You can get chignon with hair-altering hairsticks anyway, so don't get your features altered into that. I know of at least two people who did that before the hair-altering stuff came out and kicked themselves afterwards. Anyway, the hairsticks look like this:

Expertly etched just above the ornate silver tsuba is the sinuous figure of a great sea serpent, the leviathan's maw opened in a silent cry. Deep turquoise silken cord is wound tightly around the hilt in the traditional Erithian way, leaving diamond-shaped openings to display the white ray-skin that covers the wood underneath. The end-cap is wrought of silver and is graven with a single Erithian rune.

Braided cords of navy blue silk entwine the perfectly round beads of sea blue painted agate and square pieces of blue-banded coquina shell to create the intricate weave customary to the Nathala dai. The softer material used to craft the darkened leather boots provides adequate room for the comfort of the wearer. Four ridges at the ankle taper up to a tighter fit around the calf and extend to a wider finish. The boots feature an overturned cuff, finished with slender crimson laces that are tied securely at the back of the knee.

This grisly weapon is born more of brutal utility than any aspiration toward beauty; that much is clear from the gruesome etchings adorning its smooth-worn haft of dark maoral. Inlaid garnets and onyx shards form jagged-edged patterns down the shaft of wood, culminating in a twisted wrought iron claw clutching a heart-shaped selanthian bloodjewel. Uneven, carmine-lacquered spikes protrude from the rough-forged orb at the weapon's striking end. You also notice a small enchanter's glyph.

Woven with close attention to symmetry, this wide-brimmed hat is designed to protect the wearer equally from either too much sun or too much rain. Thin, flexible rush strips comprise the smooth outer edge and base frame through which thicker rush strips are woven in an even pattern. Narrow, vertical slits are woven into a small rectangular section of the brim, allowing some vision when pulled over the eyes. Two dark blue silk cords, attached to the underside, serve as a chin strap when tied.

A gold detailed crane surrounded by seven stars has been carved into blackened agate and inset into the kashira of the katana, while thin ray fish skin has been wrapped around the tsuka. Forged of matte, deep black razern streaked with blue, the curved blade has been etched with a spiral pattern of stars that trails down the length of the blade from the intricate tsuba. Along the blade's keen edge, dark indigo script reads, "Moonless Night."

I've said so elsewhere, but the katana isn't my design; it was a raffled item. In fact, the only altered pieces are the hat and the scabbard, which I'm using mainly because this vatanura isn't one of the Graeme katana scripted ones with "built in" scabbards.

Those wings are great. You should see about adding something to your clothes to account for them, if you haven't. Slits in the back of your dress and cloak, maybe some thick robes to keep you from getting cold, and so forth.

A forest green glimaerstone inlaid with a tiny gold leaf is positioned between her eyes, which casts a sparkling gold sheen across her face.
She has an inked spiral of bronze tendrils tightly coiled upon each temple, and a rose-twined ebony key tattoo on her neck.
She is in good shape.
She is wearing an orb-inset haon talisman, a layered chainsil mantle permeated with a melange of fiery autumnal hues, a sheer silk gauze sylvan surcote over a finely-pleated verdant silk bliaut with flowing sleeves hung from carved ivory armbands, a gold-veined ring of overlapping green amber haon leaves, and some pale green silk slippers traced with veins of copper.

Talisman (customized deity symbol from EG): Couched within the embrace of five circles, their outer tips curved up slightly so that the entire piece creates a larger circle, is a glass orb. Each of the circles is created from thinly sheared, pure gold worked into a delicate lace pattern and then laid over a haon base. Despite their rich quality, the circles are but a secondary to the orb, which is etched with the subtle image of a drake. Within the orb, lazily swirling over several words that are only intermittently visible, resides a grey fog.

Surcoat: Delicately shimmering silk strands have been woven loosely into the fine gauze comprising this light and airy garment. I may have to dig up my Erithi love soon!

I had to compromise on the wakizashi; apparently, the parts of blades like "tsuba" are no longer allowed - which is silly, in my opinion, if you're going to use the Japanese words for the weapons themselves. Still, overall, I'm pleased.

I know it's only September, but I'm already feeling autumnal.

She appears to be a Sylvankind of the Fresiawn D'ahranal.
She is shorter than average and appears to be very young. She has wide periwinkle blue eyes and fair skin. She has unruly, flaxen hair plaited into two braids with some faint ivory hair ribbons woven through them. The freckle-dusted tips of her pointed ears stick out from beneath her hair.
She is in good shape.
She is wearing a very thin silk shawl dyed the color of maoral wood, a matte ivory instrument case slung over her shoulder, a natural-hued supple doeskin bodice over a loose soft ivory linen shirt, a belt of maoral plaques linked by two thin leather cords, some low-slung dark brown linen pants, and a pair of ivory suede half boots with soft soles.

Pieces of ivory interlock across the surface of the leather instrument case, giving an additional layer of protection for its intended fragile contents. Each irregularly shaped segment bears a different woodland motif. The largest, which covers most of the lid, shows a young doe crouched beneath a broad-limbed tree, while simpler images like a soaring hawk and a single twisted leaf grace the smaller fragments. The only unadorned portion of the case is a padded suede shoulder strap.

Forged from pure mithril, the broad crescent blade gleams with the same silver-blue hue as a glowbark leaf. Smaller shards of the metal chase the haon haft with decorative flames only a few shades darker than the pale wood. As they near the leather-wrapped grip, the flames grow more frequent, overlapping into a conflagration. Tiny letters, inlaid in sharply contrasting scarlet eahnor, spell out the name, "Wildfire." You notice a small enchanter's glyph and Reallia's crafting mark.

Back-pendant:
A small black scorpion has been captured in clear, solid glaes, forever poised to strike. The glaes has been shaped into a faceted jewel, with the center facet large enough to allow a view of the creature unobstructed. Tentacles of silver filigree clutch the glaes jewel, matching the long lariat-style chain that suspends it to dangle almost to the small of the back of the wearer.

Tattoo:
The stylized scorpion tattoo spreads over her entire back, a glistening deep black color just barely distinguishable against the darkness of her skin. The wicked-looking pincers positioned over her shoulders and the sharp stinger at her tailbone have been rendered in a complex knotwork style, giving them a fiery appearance.

Choker:
Strung on a thin, crudely braided sinew cord is a long line of sharp, yellowed crocodile teeth. Each tooth is unusually large and long, attesting to the size of the beast that once owned them.

Bracer:
You glance at your bracer. The bronze portion of the bracer is a rather simple affair, just a hammered sheet of darkly burnished metal curved to fit the forearm. Four leather strips hold the bracer tight to the arm, with pieces of carved red-black glaes on each strap. The glaes fits together like puzzle pieces, fastening the bracer and forming four translucent stylized scorpion shapes.

Tube:
Simple in its design, a long thigh bone has been cut and hollowed, then thoroughly cleaned and bleached. Blood-red velvet lines the tube to protect and cushion the scrolls. A thin leather thong is tied around the femur to allow it to be fastened to the wearer's belt.

Yes, that's really all she wears, save adding armor sometimes. She's got a couple different loincloths she switches through, but that's it.

Four completely unadorned crystal rings are bound together by snowy white silken threads to create a base for another ring, which rests at the center. You see your talisman. Pieces of jade and onyx are set into background of pale faewood to form this talisman, strung from a simple knotted leather cord. The tiles of jade have been cleverly placed around the outside of the onyx shards, defining the edges and forming the image of a stylized onyx rose against the green jade background. The narrow faewood frame which encompasses the gem shards appears to be carved with a random pattern, but upon closer inspection resolves into a repeating pattern of tiny roses.

It is surrounded by a scintillating light.

Tiny bells adorn the tips of the phoenix's curling tail feathers, all of which are brushed with wispy strokes of metallic gold and silver paint. Violet and blue sapphires adorn the outstretched wings while swirls of golden moonstones on the body give the mythical bird an iridescent quality. A pair of thin cylinders is cleverly concealed under the tail and easily coaxed into a sweet sound.

Molded to follow the gentle contours of the face, the thin silver mask has been decorated with sweeping arcs and whorls of violet, green and blue sapphires that accentuate the tilted shape of the eye holes and define the soft curvature of the cheekbones. A radiant cabochon of golden moonstone rests in the shallow hollow at the top of the mask to perfectly align with the centre of the forehead when worn and from which erupts an extravagant flourish of tiered blue-toned plumage.

Shadowy flecks of darker fur add contrast and depth to the otherwise pristine white pelts and small ebonwood toggles serve as fasteners down the entire length to envelop the wearer in a cocoon of warm luxury.

Mounted on a narrow band of silver is a large bloodjewel teardrop, its translucent red edges darkening to a nearly black core. The stone itself is an impressive size, measuring almost an inch long, the tip seeming to lean over slightly in relation to the rest of the gem. A natural fracture runs through the center and resembles a dagger when turned into the light.

Based upon an inner band of steel, the ring is sheathed in a bubbly skin of clear glass. Closer inspection allows view of the metal from the outside, the material shining with rainbow hues of intense heat. The glass emits a bit of sparkle from the bubbles trapped within, also lending to the novelty that it was rapidly heated and then cooled before being coupled with the steel frame.

This oversized ring is in the shape of the exterior edge of a spiraling nautilus shell, designed to fit along the entire ear and down the lobe. Subtle hints of saffron and nacre detail the bronze, giving it a natural, yet clearly manufactured appearance.

Hardened through cure boiling processes, this cropped taupe leather waistcoat is heavily bound through the abdomen and collarbone with heavy bronze catchbolt fasteners, leaving the chest open. The waistline mimics a basque design, gently terminating down to a narrowed point while resting high enough to remain comfortable. The material closes across the neck like a wide choker bound in the front with a solid bronze ring toggle.

Each segmented leg is hinged along regular intervals to move freely with every tactile motion.

Composed of two layers, a cut-out taupe leather stitched over a solid ashen black silk, these shoulder-length gloves are an eclectic combination of rich elegance and rustic workmanship. The harder leather is cut out at squared-off angles to reveal the soft underlying material with bronzed fittings along the upper arm. The material is closed at the fingertips, graduating from the taupe brown hue into a matching greyish black.

You glance at your belt. This matte taupe leather belt is wide enough that two parallel bands of oiled mahogany leather are riveted to its length with bronzed links connecting their terminal ends to a single thick ring bound in the center like a decorative buckle. The back is cinched with corset-style lacing, allowing the belt to be worn snug and high on the waist or hanging loosely along the hip. Resting on either hip are overlapping folds of calfskin cinched into expansive sheaths.

This supple brown calfskin harness is loosely bound, the material barely coming to a full close on one of the vertical lengths. To keep the enclosed weapon secure, a quartet of bronze-buckled straps lines the back edge, each piece of metal acid-etched in elaborate scrollwork. A single vertical strap of reddish mahogany runs down the edge, intersecting each strap through a thick brushed copper ring.

Crafted from rich reddish-brown mahogany suede, these tall-heeled boots have a characteristically straight shaft reaching to knee-length. Accenting the design is a series of eight bronze-buckled belt straps of darker brown crocodile hide, each one crossing over the others in a haphazard pattern. The dark fel heels are scored with horizontal bands of a lighter vanilla hue, while the rounded toes sit upon covered platforms. Elegantly engraved inside the boots is the name 'Laphrael Miran'ta'.

This lightweight crossbow is built upon a stock of polished reddish-brown oak, contoured downward to fit comfortably in a single hand's grip, with a hinged steel lathe that can be folded down when not in use. A blunted bronze tube serves as a bolt channel with slits on either side for the bowstring to pass through unimpeded, while a delicate vaalin reticule sits at the end. A tiny hand-winch along the side connects to a series of gears that draw back on the bowstring with a retracting string-lock. You also notice a small enchanter's glyph.

You see a copper-banded elongated heavy crossbow which is not cocked.
This crossbow is built upon a solid stock of dark reddish ruic with a contrasting lacquered black walnut butt. A dull enlongated bronze tube with a sliding entry panel serves as a bolt channel. Slits on the top and bottom serve as a point for the vertically-mounted bowstring to pass through unimpeded. A string catch is mounted on the side of the hollowed barrel that retracts with a stiff crank wench. A black crocodile leather strap is attached to the stock so it can be worn over the shoulder.

A single faceted topaz winks from the eye of the delicately etched stag that spreads its antlers in profile across the smoothed backdrop.

Satchel: Woven from strips of fine doeskin leather, each in a varying hue of black, the satchel is reminiscent of the coming shadows of twilight. Stitched inside are pockets of various sizes, each lined with silver fur to protect their contents. On the side are embroidered ten diamond-inset silver stars, positioned to perfectly resemble the constellation known as The Guardian.

Cloak: The cloak's heavy fabric is patterned with a curvilinear design of interwoven knotwork. The whorls and shapes are raised in a faint silver, barely distinguishable from the base color of dark, pewter grey. A simple silver sickle, hammered and faintly patinated black, clasps the cloak at the left shoulder. Matching dark metal threading binds the two identical slits on the garment's back.

The subtle changes in foliation end with the image of a silvery leaf skeleton in the palm of her hand, marking the end of nature's seasonal cycle.

Fine strands of silver and ora twist and turn in a seemingly random pattern to form a full finger length ring, cleverly jointed at the knuckles to allow for flexibility when worn. When turned into the light, the juxtaposition of shine and shadow reveals the semblance of a phoenix bathed in a perpetual caress of frozen flames, the elusive outline of its body rising from the fabled ashes to take flight.

Each of these opaque stockings extend to thigh-length and are trimmed at the top with a wide band of coppery lace. Dots of electrum mark a perfectly straight line down the back seam to end with the outline of curling autumnal leaves traced in faenor and copper flecks at the heel.

A sooty grey fan-tailed kestrel glides slowly through the air, an occasional beat of her wings maintaining her momentum.

Hovering effortlessly high overhead, the diminutive raptor tilts her outstretched pointed wings slightly to maintain her intense scrutiny of the area below. Silently swooping low, the sooty-grey tinged bars on her long tail and underwing coverts become visible, a soft contrast to the striking rust and warm chestnut brown coloring of her flight feathers.

She is wearing an oversized bleached mammoth fur mantle with thickly matted layers, a silvery-grey moire silk coat, a voluminous grey-white coyote fur and suede tote slung over her shoulder, a wide crocheted cream cotton and beige suede corset over a niveous cable-knit wool sweater tunic with a high slouching fur collar, a deep sable fel sewing kit lacquered to a brilliant shine, and some gathered over-the-knee stockings of thick vanilla mohair under some tall snowy white yeti fur boots.

This three-quarter length coat is fashioned from silvery-grey moire silk and lined with pure white fox fur that breaches the cuffs and neckline in wildly oversized accents. The wide flaring hemline contrasts the narrowed waist, bound down the front with a short column of polished and blunted sabertooth canines. Dangling from each side of the collar is a short silk cord, each one accented with a fluffy pom-pom of uncombed ivory mohair.

The tall shafts of the voluminous white yeti fur boots are belted at regular intervals with deep mulberry crocodile straps, giving a subtle layering effect amidst the heavy matted fur. The rounded toes of each boot peek out from underneath, a dark contrast of glossy blackish-purple leather set upon short platforms of caramel-toned lacquered maple and balanced with lofty narrow heels. Elegantly engraved inside the boots is the name 'Laphrael Miran'ta'.
