He is wearing a split-backed incarnadine longcoat, a close-fitting white formal silk shirt, some black alloy vambraces, some caliginous coraesine bands, some jet black breeks, and a pair of steel heeled boots.

Meant to be worn on opposite hands the convoluted bands of metal seem to have been dyed a peculiar calignous hue. The malignation is deepest around a flawed black opal formed into an eyeless skull, and the second band sports a darkened heliodor could only have been the result of the continued exposure to hundreds, if not thousands of sorcerous incantations. A bluish colored inscription runs along the first band while a reddish has been incised into the second.

They have to be converted to the 'over front' slow via the bowl in the general store, and then it's a matter of sorting them. I think the 'over front' part has to be sorted after the item you want it layered over.

an ebon silk flare-collared shirt: Cut from smooth ebon-hued silk, the garment is crafted with miniscule pleats that run from the shoulders to the cuff of the billowed sleeves, while polished electrum links secure the cuffs. The collar is flared and features the same glistening metal for the buttons on its points as well as the line down the front.

a jade-bisected pale mistwood band: Golden mistwood is carved into a wide band, with the spiraled grain burnished to a lustrous sheen interrupted only by a circle of jade. The jade directly bisects the center, providing a contrast against the pale wood. Darker tendrils of verdant hue wind through the paler green, reminiscent of the delicate tracery of veins in a newly-unfurled sephwir leaf. Etched along the inside of the band are a series of tiny letters in a graceful, looping script.

an ebon-swept wide plum silk sash: Glistening ebon threads are woven into the rich plum silk, creating sweep undertones of shadowy black that creep through the fabric languidly. The sash is crafted of one long, and wide, piece of silk that wraps around the waist twice and ties at the hip with an obsidian cabochon for the clasp. Small, reinforced black loops line the interior to allow weapons to be slipped into the sash - displaying the hilt and bottom half of longer weapons, or concealing smaller ones entirely depending on preference.


an eahnor inlaid cordovan swordbelt: Crafted with a skillful subtlety, the luxurious cordovan leather is clearly of the highest quality. The attached scabbard, made from a piece of carved ivory, is an exquisite piece in its own right. Depicting a night sky, the carved ivory has been shaded with great care, making stars and clouds clearly visible. Worked in beautiful jade-hued eahnor, the key celestial body of this piece is a raven perched within a crescent moon, its head tilted as it gazes into the distance.

Translucent amber beads are honey-hued spacers placed between a pair of red-tipped blackbird feathers dangling from the edge of the drawstring. Irregularly shaped beads of petrified wood, wrought by time and nature, adorn the sturdy leather thong used to tie the satchel to a belt.

It's all mostly off the shelf, with the torc being stolen from a guild heirloom task and the bracelets from the recent Lumnis festival. The cloak is her current summer one for the season, though it's one of her least -really- practical items. You don't spend 99% of your time in the deep forest wearing gossamer and expect it not to get trashed.

Veins of obsidian sweep through the pale silver metal, streaking it with an ebony sheen that creates an almost charred appearance. A row of narrow eahnor hooks serve to secure the piece around the neck.

Threadbare and blackened from searing burns, the cassock is now nearly ruined. Woven bits of the original ebon-hued silk fabric still hold up despite the obvious mistreatment of the garment. The hem, however, has suffered much damage and its remnant is little more than tattered strips that whip about in the slightest breeze.

The majority of the garment is in heavy disarray, with serious scuffing and wear covering the fabric. Tatters hang at its hem and edges among wisps of frayed fabric and thread.

The vambraces have been cold forged from bluish-black mithglin and run from the wrist up past the elbow ending in a scythe-like curve. Engraved upon the surface are tiny gruesome figures engaged in an epic battle. One prominant figure, still untouched by the pitting covering most of the surface, shows a face twisted in a cruel sneer of rage and hatred. Hoisted above his head a small childlike form hangs limply, dripping what can only be construed as blood upon the ground.

These ripped pants are poorly crafted from a scratchy wool material dyed a deep black hue. The stitching running up one leg is deep crimson, and the other mismatched leg sports thread that is faded silver. A few places have become slightly more worn out than others, mostly along the front of the thighs and the area where one would sit. Numerous tiny slashes and spots of dried blood mar the entire surface of this garment. The bottom of each pant leg ends in a wide boot cut with a tattered fringe.

look chausses
Crudely forged from bluish-black mithglin, the chausses come to dull points at each pieces' tip. A matching floating poleyn provides protection for the knees of the wearer. Running the length of the chausses' shin plates are sharpened mithril flanges.

These sturdy boots are well used, scuffed and splattered with the detritus of years of battle. They look like they're broken in and very comfortable. You also notice a small enchanter's glyph.

At the neckline, a circular crest containing an onyx rose on a field of jade serves as an anchor for the garment's fluid embrace.

shirt: Made of the softest linen, the loose fit of this beautifully crafted shirt is designed for freedom of movement and serves to keep the wearer cool. Black leather laces run through brushed silver eyelets up the front, spreading open as they reach the relaxed collar. The ends of the sleeves are held together with adjustable leather straps, where twin dagger sheaths are barely visible on the underside of each wrist. Embroidered on each of the cuffs is a small cracked white skull.

armor: This form-fitting suit of armor is secured to the body with a complex network of leather straps that wrap tight around the limbs and across the torso. Each of the many straps is clasped securely with a finely crafted urglaes buckle. The armor has been meticulously cared for and yet still shows signs of wear. You also notice a small enchanter's glyph.

Rose (transporter) : You see your rose. Half-bloomed from the emerald stem where two faceted leaves rest is a rose, carefully crafted from smooth smoky glaes. Silver wire has been painstakingly set into each thin petal along the edges, and inner area to create the thin veins, each one mimicking life almost perfectly. A spun silver stickpin is set into the back and capped with a small obsidian bead, preventing harm when worn.

Where it has caught on passing twigs and briars, deep scratches score the thick cloth of the hem of this sturdy cloak, which is an amalgam of subtle but vibrant golds and greens. When raised, the deep hood would enshadow the wearer's visage. Twin clasps at either shoulder secure the cloak to the wearer's armor and keep it swept back off the arms to grant freedom of movement. A triangular fox's head surrounded by briars is stitched upon the upper left breast.

This half-mask combines elegant lines and macabre form in a striking composition. Bands of glaes mimic the curve of cheekbones, swept back to the hairline, where the glaes splits. One section bows high over the brow, and the other is made to slide into the hair to hold the piece in place. An elongated diamond of glaes creates the nosepiece, spiking over the forehead and bisecting the lips. Dozens of delicate silver chains cascade in a curtain from the cheek-bands, concealing the lower face from view.

Overrobe: Sewn from translucent organza with a faint silvery cast to it, the over robe falls in graceful, unfettered pleats to an ankle-length hem. The edges of the garment are shot through with darker metallic silver threads forming an elaborate pattern of feathery filigree against the lighter hue of the background fabric.

Talisman: You see your talisman. A moss agate serves as the central focus of the talisman, encased in an intricate silver mesh, which forms a brilliant cage of lustrous hues. The silver arcs and swirls in complex patterns, cradling the agate within glistening sickle-like curves. Inside the clear stone, feathery tendrils of dark green and pale brown resemble stringy bits of moss imprisoned in a pebble made of ice.

Blouse: Tailored to rest low upon the shoulders and back, the simple blouse features a feathery pattern woven into the fine, pale batiste silk. Slender ivory ribbons, subtly contrasting with the hue of the shirt, weave through burnished silver grommets along the neckline and the hem of the gathered sleeves. A carved ivory gardenia, positioned to call attention to the shoulder blades of the wearer, clasps the garment at the back.

Ring: Crafted from pure silver, the narrow band is inlaid with a circle of pale ivory. Imbedded within the ivory are tiny shards of amethyst which outline the shape of a stylized gardenia in full bloom.

Pendant: With the hue of an ebon sky, the chain is composed of dozens of crescent-cut onyx links. Each link is lightly peppered with the tiniest pips of inset vaalin, leaving each looking like a night sky in miniature. The stone hanging from it, however, is the clear focus of the piece. Contained within a miniature cage wrought of a tiny webwork of carved onyx, a star-like fusion of pearlescent vaalin winds its way around a carefully carved diamond core ending in eight delicate points.

Corset: Reminiscent of snakeskin, the corset carries a faint oily shimmer. Constructed on a buttery soft white suede base, the entirety of this garment has been covered with a layer of fine iridescent white vaalin scales. Thin enough to flex under slight pressure, it is pliable enough to allow a wearer to move with ease. Carefully concealed underneath the scales, tiny matching vaalin grommets allow the corset to be conspicuously laced from the back with white suede cords.

Bag:A bright arc of flowering jasmine surrounds the mouth of this small bag, which has been dyed the color of newly-turned earth. The silver bramble patterning echoes itself in pirouettes and spirals over the surface of the bag, artfully imitating the natural curves of a living vine.

Sandals:The sandals are raised on small, triangular black moonstone heels which support slim, glossy copper soles. They hold the foot in place with four inch-wide horizontal jet suede straps connected down the center by a single half-inch-wide vertical strap. The vertical strap finishes at a fifth strap which encircles the ankle, and each of the straps are covered with evenly-spaced pointed square copper studs.

Bracelet:This bracelet is made out of silver, streaked slightly with a light green, resembling the color of a glowbark tree. The branch like ends of this elegant piece of jewelery coils several times around the wearer's wrist. A ghostly blue leaf sits ontop of a thin silver ring, connected to the rest of the bracelet by a gleaming silver-linked chain.

quiver : Cut from stiff pieces of ebon-dyed leather, the quiver and sheath have been bound together by thin dark blue doeskin straps fastened with small mithglin buckles. Lining the interior of the sheath is thickly woven wool dyed to match the straps, while supple doeskin of a dark silvery hue pads the inside of the quiver. A wide strap runs from the opening of the quiver to run across the chest and ends at the bottom of the sheath, a flat mithglin buckle resting down near the hip aids in adjusting the length.

longcoat : Tailored from midnight blue and ebon marbrinus, the longcoat falls to rest at the ankles with a long split up the back. Smoky glaes cinches run up the front and at the cuffs, fastening the longcoat securely and ensuring a close fit. Dark incarnadine lining peeks out from the short, stiff collar and turned back cuffs, while a small stitched symbol of a cracked skull sits at the back of the neck below the collar in glossy thread.

shirt : Fashioned from soft black linen, the shirt is made to fit flush to the skin and laced at the neck with thin silk cording. Bracer-like cuffs reach from the wrists to the elbows and are tied with matching cords, the upper part of the sleeves left to blouse out slightly. A twisted mithglin pin inset with a small moonstone sits at the short collar, the blue-veined metal lining the cut stone into the shape of a crescent moon.

kit : Thin, smooth pieces of black mithglin are plated over stiffened darkly finished leather, each piece of the kit connected by waxed bowstring laced through brushed damascene grommets. Clasping the kit on either side are tiny nacre crescent moons, each one clipped carefully to the body. Adorning the lid are small slivers of radiant glowbark that fall into the design of a full grown glowbark tree, silver leaf inlay is placed along the edges to give it depth and more reality.

I can't say I'm incredibly happy about this. It's nearly word for word. Come on. Edited to add that I realize I don't play anymore but I still post here. This is more than a little disrespectful to my intelligence and the effort I put into making my designs when I did play.

You don't think it's a big deal and actually neither do I, since I don't even play anymore. I'm not in a rage or crying my eyes out. I am displeased about it, though. It's a principle type thing.

And why is it that when anyone acknowledges displeasure on the internet, they're throwing a fit? I can't see anyone else through the computer and they can't see me. They can't hear the tone of my voice nor I theirs. If I do not say, "I think this is wrong. This makes me unhappy." how will the other person know? Maybe it upsets me more than it would others as an old English major, a field where copying is the ultimate taboo.

Acknowledgment would be nice. Notice would have been good. Permission would have been best. I'm not completely sure why you think that's something wrong, Zuie.

Ah, I think I see where we differ. I wouldn't even care if it was just the image. It isn't uncommon at all. It's the words. I've got a love for prose and I worked on mine to find pleasing cadences and evocative imagery for my alters. That's all.

You're right DCSL and I apologise, I should have added that I was inspired by a design I'd seen on these boards. I didn't think to ask for permission because 1. it was a design from a few years back and 2. it was shown by several posters so it wasn't clear as to who the original designer was in the first place.

I will add too, that I've seen some of my designs repeated by others in game and it didn't upset me, it actually made me feel quite proud. Each to their own I guess but I again I'm sorry if you were upset by it.

Scripture : Intricately detailed ancient tribal symbols and scriptures sinuously twine and spiral in a detailed design which tells of an extensive journey. Framing the middle of the back, the design is inked in the color of a moonless night sky, with alternating widths and lengths and the word "Zrenigotham" is inked in the middle of it all in elegant scroll.

Rogue : A slender human rogue, her long scarlet hair flying out behind her as she leaps out in a powerful ambush against her foe, is inked carefully along his shoulder. The sylvan blade in her hands has been inked in silvery detail and slashes across her foe's neck as her green and blue eyes stare it down with a predatory look. An amazingly realistic backdrop of a snow-covered mountain is inked behind the woman, its towering ice-capped peaks almost engulfing her petite yet athletic form.

Regal : Clothed in an elegant ivory gown, the woman stands in a proud manner with her head raised, bringing attention to a pale wooden choker around her neck. A slender gold chain is attached and draped down her figure to connect to twin pale wood wristlets, and her mismatched blue and green eyes gaze adoringly upward in her pose. Streaks of scarlet and dark ebon ink combine to create the maple hue of her shoulder-length hair, contrasting deeply with the delicate hue of her skin.

Several gauzy, cerise-hued lacework scarves are knotted about the hips, with despanal jewels strewn about their trailing lengths. Barely visible on the inside material are a pair of silver hook-and-eye clasps, which when hooked, invisibly assist the scarves in the garment's closure.

The rich, black hue of the obsidian overshadows creamy vaalin veins striated throughout the band, lending it a smoky appearance. An overlapping pattern of leaves is engraved into metal and stone, the detailing so intricate that each spine, vein, and stem is clearly discernable. Inset within a small recess, an oval-cut emerald provides a striking splash of color, and the intaglio of a modwir tree is etched deep within the gem, its branches bare, as if the leaves upon the band had tumbled from its limbs.

Circlet: Bisected into two main sections, the circlet is comprised of extremely narrow, delicate silver chains that drape over the head when worn. The middle of three chains is made to drape over the scalp, with the other two cascading on the sides behind the ears. A fourth section of chain drapes from the sides to connect them in the back, while a single short length drapes over the forehead in the middle, suspending a singular loop of metal that cradles a flawless blue sapphire.

I know the sapphire doesn't match with the outfit, but it's a mana enhancer and it's supposed to be the one in her picture (see my sig).

A myriad of leaves are carved into the wood, the grain lending them further depth as they wrap around the piece.

Pale grey weeping willow leaves and vibrant, iridescent blue kingfisher feathers float within the silken watery depths, loosely bound in a knot or tucked just beneath the surface. The silk-bound garland has 45 things woven into it, among which you see one strip of natural raw silk, many grey-tinged weeping willow leaves and many iridescent blue kingfisher feathers.

I came as The Huntress and told a brief summary of her history, assisted by the animated cameos from Omokai's shop. It's never brought up in any accounts I've read, but I added in a lovely touch with her slicing off one of Arachne's fangs, just to feature my Deeamos dagger - "a carved spider fang-shaped spike"

Pure white leather has been molded and hardened into the features of a beautiful woman. The left-hand side of the mask expresses a singularly stern and angered demeanor with a furrowed brow and taut lips. A stylized scythe crescent and haft silhouette edge the side of her eye. The features give way to the right-hand side, seemingly filled with remorse as though suffering infinite betrayal, with a teardrop cut lapis stone set under the eye slit.

You glance at your back-scabbard. Well-oiled, supple leather has been double-layered to provide a sturdy container for its contents. An etched niello clasp is mounted on the front of the scabbard. Set in the clasp's exact center is a white starstone, chiseled into an eight-pointed star. Immediately beneath, the words "Krrska's Light" have been burned into the leather.

Acid-etched detailing adorns the length of the polished snaith, save for the two rigidly textured grips. At the upper end of the shaft, the glaes has been carefully molded and forged into the shape of a stylistically slender female form holding a small eight-pointed star towards the sky. Miniature lapis stones are set for eyes, and her glaesine hair, given a light ruby dusting, flows back into a long curved arc, fading into a near translucent cutting edge.

Rolaren links coated with a shining silver enamel are masterfully crafted into a fine, fitted mesh designed to conform to the wearer's body. Several of the links, retaining their original deep blue-black hue, form the shape of an eight-pointed star along the flat of the back.

As you tap the desert altar cameo in your white gold necklace, the scene of an arid desert altar comes to life with the realistic motion of skittering brown spinners around the figure of a woman, before becoming motionless again.

Cut and hewn from a solid piece of obsidian, this arched spike has a thick and jagged base wrapped in a tattered blood-red cloth. Small notches are cut in pairs, leaving a roughly beveled surface to appear almost coarse and hairy. A sickly poison green glaze coats the tip of the blade.

Altered the cloak and corset but just changed the fabric on the gown. I changed the color of her eyes with off the shelf dye and I like it a lot better this way.

Corset: Lined with soft ebon velvet for a comfortable fit, swathes of snakeskin tinted the hue of a winter night coalesce into the slender corset fit to flatter a small, slender frame. Bones of pristine mithglin reinforce the strong hourglass shape, while the metal's dark blue-swirled blacks impart an almost ethereal quality resembling that of many twinkling stars in the cold night sky.
