Washington was kind of sad to me. The state itself is amazing, I can't think of a place I have been that has so many different climate zones. Seattle though, honestly it's probably the biggest shit hole I have ever visited. I basically went there to see the space needle and visit the pier.

The contrast was something straight out of a book or some shit. You have all these people eating steak and lobster in an open air restaurant, this establishment has 3 foot cast iron fencing around the business. Directly on the other side of the fence you have heroin junkies passed out on the sidewalk and pan handlers sitting beside them. I could not get the fuck out of there fast enough. The space needle was just as disappointing, surrounded by junkies and pan handlers. Seattle has a serious fucking problem that I can only imagine is a 100x worse in S.F.

That being said, once you cross the bay and get around Olympic it becomes absolutely amazing again. I really wish I could afford to live in that area, if ever there was a place that reminded me of where pirates may live, it's those little villages along the 101.
