Periapt
Carved from twin ovals of smooth driftwood fastened with bronze hinges, the minute periapt has the scrimshawed designs of a black-tipped osprey in diving flight. Tiny etched lengths of darkened bronze and dark green jade are inlaid around the edges, the tones reminiscent of the shades of the forest, while a minute sunflower carving acts as the lock on the door. A braided hemp cord is fitted through a small hole at the top, it's ends fitted with black lobster claw-clasps.

Periapt is an one of the heavily scripted attuned/matched lockets that holds the custom portrait the merchant made. The show on the periapt is a mirror of the matching locket.

She has a refined collection of quintessentially Elven features, from the sharply defined cheekbones and patrician nose to the delicate outline of her jaw.

She is wearing a tiny black glaes pendant, a double-breasted black leather jacket with a luxuriant framing collar of feathered swanskin, a neatly pressed black linen shirt, a coraesine ring-of-flames solitude band, a jointed sharp black vaalin thumb-talon, a pair of tight black leather pants, and some vampless black leather ankle-boots.

Pendant:
The odd shape of the pendant is highlighted by the reflective black finish of polished glaes. A long trachea hangs from a woven link necklet to display a tiny set of ebony lungs. The front of the piece is a clouded matte finish, allowing the detail of incised arteries to stand out. Inset into the carved hollows are minute despanal shards, lending to the morbid appearance with their dark blood hue.

Thumb-talon:
Thin plates of pearlescent black vaalin have been curved to fit the smaller length of the thumb in this simplistic piece. It is designed to sheath the entire digit while strategic joints preserve as much movement as possible before ending in a sharp, curved talon. No adornment is necessary, for the piece holds a quiet beauty in its clean lines.

Ankle-boots:
Set on high-arching wedges of stacked ebonwood layers, the ankle-boots feature a single strap weaving over the open space where the shoe's vamp would normally be, leaving the top of the wearer's foot almost bare. Each strap terminates with a small, rectangular silver buckle on the outside of the ankle.

Showing off a shiny new title and a fall outfit. The features are admittedly repetitive in the wording and I'm going to be working on streamlining them.

She has an inked spiral of bronze tendrils tightly coiled upon each temple, and a rose-twined ebony key tattoo on her neck.

A sleek frame of black steel gives the container its slim shape, while stretched across each piece is dark mottled snakeskin. Thin black steel chains criss-cross the reliquary, fastening themselves on the seams to keep them secure with false buckles. A pair of drawstrings close the loosely sewn opening, their knotted ends adorned simply with a pair of smooth obsidian spheres.

Made from smooth leather to hang off the hips, the pants are fitted to the knee and laced along the outside of the thighs to expose the skin beneath. Stained with a melange of forest hues, deep greens, muddy browns and matte blacks swirl over the material in random patterns. Lining each leg from beneath the laces to the knee are a series of multi-sized pockets, each one stitched with knotted twining brambles along the cover.

She has some black opal teardrop earrings in the ridges of both her ears, and a knotwork and dragonfly tattoo on her neck.

She is wearing a wide velveteen choker set with a sylvarraend ruby, a black silk cloak held at the throat by an intricate toggle, an open-back cherry silk blouse bound with an argent-swept whale bone waist-cincher, a trio of gilded black glaes bangles, an emerald-set gold wedding ring, a velvet belt pouch, a side-less ebon skirt over layers of crimson chiffon, some sheer silk stockings topped with ruffled white lace, and some knee-high sheer silk boots.

A thick border of solid white knotwork trims the neckline and edges of this long black tabard, which extends, unusually, to shin-length. Emblazoned across the chest is a magnificent white shield, upon which lies a clenched black fist. The tabard's narrow cut is designed for swift movement, its heavy material cut to keep it from causing distraction.

This small ivory-hued sigil has cast in the shape of a knight's shield, and has been etched with the image of a clenched fist centered upon the surface of the shield set atop an unfurling banner. Calligraphic lettering along the length of the banner has been engraved to read, "Lord Templar of the Warders."

The masked helmet of this plate has been forged to lack a visor, while wrapping over the tip of the nose and mouth as a smooth, featureless plate. The plates of the suit are heavy and massively reinforced, the pins and hinges thicker and more durable, and the joints are large and sturdy enough that chain reinforcement has been dispensed with altogether. The considerably larger right pauldron is entirely fashioned of eonake into the fierce image of a roaring lion's head. You also notice a small enchanter's glyph.

Feathers:
Silver pins lance through the shaft of each long, fluffy marabou feather to allow them to be affixed firmly to the wearer's hair, forming a framing halo around the head.

Choker:
The classic ouroboros shape has been skillfully rendered in pale lor, with obvious attention to detail in the realism of the serpent. With a faintly malevolent cast to its diamond-eyed face, the serpent clasps its own tail in its fanged maw to form the perfect ring of the choker.

Pelt:
The thick suede lining of the pelt keeps the tone of the garment in the grey shades, from the silvery smoke hue of its back to the darker charcoal of the tail, pricked ears, and mask on the fox's well-preserved face. With no way to fasten the fluffy skin to the wearer, it is designed to be draped over the shoulder, head facing forward with its faceted obsidian eyes while the fluffy, white-tipped tail trails behind.

The shoes are by Laphrael, of course.

Uniform sections of narwhal tusk in varying tones of white are connected and banded with freely rotating silver rings at five intersections to form a sturdy cane. Each segment of ivory has a distinctive left-handed helix with subtle crimson and grey striations, giving the impression of a singular spiraling length from capped tip to the aishan-carved headpiece. The individual silver bands reveal an etching of a runic symbol which, when aligned, reads, "ay-aq-ay-pu-pu.

Ring
Framing a scarlet pentacle on grey field is a polished silver circle flanked with a silver lor leaf to the lower left and a stylized gold dragon to the lower right. A trio of wispy black tendrils flow counterclockwise embracing the silhouette of a silver dragon which serves as a personal signifier.

Tattoo : An intricately detailed, meandering branch heavy with pallid cherry blossoms spans her chest from her left shoulder to the curve of her right collarbone. Despite the size of the piece, it is both delicate and feminine, from the realistic, slender bends in the burnished mahogany branch to the way the the pale hearts of the soft-petaled pink flowers nearly blend into the hue of her ivory skin.

Wedding ring :
A slender vaalin filigree ring creates a uniform circle that is banded with gold chevrons at measured lengths around the surface. As the gold touches the sides of the ring, it deviates into a piecework of briar thorns washed with a hoarfrost of vaalin. Resting in an elegant setting is an oval-cut ruby, the burnished prongs leaning to one side to uniquely support the gem.

Wrap: Formed of gleaming silk that holds the illusion of being dipped in warm cream, this wrap has been cut to fit a petite feminine form. The ends of the garment have been frayed to a fine feathered quality that compliments the ivory coloration of the remainder of the wrap. Barely discernible apricot colored lilies have been worked over the surface of the silk, bringing the entire piece to a beautiful finish.

Ballgown: The gown has a simple drop-shouldered bodice, fashioned from fine marbrinus, and boasts a swirled array of gold, auburn, chocolate brown, and fiery orange swirls. At the waist, the full-skirted ballgown fountains into an abundance of silken leaves. Each leaf holds a myriad of autumnal hues within its form and has been hand-painted with fine copper to outline the delicate veining and stems. With each movement, the leaves give a faint rustle and glint merrily in the ambient light.

She has long, fine obsidian hair with a trio of pristine ivory peonies crowning her brow. She has an oval face, a petite nose and a slight roundness to her high cheekbones, which culminate into a gently pointed chin.
She has a trio of carved ivory hoops set along the slender tips of her pointed ears, and a tiny blue water drop tattoo on the inside of her left wrist.

L bliaut Faint ruching adds depth to the azure chainsil fabric while gold silk embroidered with white trims the v-shaped neckline, sleeves, and hem. A length of white silk, gathered and bound by fine gold wire, encircles the bliaut twice about the tooled leather corsage before descending into an intricate knot to brush against the folds of the pleated skirt.

L lava Delicate vaalin links form the primary structure of the thin-chained necklace, while clusters of auboraline beads are arranged in trios along the length. Dangling from the center of the piece is a lavalier that is fashioned in the image of a filigree-encircled disc that has a smooth auboraline cut into the shape of a rose suspended within it.

L Bang - Two narrow leather cords string together the six bevel-edged rectangles of dark petrified kakore that comprise this hexagonal bracelet. The passage of time has enhanced the wood's grain, giving it a mix of rich brown and deep red hues. Each kakore slab is inlaid with a pearly vaalin peony that contrasts starkly against the rich wood.

Never claimed Myke had a good name, was my first character. Daarthiir has a backstory (character depth, try it some time), tied to some susperstitions (Note, he's from Trauntor) and the portion of history relevant to Despana (and specifically her general). Maybe you should read some game lore, it might help you not be so butt-hurt over apparently having been judged for having a shitty character or shitty RP. I hear you get better results, or in the least some feigned remorse to shut you up (if not an actual apology) when you have the balls to talk to someone and not hide behind negative rep and quiet crying at your keyboard.

Anyways, Rojo, not sure how most of them got approved, I just come up with a design I like and roll the dice. Sometimes they get approved, sometimes they get shot down. The character name for Daarthiir was taken straight from Gemstone lore documents. It was the name of Despana's general. He was born on the anniversary of the last day the lich was seen (presumed killed) in a *highly* superstitious area (Trauntor, also lore taken from the documents) and was a sickly baby.

Presuming it to be an ill omen, they couldn't kill the child because if he was a reincarnation of Daarthiir it just meant he'd find another vessel. Instead they kept the child alive and just kept him weak.. beating him nearly to death regularly, scarring him, etc etc. Eventually he got old enough to escape, blah blah blah, and now loathes the entirety of existence with enough deep-rooted conviction that rather than kill himself he lives solely to spread the agony he suffered to others.

Eventually found worship of Luukos on grounds he suspects that it will not only let him spread misery, but that Luukos will reward him after death by dissolving his consciousness in his belly (ceasing to exist entirely. The thought of an afterlife disgusts him. His ultimate goal is non-existance, which isn't easily achieved).

Stylized dragonflies are inked in shades of blue and green, the hues varying in intensity along the length of each insect. Small deep green circles of intricate knotwork connect the dragonflies to form the appearance of a chain around the neck. The outline of a stag's head is inked in dark gold at the back of the neck, nestled between two dragonflies.

The sumptuous emerald-tinted silk velvet has been cut into a backless gown with a low sweetheart neckline. Burnished gold velvet armbands bearing cutouts of leaping stags are attached to the bodice by thin strips of black silk. An intricate design of dragonflies and stag heads is embroidered onto the skirt in dark gold thread, heavy along the slight train and hem and fading as it rises along the graceful folds until it disappears completely halfway up the skirt.

A large marquis-cut emerald sits centered in display, flanked by four smaller matched stones of similar color and cut, the whole of the arrangement suggesting a stylized dragonfly. It perches atop a band of fiery reddish gold, engraved about its span with a subtle pattern of sinuous wisps.

The hair is a wig from Gweedetta, and the shoes are from Riend (made just before EG, because I knew I was getting the gown done at the first general alter merchant I could get to!).

Fashioned of willow wood and amber, the ring is comprised of two bands wedded to become one. The larger band has slightly higher walls designed to loosely cradle the smaller band, which is free to spin around the other piece without coming loose. The amber portion is formed from a series of teardrops laid end to end against a mithril backing, though the dozens of inclusions clouding each greenish droplet prevent the metal from shining through. Heavy polishing makes the willow gleam more brightly than the gems.

The case has a show, but it's been shared here before. The boots are by Laphrael. Everything else is off the shelf (though, does it count as off the shelf if it's from a merchant I designed? Heh.)

A frosty coating of glimmering ice clings to the magnificent wings, never melting from the dense plumage despite the temperature. With the slightest movement, delicate ice crystals radiate forth from the feathers in a dazzling display.

Reticulations in this pallid blue quartz gorget appear like hairline fractures throughout a thin sheet of ice. The piece has an irregular wavy shape with tiny faceted briolette crystals hanging freely from the bottom, while branches of brushed silver incised with mist grey frost agate shards climb upward around the wearer's throat and curl outward to embrace the jawline. The rigid structure of the piece would force an unwavering posture, elevating the chin and elongating the silhouette of the neck. It appears that a firm pull would unseat the agate.

Three brilliant teal kingfisher feathers rise from behind the jewel and bob gently at the slightest draft of air.

Hundreds of tiny silver scales cascade in shimmering strands from a broad blue silk ribbon. Some have been polished to a high sheen, while others bear a hammered or matte texture and a handful glimmer with an iridescent patina reminiscent of fish skin seen through water. The strands grow longer as they near the center of the choker, forming a 'V' shape designed to fall far past the hollow of the wearer's throat.

Swirling lines of stitchery follow the curves of the argent silk's moire pattern, quilting the delicate material to a cotton twill lining. Curled over a lining of thick wool, the fur of the seal fluffs outwards like a dandelion, pure white and incredibly soft. Positioned midway between the two openings at either end is the petite face of the infant seal. It has been perfectly preserved down to the fans of whiskers beside its small coal-black nose. Its huge, round glass eyes stare eternally outward beneath two dots of black marking its eyebrows.

Each sculpted line is detailed with varying ranges of glaesine crystal insets, from miniature teardrops to thin icicle-like columnar prisms. A fine layer of sheer, silvery-grey gossamer drapes freely over the neckline and curls around the back, split down the spine into a pair of airy wings.

Pearlescent vaalin links form a delicate wristlet plaited with stiff veniom-woven ivory organza that extends outward in a looping cuff. A series of chains crisscross in an elaborate triangular design that ends in a single multi-faceted frost white diamond band. Delicate swathes of the finest black silk are carefully layered to create a single length of opaque material. Thin bands of spun silver edge each layer, adding both structure and a hint of embellishment to the face-wrap.

Skillfully crafted from solid invar, the pendant is adorned with a series of tiny hooks with a delicate platinum star dangling from each one. Looking more closely, you see the stars form the pattern of the constellation commonly known as The Jackal.

Years of abuse have frayed the bottom edge of this ankle-length cloak. Tattered rips tear upwards, threatening to rend through the fabric. The billowing body of the cloak is quite thin, consisting of loosely woven cloth shot through with claret. Silvery crimson thread binds a large wide-mouthed hood to the cloak. The hood is double-layered with a soft silk lining and similar cloth exterior. The wide neck is secured by a leather band closure protruding from a pair of reinforced leather tabs.

Feathers:
Silver pins lance through the shaft of each long, fluffy marabou feather to allow them to be affixed firmly to the wearer's hair, forming a framing halo around the head.

Back-pendant:

This piece is designed to be draped across the front of the wearer's throat in a single ophidian coil. The snake firmly holds its sinuous shape to avoid slipping, with the head positioned around the small of the back and the tail in a curve at shoulder blade level. The individually cast keeled scales and wedge-shaped head give it the look of a viper, done all in the silver hue of glinting steel. Its head tilts at an angle so that its faceted jewel eyes seem to observe the world behind its wearer.

The macabre juxtaposition of potentially venomous tines hang from pewter chains that wrap repeatedly around a wide girdle of mottled amphibian skin, cinching it tightly but allowing enough freedom of movement to see the inherent play of shifting watery colors.

New outfit I put together... the vest pants, and shoes are yansio. The hat and coat are ghule. The shirt is an armor concealer. The satchel is just where I put everything I accumulate as a packrat.

coat: Crafted of thick, finely spun wool and dyed a dark black, the voluminous coat drapes around the wearer. The collar of the coat is turned up, framing the face, before it joins the lapels. Left undone, a matching black wool belt dangles from loops on either side of the coat.

I picked the hat specifically for this: You reach up and tip your hat.

It's got less shows than I normally go for, but overall I like it. I was feeling very noir detective when I designed it.

Diamond-stitched fur covers this wool-lined garment, which is gathered at the hips and shoulders but left loose to drape elegantly in between. The short, plush pile and the warm, non-uniform coloring of the fur betrays the source as rabbit. Slight dapplings of creams and browns mark variations in the pelts, and the diamond quilting works to combine the separate pieces into an asymmetrical, flowing pattern.


Still in process of finalizing this thing, I will have new boots hopefully soon,and maybe re-work the leg wrappings to be wool..

These leathers are cut to fit closely to the wearer, the ebon leather reinforced with dozens of silver crescents overlapping one another to accentuate the female form. Silver-inlaid patterns of branches and vines entwine throughout, creating ornate images of diving hawks. The elaborate tracings ultimately come together upon the breastplate to form a whorled modwir stitched in verdant emerald. Just below the hollow of the throat, a tiny four-tined star is set in brilliant cerulean sapphire. You also notice a small enchanter's glyph.

She has an inked spiral of bronze tendrils tightly coiled upon each temple, and a rose-twined ebony key tattoo on her neck.

She is wearing an orb-inset haon talisman, a niveous wool-on-ermine mantle caught by seven-pointed golden sunbursts, a slim pallid cameline tunic smoothly draped to knee-length, a pair of icy white wool pants subtly feathered with vaalin frost, and a pair of pointed alabaster doeskin boots lined with soft snowshoe hare fur.

The trilliums are new style hair flowers with a custom hairstyle.

The gold sunbursts on the mantle began as a gift from a merchant that Nilandia has since incorporated into her outfits. It's a hooded cloak and I was also lucky enough to get the fastening changed to use the motif.

With no way to fasten the fluffy skin to the wearer, it is designed to be draped over the shoulder, head facing forward with its faceted obsidian eyes while the fluffy, white-tipped tail trails behind.
