Here are the rest of them, not because scrutiny bothers me or him, but because I wish there were a verb that'd allow us to see shows without having our characters invade each other's personal space. (Hmm, looking at them together like this, there sure is an awful lot of "timeworn" verbiage that gets a little stale when taken all at once):

The links of this short-sleeved chainmail shirt seem to have at one time been enamelled a brilliant red color approximating the luster and hue of eahnor. Ravages of time and war have dulled the shine considerably, while numerous nicks and scratches mar the enamel revealing the silvery vultite beneath.

The sun has faded the heavy black fabric of this cloak to a dull grey across the shoulders. Although years of abuse have left it heavily patched and frayed, it is still a sturdy and servicable garment.

Time and years of use have tarnished the eahnor buckles and rivets of these trousers. The leather is worn and scuffed on the knees, seat, and oddly enough the shin area as well. The rivets reinforce all but the outer seams of the legs, which are fastened from hip to ankle with a row of buckles to ensure a close fit.

A faded inscription on the back bears testament to the fact that it may be a treasured family heirloom, the poignant message reading, "Death leaves a heartache no one can heal."

Got the idea for the cloak and matching muff/boots from the Kim Novak's winter outfit in Bell, Book and Candle when they are walking through the winter streets of New York on their way home.

Tiny wine purple-red garnet beads in elaborate arabesque embroidery covers the deep hood that can be worn up or folded back. Matching silk lines the interior of the garment with large pockets sewn in. A tiny gold bumbleebee is embroidered at the edge of one pocket.

The slender silver cuff wristband is etched with a wide band of delicate loveknots. Tiny forest green emeralds are set strategically among the loops of the knots. A heart-and-key-shaped lock inlaid with ocean-hued sapphires securely closes the whole affair. Written along the inside are the words, "Love indeed is a gift, an eternal spark shared, given to lift us up from our low desire."

Long, fluffy fox fur dyed a rich garnet red that fades to a pale amethyst at the tips forms a purse-sized barrel. Open on both sides, amethyst silk charmeuse lines the interior to make a warm haven for cold hands on a winter day. A small pocket inside can hold necessary items. A tiny gold bumblebee charm dangles from the opening.

Made from a supple kidskin and dyed a creamy almond brown, the snug fitting gloves have been lined with soft white cameline and cut high to cover the back of the hands and fingers, leaving most of the palm exposed. A small electrum ring has been positioned at the first outer knuckle of the right hand from which dangles a collection of tiny jingling charms.

Extending to just over knee-length are a pair of pale, lightweight wool stockings reinforced at the heel and toe with decorative cross-stitching. A slim band of cream lace trims the top to secure them in place adding a subtle feminine touch to an otherwise plain pair of hosiery.

Hairsticks:
Despite their obvious age, long past the point of function, the three golden wands have been kept and put to new use as ornaments. Time has deepened their hue to a richer tone but failed to dull the lasting craftsmanship of the carving on the handles. Each is covered in flames rendered in classical stylization, embellished here and there with thin curls of red gold.

Ferroniere:
This delicate chain ferroniere fastens around the wearer's head, partially hidden in the hair. Suspended from the chain is a single brightly glowing soulstone, positioned over the middle of the forehead.

Shoulder-wrap:
Exceedingly soft in texture, the plush fur sweeps through a range of fiery hues from blazing red to pale gold. Dark bronze silk lines the pelt with a pair of matching buttons nestled into the fur to clasp the wrap close.

She has an inked spiral of bronze tendrils tightly coiled upon each temple, and a rose-twined ebony key tattoo on her neck.

She is wearing an orb-inset haon talisman, a pure white brushed wool mantle backed in plush snowy ermine, a slim pallid cameline tunic smoothly draped to knee-length, a bracelet of feather-etched ivory and mistwood tiles, some warm white velvet handwraps edged in arctic fox fur, a mistwood beaded leather belt, a pair of icy white wool pants subtly feathered with vaalin frost, and a pair of pointed alabaster doeskin boots lined with soft snowshoe hare fur.

Nilandia fiddles with spills of niveous star hydrangeas framed by dark silvered leaves adorning the area atop her head, and as she does so, the scent of a crisp winter breeze drifts through the air.

Hydrangeas were based on these (http://2.bp.blogspot.com/_pQS4mWCMdL4/TRAJ25Tm0QI/AAAAAAAABHU/rqy-Minsdek/s1600/Sized+Star+Hydrangea+3.jpg) similar to those I'd seen in a botanical garden's Christmas display.

I also have a muted eggshell suede carry-all fitted with a knotted hazel handle and a soft doeskin gem pouch fastened with a disc of petrified sephwir which I wear when going hunting.

Small deep green circles of intricate knotwork connect the dragonflies to form the appearance of a chain around the neck. Admittedly, her attitude toward gems and jewelry had to come about because I found out about the documentation quoted above AFTER Traiva had already amassed a sizable collection of jewelry incorporating precious gems and metals, but it fits very well with her overall personality.

The front of the piece is a clouded matte finish, allowing the detail of incised arteries to stand out. Inset into the carved hollows are minute despanal shards, lending to the morbid appearance with their dark blood hue.

Solid bands of reddish-orange imflass bands pass through several of the riveted tiers, creating a contrasting metallic ribcage culminating in one thick band down the spine with sharp dorsal plates protruding outward.

Polished and lacquered to a brilliantly smooth finish, the red hue of the mahogany surface is lustrous. A thin ring of gold is fixed beneath the throat and wrapped on either side in braided violet cords that would secure onto a belt. Golden feathers are painted in minute detail along the length of the scabbard, each one accented with a miniature teardrop of drought agate, curling about as if falling in a slow descent.

Consisting of multiple pieces, the greaves have a dynamic metallic structure of unusual angles. A solid cuff surrounds the ankle with skeletal, feathery tines jutting backwards. The lower half follows the shin and turns outward just below the knee into a scallop-edged plate with spiked protrusions. The upper half, crafted from hinged feather-shaped plates, blends down the thigh into a single, hinged plate that bends out above the knee to meet the bottom half at a disjointed right angle.

Each of the many blades of the fan is a thinly carved slat of pale, silvery lor, pierced with an intricate pattern that creates a delicate, lace-like appearance. The two end pieces are slightly thicker and solid, covered in a layer of clear lacquer.

Back-pendant:
This piece is designed to be draped across the front of the wearer's throat in a single ophidian coil. The snake firmly holds its sinuous shape to avoid slipping, with the head positioned around the small of the back and the tail in a curve at shoulder blade level. The individually cast keeled scales and wedge-shaped head give it the look of a viper, done all in the silver hue of glinting steel. Its head tilts at an angle so that its faceted jewel eyes seem to observe the world behind its wearer.

belt ~ A singularly long strip of ebon leather crosses over at both hips and fastens with a pair deathstone-inlaid ouroboros buckles to form a functional belt. Tooled along the length of the leather are a sequence of sigils and runes for additional decorative effect.

cane ~ Uniform sections of narwhal tusk in varying tones of white are connected and banded with freely rotating silver rings at five intersections to form a sturdy cane. Each segment of ivory has a distinctive left-handed helix with subtle crimson and grey striations, giving the impression of a singular spiraling length from capped tip to the aishan-carved headpiece. Towards the center the sparks dilute, giving way to a heart of tanzanite, obscuring the axis of the jewel in violet and plum shading.

Not to pick apart your design. I think she is lovely. However, your tattoo troubles me and I think you could ASSIST for a quick fix. I believe the tattoo should say "accenting" and not "accented". The dots accent the swirls, correct? The dots are not accented by the swirls. At least this is what I get from the line. Since the dots are accenting the swirls, this should be how it is written. If, in fact, the dots are accented in some other way...well, that could be. Sorry if I seem like the grammar police. It just stood out to me as I was reading her over. As I said, otherwise quite attractive.

Thanks for the comments about her tattoo. The mehndi design that I had in mind was of Arabic origin. They tend to have more fragile looking floral patterns and less of the dense stronger patterns seen in Indian and Pakistani designs. Whimsical tails seemed to accent each dot in the design I had fallen in love with. They were almost like commas. Neither the swirls nor the dots were the main component in the piece, they simply merged together in a very organic way. I'm happy with how it turned out even if it does not appear grammatically correct. :thanx:

Glossy mulberry enamel coats one side of the arbalest's butt in an ostentatious image of a pair of pursed lips next to a dainty argent script. You also notice a small enchanter's glyph.

Spears:
Each hairstick is a spear in miniature, long and slender and deadly looking. Wrought in blackened iron, the hairsticks are designed to form a dark halo behind the wearer's head with the arrow-like tips jutting upward and outward sharply.

Back-pendant:
A network of extremely fine silver webbing forms a choker to suspend the back-pendant, designed to send an elongated V down between the wearer's shoulder blades. A thin chain extends from the stretched tip of the web, dangling a roughly palm-sized spider made of wire randomly interspersed with tiny, sharp spikes. Each of its jointed legs rest poised against the wearer's skin save the front two which are crossed, sharp and scimitar-like, in front of its prominent mandibles.

Pelt:
The thick suede lining of the pelt keeps the tone of the garment in the grey shades, from the silvery smoke hue of its back to the darker charcoal of the tail, pricked ears, and mask on the fox's well-preserved face. With no way to fasten the fluffy skin to the wearer, it is designed to be draped over the shoulder, head facing forward with its faceted obsidian eyes while the fluffy, white-tipped tail trails behind.
