Heh, I got that duster made on the first run of the cruise, in the last 15 minutes of being on the boat. By far the best item I got there. What would you switch around in his inv, I'm curious?

The leather itself appears archaic, cracking and splitting along the hems. Crude mithril spikes are attached to the shoulders and collar, winding in varying, erratic rows. Each spike protrudes in a different direction, enhancing the vicious look of the duster. The front of the long coat appears to be made of dual layers of leather, as do the back tails, protecting it from excessive wear.

a flawless sylvan linden bow,
This light weight bow has obviously been lovingly-crafted and shows many signs of care in its making. The pale wood stave is carved with the grain to maintain integrity and strength, and a subtle matte finish highlights the contours and smoothness. Finely-detailed designs have been painted fluidly along the face of the bow in muted taupe accentuated with deeper gray-green. You also notice a small enchanter's glyph.

Like the bow, the garotting necklace (I think that's what it is, anyway), and the FWI medallion. That'd make it slightly less in the way of inventory 'cause it's over my personal limit (5 lines) of what I'll read in the game. But.. yeah, I want those slippers.

Just had this bodice done the other day to go with a skirt Mavika did for me on the WD. I don't have the shoes or other accessories yet but I love the bodice and skirt.


You tap a beaded dark cherry silk skirt with a sable-edged lacy underskirt.


You remove a silk-laced dark velvet bodice from in your dark suede rucksack.

Crushed deep black velvet has been meticulously cut to fit closely to the torso with strips of dark mistwood added for the boning, creating an hourglass effect. The daringly-cut bustline has been edged with sable cording and a slight ruffle of dark cherry lace peeks out from the top. Wisps of silk have been used for the lacing in the back and are threaded through intricate crystal grommets.

a thigh-length perse silk jacket-- Lightweight silk has been custom-tailored and dyed a deep perse in color for the jacket and four engraved silver clasps adorn the garment from midriff to hem. A soft layer of satin lines the inside while the long sleeves taper to a v-shaped point at the wrists. Translucent embroidery adorns the edges of the sleeves and a deep hip-length slit has been included on each side of the jacket to provide slight flares and accent the figure when worn.

a twisted two-tone metal armband-- Gleaming bronze and silver strands are crafted to twist in a sinuous labyrinth of metal, meeting at the center of the band in an elaborate knotwork design. Set into the center of the knotwork is a beautifully cut cerulean moonstone.

a set of etched eahnor rings-- The eahnor bands have been wrapped together with a thin wisp of translucent, snow-white silk. Intricately spiraling etched lines wind around and over each small ring. Their faint images disappear repeatedly only to reappear in the spaces between the silk. A flawless moonstone crescent is inset between the two rings as a centerpiece, and the silk ties underneath for concealment.

some low-slung flared pants-- Casual and lightweight, these form-fitting pants are designed to ride low upon the hips and fasten at the back with a small silver clasp. Featuring flared ankles, the garment is designed for ease of movement as well as fashion and sport a small third-inch side-slit just at the hem of each pant leg.

Yeah, I usually try to go by that guideline too. Thing is, Aura hates slippers, skirts and bodices. So I'm getting her an altered outfit on the cruise.

As for the wire necklace and bow, she has reasons for always keeping them available.

Yeah, I'll definitely put the medallion away and shorten it somehow. It's mostly the long descripts that did this.

Several layers of gauzy moss green chiffon overlap, forming a demure, ankle-length skirt. Oh! I've seen her! I love that hair, by the way. The frizzy part really adds a touch of realism that's missing from a lot of perfect characters.

And I don't think it's stereotypical empath, 'cept for all the herb embroidery but that's tastefully done, because it's not fifteen lines of pin-worns themed after the character's name. Like.. there're a bunch of lily and angel-named empaths and they're covered with lily and angel crap. It's like some sort of disease, I swear...

The shaft of this staff is made of a few pieces of blackend bone with deep red glyphs carved up the sides to the top. It is adorned with a bleached white skull, its misshapen teeth set in an odd grin. Two crimson rubies have been expertly set into the eye sockets, sparkling slightly each time the light hits them.

The fingers of these gloves have been faded and scorched over the years, through constant exposure to arcane power. The tiny glyphs running down the sides of the fingers are now barely discernable. Intricately cut onyx studs encircle the wrist, their dark facets glimmering subtly, but not reflecting much light.

a glyph-trimmed spell component neckpouch - Show:
Crimson and emerald glyphs adorn the edges of this black silk pouch, which can be secured about a wearer's neck with a blackened length of leather. The inside is separated into a number of small compartments for storing certain herbs and other magical materials, if the glyphs are any indication. The neckpouch can be drawn close with a bead-tipped strip of hide that has been cut to such a short length, it can serve only its purpose of securing the pouch, rather than overpowering the mystical decorations.

The edges of this satchel are adorned with alternating sapphire and emerald glyphs. Apart from these small markings the satchel is made from a finely woven deep black silk. Inside, the satchel is lined with a light purple velvet and separated into numerous different compartments.

some hooded dark silk robes. - Show:
The hood of these robes is very deep, easily shrouding the face of whoever dons it. Alternating crimson and gold glyphs surround the edge of the hood and also wrap around the end of the sleeves. Apart from these small markings, the robes are made of a deep black silk which flows easily around the wearer's body.

Alternating crimson and gold gylphs adorn the edges of this cloak, running down the front from the clasp. Apart from these small markings, the cloak is very simple in appearance. It is made of a deep blue silk and lined inside with a light purple velvet.


My personal favorite are the casting gloves, which is kind of ironic since they were the first alter I ever got.

It's been a while since anything was posted. This is my Huntress archer. She hasn't got any altered features (yet) so no point in showing those.

She is wearing a cast silver hunt scene choker, a sturdy cotton multi-strapped harness, a knee-length black cotton tunic with waist-high slits up each side, some black suede chaps side-buckled with a multitude of straps, some low-slung grey muslin pants, and some tall black wrapped leather boots.

Choker:
Four separate pieces of the scene were cast in their molds individually and put together with hidden hinges; when the choker is fastened the seams are all but invisible. The pack of graceful, long-limbed sight hounds runs almost the full circle of the choker, save a gap occupied by a pair of deer. The doe is pictured looking back towards the dogs nipping at her heels while the stag has a lowered head, the sharp tines of his antlers aimed at the last dog of the pack.

Harness:
A multitude of grey cotton straps bind the harness to the body - two meant to go around the midriff just under the chest, one around each shoulder and across the neck, and two around each upper arm - each fastened adjustably in the front with black buckles. A slender dagger sheath is fixed to a strap on the left arm while a petite envelope pouch hangs from the lowest midriff strap. Suede cords dangle in rows across the back, allowing for many different things to be tied to the harness.

Pants:
Thick, durable muslin has been dyed an indeterminate grey and cut to a comfortable straight leg style with crisp pleats. Two black oval buckles with thin straps fasten the pants at the front of each hip.

Boots:
The boots are solid black leather up to the ankles, featuring thin soles and faintly pointed toes. From there, the leather is divided into long thin straps wound close around each leg until just under the knees where they fasten tightly with black lacquered buckles.

Heh, DrxLecter had the same idea as me! Hm. It is a little overboard on the glyph theme but otherwise nice. And the gloves are good, especially for a first alteration.

I swear I'm not trying to sound like a bitch when I say this, but DAMN, like glyphs much?

I do like that you're trying to coordinate all your pieces, but it just seems overbearing with all that written stuff all over your outfit! Perhaps limiting items that are glyph covered, or finding a way to simply keep the glyphs in the show would probably help.

Head-to-toe order helps too.

That horrid pack is used to hold all the shit I'm going to buy, plus what I need altered. I didn't think it was SO bad and it fits the summery theme.

Reminiscent of snakeskin, the corset carries a faint oily shimmer. Constructed on a buttery soft white suede base, the entirety of this garment has been covered with a layer of fine iridescent white vaalin scales. Thin enough to flex under slight pressure, it is pliable enough to allow a wearer to move with ease. Carefully concealed underneath the scales, tiny matching vaalin grommets allow the corset to be conspicuously laced from the back with white suede cords.

The anklet was made by HouseofElves and looks like this:
A band of wide bronze is crafted to encircle tightly around the ankle. Along the surface, flecks of green and dusky crimson are interspersed, lending to the mottled appearance of the metal. The cuff is held in place with a small, pale blue mithril spike that serves as a clasp.

The sundress was made by me and everything else is off-the-shelf.

This soft, wispy dress is the color of fine, ivory sand. Its thin straps cross the back, ending at the low waist. The bodice is fitted, its scooped neckline edged in silk thread with ancient, intertwined knot work. Each of the four elements is indicated in a flowing illustration of earth, air, fire and water. The skirt flows out from the waist, ending in a jagged, mid-calf length hem.

A pattern of black on black gives this bodice a semblance of elegance and mystery. At first glance, you see its classic lines, from its slim waist up to the narrow straps at the shoulders. The silk material seems to catch the light, inviting you to look closer, at which point you notice its subtle, intricate pattern of twisting vines and full mournblooms. Dark laces cinch the bodice snugly down each side.

It practically breaks Lysistrata's old rule of no all-black but since she's out of the evil closet, she figures she might as well play to type.

The circlet is simple and slender, crafted of translucent black glaes with a dark red sheen. Shaped like an upside down crown, dozens of long sharp tines point downwards around the length of the circlet.

She is wearing a deeply-hooded fluid dark silk cloak, a dark-sheened soft velvet bodice, a curvaceous black sylvan corselet, an antique rune-etched armband, a ruby red eahnor wedding ring, a sigil-chased dark velvet sack, a thick leather sword belt with an etched mithril buckle, some dark flowing silk pants, an elegant black silk thighband, and some slim black narrow-toed boots.

thighband:
The thighband is composed of a double layer of supple leather the width of two fingers. The inner side is lined with satin for comfort while a layer of fine black elven silk covers the outer side. Evenly spaced ruby studs faceted into small crescent moons keep the fabrics in place while allowing for a narrow blade to be slipped between the two layers of leather. Delicate ruby-dusted sylvan runes alternate with the studs on the outer side and meet with the reinforced silk straps fastening the garment.
(Inside is a thin shadowed steel stiletto)

Armband: (bonded to her sister Michiko)
Dual lengths of eahnor and natural white vaalin have been meticulously twisted and melded together in a sinuous ring of leaves designed to clasp closely around the arm. Despite the obvious antiquity of this piece, the metals have managed to hold their luster throughout the years. Tiny ancient sylvan runes have been etched into each of the metals in a random pattern and a small crescent moon-shaped sylvarraend ruby has been inset at the center.
There appears to be something written on it.
In the Common language, it reads:
"Thicker than water, our bond is infinite."


Corselet: (her FGB)
Lined with soft crimson silk for comfort, the corselet has been crafted for stealth as well as comfort. Magnificent tailoring and well-oiled sturdy leather attest to the importance it holds in its owner's eyes and contributes to keeping the wearer safe as well as assuring silence in movement. Intricate sylvan runes of protection are etched upon the rigid surface, and an intricately-detailed modwir tree with branches spread protectively is tooled onto the right shoulder pauldron. You also notice a small enchanter's glyph.

Everything is off the shelf except for the ring and the few alters I showed here. The belt is actioned:

You slip the leather sword belt around your waist and buckle it tightly, adjusting the scabbards so one rests on each hip.

She is wearing a grey-edged ebony facial veil, a whorled crystal ball symbol, a blackworked dove grey silk robe, some long twilight grey silken robes adorned with black velvet spirals on the sleeves, some twisted grey prayerbeads, a large clear hollow crystal pouch, and a pair of silver-laced sandals.


I see the prayerbeads as wrapping around her waist and everything except the robes, stick and symbol are off the shelf.

Show on the symbol:
Suspended from a fine mithril chain of a deep grey hue is a gleaming pure silver symbol in the shape of a crystal ball set on a small pedestal. Dark veins of onyx are inlaid into the silver, swirling around the circumference and giving the ball a misty appearance.

She is supposed to have the mangled leg. It is from an attack by Faendryl when she was a younger and the magic they used makes it impossible to be healed. So now she's kind of a charity case for the Temple of Jastev in Solhaven. Probably the only "child" character I'll ever attempt. And no, she doesn't hunt which is why she will continue to be shelved until alt-exp comes out.

ive been trying to figure that out forever.

Take everything off, then put toe to head. So, put your footwear on, then pants etc. I always put armor somewhere in the middle. Just think logically about the head to toe order you would wear them and don't wear too much fluff. (Unless you're an empath who hangs out in TSC) ;)

Also, remember when you log in again your inv will be the wrong way around so its best to log in twice and get it in order. :)

The linen of this shirt was once both bright and white, but misuse and a lack of caring have rendered it dull and cloudy grey. Severe splotching around the collar suggests a drinking problem in a former or current owner, and approximately half of the buttons have popped off in an effort to escape. The sleeves are shredded through the forearm, and a few criss-crossed tatters across the back almost, but not quite, suggest an orderly decoration.

Show on the necklace:
Brilliant tiny glimaerstones are strung along a two-tired slender necklace. The gold color of the gems seems to become ablaze as the light strikes them, enhancing their sun-colored glow. A strand of the ivory parts the front of the necklace and twin stones dangle from the end. The gems are patterned with a faint whorl pattern that becomes more apparent when they overlap.

What her ring will look like:
an ivory eahnor-inlaid ring ~ A slender band of ivory has been carved into a perfect alabaster circle. Dividing the pale white color is a strip of brilliant scarlet eahnor. The deep red metal carries a soft golden tinge that mimics the sun-hued glimaerstone resting in the triple-prong setting.


By the pool:

Wrap:
Brilliant orange silk has been folded and wrapped across the torso a multitude of times in a criss-crossed pattern over the chest. The sunset-hued material ties in a knot behind the neck, leaving the arms and midriff exposed. A row of tiny orange spessartine garnets dangle from the bottom edges of the garment.

Skirt:
An extended length of loosely woven silk has been dyed a vivid orange hue, resembling the color of the setting sun. The garment is crafted to cover the legs completely with enough material to wrap over the front in a broad criss-crossed pattern, tying in the back. Flaring out dramatically at the hem, the skirt fades through shades of orange to deep red that eventually blend into a brilliant purple, drawing the eye to any movement of the fabric.

The piercing and mesmerizing eyes draw attention away from the long forked tail and billowing leathery wings.

Several layers of clear lacquer finish the outside of this narrow wooden case, allowing the fine grain and intense wash of rust red and honey yellow to stand out as the main feature of the box. Its construction is long and thin, with the interior of the kit assaulting the senses with the pungent scent of the wood, and the intense hue of the vermilion silk lining the sides. As a finishing touch, glossy eahnor toggles serve to clasp the two halves of the kit closed.

Pike:
The whole of the pike has been forged of gleaming white ora, from shaft to spear-like tip. The blade is particularly ornate, wrought in the shape of a long stylized flame. A thin band of copper and eahnor cloisonne at the base of the blade continues the fiery theme. Below that, a length of sheer alabaster silk has been tied to the shaft of the pike, slithering sinuously with the least movement of the weapon. The white ora pike is surrounded by a baneful white flickering flame that burns with the rage of divine fury.

(Yay, divine fury!!)

Ferroniere:
Strung on a thin strand of pale silk, the faceted teardrop emerald, large and a brilliant transparent green, displays a crimson glow deep in its heart. Despite the center's fiery appearance, the gem emits no heat. At times the glow suddenly expands, nearly filling the emerald with its bright red coloration. Then it slowly contracts until it is just a small glowing ember once again.

That's practically word for word the show on a faceted tear-drop emerald I got as a prize for the smuggling quest on the Wavedancer. I loved the look of it so much, I had to make a piece of jewelry out of it!

Okay Ladies, going to post an outfit to get opinions on as I'm designing some more clothing for Jolena. Tell me what you think and don't hold back either! if you hate something, let me know, likewise if you love something. Any constructive input is welcome!

A billowing white satin longcoat: Dual hip-length slits have been cut into the sides of this garment for a flared effect. Dark sage thread has been utilized for the seams and the trailing embroidered leaves which adorn the hem, long tapered sleeves and high collar. Five looped silver frog-clasps adorn the front of the longcoat from the middle of the chest to three inches above the ankle-length hem.

A scoop-necked sage chiffon blouse with pale grey beadwork along the hem

Some pale grey chiffon trousers: Lightweight, airy chiffon dyed a pale, almost translucent grey hue has been fashioned with a layer of sage chiffon lining to give the fabric a multi-hued appearance. Loose by design, the garment falls elegantly from the low-slung waist which features a built-in braided white satin belt. The tapered pant legs tie around the lowest part of the ankle with removable thin strips of satin ribbon.

A circular clasp has been fashioned from a polished sunstone and is used to secure the garment at the back in a gathered knot.

a knee-length russet silk sarong: This casual garment is cut from a single layer of dark russet silk fastened by a trio of copper scales fashioned into a multi-layered crescent clasp. Dangling golden amber beads alternate with a half-inch golden silk fringe around the hem of the skirt.

You know, I like the look but you have so much stuff why not try to make it two seperate outfits?

Perhaps create a black rose and gold themed one and then a red and black wire one? It gets the image across but there is a lot of extra stuff, especially containers in there.

Yeah, the balance between accessories can be hard to accomplish sometimes. But I think Shimmerain does very well with his outfit coordination, not too much, not too sparse. The only reason his outfit isn't up in my Alteration Hall of Fame's 'cause you use words that would force an opinion on an observer, like "beautiful". But that's just a personal preferance of mine.

Nauriel's theme looks good but it's much longer than I would normally read. Maybe she could put away the buckler, amulet, and shard when not in immediate use? That'd cut down at least a line and a half. Or, of course, use HoE's suggestion, which is a good one. Every girl needs a change of outfit sometimes so why not split it into two?

And yeah, boxfounds are great. They can really become something special to the character.

Along the crest, it is accented with a flourish of flames, flanked to the left with a sleeping dark blue panther, and flanked to the right with a pair of crossed silver wands. At the top of the crest, the owner is honored with a white-rimmed silver-starred diamond.

Oh, and the chrysoberyl necklace, though it doesn't match..was changed during an event with some tigers, and she was given this(by Andelas, since we had saved some tiger cubs and my friend and I were willing to give our lives in sacrifice..long story)

The show:Each of the cabochon-cut stones on the necklace glimmers with the same greenish-golden hue as a cat's eye.

It isn't that the "game" says it isn't real. It is that you have to be honored by an Elven royal in order to receive it and since GMs are the only ones able to play Elven royal families, then they could say, "That is a fake." It's like someone wearing spurs and claiming to be a knight. The baron or earl would have to give that title to them.

We aren't trying to rain on your parade, it's just that stuff like that can at times lessen the experience of someone who does earn a jewel. Just like how I was annoyed after finally getting my forehead gem only to have GMs make them on the WD after they said those were to be the only ones allowed. Ah well, nature of the "game" I suppose.

Uhh anyways. It's a nicely put together crest.

Gorget:
The basic design of the gorget follows traditional lines with a nearly chin-high collar to protect the throat and a curving projection partially covering the chest and shoulders. But its sinuous filigree form shows it is meant for decorative use. Half of the faenor is preserved in its dark-veined pale green, interwoven with faenor so blackened it retains only highlights of its usual hue. Together with the filigree pattern, the mix of faenor gives the impression of vivid, unnatural flames.

Longcoat:
Soft, flawlessly dyed black suede makes up this longcoat, with burnished silver buttons running from its high stiff collar to the calf-length hem. The garment is only fastened from the collar to the top of the waist, though, allowing it to flare back dramatically.

Ring:
Time has worn smooth and shiny the surface of the ring in most places, showing its many years of use, though the natural appearance of pale verdant veins tinged with evergreen is undimmed. A circle of dark jade has been mounted in the faenor, with a stylized Nalfein rose imbedded in the jade with iridescent carved black pearl petals.

Personally I like longcloaks, jackets and the likes. I have several that are altered and some that are off the shelf that go well with many of my outfits. When i'm going to a formal gathering however I don't wear any type of cloak, etc. Usually I will carry an altered bag/purse etc that holds quite a bit so it can hold my armor and weapon just in case heh.

Edited to add the cloak I just purchased from someone to go with a future outfit I'm making-- a brushed cranberry suede cloak with two back slits

She is wearing a sharp-tined ebon glaes circlet, a pair of sleek two-tone eahnor pauldrons, an eahnor and black glaes breastplate, a scarlet-swept grey pyramidal censer, a long front-split tasset of diamond-shaped black glaes scales, a pair of tight black leather pants, and some tall black wrapped leather boots.


Lance:
The vultite of the lance has been bleached paler than its natural blue, the exact hue of the hottest part of a flame. Darkly burnished bronze has been carefully cast in stylized flames flaring up from the base of the lance, spiraling around it towards the tip. Sturdy, blackened ironwood forms the haft with a matching bronze grip sculpted to fit the hands. You also notice a small enchanter's glyph.

Circlet:
The circlet is simple and slender, crafted of translucent black glaes with a dark red sheen. Shaped like an upside down crown, dozens of long sharp tines point downwards around the length of the circlet.

Pauldrons:
Designed to fasten to the body with a multitude of black leather straps, the pauldrons are sleek, rounded half-oval projections covering each shoulder and stretch a little past. Vivid scarlet eahnor filigree has been inlaid upon a background of eahnor so blackened it retains only hints of its natural hue, snaking outwards in a jagged, flame-like pattern over the pauldrons.

Breastplate:
Translucent black glaes has been finely crafted into four segments to preserve a wide range of movement while providing the kind of protection only fine plate can. The chest and upper back pieces overlap snugly with the plates covering the abdomen and lower back and are polished to a smooth finish. Flames of scarlet eahnor are reflected beneath the surface of the glaes, shifting in a spectral dance as the metal inlay beneath the glaes catches the light.

Censer:
Formed into a four-sided, narrow pyramid, the censer is crafted from dark grey steel, its surface bearing subtle damascened patterns incised into the dark hue of the metal. Wrought upon each side of the censer is a single pillar of brilliant flame, the scarlet hazes of fire ascending upwards to the central spire of the pyramid, where a flawless despanal serves as a tip of the stylized inferno.

Boots:
The boots are solid black leather up to around the ankles, featuring thin soles and faintly pointed toes. From there, the leather is divided into long thin straps designed to wind close around each leg until just under the knees where they fasten tightly with black lacquered buckles.

Knotwork stiched in pale white thread spirals down the center of the coat, twining in a seemingly infinite pattern around the hem. A trio of grey pearl buttons fasten the longcoat snugly at the waist, leaving neck and flared hemline open.

Crafted of exquisite silk foulard the color of smoldered ashes, the rich material has been tailored to mold the wearer's curves. Pale alabaster thread weaves throughout the material, its scrolling pattern only accented by the bodice's sleek lines. Ebony and dove satin ribbons lace the bodice snugly down the front, while delicate cutwork adorns the daringly low notched neckline, framing the otherwise risque design in a semblance of elegance.

Skillfully crafted from polished silver, the top of the ring is shaped like the spreading boughs of a willow tree. A crimson heart-shaped ruby is set at the center of the branches. Engraved inside the band is a single word, "Remember."

The smooth metal of the case shines with a brilliant luster, its edges capped with dark moonstone inlays. A sinuous swirl curls in the center of the case, the moonstone traced with onyx and ecru. A silver-tooled onyx knob clasps the metal together, the stone oval-cut and buffed to a glossy shine.

Tailored from rich silk in a stony-white hue, the skirt was made to envelop the form in a slightly fitted, though courtly design. Elegant quilting in the matelasse style gives the otherwise slippery silk a more substantial feel, while pale needlework in shades of ebon and snow goose grey detail elegant swirls in a mist-like pattern along the hem.

Gossamer white velvet has been stitched to encase the calf snugly, the cuffs turned and embellished with an iridescent silver threading. Tiny grey pearls fasten the boots along the sides, leading down to pearly vaalorn heels. The heels taper to fine, sharp points, the luminescent sheen there polished to a brilliant luster.

You remove a willow-hilted grey vultite no-dachi from in your velvet longcoat.

Honed to a razor sharpness and polished to a mirrored shine, this no-dachi is as elegant as it is dangerous. The hilt has been carved from a single willow bough and wrapped in strips of grey and ruby leather, the strips crossing each other to show the beauty of the wood beneath. Its blade curves slightly and bears numerous etchings of sinuous swirls. Engraved just above the hilt, in common, is the word, "Ghost."

The case and the boots were not designs of mine. So feel free to pick on the rest of them. I'm not the best wordsmith, but its still one of my favorite outfits.

You look closely at Jolena, examining a strapless mistwood-boned corset. This corset is sewn of soft darkened suede and is laced tightly up the back with silver wisps of silk through ornate crystal grommets. Strips of sanded mistwood create an elegant boning effect and a tiny deep red ruby jewel is placed in the top center of the garment, complimenting the bustline beautifully.


You look closely at Jolena, examining a spiralling mistwood armband. Carved intricately from a single piece of mistwood, the armband has been meticulously sanded and then finished with a light dye to accentuate the grain of the wood. Lightly etched on the turning band are different caricatures of each race of Elanthia.


You look closely at Jolena, examining a curvaceous black sylvan corselet. Lined with soft crimson silk for comfort, the corselet has been crafted for stealth as well as comfort. Magnificent tailoring and well-oiled sturdy leather attest to the importance it holds in its owner's eyes and contributes to keeping the wearer safe as well as assuring silence in movement. Intricate sylvan runes of protection are etched upon the rigid surface, and an intricately-detailed modwir tree with branches spread protectively is tooled onto the right shoulder pauldron.


You look closely at Jolena, examining a ruby red eahnor wedding ring. Expertly wrought, the band of this ring is molded to resemble a leaf-like pattern in all the hues of an autumn sunset. Tapping into almost every shade to be found in a flame, from the deepest crimson to the fairest orange, each delicate leaf has been shaded and highlighted with meticulous care. The fiery display winds its way up to a flawless white moonstone, melding itself perfectly into the band as though the ice-like stone supports, rather than battles, the fiery band.


Jolena shows you a blooming moonflower tattoo.
An amazingly detailed moonflower in full bloom has been inked just to the left of the navel, its delicate blossoms spread out and upwards as if worshipping the full opalescent moon above it. The blossoms have been inked in a moonlight silver color, with soft shadowy streaks of shimmering midnight blue ink along the edges and several golden pollen covered stalks springing forth from the middle of the flower daintily. "Zrenigotham" has been inked in scrawling midnight blue script across the moon.

the other tatt is a bit on the personal side and hidden under her pantaloons, otherwise I'd show it.

Two lengths of flowing silk, dyed a subtle eburnean color, have been loosely stitched together with shimmering silver thread. Tailored so that the multiple layers fall in deep folds of silk, the wrap almost appears pleated when draped over the shoulders and forearms. Delicate lace, a shade lighter in color then the silk, has been stitched along the bottom edge for an added draping effect.

Gown is from that automated thingamajigger on the WD.

Slippers are off the shelf from the WD.

Have I mentioned how much I LOVED the WD? hehe.

The exterior of the shield displays masterfully etched runes of magical protection encircling a lone wolf. Elegance shows you a shadowy ebon vaalorn-tasse corselet, which she is wearing. Attached along the bottom is the tasse made of wide strips of crimson-edged vaalorn-linked chain, forming an open-pleat skirt. The armor, dyed to a deep shadowy ebon, is offset by shades of silver. Tiny brilliant faceted diamonds inset onto the skirt seem to illuminate in comparison. You also notice a small enchanter's glyph.

Elegance shows you some crimson edged ebony gloves, which she is wearing. These gloves are crafted from the softest, most supple jet black leather possible. Designed to extend just past the wrist, these gloves afford a snug and comfortable fit. On the topside, a pure white wolf is beautifully sewn in silver thread, its amber eyes gazing up at the moon.

Elegance shows you a low-cut black suede bodice trimmed with tiny black diamonds and laced tightly with soft cream colored ribbon

Elegance shows you a scaled black leather skirt, which she is wearing. This skirt is fashioned from layers upon layers of black leather scales. The unrefined waistline is worn comfortably about the hips with the front dipping slightly at the center. A single burnished silver stud adorns each individual piece of leather, which is subsequently used to fasten it to the scale below.

Elegance shows you an elegant intertwined belt, which she is wearing. Lengths of the softest ebon leather have been intricately braided to form this fine belt. Two small pockets have been cleverly concealed within the braid work to hold small items. Fastening the belt is a polished gold buckle inset with a perfect black diamond carved into the shape of a lone wolf.

You see a glittering black diamond tear sliding down the cheek, its liquid edges lost in the deep brown hues of skin. Sparkling pools of onyx chase the diamond down her cheek, leaving a trail of twinkling stars fading from her eye. On further examination, you can see the diamonds forming in the corner of her eye.

Okay, here's Lysistrata dressed for a trip up north. She doesn't usually wear much blue, but I saw this cotehardie in Odysia's shop, I think it was, and had to have it. The rest are my own designs.

She appears to be young and average height. She has subtly shadow-rimmed contrasting grey and black eyes and fair skin. She has long, perfectly straight deep scarlet hair swept smoothly back from a sharp widow's peak. She has a delicate face and high cheekbones.

She is wearing a delicate black diamond choker, a shoulder-pinned black leather mantle lined with plush white fox fur, a side-laced slim cobalt chainsil cotehardie with pointed sleeves, and some black silk pointy-toed slippers.

Choker:
Three thumbnail-sized black diamonds, separated by tiny dark ruby beads, are strung on a slender filament of platinum.

With a color reminiscent of thunder clouds, the fabric of this gown is sewn with hundreds of tiny jet beads that appear to fall like black raindrops along the skirt. The luxurious grey satin closely hugs the body of the wearer to accentuate feminine curves while the corset-style bodice helps create a sleek silhouette. The narrow skirt is split to the thigh and lined with sheer silk for comfort.

She has a tattooed symbol of Imaera on her arm, a golden leaf tattoo on her neck, and some gold oak leaf-shaped rings set along the slender tips of her pointed ears.
She is in good shape.
She is wearing a cedar-inset gold leaf symbol, a flowing black Ardenai silk cloak, a leaf-shaped Ardenai insignia, a leaf-crested rolaren weapon harness, a topaz-clasped black leather backsack, a spiked black elven hauberk, a leaf-etched rolaren bracelet, a gold ring, and some black leather boots.

Threads of deep black leather have been woven through the fabric to reinforce the delicate silk of this cloak. A pair of miniature topaz-hilted silver falchions crossed together clasp the cloak at the neck, while a stitched pattern of forest green oak leaves adorns the hem. The inside of the garment has been layered with a deep green leaf-patterned silk.

This weapon harness appears to be made with great skill and care. Threads of rolaren are woven through, lending strength and durability to the material. The flap of the harness, clasped with an oak leaf-shaped emerald reminiscent of the House Ardenai, is stitched with a golden sheaf of grain on a field of green.

>l backsack
The inside of the backsack is lined with a deep green leaf-patterned silk and encloses a surprising amount of space within. The silk has been tailored from top to bottom with interlocking pockets of all shapes and sizes. Many of the pockets have various amounts of padding to help keep even the most delicate treasure safe. The leather flap of the backsack is clasped with a leaf-shaped sparkling golden topaz.

The hauberk is crafted from blackened rolaren-chased rings which present no reflection of light. Well oiled interlinked rings reduce the noise of movement and give the armor the distinctive smell of a well maintained piece of equipment. The sleeves have been cleverly tailored to prevent binding or pulling when the wearer moves in combat and rolton wool padding lines the inside of the hauberk, providing some comfort for the wearer. You also notice a small enchanter's glyph.

>l brace
You see your bracelet. Miniature golden herbs sprout from a pair of deep green entwined vines which encircle this bracelet. Each herb has been etched in fine detail, making it possible to recognize a wide variety of flora, many represented in multiple stages of life. Nestled between the vines on one side of the bracelet is a large, sparkling golden topaz engraved with a green oak leaf. A simple golden leaf marks either end of a short elven script written around the inside of the bracelet.
It is surrounded by a scintillating light.

>l boots
The soft, worn leather of these boots has been dyed black and is attached to the thicker soles by thin black strips of rolaren. The boot's clasps are comprised of a small piece of rolaren shaped into a leaf and embedded with a golden topaz. Lining the inside of each boot is deep green, leaf-patterned silk into which is sewn a pocket big enough to hide a small blade.

The gold ink of this leaf is surrounded by an emerald ink border. Veins of a darker green are woven into the leaf, drawn down to a point at the bottom of the leaf and ending in the stem. In the middle of the leaf in very small lettering is the word, "Kuon".
