No EG stuff here - I'm not much of a festival-goer - but I did finally finish putting my little bardess' winter outfit together. It's mostly off the shelf, but I like it.
She appears to be a Sylvankind of the Fresiawn D'ahranal.
She appears to be very young and shorter than average. She has sparkling pale blue eyes and fair skin. She has waist length, unruly flaxen hair with lighter streaks. She has a heart-shaped face, an upturned nose and small pointed ears.
She is holding a slender pure white haon lute with jade-hued faenor strings in her right hand.
She is wearing a soft white cashmere knit cap, a silver fox fur cape, a haon doe suspended from a chain of faenor musical notes, some soft green studded leather brigandine, a gauzy white silk sash with a haon-hafted curved faenor hatchet hanging from it, a jade-inlaid instrument case, a pair of soft green wool trousers, and a pair of slim silver fox fur boots.
>l cap
The exquisitely soft wool has been knitted with obvious care, producing a head covering that is just as stylish as it is warm.
>l brigandine (H4H2)
The studded leather on this brigandine is made very soft by many years of fine care. The color is the shade of moss in the morning. There are tiny leaf-shaped steel studs on the center of the chest which take the form of a modwir tree. You also notice a small enchanter's mark.
>l hatchet
Fine-grained haon forms a polished haft that tapers into several shallow depressions near the base to insure a steady grip. Strands of white leather only a shade paler than the creamy wood wrap the finger grooves, providing padding and covering a portion of the spiralling strip of faenor that reinforces the haft. The deep green metal band flows smoothly from the axe's broad, curved blade to the small sphere that balances the weapon at the opposite end. A single white feather dangles from the sphere. You also notice a small enchanter's mark.
Not as stylish as all you formal ladies, I know, but I try.

You see XXXXX the Spellweaver.
She appears to be an Illistim Elf.
She appears to be of a tender age and shorter than average. She has long-lashed pale blue eyes and alabaster skin. She has waist length, thick auburn hair with lighter streaks. She has a delicate face, an upturned nose and slightly upswept pointed ears.
She has a twisted polished copper ring in the upper ridge of her right ear.
She is in good shape.
She is wearing a fiery red ruby-set choker, a gleaming chrysoberyl necklace, some deep floor-length silk sleeves painted with a ring of flames, a rippling dark silk cloak swept with swirled fiery hues, a side-laced black leather corset set with curved black steel boning, some fiery scarlet leather, a silk-threaded black stave harness, a satin-swept scarlet silk skirt twined with onyx-hued patterns, and a pair of knee-high black leather boots tipped with fiery scarlet.
I know the necklace doesn't fit, but it's sentimental value.
My empath.
You see Lady Saisha Stardance the Palliator.
She appears to be a Sylvankind of the Lassaran D'ahranal.
She appears to be young and sprightly and shorter than average. She has piercing crystal blue eyes and fair skin. She has shoulder length, wavy honey blonde hair swept back from the temples. She has a delicate face, a small nose and tucked pointed ears.
She is in good shape
She is wearing a delicate woven gold circlet engraved with tiny green acantha leaves, some gold elm leaf earrings, a cuctucae berry talisman, a hooded fawn silk greatcloak, a side-laced fawn brocade bodice, some butterfly crested leather hunts, a gold diamond-cut bangle, a stylish gold sash, an antique leather potions bag, a tailored fawn brocade skirt, a golden orange satin thigh-band, and some dark gold brushed suede slippers.

Post Ebons:
You see Caiylania E'Leanu the Warrior.
She appears to be a Half-Elf from Ta'Ardenai.
She appears to be young and robust and tall. She has sparkling green eyes and tanned skin. She has waist length, wavy auburn hair worn in a single braid. She has slightly pointed ears.
She has a soaring hawk tattoo on her arm, and a raging warhorse tattoo on her wrist. (<--- this was forearm. Wrist sucks :( )
She is wearing an interwoven leather circlet, a leather-tied hawk prayer-feather, a gold and silver knot earring, an ebon laced leather pack, a water-filled filigreed amulet, an engraved sword pendant, a gold-buckled weapon sling, a dark green suede cloak, a short sienna leather vest, a shield-shaped Voln pin, a cerulean glaesine orb, an intricately woven silver armlet, a billowy white linen shirt, a rugged leather bracelet with a tiny dangling iron shield, a tight-laced leather wrist sheath, a silver knotwork ring, a pouch-lined dark leather belt, an embossed leather sword kit, an old cracked leather belt pouch, a scuffed green suede hip-sack, a pair of soft black leather pants, and some tall chestnut suede boots.
Alters I got from Ebon's:
~ an interwoven leather circlet (amulet holder) ~
Five sturdy lengths of leather, two of ebon black, one a warm brown, another a light grey, the last a deep shade of umber, have been woven together with subtle skill into complex and intertwining patterns. An intricate knot ties the circlet together, allowing the long leather pieces to fall loosely down the wearer's back. The only other ornamentation on the circlet is a small slender crystal that is tied securely to one of the ebon strands, halfway down its length.
~ a dark green suede cloak (1 of Nontay's actioned cloaks) ~
The green suede exterior and charcoal black muslin lining create a comfortable, sturdy garment made to last. Two intertwining silver lines are stitched along each edge, giving a subtle trim to the dark ankle-length cloak. Fastened at the neck is a silver knotwork clasp, finely etched at the center with a hawk soaring above a running horse.
a silver knotwork ring - not altered but bought at Ebon's with some interesting actions:
As you pull slightly on your knotwork ring a sharp pain knifes through your heart, your sense of loss feeling fresh once again.
As you rub your knotwork ring, you think fondly of your loved one and the time you shared together.
As you brush your fingers over your knotwork ring you feel a sense of longing for your lost loved one. Then you are filled with a sudden sense of peace, as if their spirit has graced you with their comforting presence.
At the shop that sold hilt alters off the rack I did this to my axe:
You tap a vultite axe with rich cordovan leather wrapped about its haft.

You see Lord Anticor Rifling the War Mage.
He appears to be a Giant of the Grot'karesh Clan.
He appears to be in the prime of life and tall. He has captivating onyx-hued eyes and well-tanned skin. He has short, thick reddish brown hair with grey at the temples. He has a square-jawed face, a classical nose and broad shoulders.
He is wearing a gleaming onyx nose ring, a stamped metal Saramar symbol, an onyx-trimmed black silk greatcloak, a crimson glaes armband, some ceremonial Ishan hunts, a lustrous sleek onyx bracelet, a twisted signet ring inset with a miniature onyx scimitar on a field of crimson, an ancient weapons belt inset with a small crimson V'Tull symbol on the buckle, an onyx-studded shadowy black hip-satchel, a ceremonial onyx and crimson Ishan greatkilt, and a pair of black traveling boots.
I'm wanting to add a sporran and maybe a polearm harness and that's it. The greatcloak, hunts, and boots all have shows but I think I've shown them before so I won't waste your time heh.

Chica is wearing a bit to much at the moment but I think she looks ok:
You see Chica Ebonspirit.
She appears to be a Paradis Halfling.
She appears to be young and extremely tiny. She has lilac-flecked willow green eyes and smooth, rose-blushed skin. She has long, loose ringlets of fiery red hair subtly contrasted with golden blonde highlights and deep plum undertones. She has a delicate, perfectly formed heart-shaped face, a dainty button nose and expressive, pink-tinted lips. She has a smattering of tiny freckles across her nose and cheekbones.
She has a tiny Paradis crest tattoo inked upon her collarbone.
She is in good shape.
She is wearing a flowing black silk pelisse, a braided black silk ribbon suspending a tiny solid silver heart, a silver-chased ivory locket, a hook-clasped ebon leather corset set with rigid silver boning, an antique halfling bracelet, a petite ebon silk tote, a slender krodera-chased corselet, a flounced black raw silk skirt, and some knee-high ebon leather boots front laced with silver-tipped dark silk ribbons.
Tattoo is the best thing ever. >look other tat
The centerpiece of this tattoo is a tiny, but very detailed, white snowflake. Around the snowflake are three concentric silver bands, each labelled independently in flowing script: Brughan, Malghava, and Mhoragian. A larger, golden band labelled Paradis encircles the tattoo, completing the design.
<3 to Maimara for designing it!

He appears to be an adult and tiny. He has large hazel eyes and freckled skin. He has short, curly dark brown hair shaved at the temples. He has a classical nose and a small goatee.
He is in good shape.
He is holding a royal blue satin backpack in his left hand.
He is wearing a sparkly pixie mask, a haggard make-shift harbinger hide mantle secured by heavy chains, a rune belt, and some blue zorchar trimmed soulslayer leathers etched with a verlok hovering above a pentagram.

From EG
You tap a black diamond tear tattoo
You see a glittering black diamond tear sliding down the cheek, its liquid edges lost in the deep brown hues of skin. Sparkling pools of onyx chase the diamond down her cheek, leaving a trail of twinkling stars fading from her eye. On further examination, you can see the diamonds forming in the corner of her eye.
a shadowy ebon-hued hatchet.
Upon closer examination of this finely crafted weapon, you notice an intricate etching of two intertwining wolves, their bodies twisting and turning around the blade in incredible detail. The pommel resembles a majestic wolf in mid-leap. Two glittering black diamonds, serving as the eyes of the wolf, are embedded into the pommel. In flowing script along the base of the blade are the words, "Respect is Earned." You also notice a small enchanter's mark.
a shadowy vultite wall shield.
The wall shield has been forged of the strongest metals and polished to a high ebon-hued luster. The exterior of the shield displays masterfully etched runes of magical protection encircling a lone wolf. Bands of the purest gold, which are inlaid with diamonds, reinforce the rim of this shield, allowing the light to dance off their many sides. You also notice a small enchanter's mark.
I bought a bunch of really nice items, and genrally had a blast. EG is by far my favorite pay event.

You see Nalina.
She appears to be a Sylvankind of the Tyesteron D'ahranal.
She appears to be mature and very tall. She has intense, darkly-lashed pale citrine eyes and faultless china-white skin. She has waist-length, thick charcoal black hair that tumbles in a wild disarray of loose curls to the small of her back. She has an angular face, a classical nose and slightly pointed ears. She has a series of small scars about either side of her slender throat.
She has a small silver ring fashioned into a spiral loop in her left eyebrow, and a tattooed ring of whorled knotwork on her finger.
She is in good shape.
She is wearing an austere silver collar, a slim-fitting black velvet longcoat, a square-necked bodice of crushed plum velvet with sharply curved external ivory boning, a three-banded black sable belt with a slender shadowed steel stiletto hanging from it, a loose-weave raw linen tote, a pair of billowy ivory pants fashioned from soft cashmere, and a pair of slender black suede boots perched on low ebonwood heels.
I think the belt was shown in my previous post here, but I'll do it again just in case.
You glance at your belt. Three tiered strips of velvety black sable are designed to be worn draped in a cascading fashion low upon the hips, the ends and terminating to a dark rolaren buckle. A twin set of leather cord loops serve to hold daggers and other small knives on either side of the wearer s waist for quick access.

It is pretty redundant. Its just that if it's a three-banded belt there are six ends all meeting together into a buckle.

Michiko's winter outfit... so far, anyway.
You see Lady Michiko Lawyk the Woodswoman.
She appears to be a Half-Sylvan.
She appears to have come of age and short. She has long-lashed, expressive twilight blue eyes and flawless, creamy skin. She has long, silky raven black hair that flows down her back, curling at the tips to brush against her hips. She has a finely contoured aristocratic face, an upturned nose and petite, delicate ears that taper to slight points.
She has a series of intricately etched slender silver rings in the ridges of both her ears.
She is in good shape.
She is wearing a midnight black suede fedora, a thin chain-link silver necklace, a tiny bug-eyed silver lizard, a back-split black brocade longcoat, an intricate silver phoenix rampant pin, a cowl-necked ivory cashmere sweater, a pair of elegant pinstriped black wool trousers, and some knee-high black leather boots.
The longcoat has been shown before.
Had the trousers made last night by Sproink, and the sweater made just now by Choovy.

Oh and Michiko, that outfit is SMASHING.
Too bad Nalina is going to have to knock her unconsious and steal that sweater...and the pants too. Mmm...cowled neck...hot.
You see Blah Blah Blah the Something...
He appears to be a Dwarf of the Grevnek Clan.
He appears to be advanced in years and taller than average. He has rapidly-darting pearly-grey eyes and dark skin. He has receding, white hair. He has a ruddy face, a broad nose and an unruly, scraggly white beard.
He has a tarantula tattoo on his neck.
He is in good shape.
He is wearing an ora dwarven mining helm with a cascade of nicks and dents running across its surface, a pearly grey rolaren aventail, a pair of petrified beard clamps, a pearly grey glaes ring, a pearly grey ora earring, a pearly grey leather cape, a pearly grey mithril belt, a polished dwarven phylactery, a dwarven crafted rolaren shield, a pearly grey sack, an iron-armed stone dwarf talisman, some pearly grey gauntlets, some pearly grey legguards, a keg-shaped dwarven ale mug, a pearly grey leather sheath, a leather breastplate, a dwarven mining backpack, some baggy grey britches, and some sturdy dwarven-crafted boots.
>look clamp
These odd looking clamps are styled from a pair of fossilized pointed ears of an unknown origin. They are bound by a tiny rusting coil and the tips of the ears are sharpened to allow safe passage into even the scraggliest of beards.
>look phyl
The phylactery, a small ironwood box strapped to the wrist, has been polished to a high sheen. Despite the care, it can not disguise the dents and nicks that run across its surface. A large portion of the papyrus that is supposed to be inside of the phylactery is unreservedly hanging out. Drawn on the surface is a charcoal image depicting a dwarven mob surrounding a kneeling elf.
>look mug
Crafted of aged beechwood, the mug appears to be a miniature version of a keg -- the bolted steel bands ringing it slightly loose from years of rough use. A plethora of ale-stains have seeped into the ancient wood, imparting a shadowed, splotchy appearance to its unpolished surface. A strip of leather allows the mug to be looped through the belt, and a thick border of grey knotwork edges it, encircling a small invar waraxe inlaid in the center of the worn leather.
>look britch
These comfortable britches have had several patches added to the many areas afflicted by tears. A few buttons have been randomly sewn on to various places on the britches for no apparent reason. The buckles, rising towards the waist, are made from expertly sutured pearls that increase in size ending in an oversized, cylindrically-shaped grey pearl as the top buckle.
>look boot
These sturdy dwarven-crafted boots have been cut from supple leather and dyed a deep midnight hue. Stitched along the sides of each boot are tiny glyphs of stealth. Etched into each heel are the words, "Down with the pointy-ears!" Braided leather cording laces up each boot, ending at a perfect emerald sewn into the cuff.

She's so deadly...she's got a dagger in her hairsticks, two in her shirt, a bodice dagger in (duh) her bodice, and I think she's got one in her skirt too. She also usually hangs her shortsword and another dagger from her belt too.

This is my main girl. Right now she's dressed for battle with plantlife:
She appears to be young and robust and taller than average. She has long-lashed violet eyes and olive skin. She has long, wavy platinum hair worn in a single braid. She has a delicate face and high cheekbones.
She is wearing a delicate silver-wrought circlet set with a single deep blue crystal, a small crystal Sovyn pin, a hooded dark blue spidersilk cloak, a platinum clasped-hands ring, some fitted silver-laced deep blue leathers, and some stormy blue leather boots fastened with silver buckles.
This is the outfit she'd be wearing if trees weren't trying to take over the world:
She is wearing a faceted silvery crystal dangling from a gleaming platinum chain, a small crystal Sovyn pin, a hooded dark blue spidersilk cloak, a soft blue cashmere sweater, a platinum clasped-hands ring, a silver-edged deep blue silk skirt, and some delicate crystal-heeled boots.

Very nice. I can't stand gold myself and so therefor...neither does Nalina. :( Though with her coloring she would look really quite nice in it. But that's a whole other shitload of alters I'd have to bust my ass getting. I'll stick to silver.
The outfit looks very nice. And yes, her eyes rawk.

Thanks, thanks. I h8 yellow gold for myself, but Naessi wears it well, so I have a lot of it for her. The only colors she doesn't do are purples and pinks.

Well, since I'm bored, lonely and now depressed, I'll post Nilandia's current outfit. Since the person she's with loves that she changes her outfits every day, I'll post some outfits as they change.
Today's outfit was my attempt to blend summer into autumn. Everything is off the rack except for the bodice, which is a bodice and laced sleeves that were altered by Mavikia on the Dhu.
NOTE: I just got Nilandia's hair altered as her prize for RP month. No more cascading hair!
You see Nilandia Liserna the Apothecary.
She appears to be a Sylvankind of the Lassaran D'ahranal.
She appears to be youthful and tall. She has sparkling forest green eyes and smooth, creamy white skin. She has long, golden-highlighted, sunset red hair that frames her lithe figure in gentle waves. She has a gentle and delicate face, a softly sculpted nose and slightly upswept ears that taper into fine points. She has slender hands with long, soft fingers and gently curving rose-red lips.
She is in good shape.
She is wearing a circlet of autumn leaves, a gold oak leaf suspended from a silken cord, a twig-clasped leaf green cloak, a perfect copper rose, a front-laced deep green silk bodice with elegant copper-hued sleeves, a bright gold emerald-studded hip-belt, a leaf-edged gold satin skirt, an emerald leaf-link anklet and some leaf green silk slippers.

So, they let you put your body shape in a hair alter?
Interesting.
Nilandia
11-29-2004, 01:25 AM
It was an off-the-cuff idea that was talked over with the GameMaster. I believe that there are a few parameters to putting a body description into your hair alter. Don't forget, also, that Sylvans are described in the docs as being "slight and lithe," so using that description isn't too far-fetched.

True enough.
I don't understand why they just can't allow body shapes in the random feature lines. I like the idea of sneaking it in somewhere else (like the hair).

She must have really long hair. I like that outfit, that bodice is hot.

He is in good shape.
He is wearing a crimson wizard's hat, a bright yellow fake beak, some bright yellow gloves, a crimson wizard's cloak trimmed in bright yellow spidersilk, a crimson backpack, a crimson moon medallion, a yellow crystal-inset ring, a crimson ring, a crimson small sack, a crimson large sack, some bright yellow powder, a crimson metal aventail, a crimson leather jerkin, some crimson arm greaves, some crimson leg greaves, a crimson lacquered sheath inlaid with crimson blazestars, a yellow lacquered weapon harness inlaid with large yellow diamonds, a crimson pants, and a crimson moccasins.

Haircombs, hair ribbons, hair-jewelry, diadems, circlets, barettes, etc.
Earrings
Necklaces/pendants
Cloak/backpack (NOT both)
Armbands (things that you picture on the upper arm) or pins
Bodice/blouse/whatever
Rings/bracelets
Container (pouch/bag/satchel)
Pants/skirt
Footwear
Don't wear too much jewelry shit. Pick something like... earrings, armband and bracelet or diadem, pin and rings... wear it all and it's just too much!
Try to limit your containers. Really, you don't need that many. Really!
Put all this on in reverse order (starting with footwear) so when people look, they'll see the head-to-toe "picture" of how your character looks.

I'll agree with your order, with just a couple modifications. My order tends to be:
Head
Ears
Neck
Cloak (I see a cloak as being worn over the back and shoulders items)
Shoulders
Back
Bodice
Chest-worn
Pins
Arms
Wrists
Fingers
Belt
Belt-worns
Legs
Ankle
Foot
Now, I don't wear all of them at once. That's just the order I follow. I definitely advocate a "less is more" ideal. If you wear everything, I'll just see a wall of stuff and I won't bother reading through it.

I hope no one kills me for this, but there is another feature line, which is the "body" line. You would define your character's figure, body shape, whatever. That line is bugged, however, so we can't use it yet.

I forgot to add an "armor" line in my item list, though Nilandia's is good. The thing with armor is that you should just wear it when you're hunting, or traveling. When you step inside the gates, TAKE IT OFF and let your outfit shine:)

Hee, Naessi won't wear anything BUT robes. I've had her wear them sometimes as a total-body item with a cloak and jewelry or whatever, but usually they detract from the gown or skirt/bodice bit, so I just take them off.

Yeah, depends on the character. The one who wears robes has her outfit designed around them, and it's pulled off quite nicely. When I get home, I'll post it.

I was really lucky to get a nice looking corset that's leather armor at Ebon's Gate this year. So I don't have a problem sticking Linsha in it. Considering the people she's made mad recently it's a good idea to not take it off.

Is that the side-laced black leather corset? I bought one too, even though I almost passed out at the price. What kind of armor does it qualify as? I was going to have it altered.

My new (well old girl. I needed a bard so I reactivated her). She's dressed from everything i had laying around from Ebon's Gate. I think I'll cut off the tattoos I don't like but I'm not sure yet.
You see Treana De'Vitia.
She appears to be a Sylvankind.
She appears to be very young and tall. She has thick-lashed sea green eyes and pale skin. She has very long, glossy deep red hair worn in elaborate braids. She has sharp pointed ears.
She has a twining ivy tattoo on her waist, and a silver lute tattoo on her ankle.
She is in good shape.
She is wearing a translucent delicate white iris tucked behind one ear, a hooded dove grey spidersilk cloak, a green crystal choker hung with emerald leaves, a pair of thin black ribbon wristlets, a moss green suede satchel clasped with a leaf-shaped stone, a flared evergreen silk gown, some braided open-toed sandals.
I think you were talking about me and the corset I bought that's leather armor. Without logging in the one who has it I think it's something along the lines of 'a curvacious rose patterned corset' and it's full leather. From Drawtha's shop I know they had maybe 3 different styles all together.

And here's tonight's.
You are wearing a silver half-moon choker, a flowing black spidersilk cloak, a diaphanous black silk robe, a silver-boned dark velvet corset, a pair of slim black satin gloves, a braided silver wire ring, a thin silver filigreed black belt, some sheer silver silk stockings, a twisted onyx and silver anklet and some black silk high-heeled slippers.

Alright, here's the outfit I said was designed around robes. This is Nilandia as she exists in Plat. She is played as much more connected to nature. Hence, she is barefoot and her clothing is much more nature-oriented. As little metal as possible, except for her symbol (Nilandia is Lumnisian here, too) and her locket.
Note on the snake: I'd decided to use the symbolism of the snake as that of nature's renewal, since a snake sheds its skin. Such symbolism is often used in other cultures, and since Nilandia is now living near a town, she feels she needs a little reminder to continue to respect nature.
You see Nilandia the Botanist.
She appears to be a Sylvankind.
She appears to be youthful and tall.
She has softly sparkling forest green eyes and smooth, creamy white skin. She has long, sunset red hair with golden highlights that shimmer from within elaborate braids tied with doeskin thongs. She has a gentle and delicate face and slightly upswept pointed ears. A perfect orange imperial topaz is positioned between her eyes, which casts a sparkling fiery orange sheen across her face.
She is in good shape.
She is holding a doeskin-bound faewood runestaff with a slender green brown-eyed snake wrapped around it in her right hand.
She is wearing an ivory hair-ornament suspending two owl feathers, a simple red rose tucked behind one ear, an encircled gold scroll symbol, a carved pale bone pendant, a silver linked-hearts locket, a vibrant deep green silk cloak, a fur-trimmed tan leather satchel, some flowing deep green silk robes, a braided doeskin unity armband, a set of carved ivory bangles, a shining clear glimaerstone unity ring and a braided pale green silk sash.
>l my rune (5x runestaff)
You glance at your runestaff. Strips of doeskin have been wrapped around the staff in an intricately braided pattern, allowing for a surer grip. At the tip of the staff the wood widens to an elongated orb, into which is carved a doe and a set of five conjoined circles.
Wrapped around the runestaff is a slender green brown-eyed snake staring at you with malice in its eyes.
>l my pendant (amulet holder)
Strung from a tawny leather cord, this pendant is made of polished pale bone. Carefully carved into the bone are intricately detailed vines that twist around the pendant, winding upwards to an open rose. The petals on the rose have been colored a delicate pink, adding just a hint of color to the pendant.
>l my locket (portrait locket of Nilandia's fiance)
Tucked into the linked-hearts locket, you see an exquisitely detailed portrait of a human ranger. Rays from a painted sun put a twinkle in his bright brown eyes and illumine his tanned skin and black very short hair. He regards you earnestly from within the locket, and a friendly smile touches his lips.
>l my cloak (Hurble cloak)
Soft, deep green silk forms the body of this garment, falling in gentle folds from the shoulders. A subtle pattern of embroidery runs along the material, its color nearly blending with that of the silk. Delicate gold clasps shaped like scrolls hold the cloak closed while another layer of silk lines the garment, its color slightly lighter than that of the outside, but embroidered in the same fashion.
>l my satchel (Nilandia's medical kit)
Supple panels of a light tan doeskin form the front and sides of this wide satchel, looped and sewn with precision craftsmanship into a series of many small compartments around the edge. A glistening smoky umber swathe of fur serves as the flap, the grain of the fine hair arcing perfectly in symmetry with the design. Dangling from the corner compartment, a slender length of acantha stem pokes through the stitching.
>l my robes (4x robes, 10 Xojium scripts including the hood)
The spun silk of these robes is dappled with iridescence, a hallmark of fine Sylvan weave. A deep hunter green shade has been imparted into the material. The fluid cloth cascades in gentle folds from the shoulders to the hem, cut to fall to the ankle on a tall Sylvan. The sleeves hang freely to the garment's knees. They are lined with a paler jade silk, while the same pastel adornment sits at the hem and neckline, embroidered in a stylized, swirling pattern. You also notice a small enchanter's mark.

My wizardess and her robes. I love this outfit btw..had it done mostly at EG but also some of it was gifts from others.
She appears to be a Sylvankind.
She appears to be very young and taller than average. She has sultry jade green eyes and tanned skin. She has very long, wavy platinum hair with lighter streaks. She has a delicate face, a small nose and small pointed ears.
She has a delicate wild rose tattoo on her chest, a crescent moon tattoo on her neck, and a pouncing kitten tattoo on her thigh.
She is in good shape.
She is wearing a delicate silver circlet etched with crescent moons and vervain flowers, a pair of pale moonstone earrings, an opaline Elanthian snow rose, some hooded sylvan-crafted robes, a burnished platinum link wristchain, a silver ring crafted into a circle of seven modwir trees, a celestial silver unity ring, a midnight blue silk arcane case, a delicate platinum thigh-band secured with a tiny wood sprite clasp, a moon charm silver chain anklet, a pair of thin sheer black sandals, and a glimmering moonstone toe-ring.
l my robes
Hand tailored of the finest sylvan silk, these loose-fitting robes were crafted for comfort and ease of movement. The sheer material drops to the ankles in soft pleats, the folds of which are of a subtly lighter hue than the rest of the garment. Spiraling elemental runes have been embroidered in a fine silver thread along the cuffs of the open sleeves, their points nearly touching the ground. The dramatically plunging neckline is secured with a platinum clasp, etched with the image of a modwir tree.
l my other ring
Etched around the ring are miniature moons and stars that swirl and spiral in hypnotic patterns. In the center of each moon and star is a tiny crystal shard, sparkling beautifully when touched by light. Capping the unity ring is a delicatly formed crescent moon encircling a crystal-inlaid heart.
l my case
Made from pure vultite, the arcane case has been carefully crafted for a large capacity to hold several magical items. A layer of elegant pearlescent midnight blue silk has been attached to the outside for appearance and small crescent moons cut from silvery moonstones have been fastened to the case in a random design. An intricate sylvan rune has been etched into the sapphire clasp which secures the case closed.

Yeah it does seem kind of dead. I'll post an outfit. Pieces of it have been seen but oh well.
You see Lysistrata.
She appears to be a Nalfein Elf.
She appears to be young and average height. She has almond-shaped grey eyes and fair skin. She has long, straight deep red hair. She has a delicate face and high cheekbones.
She is in good shape.
She is wearing a solid black quartz circlet overlaid with pale zorchar filigree, a half-buttoned black suede longcoat, a thin-strapped vertically striped black and white sea snake skin bodice, a solid black quartz wrist-cuff shaped like a sharp-tined crown, a pair of warm ivory wool trousers, and a pair of tall side-buckled boots.
Heh, it may be noticed she has no altered features, no title, and no last name. I had to reroll her in a desperate attempt to keep up my interest in GS. Here's hopin' it worked.
Forgot the show on the longcoat.
Soft, flawlessly dyed black suede makes up this longcoat, with burnished silver buttons running from its high stiff collar to the calf-length hem. The garment is only fastened from the collar to the top of the waist, though, allowing it to flare back dramatically.

OMG YOU REROLLED HER!?!
Hehe, into what?
Paladin. Of Eorgina. But that last part's a secret!
My aelotoi.
You see Kralf.
He appears to be an Aelotoi of the Gaeh'deh Clan.
He appears to be very young and taller than average. He has piercing stormy green eyes and freckled skin. He has waist length, tied back blue-black hair streaked with silver. He has a delicate face, a straight nose and frown lines. He has a pair of pale green wings.
He is in good shape.
He is holding a yellow lacquered long bow in his left hand.
He is wearing a snazzy wide-brimmed violet felt hat with an enormous multihued plume, a bright blue sapphire badger suspended from a silver chain, a chartreuse back quiver spotted with varying shades of blue and purple, a brightly painted bow case, a color swirled back-slitted cloak, a bright red vest with thin vertical blue and yellow stripes, some chitin-inlaid bracers, some fancy bright orange leathers threaded with brilliant yellow stripes, a virulently bright green belt, an enameled vultite siege case, a midnight blue sack embroidered with silver stars, a brightly painted arrow case, a pair of bright red and blue striped trousers festooned with dazzling yellow stars, a set of golden sunburst boot buckles, and a pair of satin royal purple poulaines with curled toes dangling with silver bells.
bow case: A scene of many Aelotoi coming through a silver portal is delicately carved in bas relief across the surface of the bow case, each of them expertly brought to life with enamels. Most prominent among the Aelotoi stands a very young woman of the Vaer'sah clan, her long red hair blowing freely in the wind obscuring her delicate glimmering wings, a look of defiance shines in her dark sea green eyes as she surveys her new home.
Cloak: Bright red is swirled with chartreuse, blue, and yellow making a dazzling combination of colors. Delicate silver embroidery covers the collar of the cloak, depicting several badgers chasing each other's tails.
siege case: The surface of the case is extravagantly engraved with the image of an oddly dressed Aelotoi playing with several siege toys beneath a huge willow. Expert work with enamels brings out the amazingly bright colors of his clothing, and accentuates the details of the scene.
arrow case: Detailed engravings of bears and boars cover the surface of the case, each with a few arrows stuck in their hides. Bright enamel paints accentuate the engraving, with flowing script reading, "Arrows straight and sharp" neatly placed along the edge.

You see Lady Aeraelena Aiurses the Consoler.
She appears to be a Half-Elf from Ta'Faendryl.
She appears to be young and untried and average height. She has long-lashed violet eyes and olive skin. She has waist length, flowing jet black hair. She has a delicate face, a classical nose and slightly pointed ears.
She has a brilliant diamond stud in her left nostril.
She is in good shape.
She is holding an antique ivory handled mirror in her right hand.
She is wearing a pink-tipped soft white rose tucked behind one ear, a pink crystal choker hung with rosebuds, a crystal amulet, a golden Oleani pendant, a gold diamond-cut bangle, a crystal promise ring, a soft white velvet cloak clasped with an amethyst adorned golden aloeas leaf, a soft low-cut chemise woven from sheer raw silks, some delicate ivory silk stockings, some pink silk crystal-dusted slippers, a pearly pink purse, and a simple silver mesh pack.
------
Yes, it probably does seem terribly cliche that she wears Pink.. but pink is my favorite color and as my first return character, it's her favorite color too. I like gold.. since silver would make her look washed out. Unfortunately the pack is silver, but it has a nice script so I'm planning on getting it altered sometime in the near future.

I have to agree about the chemise should be under something but otherwise I think she looks really nicely put together.
Especially as it's sheer. She's displayin' the goods! All of 'em.

The chemise plus stockings makes it looks like she's running around in her underwear with cloak thrown over, flasher-style. I really like the crystal necklace and the rosebud, those are excellent accessories for that whole theme.

She appears to be a Vaalor Elf.
She appears to be very young and taller than average. She has sparkling crystal blue eyes and ivory skin. She has waist length, curly strawberry blonde hair worn in two pigtails. She has a delicate face, a classical nose and slightly upswept pointed ears.
She is in good shape.
She is wearing a blush pink daisy tucked behind one ear, some ethereal black gossamer veils flowing sinuously from intricate platinum armbands, a narrow-waisted dark velvet corset with gossamer silk sleeves that flare at the wrists, a pair of low slung gossamer silk pantaloons draped in the front with a multitude of silver scarves, a sparkling silver charm anklet, some cuffed grey suede thigh-boots laced with braided veniom, and a violet silver-threaded backsack.

Very Harem Dancer. I like it a lot. The only thing I'm stuck on are the veils that flow from the armbands. Are those armbands like cuffs, on the upper part of the arm, or are they around the wrist or the forearm? In any case, they'd be overlapping with the sleeves from the corset. "Pantaloons" is a perfect word for those pants.

I know...I know...I'm so pathetic. I quit WoW to play GS again. Mostly because I can't specifically alter items to the way I want them to look. That was my favorite part about GS...the Barbie part! Anyway. I have decided to be a bit sneaky about the whole thing, but wanted to show off my new main, as Nalina will be locker fodder for various reasons.
She appears to be a Human of the Tehir tribes.
She appears to be youthful and short. She has dark-rimmed hazel eyes and olive skin. She has waist length, thick jet black hair worn in elaborate braids. She has a straight nose and slender wrists.
She is in good shape.
She is wearing a tribal-print rigid meshcloth robe, a wrapped natural linen top, a spiral-etched copper thumb ring, a weathered drawstring satchel, some flowing silk gauze pants, and a pair of braided rush sandals.
Top was quickly purchased in Lysistrata's shop, as I was patiently waiting for her to sell it someday, WOO HOO!
Anyway, my little gypsy girl, a wizard...as she considers herself in tune with the elements of the world and wishes to expand her gift.

Suppa Hobbit Mage
02-06-2005, 10:57 AM
You see Bantam.
He appears to be a Halfling.
He appears to be very young. He has sparkling chestnut eyes and tanned skin. He has short, silky copper red hair. He has a curled mustache.
He is in good shape.
He is holding a sullen black runeblade in his right hand and an icy blue vultite gladius in his left hand.
He is wearing some tiny vultite-toed boots, an enruned black alloy case clasped with an onyx knob, a onyx black vruul skin thigh-sheath, some tailored black leather pants, a black satin satchel with mist grey piping, a black satin gem pouch with mist grey drawstrings, a small black satin loot sack with a mist grey claw clasp, a tiny back-slung wire basket, a fitted black satin mantle with mist grey piping, a silver-bladed dagger medallion, some red Andelas-crested leather, a crystal amulet, and a slate grey buckskin hat.
One of my little guys;
>look rune
The sullen black runeblade appears to be ablaze with ethereal violet flames and is adorned with a multitude of cryptic Faendryl and Andelasite symbols that play across the hilt. Neatly etched along the blade is the word, "Heirloom." You also notice a small enchanter's glyph.
>look boot
Stiff, fire hardened leather protect the wearer's feet from all but the most determined rock on the outside, while the inside is padded with a thick cotton lining. A polished vultite cap protects the wearer's toes, while thick black bootstraps provide an easy grip for pulling on the boots.
>look thigh
Crafted from vruul-skin and held to the wearer with twin leather straps, the thigh-sheath has been dyed a black as dark as the deepest dwarven caves. A holster has been attached to the outer part of the vruul-skin, ensuring that any weapon held within is kept within easy reach of the wearer. A small onyx buckle inset with a small silver dagger secures the holster closed.
>look pants
Crafted from fine leather and dyed a deep black, these pants are been tailored to an exacting fit. The legs of the pants have been treated with oil and look to be quite supple, lending to easy flexibility despite the heavy construction. A simple silver infinity symbol button at the waist secure the pants closed.
>look pouch
The interior of this satin gem pouch is divided into tiny velvet-lined compartments, each approximately the size of a small gem. The pouch is currently tied tightly shut.
>look basket
This tiny basket has been woven with wires of imflass making it both light and shiny. Padding of pure white rolton fur is partially covered with soft brown deer skin on the straps and back of the basket. Several items can be seen, but not identified, through the top of the mesh, but the mesh tightens up as it gets closer to the bottom of the basket.
I need to flesh him out better, but I like it a little.

I wanted to but I refrained from putting Anticor's initials on the sporran.
The sporran looks like this:
Black leather has been riveted together to create the body of this pouch. The inside of the sporran has been lined with a thick coat of bear fur, cushioning its contents. An onyx-studded leather strap is secured to either side of the container, allowing enough length to be comfortably wrapped around the waist of a giantman. A heavy flap folds over the opening and is secured by small, crossed rolaren battle hammers pin.
It would have had a last line that said Burned into the underside of the flap are the initials "A.R." or something to that effect. I decided to leave it off though.

The perfectly cylindrical case is carved of cherry hued cedar offering a faint yet pleasant scent. Intricate hearts have been cut into the surface, overlapping in an elaborate chain, which winds sinuously around the case in a spiral. A simple flip-top lid has been inlaid with a pure silver heart and a trio of silk tassels to hold it securely closed.

I'm lost who was that directed to ?
The new Lysistrata, complete with brand new features. I tried to differentiate from her old features slightly now that there are many like them. Everyone and their mother has mismatched eyes now! So I went with contrasting. I would have changed the ever popular deep scarlet too, but a couple of important (to me) altered items have deep scarlet in the descriptions and I didn't want to bother with getting a couple words altered on several items.
You see Lysistrata.
She appears to be a Nalfein Elf.
She appears to be young and average height. She has subtly shadow-rimmed, contrasting grey and black eyes and fair skin. She has long, perfectly straight deep scarlet hair swept smoothly back from a sharp widow's peak. She has a delicate face and high cheekbones.
She is in good shape.
She is wearing a midnight black suede fedora, a nine-stranded emerald choker, a knee-length deep black sharkskin longcoat, a high-collared pale grey silk bodice with fitted sheer silk sleeves, a timeworn faenor Nalfein ring, a pair of slim black sharkskin pants open-laced up the sides, and a pair of tall back-laced boots.
I'm totally in awe of the eye/hair alterations. :wow:
Jolena

Heh. Seems you and I have some very similar alterations! But I promise I had no knowledge of the 'deep scarlet' or 'mismatched' eyes or even the gown before I had Jo's done! Since I developed Jo I had wanted her eyes to be mismatched (one green, one blue) and I've been changing the color of her hair around to try to find the perfect one and I just landed and stuck with deep scarlet. However, to my credit, you're the first person I've noticed with deep scarlet hair or the mismatched eyes!
~Jolena, who's feeling like she plageurized (sp?) even though she didn't mean to!
Oh, no suspicions like that. These things happen. I can't tell you how many times Uniana's player and I have come up with extremely similar ideas without consultation. But we all wanna be unique so I tried to hammer out something else.

How in the bloody fucking hell did you make off with 2 feature alterations in the time you've had since you've rerolled Lysistrata!?! It takes me eons to get away with one. Damnit woman, its not fair! <rips her own hair out>
All envy aside, it does look really nice, as I'm going to be somewhat following your "meticulous features" line you had. It wont be like it but I liked how broad it spanded, so I'm going along the same premise.
SHOULD I ever get the chance to have feature alters done again, this is what it will look like. (Assuming I don't change it 1000 times before hand)

She has a fine, courtly appearance enhanced by high cheekbones, and curvilinear merlot-tinted lips.
I sortof wanted her to look like me. (Only maybe...25lbs lighter! and better hair :( )

Strata was rerolled??!
Yeah, Strata was rerolled. I was going insane with boredom and ineffective bardliness. She's a paladin now, woo.
As for getting two feature alters so quickly... Eh heh! Hours of merchant sitting, of course. You know that. And I reeeeaaally like that chocolate-black hair. It makes me think of rich dark chocolate frosting. I'm making myself hungry...
Jolena, I tried getting something like that made where it was just a length of fabric wound around the chest. Most of the GMs refused it. All of them vetoed nouns like chestband, breastband, and other stuff like that. They practically screamed in fear at the word breast, heh. I wound up having to use the horribly unspecific noun "top". I hope you have better luck!

Meh, bards are uber post 50. Shame. I can't really see her being the Godly devout that I expect paladins usually are.
She had an epiphany. It's all secretive, though. Only a few people in the game know of her alignment let alone her new powers.

Hehe, I know her alignment and it is SO fitting. It really makes the character so much more in-depth. (which is hard to imagine because if you get to know the character of Lysistrata, she is very well developed.)
I've been reading up on the deities myself and started researching the one that you have her aligned with. Its a sad story to say the least, but for a nalfien character it is very fitting.

that is exactly what the top is, a length of silk that is wound around the chest but twisted inbetween the breasts for design. and it would fasten in the back I spose, although I could see it being something you would slip over your head like a tube-top would be. Anyhow, yeah I don't wanna stick with the word 'top' but I dont' think they would go for 'wrap-bodice' either. Who knows though, perhaps.

Maybe....torso-wrap or chest-wrap?
I tried chest-wrap but not torso-wrap. Of course, I didn't try nearly every GM, heh. One gets tired of constant refusal, hmph.

I just picked this dress up from Uniana's shop. I love it. It also holds a large amount hence the simplicity as I have everything I need crammed in there.
She appears to be a Nalfein Elf.
She appears to be of a tender age and shorter than average. She has long-lashed hazel eyes and fair skin. She has waist length, thick light brown hair. She has a delicate face, an upturned nose and high cheekbones.
She is in good shape.
She is wearing a finely wrought circlet with delicate vines of gold filigree, a keenly-bladed rosewood fan, a thin-strapped russet silk dress adorned with jagged-cut ginger chiffon swathes, and some delicate backless sandals.
Oo, that was part of her wood nymph costume. I really liked the kakore stuff she had that went with it. Goes nicely with the circlet!
Can't help it, have to show the new choker I got from Desian tonight.
You see Lysistrata.
She appears to be a Nalfein Elf.
She appears to be young and average height. She has subtly shadow-rimmed contrasting grey and black eyes and fair skin. She has long, perfectly straight deep scarlet hair swept smoothly back from a sharp widow's peak.
She is in good shape.
She is wearing a nightscape enameled silver choker, an antique silver Nalfein ring, a bell-sleeved black cherry satin houppelande with a pleated fan-shaped train, and a pair of black cherry silk slippers.
Choker
The polished silver cuff-style choker is two inches wide, and has been enameled artfully in black and a dozen different shades of grey and white. The nightscape scene depicts a rocky beach edged by a calm ocean with a pale full moon reflected on the surface of the rippling water.

She is wearing an oversized white gardenia tucked behind one ear, a single white pearl on a gold chain, a burgundy raw silk jacket adorned with a double row of gold buttons, a svelte vaalin-scaled corset, a fitted velvet plum skirt, and some delicate backless sandals.
Jacket is from Dex's shop. (Damn you!)
I think I've shown this before..and I think there's a typo in it somewhere...
Reminiscent of snakeskin, the corset carries a faint oily shimmer. Constructed on a buttery soft white suede base, the entirety of this garment has been covered with a layer fine iridescent white vaalin scales. Thin enough to flex under slight pressure, it is pliable enough to allow a wearer to move with ease. Carefully concealed underneath the scales, tiny matching vaalin grommets allow the corset to be conspicuously laced from the back with white suede cords.

Had to show off my sapphire outfit!
She is wearing some carved black lacquer hairsticks capped with sapphires, an opalescent crescent moon locket, a knee-length black silk cloak, a close-cut sapphire blue bodice with flaring silken onyx sleeves, some black silk onyx-buttoned gloves, a petite ruby promise ring, a pair of petite form-fitting black silk pants secured at the hip with a blue sapphire clasp, an elegant black silk thighband, and some black silk high-heeled half-boots
Jolena
02-28-2005, 02:47 PM
And another one that I was working on about a month ago. it finally came together!
She is wearing an exquisite narrow silver ferronniere with a suspended miniature fiery ruby crescent moon, a delicately flared linen dress, a strapless mistwood-boned corset, a spiralling mistwood armband and some darkened suede boots with tiny silver-traced ruby clasps.
corset:
This corset is sewn of soft darkened suede and is laced tightly up the back with silver wisps of silk through ornate crystal grommets. Strips of sanded mistwood create an elegant boning effect and a tiny deep red ruby jewel is placed in the top center of the garment, complimenting the bustline beautifully.
dress:
Homespun linen has been bleached to provide a snow-white color for the fabric of this light-weight garment. Featuring a scooped-neckline, the bodice forms closely to the torso with tapered lace shoulder straps adorned at the seam on the bodice with small deep red rubies. Flaring from the narrow waist, the ankle-length skirt falls in lightly creased pleats with a hand-tatted lace hem.
armband:
Carved intricately from a single piece of mistwood, the armband has been meticulously sanded and then finished with a light dye to accentuate the grain of the wood. Lightly etched on the turning band are different caricatures of each race of Elanthia.
Okay, this is in the way of being a ceremonial outfit, or for whenever she's feeling ostentatious. Which is, pretty regularly.
But I haven't finished it! I need something to go under the robe. The robe doesn't close.. it's more for draping and display than anything else. So you guys have to help me think of something to wear (robes or gown of some sort) under the jeweled robe. Long or short.
She is holding an illuminated starscape fan in her right hand.
She is wearing a nightscape enameled choker, a lavish open black velvet robe with tiny dark jewels winking from among the folds, (robes or gown of some sort), and a pair of soft leather slippers with gracefully pointed toes.
Fan:
The fan's frame is formed of slender, sharp-pointed black glaes slats, each with a star-shaped cut out near its tip. Alternating white and midnight blue zorchar stars fill each hole, glowing pale and cold through the translucent glaes. Thin paper webs between the slats, featuring a painted night sky scene. Illuminated in white zorchar, the full Lornon moon and tiny stars shine vividly against a blue-sheened ebon sky.
Choker:
The polished silver cuff-style choker is two inches wide, and has been enameled artfully in black and a dozen different shades of grey and white. The nightscape scene depicts a rocky beach edged by a calm ocean with a pale full moon reflected on the surface of the rippling water.
Oo, I dig the mistwood set especially. Mistwood is secretly one of my favorite woods in the game and I think it's underappreciated 'cause it doesn't glow and it's not evil-looking.

Yeah I'd have to agree on the gown rather then robe. I love the choker and the fan! And yeah, my mistwood set is really neat in my opinion. It's definately one of my more conservative outfits but I feel it has a lot of flare.

You see Lord Stunseed the Forestwalker.

He appears to be mature and taller than average. He has piercing golden-flecked deep green eyes and slightly weathered, deeply tanned skin. He has shoulder length, windswept chestnut hair accented by rich golden undertones. He has a strongly-contoured, clean-shaven face and broad shoulders.
He has a snarling puma tattoo on his chest.
He is in good shape.
He is wearing a dark grey velvet cape edged with hunter green silk, an opalescent crescent moon locket, a hunter green quilted velvet jerkin chased with gold threading, a hunter green raw silk shirt, a gold knotwork infinity band, a pair of dove grey doeskin breeches, and a pair of dove grey leather buskins.

My Ivas-worshipping Nalfein cleric. (Yeah, she's going to be super sexevil, its gonna be great.)
She appears to be a Nalfein Elf.
She appears to be of a tender age and shorter than average. She has thick-lashed stormy grey eyes and tanned skin. She has short, ash-blonde hair cut at random, wild layered angles that falls haphazardly to her jaw line. She has a triangular face, a straight nose and angular pointed ears.
She is in good shape.
She is holding an exquisite circular mirror ornamented in jewel-tone mosaic cloisonne in her right hand.
She is wearing a dark violet-hued moonflower tucked behind one ear, a thin black silk ribbon choker strung with alternating brilliant peridot and emerald cabochons, a gauzy malachite robe embroidered with thorny black roses, a wrapped natural linen top, some bloused black silk pantaloons, and a pair of slender black suede boots perched on low ebonwood heels.
Nalina...well she's on vacation, for a long time. (Until May when I get my damned fixskills, and even then I she might still be gone.)
I needed to play a spellcaster again for awhile.
*Edited because I just noticed that two of the things on her are Dextra's alters.
But this will change because I am a sucker and bought a ticket to the second Wavedancer run....I'm so weak.

Naessi's boarding outfit for teh WD:
You see Naessi Wintersun the Ritualist.
She appears to be a Human.
She appears to be very young and short. She has fiery golden eyes and fair skin. She has very long, shiny chestnut hair that cascades in loose waves down her back. She has a delicate face and high cheekbones.
She has a scarlet wisp of flame tattoo centered on her forehead.
She is in good shape.
She is wearing a delicate gold diadem, a floor-length ivory gossamer longcloak with golden satin piping, a thin gold spiral armband, a close-cut ivory linen bodice laced with wide cranberry ribbons, a long cranberry-hued messaline skirt, and some golden high heeled slippers.
Your two characters look great! I still haven't fully decided what my character's gonna wear on the ship. I know, I've been heinously remiss! But I've been down and out with pneumonia for the last three weeks and I've barely planned anything, ugh. 'cept that I'm not taking Lysistrata.
And heh, yeah, I liked that choker especially too. I think that's the real reason I sell my alterations, instead of hording them forever for their specialness like most people righteously claim. I like seeing my designs on others. You are all my models, muahahahaha!

My wedding gown design that I'd like to get done before Monday on the WD. If I can't get it done by then, I'll go with a long description off the shelf item I have instead.
A gossamer trained ivory gown: Fitted sheer ivory lace sleeves taper down to a loose v-pointed three-inch draped wrist edged with pearl-beaded scalloped lace, with additional beading upon the ruffled lace shoulders. The low-cut fitted ivory bodice has been designed with a long multi-layered gossamer train attached to the middle of the back. An intricate pearl-beaded lace overlay starts at the waist and flows to the hem of the floor-length silk skirt, with both overlay and skirt featuring a thigh-length slit in the front.
How elegant and ethereal looking! I'm especially partial to the sleeves.
So bored waiting for merchants. This is my newest Nalfein, still on the cruise:
You see Solorenza.
She appears to be a Nalfein Elf.
She appears to be an adult and tall. She has dark-rimmed pink albino eyes and alabaster skin. She has chin-length, feathery snow white hair styled in calculated disarray. She has high cheekbones.
She has an elaborate tattoo displaying dozens of tiny sanguine butterfly silhouettes on her back.
She is in good shape.
She is wearing a pair of sleek black-tinted glasses, a dainty gossamer satchel, a high-collared ivory satin bodice with a sheer silk mesh back, some fine pale linen pants with drawstring waist ties, and a pair of backless suede sandals.
I suck at describing clothing. I should have the ladies of the thread design my Tahir half-elf's outfit.
Edited for poor grammer.

You look yourself over with your own black eye...
You see Shimmerain K'aryeu.
He appears to be a Dhe'nar Dark Elf.
He appears to have come of age and taller than average. He has stunning, sparkling violet-flecked black eyes and pale skin. He has very long, flowing shadowy black hair plaited into two braids with a pair of black leather hair-ties woven through them. He has a delicate face, a small nose and long pointed ears.
He has a silhouetted rosebud tattoo on his wrist, and a ring of tiny black stars encircling his neck.
He is in good shape.
He is holding an elegantly contorted dark orase hunting staff with a worn leather-wrapped grip in his right hand and a black-veined grey villswood staff adorned with a circle of elegantly carved thorns in his left hand.
He is wearing a black-glazed mournbloom pomander on an ebony silk ribbon, a shadowy velvet cloak that enfolds him in stygian darkness, a set of hooded black leather armor, a rugged black leather backsheath adorned with rough-cut black deathstones, some pitch black leg-wraps, and a pair of matte black boots striated with pale grey hues.
>
Edited to add that those leathers were just altered by Orkys to look :
You are wearing a suit of elegant dark leather armor beautifully scaled with scorched grey plates

Wow, LOVE the tattoo..and the bodice is so perfect to show it off, I like that too!
So tired and coughy.. but I like this outfit too, heh, so I had to share.
You see Solorenza.
She appears to be a Nalfein Elf.
She appears to be an adult and tall. She has dark-rimmed pink albino eyes and alabaster skin. She has chin-length, feathery snow white hair styled in calculated disarray. She has high cheekbones.
She is in good shape.
She is wearing a pair of slick mirror-lensed spectacles, a dainty gossamer satchel, a soft cream cashmere midriff jacket, an open-necked white cotton shirt, a triangular garnet silk net hip-scarf, some fine pale linen pants with drawstring waist ties, and some pointed garnet satin slippers.
Spectacles:
Glistening platinum forms a thin wire frame for the spectacles, giving almost as clear a reflection as the lenses themselves. Meticulous polishing has ensured the lenses remain scratch-free and mirror-like, giving nothing away of what might be behind them.
Hip-scarf:
Thin twists of deep red silk have been knotted in an ornate fashion to form a square open weave net, with tiny silver bells all along the edges. The netting has been folded over to create a triangle, causing the unevenly spaced bells to chime against each other easily.
I'm just in love with her spectacles. I know they're not at all in period but I can't help it. They're just hot and I can't resist.

Something simple for sitting around in the sun.
You see Linsha Sinti.
She appears to be an Illistim Elf.
She appears to be very young and tall. She has tilted azure-limned pale green eyes and tanned skin. She has very long, silky mahogany hair bound into a twisted infinity knot by some ebony hand-painted hairsticks. She has long, gracefully pointed ears with a slight bend at the tips. She has full, softly curved pale pink lips.
She has a dark red broken heart tattoo on her wrist, and a dew-kissed flower tattoo on her back.
She is in good shape.
She is wearing a slender silver-rimmed crystal amulet, a pale crystal shard, a fitted black corset edged in atrous hand-tatted lace, some calf-high white linen pants, and some open-toed black satin slippers with a delicate ankle clasp.
Edit: Linsha won the piece of glowbark that was being raffled and it was made into a shield for my Ivas worshiping rogue. I had to share it.
It's a smoke-carved glowbark aegis.
The gleaming surface of the glowbark aegis has been treated with a red-tinted lacquer, giving it a sanguine cast. Against this background, a ring of interlocking smoke tendrils has been carved, forming a bas-relief pattern at the edge of the shield. Ground emerald dust has been sealed to the wood in some of the smoke tendrils, the inherent phosphorescence of the wood making the smoke seem to writhe with a life of its own during the proper phase of the moons.

I'm kindof bummed because gs4.org has very few of those "long description" alters listed. It only gives the description of what you see when you look on the shelf, rack, etc.
Prol'ly 'cause there are literally hundreds of shops. I know *I* would not have the patience to go through and inspect every one of them.

Jolena's wedding outfit from last night.
You see Lady Jolena.
She appears to be a Human.
She appears to be young and shorter than average. She has mismatched cerulean and smaragdine eyes and supple sun-toned tawny skin. She has hip-length, deep scarlet hair bound into a twisted infinity knot by some silk-tied ivory hairsticks. She has an elegantly sculpted face, a button nose and long, subtly-upturned lashes. She has soft, delicately-contoured and naturally-tinged deep rose lips.
She has a blooming moonflower tattoo on her waist, a tattoo of twinkling stars on her thigh, and a crescent moon tattoo on her neck.
She is in good shape.
She is wearing a delicate ivory silk veil edged with tiny seed pearls, an opalescent crescent moon locket, an ivory gossamer-train gown, some finely-stitched gossamer gloves edged along the cuffs with silk embroidery, a ruby red eahnor wedding ring, a petite ruby promise ring, some sheer silk stockings tied with lacey ribbon garters, and some ivory silk slippers tied with wide bands of soft ribbon.
gown:
Fitted sheer ivory lace sleeves taper down to a loose v-pointed, three-inch draped wrist edged with pearl-beaded scalloped lace, with additional beading upon the ruffled lace shoulders. The low-cut, fitted ivory bodice has been designed with a long multi-layered gossamer train attached to the middle of the back. An intricate pearl-beaded, lace overlay starts at the waist and flows to the hem of the floor-length silk skirt, with both the overlay and skirt featuring a thigh-length slit in the front.
wedding ring:
Expertly wrought, the band of this ring is molded to resemble a leaf-like pattern in all the hues of an autumn sunset. Tapping into almost every shade to be found in a flame, from the deepest crimson to the fairest orange, each delicate leaf has been shaded and highlighted with meticulous care. The fiery display winds its way up to a flawless white moonstone, melding itself perfectly into the band as though the ice-like stone supports, rather than battles, the fiery band.
There appears to be something written on it.
read ring
In the Common language, it reads:
"To live, love and die together."
You quickly remove some silk-tied ivory hairsticks from your deep scarlet hair, and return it to its normal style.
hairsticks:
Slender hairsticks carved from pure ivory have been carefully wrapped and tied in translucent sylvan silk. The sticks themselves have been intricately etched with a winding pattern of ivy vines, which seem to sparkle from the effect of the layers of colorless silk. Capping the end of each hairstick is a flawless freshwater pearl.

Stunseed's wedding outfit.
You see Lord Stunseed.
He appears to be a Human.
He is in good shape.
He is wearing a snow white eahnor wedding band, an opalescent crescent moon locket, an ankle-length cream silk cassock, a moonlight silver silk doublet with cerulean cording and crescent moon buttons, a narrow braided leather belt, some crisply pleated silk breeches clasped with a burnished silver buckle, and a pair of dark rugged boots adorned with a rolaren buckle.
wedding band:
Reminiscent of the snowy drifts of the north, the white eahnor band of this ring has been molded to resemble a ring of delicately frozen leaves. Each leaf seems captured an ice-like shell of vaalin. The centerpiece, a pure white moonstone, stands out like a perfect oval of ice surrounded by fiery sylvarraend ruby crescents.
cassock:
A layer of meticulously dyed cream-hued silk has been lined with a layer of satin with a hemstiching of silver tracery. Featuring dual knee-length slits, the cassock has a regal appeal to it with five modwir tree-etched silver clasps to secure the garment down along the right breast. The high collar has been embroidered with an intricate crescent moon on the left side and a modwir tree on the right.
belt:
Lengths of darkened and well-oiled, sturdy leather have been tightly hand-braided together and capped with thick leather end-wraps to form this belt. Sporting a thin rolaren clasp, the narrow belt has been painstakingly branded on each leather end-wrap; a modwir tree on one end and a crescent moon on the other. The brands are the only other adornments.
Don't you guys look awesome? Grandest ceremony yet performed on the ship! And probably with the best-dressed guests as well from what I saw of Satira, heh.

One of my new designs from the ship. Jolena's wearing it today.
You see Lady Jolena.
She appears to be a Human.

She has hip-length, deep scarlet hair caught in a casual roll at the nape of her neck by some silk-tied ivory hairsticks. She is wearing a beaded satin tote with narrow crystal-edged shoulder straps, an opalescent crescent moon locket, a wispy cyan chiffon blouse, a ruby red eahnor wedding ring, an ankle-length layered ivory skirt, and some ivory silk slippers tied with wide bands of soft ribbon.
blouse:
A layer of translucent cyan chiffon has been custom-made to fall in an unfettered design for this hip-length blouse. The long sleeves have been embroidered along the seams which are designed to rest upon the middle of the hand delicately in a strobilated fashion. Three small silk-covered oval clasps are placed evenly from the deeply plunged neckline to the lace-edged hem. A thin panel of ivory silk has been sewn from the bottom left point of the neckline to the right for added color.
skirt:
Dual layers of ivory silk fall in overlapping folds in a zigzagged design, with several knee-length slits at the hem for ease of movement. Cyan-dyed satin lines the inside of the outer layer of silk to add a flare of color and the low-slung waistline is secured with a small silver rose-shaped clasp. Designed to fit closely upon the hips and thighs, the skirt flares from the knees to hem when worn.
And yeah, everyone really dressed up. It was great! :)
This trip has just been too awesome, despite the pneumonia. A new day, a new outfit!
You see Solorenza.
She appears to be a Nalfein Elf.
She appears to be an adult and tall. She has dark-rimmed pink albino eyes and alabaster skin. She has chin-length, feathery snow white hair pulled back over one ear with a vivid red eahnor poppy barrette. She has a handsome sharp-featured face with distinctive cheekbones.
She has an elaborate tattoo displaying dozens of tiny sanguine butterfly silhouettes on her back.
She is in good shape.
She is wearing a pair of slick mirror-lensed spectacles, a dainty gossamer satchel, a sheer-backed ebony faille bodice with narrow three-quarter sleeves, a dark enameled eahnor signet ring, some hip-slung onyx satin pantaloons, and some lean black leather boots bound with winding tightly buckled straps.
Ring:
Sanguine eahnor forms the band of this ring, thin and flat with a frosted and unreflective surface. A round, enameled green crest is set upon the metal. An imperial frame surrounds the green field, and an ivory scorpion tail, stinger poised, spirals around a black rose to form the arch. A stylized red butterfly silhouette, oddly reminiscent of an hourglass on its side, sits in the vale. To the left of the crest is carved a striking alabaster scorpion; to the right is an onyx shark in profile.
And I even managed to put in a tiny hint of Solorenza's alignment.

She is wearing a sheer lace trimmed silk wrap, a lace-overlaid jessamy silk tote, a ruby red eahnor wedding ring, a strapless jessamy silk dress with a crystal-edged snow white lace underskirt, and some white silk high-heeled slippers.
Tote:
A thin layer of diaphonous ecru-dyed lace has been used as an overlay for the tote, and translucent ecru thread stitches the seams and adds to the contrasting colors. Soft jessamy silk forms the underlay for the lace and the narrow wrist straps. A tiny burnished silver clasp secures the tote shut.
Wrap:
Two lengths of flowing silk, dyed a subtle eburnean color, have been loosely stitched together with shimmering silver thread. Tailored so that the multiple layers fall in deep folds of silk, the wrap almost appears pleated when draped over the shoulders and forearms. Delicate lace, a shade lighter in color then the silk, has been stitched along the bottom edge for an added draping effect.

You see Naessi Wintersun the Ritualist.
She appears to be a Human.
She appears to be very young and short. She has fiery golden eyes and fair skin. She has very long, shiny chestnut hair that cascades in loose waves down her back. She has a delicate face and high cheekbones.
She has a scarlet wisp of flame tattoo centered on her forehead, and a tattooed symbol of Eorgina on her ankle.
She is in good shape.
She is wearing a delicate gold diadem, a golden-hued brushed suede cloak, a fiery golden trellis bracelet, a low-cut cream linen shift with elaborate golden embroidery along the ankle-length hem, and a pair of low-heeled cream suede slippers.
All that is off the shelf except for the diadem, which I've had for ages, and the shift.
The bracelet has a show: Thin angular bands of pure gold criss-cross over each other around the circumference of the bracelet. Set into each junction is a small polished firestone, with signature liquid crimson and black aspects that blend into the golden setting to create a very warm appearing piece of finery.

>examine my pend
The dragon pendant appears to be guarding the owner, keeping a watchful eye on the surroundings. As you peer into the dragon's eyes, which are black and hollow as night, you see a visage of an ancient time when its brethren ruled the land as their own.
>examine my axe-
Fine strands of silver veniom are stitched into the supple leather of the harness. Curious sigils wrought in silver form a central design. Below the sigils, the word "Breathstealer" is faintly etched in veniom.
>examine my shie
This magnificent hand-cut, forge-pounded golvern shield is tempered to full combat strength. The shield is edged with a band of gold, lightly etched with small diamond shapes, each point sitting atop the next. At the shield's center is an embossed bronze dragon inlay. The dragon is standing on its hind legs stretching its head upwards releasing a roaring burst of flames from its mouth. Thick tanned leather arm straps are securely attached to the shield with heavy steel rivets. You also notice a small enchanter's glyph.
>examine my back
Fine strands of silver veniom are stitched into the supple leather of the backpack. Curious sigils wrought in silver form a central design. Below, the word "Breathstealer" is faintly etched in veniom.
>examine my cloa
The fabric of the cloak has an almost glossy sheen to it and appears to be of an unusual weave of silk. Embroidered designs that from a distance appeared abstract resolve themselves into minutely rendered figures, their limbs twisted and writhing about one another. Veniom studs set in ivory line the cloak's peaked collar and hem, the stitched figures wreathing them.
>examine my plate
This suit of full plate has been blued to protect it against the elements. Deep gullies of silver have been engraved over the plates, depicting wild beasts engaged in elaborate battles. The inside of the armor has been padded quite thickly, obviously the work of a master. You also notice a small enchanter's glyph.
>examine my glove
Fine strands of silver veniom are stitched into the supple leather of the gloves. Curious sigils wrought in silver form a central design. Below, the word "Breathstealer" is faintly etched in veniom.
>examine my loot
You glance at your black leather lootbag. Fine strands of silver veniom are stitched into the supple leather of the lootbag. Curious sigils wrought in silver form a central design. Below the sigils, the word "Breathstealer" is faintly etched in veniom. Perched on top of the black leather lootbag is constructed from what appears to be a mix and match of broken bones is a miniature skeleton. The bones are drilled through and threaded with brass wire with an oversized ivory skull. Clasped within the bony arms is a tiny gold skeleton key.
>examine my trou
Fashioned from soft black leather, the trousers show clear signs of expert elven craftsmanship. Tailored for both comfort and mobility, they are lined with soft cashmere to add warmth. A hammered silver button fastens them at the waist, while reinforced pockets provide needed storage capacity.
>examine my boot
Fine strands of silver veniom are stitched into the hard leather of the boots. Curious sigils wrought in silver form a central design. Below, the word "Breathstealer" is faintly etched in veniom.

You see Chica Ebonspirit.
She appears to be a Paradis Halfling.
She appears to be youthful and extremely tiny. She has lilac-flecked willow green eyes and smooth, rose-blushed skin. She has long, loose ringlets of fiery red hair caught in a casual roll at the nape of her neck by some tapered platinum-set hairsticks. She has a dainty, heart-shaped face accented with delicate features and a smattering of tiny freckles across her nose and cheekbones.
She has a tiny Paradis crest tattoo inked upon her collarbone.
She is in good shape.
She is wearing a circlet of vivid jade lotus flowers interwoven with opaline Imaera's lace, an ivory silk shoulder-wrap, a fitted jade-green chiffon sundress accented with thin ribbon shoulder straps, an antique silver wedding ring, a light chiffon tote bag, a varnished tanik-beaded anklet, and some ankle-tied ivory silk sandals.
All the stuff without a long desc has a show, but I'm too lazy to cut and paste them all. Gotta show the wedding ring though:
>look ring
Cool-hued silver provides an exquisite setting for a large, flawless diamond set with small trilliant-cut blue sapphires on each side. Delicate scrollwork patterns the rest of the band in beautiful symmetry.

Dayumn. So many fine ass bitches in GS now.
No, seriously. You all look great. I am so pleased to see not only fashion but just common sense when it comes to dressing characters, is starting to play into the larger population. I only hope little Uniana can keep up because you all look simply marvelous.
And just a quick thanks to those peeps who were in the Wavedancer chat, you guys were just awesome in helping everyone with their ideas. Lots of love for you all.
P.S. I think we should start an alteration thread about "How to not be THAT GUY"

Haven't had her around lately and I feel the need to stir up some trouble.
I know its got a lot of linen in it but hey, its getting warm out and linen breathes!
You see Nalina.
She appears to be a Sylvankind of the Tyesteron D'ahranal.
She appears to be mature and very tall. She has intense, darkly-lashed pale citrine eyes and faultless china-white skin. She has waist-length, thick charcoal black hair pulled over one shoulder and gathered loosely with a delicately carved ivory haircomb. She has an angular face, a classical nose and slightly pointed ears. She has a series of small scars about either side of her slender throat.
She is in good shape.
She is wearing an austere silver collar, a silver-clasped woven straw purse, a natural linen robe gathered into a narrow pleated train at the back, a high-necked bodice of dark honey muslin fastened up the back with square golvern buttons, a sleeveless natural cotton shirt, a loose-weave raw linen tote, some drawstring pale linen pants, and some backless sheer silk sandals.
Currently I'm wear nothing and sitting in hot humid room on a leather chair.
- Arkans
Okay, just because I have fashion sense out side of GS, does not mean I can dress myself in GS (or maybe I can!) I'm kind of going for an imposing/military type look for Arkans. Judge it. Spare no words. Tell me what I should add/remove/ or whatever. Please give items that would help. If I'm okay, tell me that too.
You see Lord Arkans Z'dehn.
He appears to be a Faendryl Dark Elf.
He appears to be middle-aged and taller than average. He has piercing hazel eyes and fair skin. He has short, straight black hair. He has an angular face and a sharp nose.
He has a black onyx stud in the upper ridge of his left ear, a crescent moon tattoo on his neck, and a thorny rose tattoo on his arm.
He is in good shape.
He is wearing a black diamond studded mithril earcuff, a pair of black-tinted glasses, a stately black overcoat, an elven forged infantry shield, a crystal amulet, a sturdy leather sidepack, an onyx-spiked bronze bracer, some fingerless dark leather gloves, a diamond and vultite wedding band, some stiff black infantry leathers, some weathered black wool pants, and some leather infantry boots.
This heavy garment is designed to withstand the hardships of road or battle, yet maintain a regal air befitting a court visit. Less black so much as void of color, it is sewn of thick wool reinforced with black leather cross-straps. Secured with a small silver-clasped cinch at the waist, the carefully fitted coat is near floor-length and has straight-cut sleeves. A stiff upturned collar lends credence to the remarkable fashion sense of the tailor.
Roughly the size of a full-grown elf, this shield is meant to protect the wearer during combat. Various scratches and dents show signs of use, yet the Faendryl crest in the center remains undamaged. Worn by means of adjustable leather straps, the shield also has a slit at eye level on a tall elf to provide means to see the enemy. On the back of the shield, several small, painted Ashrim crests are each marked out with a large X to add additional testament to the prowess of the original owner. You also notice a small enchanter's glyph.
This leather sidepack has obviously seen its share of combat. Though the sidepack bears several scratches and slash marks, the leather itself still appears to be in good condition. The crest of the House Faendryl is stamped between two dull silver buttons evidently designed to keep the leather flap of the sidepack closed. It is meant to be worn by a leather strap slung over the shoulder.
Simple, dark, and austere, the leather armor is designed to strike fear into the heart of an opponent. The leather has been brought to a high sheen, lending an oppresive air to the wearer. Two polished silver skulls adorn each epaulet, and the left pauldron sports a single white sigil. You also notice a small enchanter's glyph.
The pants follow simple lines, while a slightly tarnished scarlet pentacle fashioned of vultite sits at the waistline, a red-rimmed heliodor set in the center. The pentacle motif continues down the outsides of the legs, embroidered in crimson silk, while the legs taper until the ankles are slim enough to be tucked into a pair of boots.
These black leather boots were made with fierce combat in mind. Made of heavy reinforced leather and covered by a thin layer of chain that drapes from the top and covers the durable laces, they are obviously able to withstand even the most bitter fighting. On the inside, the boots are padded to provide the wearer with comfort. The toe of the boot is capped with vultite which gives additional protection. A small Faendryl crest is emblazoned on the side of the boots.
Arkans backround and role-playing (in the simplest terms, nobody wants a history) is closest related to an SS officer. I took my wardrobe idea from them just because they look snazy. Give me you input.

Feature alter and amulet holder.
What kind of feature alter and type of amulet holder would you suggest?

Anything that isn't just a crystal amulet. I can't stand wearing them usually, so if yer COL and disciplined enough never to rub it, just get an amulet altered.
As for features, anything that isn't stupid vague, or cascading, or Emo. Something that will distinguish you from someone who isn't from the features Pavillion.
I have absolutely no creative talent for any of that. :(
I most likely would just remove the amulet as I never use it (even though I'm in Voln), but thanks for the heads up.

Eyes are a good basic feature alter to get, usually. I would try to think of what type of emotion or attitude you would most likely see in Arkans' eyes. That can go a long ways to making your character distinctive and help with some RP as well.
I try to give him a condenscending, stiff, and oppressive air around him. He'd be one that would have a child arrested and beaten just for acting "uncivilized". Not sure what adjectives could describe that for eyes.

I prefer really simple feature alters, so I'd suggest maybe "cold hazel eyes" or "stern hazel eyes," if you think you could get either past the GMs (some of them are touchy at the slighest hint of emotion, some of them will do anything. It's a crapshoot.)
Maybe something for the hair, too? He has short, straight black hair with not a strand out of place? He has glossy, straight black hair cut severely short?
As far as crystal amulets go, is the bracer of particular importance? I think between the earcuff, bracer, and wedding ring you've got enough jewelry already, but you could easy alter a wristworn amulet holder into a bracer.
Also, I vote for stowing the shield when not in use.
To give myself something to do while someone else tries to skirt the issue of my posts in another folder by pointing out things that have nothing to do with it... Here's my Palestran. The doublet is worded oddly, what with the run-on sentences, but I can live with it for the most part.
You see Luzia Ache-Silvestri.
She appears to be a Faendryl Dark Elf.
She appears to be venerable and tall. She has almond-shaped dark eyes and pale skin. She has long, glossy blue-black hair. She has a gaunt face and sharp pointed ears.
She is in good shape.
She is wearing a sleek eahnor aishan head pauldron, a deeply-cowled billowy black wool cloak, a long-tailed snug ebon suede doublet, a pair of thin black cotton half-gloves, some narrow pinstriped black wool breeches, and some lean black leather boots bound with winding tightly buckled straps.
Pauldron...
Several tones and shades of eahnor have been used to form the pauldron, and thick spidersilk straps are meant to secure it to the shoulder. The aishan's head shape, from narrow muzzle to flared ruff, has been distorted beyond even its normal demonic countenance; the wolfish face has far too many sharp teeth and a sinuous jointed tongue serves to curl around the wearer's arm. The demon's eyes are particularly well done, rendered in a range of metals designed to distort a viewer's mirrored image.
Doublet...
Simply and elegantly crafted, the waistcoat is cut to accentuate a sleek form by fitting close from the high collar to the hem that ends at the hips with a sharp point in the front, with long narrow sleeves. Long tails extend from the back of the doublet, giving it a formal air. Thin black silk cords lace the garment close down the length of the front.
Half-gloves...
Crafted to fit around the hands like a second skin, each glove features an open circle on the back of the hand and an extremely thin and supple layer of suede over the cotton covering the palms. A thin loop of silk goes around each wrist to fasten the gloves to the hands.

My current outfit. The pendant holds rose perfume (<3 Caliolia), the cloak has a working hood, and the robes are altered 4x dagger concealers. I have the same alter with my Xojium robes in Plat, so they might look familiar.
You are wearing a silvery grey orchid tucked behind one ear, a delicate ivory rosebud pendant embraced by etched silver leaves, a hooded green spidersilk cloak with subtly-hued embroidery swirling along the hem, some flowing deep green silk robes and some delicate emerald-hued sandals.
>look robes
The spun silk of these robes is dappled with iridescence, a hallmark of fine sylvan weave. A deep hunter green shade has been imparted into the material. The fluid cloth cascades in gentle folds from the shoulders to the hem, cut to fall to the ankle on a tall sylvan. The sleeves hang freely to the garment's knees. They are lined with a paler jade silk, while the same pastel adornment sits at the hem and neckline, embroidered in a stylized, swirling pattern. You also notice a small enchanter's glyph.

As I wanted the 1000th post in this thread
You are wearing a steel-clasped krolvin hide loot sack, an expertly crafted vaalin-bound shield, a heavy somber grey cloak bunched into voluminous folds, some short wool-lined leather climbing boots, a brass-buckled sturdy leather backpack, some belted coal grey pants, a set of regal black leather hunts, a hazy glass ring and a flawless Dhe'nari sigil suspended from a darkened chain of vaalin.
Various straps, buckles, and fastens are tightly secured to this armor to allow the user absolute control over its fit and positioning. The dark, lustrous leather has been meticulously crafted to provide the wearer a maximum range of unhindered movement. The leather's only adornment can be found deeply etched over the wearer's heart in the form of three golden rune-incised rings, the innermost wreathed in frost. You also notice a small enchanter's glyph.
The hunts are 7x Fulls, and will soon be up for sale.

He appears to be young and shorter than average. He has dark-rimmed sinister ice blue eyes and tanned skin. He has a bald head. He has an unshaven face and a small goatee.
He has a pair of dark steel hooked spikes in the ridges of both his ears, a tattooed symbol of Zelia on his neck, a dark steel spike in his lip, a black angel tattoo on his forarm, a white angel tattoo on his forarm, a blood-red rose tattoo on his finger, and a sigil-incised ivory bone bar in his left eyebrow.
He is in good shape.
He is wearing a silver-edged black diamond crown, a mein crescent moon earring, a pair of carved bone earrings, a tarnished silver chain, a rare inky black rose, a tattered moonlight silver robe clasped with a star emerald, a midnight-blue rolaren shield, a blood red backpack, a veniom threaded harness, a solid vultite armband, some leather bone-clasped gloves,an onyx-inlaid spiked vultite breastplate, a two-headed serpent-etched flask, a matte black pouch, a scaly green leather axe loop with a veniom-hafted etched rolaren waraxe hanging from it, a knee-length black silken loincloth, a flat mithril thigh-strapped case, a pair of steel-plated boots, and a fine leather belt.
The Waraxe
The dark blade of the waraxe is etched with the figure of a woman under a crescent moon, driving a stallion-drawn chariot. She has windblown hair and eyes that sparkle with a brilliant green fire created by small, faceted emeralds that have been set into the blade. The veniom haft has been scratched deeply with the barely discernable words "Freedom from Lucidity" carved in almost illegible common. You also notice a small enchanter's glyph.
damn too much stuff

OOOOH, so YOU'RE the nasty little dirt elf that was poking her nose into Nalina and Fox's argument the other day!
Hehe, I felt like such an ass too when I found out she didn't attack me. I was hiding, resting in the park and that damned animate found me. I made her guilty by default and while I found out later (by stupidly scrolling up later instead of in the beginning) I stuck to my guns but slinked out of there to save what was left of my dignity.
I'll be paying more attention to your little dirt elf now.
Along that same topic, I think Arkans is well-dressed. Too bad he's dark elf, as I enjoy his demeanor AND he's a good dresser (with some exceptions like the amulet that people have already given good suggestions on) but most of my characters aren't fans of dark elves. Make a non-darkelf to play. <nods sagely>
Ha, I saw the tail end of that argument that soon started involving others. My character translated Foxs's odd insults for the non-dark elves after she was gone.

You are holding a sonic cestus in your right hand and a long-handled dueling hook-knife in your left hand.
You are wearing a sapphire-inset silver hawk pendant suspended from a fine mithril chain, a sleek padded mandolin sling, a long slouched crimson jacket with the collar and cuffs turned up, a battle-worn black chainmail tunic, a forearm-strapped leather sheath, some pale linen hand wraps, a hip-slung imflass mesh lootbag, some stylish loose-fitted ebon silk pantaloons and some black mithril-banded sylvan tracking boots.
tunic:
You see your tunic. With a faded white shield insignia on the left breast, the tunic appears to be a veteran of many battles. Slash marks across the blackened links expose gleaming metal beneath, but the damage is mostly superficial. The slightly irregular appearance of the tunic at the shoulders and neck suggests that it may have once been part of a heavier suit of armor.
sling:
The sling consists of a large bowl-shaped pocket hanging beneath a series of horizontal leather straps. Secured with small mithril buttons, it appears that the straps could be quickly unfastened and withdrawn. Thick velvet pads the interior surfaces, and a sturdy shoulder strap is positioned such that the entire assembly can be slung within easy reach at the hip. Inlaid on the black leather body of the sling is a delicate silver swirl.
lootbag:
You glance at your imflass mesh lootbag. Light and spacious, the lootbag is an excellent means of transporting gems and other valuables. The tightly woven mesh retains the silvery-blue tint of natural imflass. A lining of soft ebon velvet cushions the interior, and a sturdy silver clasp secures the flap and guards the contents from prying eyes and sticky fingers. Perched on top of the imflass mesh lootbag is constructed from what appears to be a mix and match of broken bones is a miniature skeleton. The bones are drilled through and threaded with brass wire with an oversized ivory skull. Clasped within the bony arms is a tiny silver skeleton key.
hook-knife:
The hilt of the hook-knife has been extended to almost twice the length of the blade and tightly bound with black leather, affording finer control in battle. The back edge of the sharply curved silvery blade is serrated, and looks to aid in the deflection of incoming attacks as well as the infliction of more grievous injury. A radiant thunderstone set in the pommel perfectly balances the weapon. You also notice a small enchanter's glyph.
