The Parkland, Fla., teacher who volunteered to carry a gun in school after the deadly Feb. 14 massacre was arrested Sunday for leaving his loaded gun in a public bathroom, the Miami Herald reported Wednesday.

Sean Simpson, a chemistry teacher at Marjory Stoneman Douglas High School, left his loaded Glock 9 mm in the bathroom of a Deerfield Beach Pier on Sunday, the the Herald stated stated, citing a Broward County Sheriff’s Office report.

Simpson said he left the gun by mistake and that when he went back for it, Joseph Spataro, described as a vagrant according to the sheriff's report cited by the Herald, had already found it and fired it.

Students who are stressed out during finals at the University of Utah now have a "Safe Place" to cry in the library on the Salt Lake City Campus. The "Cry Closet" was installed by graduating College of Fine Arts senior Nemo Miller in the lobby of the Marriott Library.

The small room has rules, which were posted on the door. The first rule says students need to knock before entering. Only one person is allowed in the closet at a time for a maximum of ten minutes. Students are asked to turn off the light and timer before leaving the room, which is filled stuffed animals and features a plush carpet. Students who use the room are asked to tweet about their experience using #cryclosetuofu.

Jana Cunningham, who works for the school's communications office, told Fox 31 that the room is "great place to just come and decompress" from the stress of finals. Other students agreed.

Freshman Chidi Ahanonu said that with a busy exam schedule there is "the need to relieve some stress."

Not everybody liked the idea. One student ripped into the room in a tweet calling it "beyond pathetic" and wondering "how many prospective employers have cry closets?"

Richard Ned Lebow, a teacher at King’s College, has been under fire for his fateful choice of humor. When entering the elevator at a San Francisco convention, he was asked by gender studies professor Simona Sharoni which floor he was going to. In admirable dad joke fashion, Lebow replied “ladies’ lingere.” The joke was a nod to the olden days of department stores when customers told an elevator operator which floor of merchandise they were going to. Sharoni apparently didn’t find the silly little quip so entertaining.

When told to apologize, Lebow refused. He described in an e-mail to colleagues that he found the committee’s decision to be “a horrifying and chilling example of political correctness” that “encourages others to censor their remarks for fear of retribution.”

Sharoni wrote in an e-mail to Ruth Marcus of the Washington Post that rejecting the principle of political correctness was a “blanket excuse by those who refuse to rethink and change their racist, sexist and homophobic beliefs and practices. From inappropriate jokes in public spaces to unwanted sexual advances and assault, men in positions of power are outraged when they are being held accountable, even if the sanction is as minor as a request for an apology.”

Hulu is only going to keep getting better. Disney, 21st Century Fox, Comcast(Which owns NCUniversal), and Time Warner are all major holders in it, so there'll be a lot less going to Netflix in the future. All the Marvel Universe stuff is going to be getting pulled from Netflix eventually too.
