2+ years when women who were pregnant, were thinking about not getting the vaccine, or thought to ask questions about it... and were shamed for it? Remember how their fears were pushed aside by the "experts" and the "lemmings"? Remember how any Doctor who supported a pregnant woman's decision to avoid the vaccine faced potential repercussions?
Well look now. They try to downplay it later in the article... but one quote stands out...
"As for the specific implications and necessary precautions for pregnant individuals, there is clearly more research needed. “It’s definitely interesting,” said Denise Jamieson, chair of gynecology and obstetrics at Emory University School of Medicine in Atlanta and a prenatal specialist in infectious diseases. “This study asks this question but doesn’t answer it.”
More research needed. But they'll keep pushing it, even against the wishes of a pregnant woman who is considering her own medical history/conditions.
The idiocy of the "masses" of the past 2+ years is absolutely abhorrent.

Things are getting out of hand if textbook publishers are including CRT in elementary school math books. How would elementary math be relevant to CRT? The Florida Department of Education did not give any examples of CRT in elemental school math books, leaving us to imagine what it may have been. I bet they had word problems with black sounding names, like "DeShawn had five pieces of candy. He gave two pieces of candy to Tyrone. How many pieces of candy did DeShawn have left?"
The Florida Department of Education announced it has rejected dozens of math textbooks submitted by publishers for schools, saying they "contained prohibited topics" including critical race theory.
More... (https://www.axios.com/florida-rejects-math-textbooks-critical-race-theory-1f7555e6-16b7-4303-bb67-4f79c9fc53d3.html)
Details: Most of the rejected books were for elementary schools, according to the education department's statement.
The department said it's "unfortunate that several publishers" had "ignored" the 2021 directive and "attempted to slip rebranded instructional materials" into books, while others "included prohibited and divisive concepts such as the tenants of CRT or other unsolicited strategies of indoctrination despite FDOE’s prior notification."
Worth noting: The education department described the review process as "transparent," but did not name the rejected textbooks nor provide examples of passages that failed to meet the criteria.
The other side: State Rep. Carlos Smith (D) tweeted Saturday thate DeSantis was "hysterically pulling math books outta FL schools claiming they 'indoctrinate' kids with CRT."
"This isn’t just crazy right-wing pandering— next they’ll spend MILLIONS of tax dollars forcing schools to buy math books from GOP campaign donors," Smith added.

Uh yeah. No one was ever teaching Critical Race Theory outside of law school and grad school- and even then it's an obscure legal theory that a 3L *might* spend a week reading about in a specifically chosen elective on race or power and the law. And something that very specific interdisciplinary fields (or Anthro/Soc) might study for a week in very specific classes about race or power.
It blew my mind when suddenly a bunch of crazy conservatives were talking about it. Less surprising was the obvious fact that none of them knew anything about it.
This is a long standing white nationalist goal- to keep schools from discussing anything other than white American history- removing all discussion of diversity. And, naturally, the Republican party decided the best way to deal with the hugely significant issue of racism was by....engaging in dog whistle politics and white grievance.
Sure would be nice if they had any interest in actually solving real problems. Oh and if they weren't so gung-ho about embracing old school KKK politics.

critical race theory (CRT), intellectual and social movement and loosely organized framework of legal analysis based on the premise that race is not a natural, biologically grounded feature of physically distinct subgroups of human beings but a socially constructed (culturally invented) category that is used to oppress and exploit people of colour. Critical race theorists hold that racism is inherent in the law and legal institutions of the United States insofar as they function to create and maintain social, economic, and political inequalities between whites and nonwhites, especially African Americans. Critical race theorists are generally dedicated to applying their understanding of the institutional or structural nature of racism to the concrete (if distant) goal of eliminating all race-based and other unjust hierarchies.
So, if you believe this non sense and are white, how are you not supposed to hate yourself?

I guess to be a critical race theorist it requires you to just completely lie to yourself and to others.

Hate, is not a part of CRT, nor is it a result of learning CRT.
You must have brought that with you.
Ah, yes, someone who is white is just going to thoroughly love themselves after being told they are basically all that's wrong in the world just for being born white. Also, if it wasn't a result of learning CRT, why do so many white people who believe in it hate themselves? Must be pure coincidence.
You thinking I am going to spend my energy on hating anything just shows how devoid of reason you are.

Yeah, that's not what CRT teaches. Hate. You're putting that there.
CRT does not teach that being white is basically all that's wrong in the world. Stop being dense. You're being willfully so.
CRT espouses that being white, wasn't an identity in and of itself until some people decided it should be, for reasons. Then, instead of being proud of being Irish, Scottish, English etc., we'd all be into white pride and shit.
One could understand this theory, and take from it that they have a newfound pride in whatever ethnicity they are. or their Nationality. Or whatever. Move ahead from it having learned, become stronger. Less influenced by people, for reasons.
Or, I guess one could just be thick and act like it means something it doesn't.

I'm not entirely sure why a base ten arithmetic standard or reading/language standards are so terrifying to Conservative Republicans. Their screaming about pedophile swamp lizard takeover of the world through common core gets donations going, so maybe that's the only legitimate reason as they see it.

Well, the Florida Federal District Court ruled that the CDCs mandate exceeded the authority granted under Administrative Procedure Act and Public Health Services Act, though I can see how you can read that sentence and see "Biden violated the constitution" , because all of those letters, except B can be reordered to mean what you interpret.
Maybe that's just it though, Conservatives like Dreaven aren't as partisan, paranoid and xenophobic as we think. They just suffer from such a severe case of dyslexia or cognitive dissonance that what they read or hear means = Biden sux

And yes, CRT principles, the idea that everything in history should be viewed through the lens of racism and the idea that we should teach children to be racist and hate themselves is and has been taught for a good while now and it's destructive. Of course you all don't want to really end racism and sexism because then you wouldn't have the specter of racism and victimhood to control the populations you depend on for votes and money.

What you described has absolutely nothing to do with Critical Race Theory you idiot.
Critical Race Theory is just an offshoot of Critical Legal Theory- which looks at the system of power and inequality as a social structure, and law as both a contributor to, and reflection of, that social structure. i.e. The law is part of how inequality is perpetuated, and legal reform is how we can remedy problems of social inequality. Not a single person here disagrees with that statement, I guarantee. And everyone here has, at some point in their life, said something along the lines of: "The law is there to protect rich people and screw over poor people". Congrats, you are a believer in the fundamental tenants of Critical Legal Theory.
Critical Race Theory is just applying Critical Legal Theory to racism and racial power. It does NOT- in any way, shape, or form- state that everything in history should be seen through the lens of racial inequality. It's a legal theory about the legal system and the way it has been used to enforce racism, and it's only interested in looking at legal remedies to the issue. NOT through the behaviors of individual actors.
Literally no one here believes that it hasn't. The "One Drop Rule", Segregation, racial limits on property ownership, laws that made black people actual property, etc. are all examples of the law enforcing racial inequality. If you can see that, then congratulations: you are a believe in the fundamental tenants of Critical Race Theory.
Again I cannot stress this enough: Critical Race Theory doesn't look at racism as an aggregation of individual actions taken by individual actors. It looks at racism as a social structure that exists independently of most of those actors and looks for remedies through legal change, not individual behavior change.
It is not interested in how children behave. It's not interested in how you behave. It does not give a shit about anyone who doesn't either create or actively enforce laws that are either intentionally written to codify racial inequality or that have the unintentional effect of codifying racial inequality.
What's actually going on here is a bunch of people want to get schools to stop talking about the existence of, and history of, racism in this country. And they just put together a whole list of things they think shouldn't happen- most of which isn't- and gave it a name that would scare people: Critical Race Theory.
Because they know virtually no one outside of niche academic and community activist circles has any idea what it means, and that they won't bother to look it up from an independent source.

I'm just going to post this again (and again) until it gets through everyone's head.
Critical Race Theory is a legal theory that analyzes the ways the legal system is used to codify and enforce racism, which is views as a social structure. It then looks for remedies through legal reforms.
It's not a theory of psychology, and it's not a theory of human behavior. It doesn't look at racism as the culmination of aggregated behaviors from individual actors, nor does it look to remedy racism by changing that behavior. It does not give a flying fuck what your kids think about racism. It does not give a flying fuck about what you do in your day-to-day life or what you believe.
If you're not in charge of writing the laws or enforcing them, Critical Race Theory could not give less of a shit about changing you, your kids, or the choices you make in your stupid lives.
So when someone passes a law that says "Schools can't teach things that make people feel ashamed of their race", that has nothing to do with banning discussions of Critical Race Theory. CRT doesn't care about directly changing how people feel or what they do.
Those laws are there to create a system where it's illegal to do anything that might offend the fragile and racist sentiments of some (hypothetical) white parents, while ignoring the concerns of non-racist white parents and parents of color while also disregarding the well being of their children's isn't about teaching Critical Race Theory in schools.
It's about privileging racist views over everyone else's and using the law to do it. So in fairness, CRT would be VERY interested in those laws.
But not your stupid children.

Lol... well I'm not paying 110 dollars for the CRT books they're peddling and grifting people with these days. The fact you disregard all the references he publishes, quotes, and statements of the purveyors of CRT... again points to your blind, delusional, self-righteous and ignorant perceptions.
Even funnier - you said no one "outside of niche academic and community activist circles has any idea what it means"... trying to demean others and make yourself feel like you're educated - when I had already posted something from the "niche academic" realm... and then you say it's not good enough.
Typical I suppose though. Can't win on points, just deny the points. Typically how it goes. You can keep saying what you want... and you'll still be wrong.
As said though, racist people have a hard time with introspection, and someday you and others may realize how demeaning and racist you all are.

Yay, you are so wrong it hurts.

Photographs obtained by POLITICO appear to show Madison Cawthorn, the embattled Republican congressman from North Carolina who recently accused his GOP colleagues of inviting him to orgies, wearing lingerie in what appears to be a party setting.
Cawthorn, 26, was raised in a conservative Baptist community in Henderson County, North Carolina, and has staked his political persona on arch-traditional Christian principles and the insistence of the importance of a kind of hypermasculinity. His comments about “the sexual perversion” in Washington made on a podcast, which he later admitted were exaggerated, drew the public disapproval and disavowal of Minority Leader Kevin McCarthy as well as other Republican leaders including those in his North Carolina congressional caucus.

Florida education officials have released four images of “woke math” in textbooks they rejected last week for use in K-12 public schools.
The state’s Department of Education rejected 54 of 132 titles that textbook publishers submitted for use next year, including 71% of proposed elementary school books, because they did not meet state benchmarks or they contained examples of critical race theory and social-emotional learning.
Florida education officials said Friday that copyright law prevented them from publicizing the names and publishers of the textbooks that contain the four images, which reference “racial prejudice” in math problems and how students feel about working together on the subject.
“At this time, those who have submitted textbooks for consideration still own the material,” spokesperson Cassie Palelis told The Washington Times in an email.
A disclaimer posted with the images on the department’s website said officials are giving publishers “the opportunity to remediate all deficiencies identified during the review.”
“Based on the volume of requests the department has received for examples of problematic elements of the recently reviewed instructional materials, the following are examples provided to the department by the public and presented no conflict in sharing them,” the disclaimer reads in part.
The first image contains a polynomial math problem that asks students to analyze racial prejudice data from the Implicit Association Test, a widely challenged 1998 psychological study that purported to identify subconscious and unconscious bias against Black individuals.
In two vertical bar graphs that break down the results by age and political persuasion, the problem tells public school students that people older than 65 and conservatives have the most racial prejudice.
The second image, containing an introduction to polynomials that appears to come from the same textbook, refers to the “differences among groups” as “intriguing.”
The third and fourth images contain examples of SEL, a pedagogical emphasis on students’ feelings about studying math.
“Students build proficiency with social awareness as they practice with empathizing with classmates,” states an SEL objective in the third image.
The fourth image says the SEL objectives in each math lesson seek “to build student agency by focusing on students’ social and emotional learning.”
Conservatives see SEL lessons as a Trojan horse for introducing discussions about the alleged bias of mathematics against multicultural students, teaching them to explain their struggles in terms of racism rather than pushing them to succeed.
Leading educational publishers McGraw Hill, Cengage Learning, Savvas Learning Company and Macmillan Learning are included on Florida’s list of rejected textbooks.
Some of them defended their materials Friday.
“Savvas has a long and successful track record of working with the Florida Department of Education to ensure that our instructional materials deliver high-quality, research-based pedagogy designed intentionally to align with the current Florida standards for mathematics,” a Savvas spokesperson told ABC News.
A Macmillan Learning spokesperson said: “We were surprised and disappointed to learn that a statistics text from Bedford, Freeman & Worth Publishers (the Advanced Placement and 9-12 High School division of Macmillan Learning) was not on the approved list of titles from the state of Florida with no explanation.”
Some scholars have accused Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis, a Republican, of rejecting the books without providing adequate explanations for rejecting each of them.
“It is irresponsible to reject materials while refusing to provide actual examples of what is objectionable,” said James Grossman, executive director of the American Historical Association.
“This is akin to Joseph McCarthy referring to lists of communists in his pocket,” the historian added.
Jeremy C. Young, senior manager of free expression and education at the New York-based free speech advocacy group PEN America, said Friday that Florida’s examples show only that the concerns have been “terribly overstated.”
“The few examples released by the Florida Department of Education obscure more than they explain,” Mr. Young said.
“And we still don’t know why the vast majority of these textbooks were rejected, including six textbooks that according to the state’s own rubric contained no ‘special concepts’ but were rejected anyway,” he added. “The Florida DOE has a lot of explaining to do.”
Critics say CRT and SEL lessons have crept into math textbooks in recent years as part of an effort to purge math of bias toward white male rationality.
“The premise of this movement is that current K-12 math instruction is irreparably infused with racism and designed to reinforce existing power dynamics in society,” said Phil Magness, director of research and education at the libertarian American Institute for Economic Research in Massachusetts.
“They then aim to ‘decolonize’ instruction by reorienting toward explicit progressive political activism,” Mr. Magness added. “Usually this is achieved by inserting overtly political messages into textbook examples and problem sets and using them to convey social, environmental, and economic commentaries about societal inequity.”
Quisha King, senior director of education and membership at the conservative parental rights group Moms for America, said the textbooks show that the administration of Florida’s Republican Gov. Ron DeSantis “is not being hyperbolic in their assessment of woke ideology in textbooks.”
“These books are not even trying to hide their curriculum,” said Ms. King, who is Black.
She said “Thinking Mathematically,” a text from the Savvas Learning Company that Florida has restricted, contains a section on new math problems with this sentence: “New applications include student-loan debt, movie rental options, measuring racial prejudice, and many more.”
“How exactly do you ‘measure’ racial prejudice? This is just more evidence of CRT being deeply embedded into K-12 schools across America,” Ms. King said.
Sheri Few, president of the conservative U.S. Parents Involved in Education, said Florida is just the first state to target the “culturally relevant pedagogy” that many public school districts have increasingly provided to teachers in subscription-only online resources.
“Florida is setting precedent for other states and taking the bold steps necessary to root out indoctrination of America’s children,” Ms. Few said.

So when Madison Cawthorn made his infamous speech in 2021 bitching about how effeminate young men were becoming due to not being raised in hypermasculine environment, he clearly wasn't referring to crossdressing as a form of gender expression, sexual fetishism or typical fratboy pseudo-homosexual degredation thrills?
Maybe "they" in his speech, should have had a carve out for GOP members or religious leaders like Jerry Falwell Jr who feel watching another man have sex with theirs wife, or enjoy the pool boy themselves is in fact hypermasculinity the GOP should support?
“Our culture today is trying to completely demasculate all the young men,” he told his audience. A video clip of the speech was shared by Right Wing Watch but it is unknown where and when it was recorded.
“You can look at the testosterone levels in young men today and they are lower than throughout all of history,” Cawthorn continued.
“There’s a lot of reasons for this that we can get into later. But my friends, they’re trying to de-masculate the young men in our country because they don’t want people who are going to stand up.

They realized they were going to be sued by investors if they didn't take the deal. They probably delayed just enough to consult lawyers and such.
basically, the buyout is for 50% more than the stocks are worth. It'd be a failure of their fiduciary responsibility if they didn't take it. I mean, if every stockholder decided it was cool, there is no issue, but with as many people owning stock, there'd undoubtedly be some that did.

My take is the board looked at what he did with Tesla and assumed this was another bluff. The second he had funding set up they took an actual look at the offer.
Don't think they were thrilled with how he failed to disclose what he owned until after he got to 9% off the shares. They probably looked at it as an attempt at a hostile takeover rather than one with actual funding behind it. Given his securities issues in the past, the board agreed accordingly until financing was in the table

How awesome is that that you understand the SEC is responsible for making securities fraud referrals to the FBI. Less awesome that you don't understand that the SEC reached a settlement agreement with Elon Musk whose terms specifically preempted their stated charge of securities fraud from proceeding to the FBI so long as he abided by the terms.
The federal securities statute described under 18 U.S.C. § 1348 is patterned after the mail fraud and wire fraud statutes, and states it's a federal crime defraud anyone in connection with a security or commodity, or to obtain any money or property from the purchase or sale a security, by using means of false or fraudulent pretenses, representations, or promises.

It isn't splitting hairs. You accused him of having a felony. He didn't. He never went to any trial, he was never found guilty of having a felony. I guess you just enjoy saying anyone ever accused of anything is guilty though.
Again, the SEC cannot accuse anyone of a felony act. They can only turn over their investigation to the FBI which can then accuse someone of a felony act. If he had committed a felony, the FBI would be going at him. The also investigate independently, regardless of any deal with the SEC.

Judge knocks down Elon Musk’s bid to end SEC consent decree
A federal judge denied Tesla CEO Elon Musk’s bid to end a settlement agreement he struck with the SEC after it charged him with securities fraud in 2018.
The judge also denied Musk’s request to quash part of a newer subpoena by the federal financial regulators.
In his opinion, Judge Lewis J. Liman shot down an argument Musk attorneys made suggesting that the settlement agreement had chilled the CEO’s right to free speech.
A federal judge on Wednesday knocked down Tesla CEO Elon Musk’s bid to terminate a settlement agreement he struck with the Securities and Exchange Commission after the agency charged him with securities fraud in September 2018. The judge also denied Musk’s motion to quash a newer subpoena by the SEC.
The financial regulators had charged Tesla and Musk with making “false and misleading” statements to investors when the CEO announced on Twitter on Aug. 7, 2018, that he was thinking of taking the automaker private at $420 a share and had “funding secured.”
As part of a settlement agreement, Tesla and Musk each agreed to pay a $20 million fine. Musk also had to relinquish his role as chairman at Tesla for three years and agreed not to claim innocence or deny the allegations of the SEC’s complaint.

Maybe it's time Madison Cawthorn finally comes out? Between his crossdressing and what appears to be a very special bromance with one of his staffers, it appears our hate mongering social conservative meant everyone else when he vilified homosexuals as being disgusting. As usual, Republicans display their utter hypocrisy by living the lives they tell the rest of us are immoral and evil.
EXCLUSIVE: 'I would like to see a naked body beneath my hands.' GOP Rep Madison Cawthorn is caught on video with male scheduler's hand on his crotch as new ethics complaint claims the congressman gave him thousands of dollars in loans and gifts, Footage obtained exclusively by DailyMail.com shows Rep. Madison Cawthorn, 26, in a car with his close aide and staffer Stephen Smith, 23
New video of scandal-ridden GOP Rep Madison Cawthorn having his crotch felt by a close male friend and staff member is at the center of a complaint calling for an investigation into him and filed with the Office of Congressional Ethics today, DailyMail.com can reveal.
The extraordinary footage, obtained exclusively by DailyMail.com and seen here for the first time today, shows Cawthorn, 26, in a car with his close aide and his scheduler Stephen Smith, 23.
Cawthorn sits in the driver's seat apparently filmed by Smith as he adopts an exaggerated accent and says, 'I feel the passion and desire and would like to see a naked body beneath my hands.'

The camera then pans back to Smith who says, 'Me too' as Cawthorn can be heard laughing. Smith then films himself reaching his hand over and into Cawthorn's crotch.
The video is one of several exhibits filed in support of the ethics complaint drafted by political group Fire Madison Cawthorn.
Cawthorn appeared to allude to the scandal on Thursday in a tweet which said: 'Many of my colleagues would be nowhere near politics if they had grown up with a cell phone in their hands.'

From the article:
Another made by the representative to his staff member four days later reads, 'The stuff we did in Amsterdam.'
The following day on June 21 Cawthorn made a payment to Smith for, 'The quickie at the airport.'
Four days later Smith makes a payment to Cawthorn 'For loving me daily and nightly.'
One note on a payment made by Smith to Cawthorn on December 13, 2018, reads simply, 'Nudes.'
It is not clear if the two twenty-somethings added those tags as a joke.

So your solution to this dichotomy is that, abortions for more POCs is the correct path? To save POCs lives?
Or maybe.. just maybe.. if you read further down... the solution is to improve overall health care in those communities?
“These disparities are devastating for families and communities and we must work to eliminate them,” said Emily Petersen, M.D., medical officer at CDC’s Division of Reproductive Health and lead author of the report. “There is an urgent need to identify and evaluate the complex factors contributing to these disparities and to design interventions that will reduce preventable pregnancy-related deaths.”

If I kill a pregnant woman is it one murder or two? Should the sentencing be different? If I stab a pregnant woman in the belly and kill her child, is it murder or just assault?
The crazy thing is at one time killing a woman's unborn child wasn't considered a crime, until one day a jealous ex-husband beat his pregnant ex-wife's belly until her new lover's child was killed and he wasn't charged with a crime (other than the assault on the woman). Then the government passed laws considering the fetus a person, both in an attempt to protect the unborn child AND the woman.
Now Democrats want to go backwards. Already in NY they don't consider it a crime for ANYONE to kill a pregnant woman's unborn child, whether the woman wants the child killed or not, and already the exact same scenario I described above which created laws to protect women in the first place has already happened in NY and once again no crimes were committed by said man.
Democrats don't give a single shit about protecting women or the sanctity of human life, they just care about power at any cost.

So you believe late term abortions are wrong?
Well this isn't going anywhere, so have fun with yourself.

Democrats don't give a single shit about protecting women or the sanctity of human life, they just care about power at any cost.
This is correct. And Seran is very upset that you said this.

That is my opinion because I was asked the question.
I think once they are viable outside the womb they are person.
Now answer my questions, I'm not having a one sided interrogation.
So, once that cluster of cells is viable outside the womb, then the "It's the woman's choice what to do with her body" logic is completely discarded like a 3 week fetus and now you want to protect the non-person that is literally sucking the life away from this poor, poor woman?
What determines "viability" outside the womb?

So you do or you don't believe in late term abortions?
Not sure why you are so upset with tgo01's question. Seemed pretty straight forward to me.
I'll answer it: As a person with pro-choice views, I am against late term abortions.
Weird... it was extremely easy for me to answer it.
Why is it so difficult for you?

Uh-oh! Looks like drauz realized he was about to get disowned by the Democrats for suggesting any sort of restrictions on abortion.
drauz: life begins when the baby can survive outside the womb.
Me: so late term abortions are wrong then since the baby can survive outside the womb at that point?
drauz: I’m right! You’re wrong! I’m outta here!

Yes, that doesn't mean I think it is a person.
It is made of human cells, human DNA. What is it?

That's the problem with the Democrats of today..

If I kill a pregnant woman is it one murder or two? Should the sentencing be different? If I stab a pregnant woman in the belly and kill her child, is it murder or just assault?
Ones a crime, the other is not. One is morally reprehensible to society, the other only to a small minority. They don't equal, your comparisons. You're trying to ask me to compare the taste of apples to the color blue and not understanding the difference

We did ban religions from performing said acts. Now if we can just ban the Alt-left death cult from performing child sacrifices.
It's not a child, nor is it a sacrifice. It's ending an unwanted growth for personal, moral, financial or health reasons.
