*bows* Why thank you, both! I try my damnedest to keep her outfit on right and as little clutter as possible. :)
She's well-ordered and her theme is pleasing to the eye. The only thing wrong that I can spot is that she's not wearing anything under her hauberk and that's got to be uncomfortable.
I know a lot of people subscribe to the "Well, my armor covers everything that needs covering!" philosophy but having worn armor (albeit, only up to brigandine) in real life, I can tell you that there'd better be something under it and yes, there's room for some real clothing although gambesons and padded pants are better.

*nod* I'd have her wear undergarments, but seeing as the layered clothing system isn't in, I'd rather not (it'd clutter her up, in my mind). I do RP the fact that she has undergarments, you just can't see 'em due to the hauberk. :)

You could probably find or have altered a nice little chemise or something to go underneath it that is pinworn. OR have the show of your hauberk made to reflect the undergarment. I have something like that on Jolena's corselet show.

Don't know if I ever posted her or not, so here goes.
You see My Cleric.
She appears to be a Half-Elf from Ta'Ardenai.
She appears to be young and short. She has dark-rimmed green eyes and pale skin. She has raggedly cut, shiny platinum hair. She has a round face, a small nose and slightly pointed ears.
She has a crescent moon tattoo on her finger, and a tattooed symbol of Zelia on her finger.
She is in good shape.
She is wearing a droopy black velvet hat, a star and moon embroidered manteau, a garlic and moonflower amulet, a silver crescent moon torque, a simple silk bodice with small Zelian markings on the buttons, a tiny silver rat dangling from the bottom of a crescent moon, a silver Zelia statue, an obsidian crescent moon medallion, a brushed black velvet scroll satchel, a scorched velvet wand harness, some scarred old double leather, a rat-shaped case, some jet black leggings, and some high leather boots.
>look hat
You carefully examine your black velvet hat. Practically folding in upon itself, this hat is so crumpled it's a wonder it stays on the head. The pointed top droops down to the point of hanging in front of the wearer's eyes. Hanging from the tip of the point is a silvery crescent moon charm. (scripted, too)
>look satchel
A small clasp etched with the symbol of Zelia closes this soft, worn satchel. The inside is lined with black felt and has several small loops designed to hold scrolls for safe keeping and easy sorting. The strap is embroidered with tiny crescent moons in contrasting silver thread.
>look leather
This fitted leather armor has been painstakingly oiled to maintain its supple touch. Bold runes of Ardenai have been burned chaotically into the armor, with no semblance of order to them at all. Interconnecting crescent moons edge the leather at the seams, weaving in and out of the runes. You also notice a small enchanter's glyph.
>
Ahhh that's the crazy little bitch, right?
I remember that rat, Zelia and garlic stuff anywhere.

Yes, that's her.
I'm SO obsessive about my characters' appearance that I can't even buy better armour or a db item.
I can't even wear a mica amulet which I feel every sorcerer should wear.
Plus I refused to wear my characters giftbox item.
How crazy is that!?

She appears to be a Nalfein Elf.
She appears to be very young and shorter than average. She has piercing hazel eyes and fair skin. She has very long, thick auburn hair pulled back over one ear with a vivid red eahnor poppy barrette. She has a dainty face, a straight nose and small pointed ears.
She is in good shape.
She is wearing a high-necked white chiffon tunic embroidered with scarlet knot work along the hem and cuffs, a delicate silver-clasped handbag, a silver filigree ring bearing a jade and black opal rose, a three-banded black sable belt, some sleek black leather pants, and a pair of slender black suede boots perched on low ebonwood heels.
Hopefully she'll have some feature alters to speak of once Ebon's comes. But with it being free this time around, I don't see that as happening. :(

love the boots and the robe. I have a ring just like that btw. :)
You see Lady Michiko Lawyk the Woodswoman.
She appears to be a Half-Sylvan.
She appears to have come of age and short. She has long-lashed, expressive twilight blue eyes and flawless, creamy skin. She has long, silky raven black hair that flows down her back, curling at the tips to brush against her hips. She has a finely contoured aristocratic face, an upturned nose and petite, delicate ears that taper to slight points.
She has a series of intricately etched slender silver rings in the ridges of both her ears.
She is in good shape.
She is wearing some sharpened silver hairsticks tipped with vaalin spheres, a thin chain-link silver necklace, a back-split black brocade longcoat, an intricate silver phoenix rampant pin, a svelte vaalin-scaled corset, a hazy glass ring, a pair of low-slung fitted black linen pants, and a pair of low-heeled cream suede slippers.
hairsticks - amulet holder
necklace - mana enhancer
longcoat's show has been shown before
pin - enhancer from the dhu
corset - :heart: Jesae for selling it!!
ring - enhancer from the WD
pants - short alter
slippers - ... off the shelf

OMG someone is wearing one of my designs and showing it on here! <faints>
I swear, most previous alters I've sold I never see up on here or on the official boards as part of people's outfits. I think they're just buying them to throw them down the well. :(

Does armor fit into any of these outfits anywhere, or does everybody just take it off while in town now?
they are women, dont ask...

Somehow I expected this answer. I think it's funny, that some people go through all that just for the sake of fashion. I can honestly say I wouldn't have the patience after doing it once. It's definetly not a bad thing, I just couldn't do it.
Shari

I think it depends. For me it really is dependent on what the character's profession is. Nalina (my rogue) wore her armor almost all the time, save for when she was wearing a gown. Mostly because she never knew when someone was waiting in the shadows (or invisible) to blast her head off.
Right now I'm playing a cleric. She's level 4 :D . Don't really need armor to hunt rats, and when she hits 10 I'll have her in armor. I'll just make sure she's wearing clothes that are realistic with armor, so...no corsets and wispy skirts.
Is it a pain in the ass to do this? I think I've gotten so used to it I hardly notice. But I DO sometimes forget to put armor on before hunting and get my ass handed to me.

Heh, my warrioress never goes without armor, just because it's such a part of her that she'd feel completely nekkid without it. :D (Of course, none of my other characters go without armor either, no matter if they're in town or out of town...just habit, I suppose.)
Lysistrata used to be armorless almost constantly, when she was a bard. After all, if she needed it, she could just sing some up. But now that she's a paladin, and an evil one at that, she's rarely without it unless she's in a gown.

Of the four (female) characters that I play regularly, two wear their armor all the time (though one occasionally takes it off to dress up for a formal event), one basically doesn't own armor to begin with, and one sometimes encorporates it into her outfit and sometimes doesn't.
I hate having to remember to go to my locker to change before hunting, and the encumberance involved in hauling around extra clothes is a pain.

I'm lucky enough that Uni has a high enough DS that she can usually get away with wearing robes or cloth armor. If I'm specifically going out hunting or on a special quest-type thing, I have corsets that are armor.

I'm not sure I like it -- I'd rather have a flower than the feather, if I could just find one I liked -- but here's the sylvan for the moment. All off the shelf except the bodice base.
She is wearing a slender green feather quill tucked behind one ear, a luminescent ivory organza cape with a carved modwir clasp, a simple sage green chainsil bodice with thin ivory linen sleeves, a pecan-dyed modwir bark wristband inked with a doe design, an elegant hip-tied sage green linen skirt, and some ivory ankle-laced sandals.

To answer the armor question, Naessi is a priss. She refuses to wear any leather armor, so she has a few gowns that are 4x, and if she's not wearing armor-worn stuff, she has a set of robes that are 5x. When she goes out hunting, the robes go on and are removed as soon as she steps inside the gate.

You see Jesae.
She appears to be a Sylvankind of the Lassaran D'ahranal.
She appears to be immature and shorter than average. She has large crystal green eyes and fair skin. She has waist length, wavy silver blonde hair with lighter streaks. She has a dainty face, an upturned nose and small pointed ears.
She is in good shape.
She is wearing some exquisite silver earrings hung with a complex chandelier-like web of jet beads, a pair of fingerless black lace gloves, a delicate silver-clasped handbag, a black-worked grey silk gown with slender onyx-beaded straps, and some black silk high-heeled slippers.
I'm having a really hard time finding appropriate accessories for this outfit, it looks like she is in mourning! There's a cape in Icemule I want to get for her but I think its a bit warm yet in the Landing to wear it, or do you think it matters?
Jolena
08-30-2005, 01:53 AM
Heehee! I just sold a pair of gloves just like those in my shop.
And I loooove those earrings.
As far as the cape, I don't think it matters much. Depends on the fabric and whether it's at night or during the day as well for me when deciding.

Seeing that Eryael is back now and it's all out of the bag, I figured I should dress Uniana accordingly:
You see Uniana.
She appears to be a Nalfein Elf.
She appears to have come of age and shorter than average. She has violet-shadowed, pale lilac eyes and ivory skin. She has long, silky black cherry-hued hair twisted into loose ringlets. She has a delicate face and thin eyebrows. She has lush carmine-tinged lips. She is inked with a twining vine of thorn-riddled incarnadine roses upon her face.
She is in good shape.
She is holding an exquisite bloodjewel mirror in her right hand.
She is wearing a twisted eahnor filigree circlet, a dagger-set alabaster heart symbol, a svelte long-sleeved ivory linen kirtle with a thin low-slung silk belt, a bisected slender eahnor band, a flawless ivory censer, and a pair of soft alabaster slippers.
Circlet: Two parallel sections of brilliant scarlet eahnor twist together in a sinuous line, reflecting a blood red glow as the light strikes it. A pair of subtlety shaped thorns deviate from the continuing pattern of the circlet to gently wrap around either temple, bringing attention to the wearer's eyes.
Band: Rich sanguine eahnor has been formed into a thin band, the color reminiscent of freshly spilt blood. The ring is divided down the center by a circle of ivory, bisecting the red metal. Upon the pale white surface, faint cracks are visible, attesting to the age of the piece.
Censer: Crafted from flawless ivory, the censer bears a ring of intricately-detailed thorns -- their intertwining, curved forms serving as holes to allow incense to escape. Adorning the lid of the censer is a brilliant rendition of a rose comprised of thousands and thousands of tiny bloodjewel shards. A subtle flaw mars the very core of the glimmering rose, revealing the faint image of a dark stiletto plunged within its very heart.
The circlet and band both have a great deal of purpose behind their designs which I love. And the censer was created by Verrath.

Heh...well, this is all going to seem really weird...
That isn't a tattoo, it's one of Callista's brushes I got made at last EG. So it's nice when I'm in the mood, but not permanent. It last 24 IG hours, I *think*. Roses and thorns are specifically Eryael's trademark.
The story behind the circlet is Uniana used to have just pale lilac eyes, until Eryael kinda...borrowed her heart as a hiding place. Eryael has warm violet eyes so the violet started to take over the coloring of Uniana's. I tried to hide it at first, but now she wants to display it proudly. Thus the thorns pointing to them.
As for the band, it was given to her when she went to tell other Mularosians in the City-States about the situation after Eryael was attacked by the Resistance. One young acolyte thought she was suffering the worst of every one and gave her the band that has a strong Mularosian history.
It kinda seems like a bit much, but I've had a long time to plan. >_< Not to mention, I'm really obsessive.
I'd like to 'borrow' some part of the hotness which is Uniana for my character.
:rolleyes: :thumbsup:

New day, new I <3 Eryael outfit.
You see Uniana.
She appears to be a Nalfein Elf.
She appears to have come of age and shorter than average. She has violet-shadowed, pale lilac eyes and ivory skin. She has long, silky black cherry-hued hair secured into a spiral knotted bun by some twisted platinum hairsticks. She has a delicate face and thin eyebrows. She has lush carmine-tinged lips.
She is in good shape.
She is wearing a marble dagger pierced heart symbol, a scarlet bliaut with the skirt cut in a repeating rose pattern revealing grey silk beneath, a platinum signet ring, and some ankle-tied pale grey silk slippers.
Show on the ring: This wide signet ring is wrought of pure platinum and polished to a high, pristine luster. Set into the paleness of the metal is thin petal-cut piece of deep crimson bloodjewel. Into this sanguine cradle, a slender shard of dark amethyst, which has been carved to resemble a thistle, has been inlaid.
Eventually I'll get the symbol altered because Weatherby scripts kick butt!

You see Hadya the Sacristan.
She appears to be a Human of the Tehir tribes.
She appears to be extremely young and short. She has distant, long-lashed viridian hued eyes and copper skin. She has soft sheened, dark sable hair worn in a number of slim braids that fall past her thighs. She has a dainty face, a freckled nose and a narrow waist. She has a jagged scale-indented scar across her neck.
She has some tattooed argent ophidian designs adorning her left temple, a small blackened bone spike in her lip, and an intricate tattooed pattern that covers the back of her hands.
She is in good shape.
She is holding a bronze-worked pale faewood staff in her right hand.
She is wearing an emerald-set slender bronze diadem, a grey-edged ebony facial veil, a sinuous emerald serpent symbol, a deeply hooded dark silk burnoose, a slim-fitting argent suede bodice with flowing grey linen sleeves, a sleek bronze-boned corset, a carved copper asp ring, a linked bronze disc hip-belt, a small bronze hammered scale sheath, some billowy twilight grey linen pants, and some black leather sandals.
>l corset
The leather of the corset although sleek, shows signs of wear and mars of battle. The shape of the corset is cut exceedingly narrow, and looks as if it fits a very slender frame. The bronze hue of the boning is off-set by a serpentine ivory inlay, which snakes between them and around the chest of the corset. You also notice a small enchanter's glyph.
>l ring
s>
The ring is petite and is made to fit a slender finger. Oxidation has taken place between the intricately wrought scales, leaving a verdant hue and giving dimension to the polished surface of the scales. The ring is fashioned to look like an asp devouring its tail. Its cold, cruel stare is fashioned from two small emeralds which flash viridian fire when hit by the slightest light. Etched across the back as a stern reminder are the words "None for myself, all for The Great Serpent."
>l sheath
Thin scales of hammered bronze layer the surface of this narrow leather sheath in overlapping rows that contour to its shape like a second skin, minimizing the possibility of snags on clothing. Though polished to a high gleam, the edges of the scales have been burnished, and the darkness adds an extra layer of depth to the piece. Along the mouth of the sheath, a trio of dye-tinted bone rings have been set - in order, they are black, white, and a vivid shade of viridian.
Siolan did the design of the sheath which goes with my knife which I absolutely love. Siolan is so good with weapons I hope she is at Ebon's Gate. Though I probably won't see her due to Hadya being parked in Serpantis' tent.

You see Lady Landrai Verethundi the Loresinger.
She appears to be a Loenthra Elf.
She appears to be in the bloom of youth and shorter than average. She has long thick lashes framing her bright sapphire blue eyes and flawless rose-blushed skin. She has waist length, silver blonde hair flowing down her back in a mass of beautiful silken curls. She has an elegant, softly-contoured face, a classical nose and dimpled cheeks.
She is in good shape.
She is wearing a set of gold and topaz sunflower hair-ornaments, a rose-shaped platinum locket, an ivory silk neckpouch, a platinum wedding ring, a flawless white linen cotehardie with silvery sunflowers stitched delicately along the sleeves, some delicate gartered silk stockings, and some ankle-tie crystal-heeled slippers.
>look in my locket
In the platinum locket you see a tiny portrait.
>exam por in my locket
Framed in platinum, the portrait depicts a handsome couple standing in a forest glade. The young man's long, black hair is tied back with an ebon silk ribbon. His lady's silver blonde tresses curl gently around her softly contoured face and are adorned with tiny hair clips trailing a multitude of silken ribbons. The two gaze at each other lovingly, his grey-green eyes meeting her sapphire blue ones as the sun streams through the leaves of the trees surrounding them in pale beams of light.
From our wedding...
an ivory silk neckpouch~>exam my nec
Crafted from soft ivory silk, this pouch is stylish yet practical. Rich cerulean velvet lines the interior, keeping the valuables inside safe from harm. A row of tiny silver roses is embroidered along the seams. The opening is secured with a small platinum clasp set with faceted pale water sapphires. A slender silver ribbon is sewn to the pouch's corners, allowing it to be slipped over the neck.
Stockings~exam stock
Intricately spun patterns grace the cream-hued lace of these delicate fine silk stockings. Sprays of tiny white satin rosebuds embellish the tops, which are fastened at the outer thigh with slender cerulean ribbons tied in a dainty bow.

Pale sapphires embedded in bas relief on the front of the band are delicately carved to form an exquisite rose. The open flower is inset with tiny, delicate crystals to create the effect of morning dew upon the petals. An elegant tracery of leafy vines is etched along the back of the band, and an inscription graces the inside.

I love this thread. It reminds me, after hours of looking at badly dressed, ill-organized characters, that there're still some beautiful people out there. Here's Strata tonight, with one of her simpler outfits.
You see Lysistrata.
She appears to be a Nalfein Elf.
She appears to be young and average height. She has subtly shadow-rimmed contrasting grey and black eyes and fair skin. She has long, perfectly straight deep scarlet hair swept smoothly back from a sharp widow's peak. She has a delicate face and high cheekbones.
She is in good shape.
She is wearing a peridot-set bronze circlet, a lustrous absinthe satin kirtle laced down the front and back with bronze chains, and a pair of pointed silk slippers.

The slim-downed Drinin (removed some of my lootable stuff a few months back when I started hunting OTF).
It is difficult to get a good look at Drinin due to the number of mirror images of him nearby.
You see Drinin.
He appears to be a Sylvankind.
He appears to be an adult and average height. He has dark-rimmed crystal blue eyes and pale skin. He has shoulder length, tied back black hair with a single thin braid hanging to the left of his face. He has a delicate face and sharp pointed ears. A faint scar runs from his left temple to the base of his jaw and he has blackened and cracked fingernails on his right hand.
He has a group of sigils tattoo.
He is in good shape.
He is wearing a gold ring, some fingerless black plated gloves, some black plated arm guards, a black shield harness pin, a darkened leather blade harness, some spiked black plated mail, a dark shadowy cloak with details that obscure when you look at it, a silver-edged black hip-worn case, some black plated leg guards, some reinforced black leather pants, and some thick-soled weathered black boots.
And my newish bard:
You see Adais.
He appears to be a Dhe'nar Dark Elf.
He appears to be an adult and average height. He has almond-shaped grey-green eyes and dusky skin. He has long, glossy white hair worn in a ponytail. He has a delicate face and high cheekbones.
He is in good shape.
He is wearing a black silver-edged mask, an inky black scarf, a crystal amulet, a gold ring, some fingerless leather gloves, a swirling sonic barrier, a well-oiled black leather harness, a black leather shirt, a cobweb-covered jet black spidersilk cloak edged with silver silk trim, a black-runed grey faewood buckler, a sturdy dark leather tool satchel, some soft dark leather trousers, and some supple dark leather boots.
Ah, I saw the bard before and thought to myself that I liked his name and buckler!

The buckler is from a playershop. I paid like 50k for it. The name was generated from gs4's name thing. One guy read it as, 'A-dais'. I always looked at it being pronounced as, 'Ah-dah-ees (as in piece). Too bad I can't have an apostraphe, Ada'is.

>l naessi
You see Naessi Wintersun the Ritualist.
She appears to be a Human.
She appears to be very young and short. She has fiery golden eyes and fair skin. She has very long, shiny chestnut hair secured into a spiral knotted bun by some ebony hand-painted hairsticks. She has a delicate face and high cheekbones.
She has a scarlet wisp of flame tattoo centered on her forehead, and a tattooed symbol of Eorgina on her ankle.
She is in good shape.
She is wearing a velvety soft deep black rose tucked behind one ear, a dark ebony talisman, a pair of thin black ribbon wristlets, a daring grey silk bodice embroidered along the neckline with black roses, a soft black sable shoulder bag, a black charmeuse silk skirt, and some fine black sable slippers.
Talisman: The talisman has been carved from four separate pieces of ebonwood, each cunningly crafted to fit together in an unbroken circle. Dirge-vaon vines writhe among skulls, serpents, flames, and other symbols of Lornon engraved along the edges, and, at the center of the talisman, the rainbow hues of a small white opal sphere glimmer softly like a miniature moon caged within the blackness of night.
Skirt: Silky black fabric forms this slim tapered skirt which flares enough to be flirty yet is long enough to be tasteful. When worn, the wide waistband ensures a low-slung fit around the hips while showing off the contour of the wearer. Thin strands of silver gossamer have been stitched carefully along the hem in a pattern of stylized roses in varying stages of bloom.
Bag: This bag appears to be roomy enough to hold a multitude of possessions. Tiny silver rivets have been used on the bottom, reinforcing it enough to carry a heavy load. The top is clasped with a simple square silver buckle etched with the initials "NRW".
I can't take credit for this skirt and bodice, I bought them from their fabulous designer, whom if she decides to take credit can glady have it. And thx! :heart:

The tattoo is permanent, it was a custom one done by Scant when he came to the IMT pub. Naessi is a real zealot. She prizes religion above all else (even clothes!) and thinks that HER religion, of course, is the best. But as an example, she would prefer to befriend even a Lumnis worshipper over someone who just didn't have any faith at all.
It's kind of a fun RP choice for me since I'm so non-religious IRL. I got the tattoo put on her forehead because it's hardcore. As for the Eorgina symbol stock tattoo, ugh. I wish I could get rid of it, but you have to have an "Eorgina" symbol to get into the gates of the ritual garden at Eorgina's temple in Solhaven. I don't like carrying one around with me, because I don't always wear one, so this is just the most convenient way to handle it.

Lysistrata doesn't usually do overt symbols, so she just has a leather wristband branded with Eorgina's name that she carries around. I, personally, would like her to have a tattoo but her spy training from her youth goes against having that sort of identifying mark, sadly. ;_;

Hadya has a religious tattoo, it is on her back so it is concealed. She has to show it for you to see it.
a talon swept tattoo on her back.
>l tat
Long, black talons have been inked into the skin, starting along the back of the shoulders and curving around to the lower back. The bloodied talons are masterfully created to look as if they pierce into the skin, ripping the flesh cruelly. Within the center of the image is a depiction of a dark man with reptilian features, who appears to be the eater of souls himself, Luukos.
This is pretty overt thats why its on her back, Hadya is a very modest person, so really the only time people see this tattoo is if she's going through the doors of the temple and it pulsates.

More funtime with Evil DA Barbie.
And since we are all being wicked and awful, I pulled out one of my favorite pieces, the robe from the psionist Harith!
She is in good shape.
She is holding a recurved pale glowbark longbow in her left hand.
She is wearing a bloodstained heavy silk robe edged with sanguine pearl teardrops, a short jacket of sheer white gauze, a dagger-set alabaster heart symbol, a side-slashed dark carmine corset, a slim white jacquard skirt with a long pleated train underskirt, and a pair of soft alabaster slippers.
Show on corset:
Crafted from a rippled, shimmering satin stained with a dark carmine hue, the corset bears numerous, angled slashes along its sides -- revealing shades of dark leather underneath. Rows of eyelets punctuate the matte black hue of the leather, each rimmed in lustrous eahnor -- its natural hue resembling a fiery halo of scarlet flames as they ascend upwards along the sides of the garment. A ring of curved ivory thorns rises up from the uppermost edges of the corset, glistening with the faintest light.
Skirt is laceable.
And since we are showing off our ink, here is Uni's. It was one of the first things I got done with her as it basically defines who she is. It's been altered somewhat, but I think I've finally come to a design that fits her perfectly.
An expansive thistle tattoo ~
A swirling vortex of scarlet rose petals has been inked onto the creamy, ivory skin of Uniana's back, spanning the distance between her shoulder blades. Within the shadowy cradle of petals, the large, feathery head of a dark amethyst thistle is depicted, the spine-covered bulb beneath it pierced by a darkly silhouetted dagger thrust into its center. The long stem of the thistle, punctuated with wispy plumed leaves, spirals languidly down to the small of her back where it ends in a sharply painted point.
Is that the robe Strata sang to? I don't remember what it looked like in all the furor. But I really dig the corset, I don't think it'd seen it before. You should already know how much I like that jacket. >_< If you ever give it up, I claim the first chance to buy it off you.

Nah, that robe had hawthorn blossoms on it. I think um Turinrond or someone has that one, I forget. The one that was sewn from like bone slivers, she put it on some sailor. This one was fetched off her dead body and then sold by some Vaalorian. Yay for honor, right? I was just lucky enough to realize what it was.
And the corset I love, even tho, it's pretty showy. But now is the time to be showy.

Well, since I'm trapped in Solhaven....here is one of my evil outfits.
You see Jesae.
She appears to be a Sylvankind of the Lassaran D'ahranal.
She appears to be immature and shorter than average. She has large crystal green eyes and fair skin. She has waist length, wavy silver blonde hair divided into several elegantly twisted sections and adorned with some glittering dark emerald hairjewels. She has a dainty face, an upturned nose and small pointed ears.
She is in good shape.
She is holding an exquisite circular mirror ornamented in jewel-tone mosaic cloisonne in her right hand.
She is wearing a thin black silk ribbon choker strung with alternating brilliant peridot and emerald cabochons, a delicate black silk wrap, a sleek alligator skin corset with external rolaren boning emphasizing its strong hourglass shape, a delicate silver-clasped handbag, some hip-slung onyx satin pantaloons, and a pair of slender black suede boots perched on low ebonwood heels.
I have a FAN-TAS-TIC design for a dress for her Ivas-worshipping. A few of you have already seen it, its going to be badass if someone actually makes it (Kyalia comes to mind). Damn, can't wait for Ebon's gate. I need to get her tattoo remade since she was rerolled.

I was bored.
You see Linsha Sinti.
She appears to be an Illistim Elf.
She appears to be very young and tall. She has tilted azure-limned pale green eyes and pale skin. She has very long, silky mahogany hair bound into a twisted infinity knot by a pair of ebony hairsticks. She has long, gracefully pointed ears with a slight bend at the tips. She has full, softly curved pale pink lips.
She has a filigreed dark bloodjewel ring in her lip, and a blood red rose tattoo.
She is wearing a sigil covered black silk cape, a marble dagger pierced heart symbol, a suit of glossy black curvaceous leather lined with razored steel studs, a silk witchwood-boned corset, a delicate sheer silk chemise, a hazy glass ring, a pair of tight black leather pants, and some black low-heeled sandals.
Corset:
Appearing almost black, this garnet colored silk corset is beautifully textured with a raised pattern of thorned roses. Lacking straps for proper support, thin witchwood boning is used as an external casing. Each piece is darker than found in nature and has a lustrous, semi-glossy shine from being sanded smooth and stained with tea leaves. To help in creating a narrow waist-line, wide black ribbons threaded through tarnished silver grommets line the back of the corset.
Really like the corset!
I was bored as well, so here's Lysistrata's outfit for the day. It's all been seen before 'cept for the boots. I just like the boots.
She is wearing a midnight black suede fedora, a nightscape enameled silver choker, a half-buttoned black suede longcoat, a sleeveless open-necked white cotton shirt, a pair of tight black leather pants, and some sharp-toed glossy crocodile skin boots.

OMG YAY! Congrats honey!
Oh and here is what Uni is wearing. It's kinda formal, but she is in a celebratory mood. And I just realized that even tho the robe looks kinda lame it works because it's raining blood in Solhaven 24-7.
She has a thin scar of delicate intertwined thorns on her neck.
She has a fractured and bleeding right hand.
She is wearing a pair of gold rose-engraved hairsticks, a bloodstained heavy silk robe edged with sanguine pearl teardrops, a lovely eahnor and gold pendant, a backless cardinal dupioni silk gown accented by a flowing side train, a traditional Nalfein eahnor ring, a scarlet-swept soft cashmere pouch, and a pair of claret brocade slippers.
The gown is legworn so normally when she just wears that, it shows her tat.
The pendant was a gift from Yukito.
Show: The extremely long chain suspending the gleaming crimson metal has been fashioned of polished bits of ruby and sparkling beads of gold. The eahnor itself has been detailed in pure gold and carefully shaped into a sinuous infinity knot that endlessly loops around itself. From the length of the chain, it could be ascertained that this pendant is meant to be worn draped down the back, most likely paired with a gown of the appropriate cut.
The ring used to belong to the cuz. <3 I need the pouch because right now I cannot be without all my scrolls and such. Sad days.
And the scar is a recent gift from Eryael. Yeah, it made me spooge.

She is wearing a lustrous fire pearl third eye jewel, a firestone and vaalin-link collar, a high-collared grey silk gown trimmed with glittering vaalin scales along the hem, and a pair of grey silk slippers.
Jewel:
A vivid red fire pearl has been meticulously shaped into the form of a petite, stylized flame with a red-gold golvern setting encircling the flame with a larger but similar silhouette. A fine chain of the same metal suspends the lustrous symbol in such a way that it would rest on its wearer's forehead over the third eye.

I don't think I've shown this one before, so here goes!
You see Jolena.
She appears to be a Human.
She appears to be mature and shorter than average. She has mismatched cerulean and smaragdine eyes and supple sun-toned tawny skin. She has hip-length, deep scarlet hair secured into a spiral knotted bun by some ebony hand-painted hairsticks. She has an elegantly sculpted face, a tiny single freckle beside her petite button nose and long, subtly-upturned lashes. She has soft, delicately-contoured and naturally-tinged deep rose lips.
She has a crescent moon tattoo on her neck, a blooming moonflower tattoo on her waist, and an oval blood red eye tattoo on her neck.
She is wearing an exquisite narrow silver ferronniere with a suspended miniature fiery ruby crescent moon, a flowing vivid scarlet longcoat, a delicate black lace corset, a fiery golden trellis bracelet, a ruby red eahnor wedding ring, a sheer ebon chiffon skirt with a long wispy blackworked underskirt, and some atrous silken sandals with low mistwood heels.
bracelet:
Thin angular bands of pure gold criss-cross over each other around the circumference of the bracelet. Set into each junction is a small polished firestone, with signature liquid crimson and black aspects that blend into the golden setting to create a very warm appearing piece of finery.
Ring:
Expertly wrought, the band of this ring is molded to resemble a leaf-like pattern in all the hues of an autumn sunset. Tapping into almost every shade to be found in a flame, from the deepest crimson to the fairest orange, each delicate leaf has been shaded and highlighted with meticulous care. The fiery display winds its way up to a flawless white moonstone, melding itself perfectly into the band as though the ice-like stone supports, rather than battles, the fiery band.
There appears to be something written on it.
Skirt is a laceable Mavika, corset is off the shelf, bracelet is off the shelf, longcoat is off the shelf (holds VLA, weighs 1 pound), hairsticks are off the shelf from WD. the rest are my designs
Totally posted it in the wrong topic!

She is wearing an emerald forehead jewel, a sheer black facial veil edged with small gold discs, a sheer argent silk duppatta embroidered with sinuous golden patterns, a sleek shadowy crystal pendant, a shadowy trailing robe, a carved copper asp ring, and some delicate gold disk-hung anklets.
>l jewel
A delicate wrought gold snake encircles the glittering emerald. A single line of golden radiance runs down the center of the emerald, giving it an appearance akin to a cat's-eye moonstone, although, in context, perhaps a serpent's-eye moonstone. A fragile chain suspends the jewel in such a way that it can rest upon its wearer's brow like a third eye.
>l anklets
Each of the hammered gold disks swinging from the set of slender chain anklets is etched with the image of a different serpent. Cobras, vipers, adders, and anacondas gaze up from the surfaces of the various disks, and the eyes of every snake have been marked with tiny flecks of emerald.
Both pieces were done by the jeweler on the wave dancer, I forget her name but she did an awesome job.

Iom is my best dressed. I love the alters she has. Most of what she is wearing is an alter. She has short, viciously spiked purple hair capped with razor-sharp tips.
You are wearing a spiked black leather collar encircled with thin black steel rings, a high-collared ankle-length black leather longcoat with thin black steel chains accenting the cuffs and collar, a grey Gosaena symbol, a smirking skull pin, a steel-spiked black leather bodice with fitted chain-mesh sleeves, some black linen casting gloves with silvery sigils, a curving raven claw stud in the upper ridge of her left ear, a spiked silver ball stud in her right nostril, a black feather tattoo, a silver-chased black steel bar in her right eyebrow, a razor-spiked leather tail, a coffin-shaped satchel, a feathered raven-shaped backpack, some curvaceous spike-winged leathers, a slim mithril charm bracelet, a rune-etched braided silver wedding ring, a scrollworked leather wand belt, a plain-looking sack, some elegant eostone-inlaid steel leg greaves and some paw-shaped black fur shoes.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Looking closely at the collar, you see a small silver bunny-shaped tag hanging from one of the rings. The tag is inscribed with words "if found wandering, please return to Jayvn Brandt"
You tap some curvaceous spike-winged leathers.- Dyed to the purest black, these supple leathers are fitted to the female form. Stiff leather plates are curved over the shoulders and down the back like a pair of wings, adorned with wicked steel spikes imbedded into the material at regular intervals. Black steel chains link the leather together, cinching it down each side. Clusters of raven feathers are affixed to metal chains strung across each hip, clasped in front with a small silver sickle. You also notice a small enchanter's glyph.
you tap a feathered raven-shaped backpack - Tailored from soft black leather and covered with raven feathers, this large stuffed backpack is sewn into the form of a life-like raven. Its beady eyes are crafted from faceted black onyx buttons. Its beak has been sewn together carefully with black leather cords, and carefully positioned to allow one to open and close the container. Feathered wings, attached at the top to the leather back straps, hang loosely at the sides.
My tattoo: Masterfully tattooed in the center of the back is a winged, pale-skinned woman with ice blue eyes and long, silver hair inked with life-like detail. Her brilliant white feathered wings peek out from beneath the folds of her large grey cloak. On her cloak, you see an image of a silver sickle on a field of green. A raven sits perched on her right shoulder, clutching a skull in its beak. The raven's dead eyes are inked in a manner that they appear to follow you with their gaze.
You are wearing a whorled dark crystal crown, a turquoise-set silver medallion, a sleek shadowy crystal pendant, a silver crystal ball symbol, a deeply hooded murky black cloak, a bashful wood sprite tattoo, some white feathered angel wings, a brush stitched loot sack, a maniacal bunny shaped backsack, a sharply tailored Faendryl-style longcoat with a hazy crystal ball embroidered onto each cuff, a rune-etched braided silver wedding band, a gold ring, a moonlight silver silk toolkit, an ivory-hued satin gem pouch, a pair of black leather pants ringed with dark steel spikes and some supple jet black leather boots. Too much crap.. but I got on some important <to me> gifts :)
Jayvn
09-12-2005, 09:20 PM
I think my shield is the reason I haven't ever and probably wont switch to a runestaff
look at shie
The vultite wall shield stands body high and offers the owner much protection from incoming attacks. The face of the shield has been riddled with sharpened onyx spikes around the outside edge, surrounding a huge pair of pearlescent wide-feathered wings that have been expertly inlaid to be flush with the face of the shield. The pieces of mother-of-pearl that make up the wings create an ever-changing spectrum of color, rapidly shifting through each hue of the rainbow as the shield moves. You also notice a small enchanter's glyph.
Jacina's outfit for Kendryth's (and all the Resistance PCs) memorial. It was awesomely done by Godefroy and I suggest anyone who has free time go and check out the Courtyard Of Rememberance in Lormie's temple in Solhaven.
You see Lady Jacina the Honorary Guard.
She appears to be a Loenthra Elf.
She appears to be in the spring of life and taller than average. She has enchanting amethyst-hued eyes and flawless fair skin. She has waist length, tendriled chestnut hair falling in gentle waves about her hips. She has finely drawn features, and a long slender neck with a delicately defined collarbone.
She is in good shape.
She is wearing a dark veiled argent coronet, a thin-strapped black silk gown painted with barely discernable black roses around the hem, a niello silver ring, an ebon ribbon-wrapped wristlet, and some jet-black high heeled slippers.
Props for the dress go to Sexy Dexy.
Coronet:
The mafor is made from unblemished black gossamer that veils the features and falls down over the shoulders. Contrasting the dark color of the fabric, a pristine silver metal has been shaped into a coronet with a triangular point in the front. Upon the front has been etched the image of an open gate with twining vine wrapped around it.
Wristlet/amulet holder:
Formed from a wide band of raven silk ribbon that has been looped over itself and wrapped around a pure silver band, the wristlet's ends fall in dual streaks of midnight from the wearer's wrist. Each dangling end of the ribbon has been artfully embroidered in silver thread, one with the image of a slim hourglass and the other a broken column.
Damn! I meant to show up to that memorial service dressed all evil. Nice mourning outfit!
My Wizardess:
You see Lady Sherinas Lineas the Firestormer.
She appears to be a Sylvankind.
She appears to be very young and taller than average. She has sultry jade green eyes and tanned skin. She has very long, wavy platinum hair with lighter streaks. She has a delicate face, a small nose and small pointed ears.
She has a delicate wild rose tattoo on her chest, and a crescent moon tattoo on her neck.
She is in good shape.
She is holding a sylvan faewood runestaff capped with a crystal orb set within a silver crescent moon in her right hand.
She is wearing an ornate wide platinum circlet adorned with a pale iridescent moonstone, a sweeping silk moon-clasped robe, a delicately embroidered corset, some soft kidskin gloves, a celestial silver unity ring, a soft kidskin coin pouch, a side-slit autumnal hued skirt, a delicate platinum thigh-band secured with a tiny wood sprite clasp, and a pair of thin sheer black sandals.
all the shows were designed by Gothique, I just bought them from her hehe! The thighband is her design as well. Circlet is off the shelf from the WD, coin pouch came from Sher's gift box, the rest is off the shelf. Staff is a Heimer special :heart:
You look closely at Sherinas, examining a delicately embroidered corset. Made from the softest summer-foliage green silk streaked and tinged with the colors of autumn, the corset comes toward a dramatic upwards center point. Decorative platinum boning reinforces the silk and helps draw in the waist, creating dramatic curves, while tiny hook and eye closures line the front. Tiny wood sprites in various poses have been embroidered upon the silk and an arabesque of embroidered vines creeps around edges.
You look closely at Sherinas, examining some soft kidskin gloves. These elegant gloves are streaked and tinged with hues of mustard, rust, olive and ochre; all the colors of autumn. A thin chain delicately formed by well defined platinum-linked leaves accent the fine kidskin of these exquisite gloves while tiny sprite charms hang from the silver lacing at the wrists.
You look closely at Sherinas, examining a side-slit autumnal hued skirt. The flowing skirt is composed of lush, summer-foliage green silks that are streaked and tinged with the mustards, rusts, olives and ochres of autumn. The very spirit of the forest itself seems to come alive as an arabesque of embroidered vines creeps around the slit on the side. A waistchain of tiny, mischievous wood sprites is draped loosely around as a belt.
She is wearing a silk-strung crystalline snow rose inlaid with a tiny crescent moon, a low-cut ivory silk bodice, an age-dark ivory ring adorned with a tiny snow cowrie shell, a ruby red eahnor wedding ring, a spherical crystal belt-lantern fitted with a short chain, a split-front natural linen skirt with ivory lace-covered buttons, and some pale ivory shell-beaded sandals.
You see Lady Michiko Lawyk the Woodswoman.
She appears to be a Half-Sylvan.
She appears to have come of age and short. She has long-lashed, expressive twilight blue eyes and flawless, creamy skin. She has long, silky raven black hair caught in a casual roll at the nape of her neck by some thin twisted silver hairsticks. She has a finely contoured aristocratic face, an upturned nose and petite, delicate ears that taper to slight points.
She has a series of intricately etched slender silver rings in the ridges of both her ears.
She is in good shape.
She is wearing a thin chain-link silver necklace, an ebon-hued faceted opal phial inlaid with an eahnor sephwir tree, a high-collared black samite longcoat, an intricate silver phoenix rampant pin, a back-laced eahnor-scaled corset, a hazy glass ring, a set of etched eahnor rings, a pair of sleek black leather pants, and some low-heeled ebon moire silk slippers.
hairsticks = altered ones from the Wavedancer
necklace = enhancer
phial = from Jaysehn :heart:
longcoat = been shown before
pin = enhancer/perfume holder
corset = been shown before
ring = enhancer
rings = borrowed from Jolena, been shown before
pants: I think they've been shown before, but just in case:
Fashioned from glossy black leather, these pants have been hand-tailored to cling to their wearer like a second skin. Running down the outer side of the legs are silver-edged black ora grommets, laced closed with slender red silk cords.
Can you tell between the corset and the pants that Michiko's trying to impress a male? :lol:
Yay for being bored.
You see Linsha Sinti.
She appears to be an Illistim Elf.
She appears to be very young and tall. She has tilted azure-limned pale green eyes and pale skin. She has very long, silky mahogany hair that is parted in the center and highlighted a deep red while several wispy tendrils frame her face and tumble to her hips. She has long, gracefully pointed ears with a slight bend at the tips. She has full, softly curved pale pink lips. She is inked with a pattern of interwoven crimson thorned vines upon her hands.
She has a blood red rose tattoo.
She is wearing an emerald-set slender bronze diadem, a deeply hooded fox fur cloak, a bronze-corded cream damask kirtle, a hazy glass ring, and a pair of low-heeled cream suede slippers.
Only thing I need to change is her hair, and I couldn't find anyhair pieces I liked.
Here's the description on Keyvon's band, which matches Sherinas's ring on the show.
You tap a celestial silver unity band.
>l my band
Etched around the ring are miniature moons and stars that swirl and spiral in hypnotic patterns. In the center of each moon and star is a tiny crystal shard, sparkling beautifully when touched by light. Capping the unity ring is a delicatly formed crescent moon encircling a crystal-inlaid heart.
I've a few outfits that don't have any black in them. The problem at the moment is finding coordinating accessories that don't.
You are wearing a gold-swirled dark mithglin helm, a diamond-set gornar beard clip, an invar mesh leather war pack, an enormous hooded black leather warcloak studded with polished onyx buttons, an oversized black leather satchel clasped with an iron grappling hook, a dwarven-forged glaes aventail bound in invar, a chest-strapped black leather harness, a clear glass amulet, some polished onyx-studded plate, a copper viper-shaped necklace, a rune-etched thick midnight black onyx armband, a bone-buttoned scarred leather vest, a leather bracer, some black onyx-studded gloves, an iron and mithril band, a studded leather sword belt, a black mail sheath, an unusually large mesh sack clasped with a crude bone buckle, a black mail scabbard, some double-buckled baggy dark leather trousers, some black mithril-plated boots.
It is my opinion if you're a giant warrior who's slightly barbaric, you ought to look like one (and this was after getting rid of a bunch of junk he was wearing that he didn't use).
However, I do need a skin tone that would look better with his features:
He appears to be youthful and taller than average.
He has silver-flecked black eyes and tanned skin.
He has shoulder length, braided deep red hair.
He has a square-jawed face, a classical nose and a long crimson goatee.
Any suggestions?
You've got enough sheathes, belts, etc for four weapons. You could reduce some of the block of text by keeping the nicer belt, and putting the other weapons in a normal container.
She appears to be a Nalfein Elf.
She appears to have come of age and shorter than average. She has violet-shadowed, pale lilac eyes and ivory skin. She has long, silky black cherry-hued hair twisted into loose ringlets. She has a delicate face and thin eyebrows. She has lush carmine-tinged lips.
She has a thin scar of delicate intertwined thorns on her neck.
She is in good shape.
She is wearing a wide polished birds-eye maple headband, a rose-trimmed plum brocade bliaut, a plum-colored faille chemise, a garnet snipe-inset bracelet, and a pair of rich garnet silk slippers.
Bliaut: The bliaut is of a fairly simple design, and made of a beautiful plum brocade featuring a pattern of blooming roses. Tailored to be form-fitting, it fits the wearer like glove before flaring out gently at the hips and cascading downwards in graceful folds. Red-gold thread trims the square neckline and the cuffs of the bell-shaped sleeves.
Bracelet: This bracelet is formed from a series of interlocking golden links. The links alternate between larger ones of brilliant yellow gold and smaller ones of an almost rosy hue. Although the links repeat, each one is set with a uniquely styled snipe carved from scarlet garnets. The jeweled birds reach out to the very edge of each link, joining together from beak to tail in a dancing circle.
You see Linsha Sinti.
She appears to be an Illistim Elf.
She appears to be very young and tall. She has tilted azure-limned pale green eyes and pale skin. She has very long, silky mahogany hair falling loosely around her face and adorned with a delicately carved ivory haircomb. She has long, gracefully pointed ears with a slight bend at the tips. She has full, softly curved pale pink lips. She is inked with a pattern of interwoven crimson thorned vines upon her hands.
She has a blood red rose tattoo.
She is wearing a blue phase arctic fox pelt, a single pearl hanging from a thin silk cord, a pale ivory silk corset, a hazy glass ring, a pearl-beaded cerulean silk houppelande, and some ivory silk slippers tied with wide bands of soft ribbon.
Pelt: The plush pelt is that of an arctic fox, taken in its prime. The thick, soft fur is steel blue, the color of a stormy sky. A rich white ruff rings the small canine's neck, accenting a bright white tail tip. Elegant, carved ivory clasps have been affixed to the fox's nose and tail, making the otherwise untouched pelt into a serviceable mantle.
Just thought I'd show off this Erithian character I met tonight at the Lumnis dedication. I really love his hair alteration, his robe, pants, and drinking tube. Very well put together in my opinion.
You see Kairyu the Swordsman.
He appears to be an Erithian of the Nathala Dai.
He appears to have come of age and average height. He has slit-pupilled stormy grey eyes and lightly tanned skin. He has long, straight light brown hair pulled back into a top-knot and thin braids at the temples. He has a weathered face, a straight nose and deep laugh lines.
He has a black shark's tooth tattoo on his wrist.
He has minor cuts and bruises on his chest.
He is wearing a linen bandana, a braided black leather hair tie, a brilliant white crystal pendant, an intricately carved wooden medallion, a crystal amulet, a painted snow white elmwood yumi, a bronze and grey erithian quiver, a wide-sleeved black linen robe with a broad-shouldered overlay of interwoven folds, a black lacquer pin, some black banded mail, a deep-sleeved flowing silk tunic, some pale linen hand wraps, a gold ring, a shark tooth clasped pouch, a slender bamboo drinking tube, a soft grey textured sash, a pair of billowing ebon linen pants secured at the calves with bleached cotton wrappings, and some calf-laced brown leather sandals.
Yeah, I know, I know, breeches aren't stylish. I like em anyway.
She appears to be a Dark Elf.
She appears to be mature and average height. She has tilted black eyes and ashen skin. She has long waves of fine, carmine hair that spill loosely down her back with only a hint of frizz. She has an angular face, a small nose and narrow pointed ears.
She has a tattooed golden vine spiralling up her left forearm.
She is wearing a sprig of delicate white cothinar flower tucked behind one ear, a pair of round vaalin-framed spectacles, a white-lined deep blue moire cloak, a tailored blue velvet bodice with sheer white chiffon sleeves, a slender belt of sun-etched vaalin plates, some deep blue watered silk breeches, and some white vaalin-laced cothurns.
>l cloak
Shimmering patterns sweep across the outer shell of stiff moire silk, coiling and uncoiling like ripples on the surface of a rain-drenched sea. Thinner, untextured silk bleached a pale pearl white edges the hem and clings to the inside to form a soft lining. Large twin pearls of the same milky hue anchor the gold chain that fastens the cloak across the throat, while a row of smaller nacreous buttons runs down the front, in case poor weather requires that the cloak be closed more fully.
He is in good shape.
He is wearing a wide-brimmed sleek leather hat, an ivory silk faenor-clasped cravat, an enruned gypsy talisman, a silver-traced dark crystal necklace, a jade-cuffed raven damask longcoat, an eclipse-etched white soulstone badge, a plain wooden symbol, some fingerless ebony damask gloves, a formal miniver-trimmed tabard, an eahnor ring mail shirt, an elegant imfass signet ring, a gold ring, an ivory-hued watered silk sash, an eahnor inlaid cordovan swordbelt, some knee-length billowy black silk pants, and a pair of ebony silver-buckled boots.
He's quite picky. It couldn't be further enchanted past its natural metal enchant, firstly. Secondly, for a Blademaster, his RP is no armor higher than Hauberk. So when I found pure eahnor in AsG 15 ( Augmented Chain ), that weighed only 20 pounds, I jumped on it.
Jolena's outfit for the day :D
You see Jolena.
She appears to be a Human.
She appears to be mature and shorter than average. She has mismatched cerulean and smaragdine eyes and supple sun-toned tawny skin. She has hip-length, deep scarlet hair twisted into a high, neat bun and held in place with some sparkling ruby hairjewels arranged in a spiral design. She has an elegantly sculpted face, a tiny single freckle beside her petite button nose and long, subtly-upturned lashes. She has soft, delicately-contoured and naturally-tinged deep rose lips.
She has an oval blood red eye tattoo on her neck, a blooming moonflower tattoo on her waist, a tattoo of twinkling stars on her thigh, and a crescent moon tattoo on her neck.
She is wearing a leather purse, a knee-length black silk cloak, an iridescent black silk knee-length dress with delicate crimson whorls along the hem, a silvery silk sack cinched with a spiraling crimson satin ribbon, an intricate sylvan-styled fan, a ruby red eahnor wedding ring, an elegant black silk thighband, and a pair of black crystal-heeled slippers.
Fan is actioned with the blade thingy, :heart: those fans, wish I had more ::
Made of delicate midnight black elven silk, this fan is elegantly crafted with loving detail. The sheer silk spreading across the frame of polished and gleaming moonstone blades is a deep black in color, resembling a midnight sky. Intricate sylvan runes are seen spiraling along the delicate handle and end just below a tiny ruby dusted crescent moon.
Sack is an altered kitten holding sack, kitten show is to follow:
You carefully lift the kitten up by the scruff of its neck and then tuck it gently into the crook of your arm.
You glance down to see a fluffy playful black kitten in the crook of your right arm and nothing in your left hand.
Bright mismatched blue and green eyes peer out from this beautifully groomed kitten, the mischievous nature of the animal showing clearly through its gaze. Its fur is a luxurious silken black color, resembling a moonless night sky and a small auburn patch of hair can be seen on two of the kitten's paws and the base of its fluffy tail. A delicate red silken collar etched with a small silver crescent moon hangs around its small neck, a tiny silver tag suspended from it with 'Prey' etched in elegant script.
Hairjewels are the scripted ones from the WD
Cloak and slippers are off the shelf
Thighband is a pinworn thigh-sheath from the rogue guild:
The thighband is composed of a double layer of supple leather the width of two fingers. The inner side is lined with satin for comfort while a layer of fine black elven silk covers the outer side. Evenly spaced ruby studs faceted into small crescent moons keep the fabrics in place while allowing for a narrow blade to be slipped between the two layers of leather. Delicate ruby-dusted sylvan runes alternate with the studs on the outer side and meet with the reinforced silk straps fastening the garment.
In the black silk thighband you see a ruby-pommeled silvery vaalorn knife.
You tap a ruby-pommeled silvery vaalorn knife etched with black roses along the blade.
I decided to change Ent's outfit, this is what I've come up with so far after perusing player shops:
You see Great Lady Entress the Fingersmith.
She appears to be youthful and tall. She has sparkling crystal green eyes and fair skin. She has waist length, wavy copper red hair twisted into a high, neat bun and held in place with some glittering dark emerald hairjewels arranged in a spiral design. She has a delicate face and slightly pointed ears.
She has a thin emerald ring in her lip.
She has old battle scars on her left hand.
She is wearing a thin silver crystal pendant, an ora-edged lilac cloak, a silver-bladed dagger medallion, a tooled star emerald pin, a silver arced split-moon charm, a pale ivory bodice, an elegant emerald-inset bracelet, a silver locksmith kit, a ditty bag embellished with a pair of burnt-edged scrolls, a flowing pale lilac satin skirt, and a pair of high-heeled boots.
Actually, he has to go back to Orenia, where he's from, to fight his brother who is a sorcerer, at some point in the future. Its imperitive to his character that this happen, where he does not use magic to aid him in defense or attacking. His family is full of sorcerers and magical folks, and he was born without any link or connection to mana, so he was always considered 'crippled' in their eyes. He always felt like he was competing, etc.
The character is really well done, actually. I've had some of my most interesting and memorable RP interactions with Jaysehn. I suggest if you ever have the chance to RP with him at length, you do so. It will be fun, I'm sure.
She appears to be youthful and tall. She has sparkling crystal green eyes and fair skin. She has waist length, wavy copper red hair falling loosely around her face and adorned with a delicately carved ivory haircomb. She has a delicate face and slightly pointed ears.
She has a simple silver stud in her lip.
She has old battle scars on her left hand.
She is wearing a thin silver crystal pendant, a luxurious watered silk harness, an ora-edged lilac cloak, a silver-bladed dagger medallion, a pale ivory bodice, a silver locksmith kit, a ditty bag embellished with a pair of burnt-edged scrolls, a flowing pale lilac satin skirt, and a pair of high-heeled boots.
SO SO SO SO SO HAPPY.
You see Uniana.
She appears to be a Nalfein Elf.
She appears to have come of age and shorter than average. She has violet-shadowed, pale lilac eyes and ivory skin. She has long, silky black cherry-hued hair twisted into loose ringlets. She has a delicate face and thin eyebrows. She has lush carmine-tinged lips. A perfectly cut dragon's-tear ruby is positioned between her eyes, which casts a sparkling crimson sheen across her face.
She has a thin scar of delicate intertwined thorns on her neck.
She is in good shape.
She is wearing a long red velvet cloak, a seven-headed ruby serpent talisman, a raven black velvet bodice with a plunging back, a sanguine crushed velvet skirt, and a pair of black velvet slippers.
A lot of velvet, but all I had on hand to suit my newest purchase.
Talisman:
The image of a seven-headed serpent has been embossed upon the surface of the sizeable, imperfect, cabochon-cut ruby. Light flickers only haltingly through the murky corundum. The talisman is suspended upon a short necklace of hammered black iron links.
Boxfound that is rechargable paladin DS spell. I have to write a story of the history behind it, but I love the design. And it matches my GEM! ^_^
My sorcerer, who I rarely use but is a ton of fun to play. He's a creepy bastard, and is convcined he summoned Luukos himself during a failed demon summoning. I won't get too much into him in this thread, though.
You see Lord Erstef Caseroon the Enervator.
He appears to be an Ardenai Elf.
He appears to be in the spring of life and tall. He has reflective viridian eyes and tanned skin. He has thick, raven black hair that falls in a wild disarray to his shoulders. He has a gaunt face, a classical nose and a jagged scar that runs off-center over one of his eyes from the bottom of his brow to the top of his cheek.
He is in good shape.
He is holding a sigil-chased mottled black staff with a slit-eyed deep red cobra wrapped around it in his right hand.
He is wearing a singed black leather hat, a high-collared black velvet longcoat with brushed silver buttons, a pale bone nose ring, a ragged jet black armband, a blackened mesh wand harness, some ratskin leather armor, a faceted dreamstone ring, an infinity sigil-twined belt, an enruned dark mithril scroll case clasped with a tiny clenched fist, an ensigiled runestone pouch, an elegant black silk gem pouch, and a pair of dark silver-taloned boots.
You carefully examine your black leather hat. Darkened considerably from its original color, the depth of black shown with this hat was likely caused by misuse of dark and nefarious magic. The wide brim curves upwards slightly, its edges burnt and split from what appears to be an experiment gone awry. Onyx beads have been placed underneath the curved portion at even intervals, which add texture to the otherwise unremarkable garment.
Another day. More silver spent. I need to stop.
You see Linsha Sinti.
She appears to be an Illistim Elf.
She appears to be very young and tall. She has tilted azure-limned pale green eyes and pale skin. She has very long, silky mahogany hair that is parted in the center and highlighted a deep red while several wispy tendrils frame her face and tumble to her hips. She has long, gracefully pointed ears with a slight bend at the tips. She has full, softly curved pale pink lips. She is inked with a pattern of interwoven crimson thorned vines upon her hands.
She has a blood red rose tattoo.
She is in good shape.
She is wearing a beaded silk satchel, a fine golden-hued shawl, a marble dagger pierced heart symbol, a gold scroll pendant, a fiery golden trellis bracelet, a hazy glass ring, a backless fiery red-gold satin dress with delicate imperial topaz straps, and some ankle-tied fiery-hued silk sandals.
Shawl: Made from lightweight gossamer of a pale golden hue, the shawl is just heavy enough to protect one from a summer evening's chill. Golden spidersilk thread weaves a nearly invisible floral pattern that dances along the edge of the delicate garment.
Pendant: A miniature replica of a scroll hangs from a delicate gold-linked chain. Engraved on the open face of the scroll are the words, "I gave my blood to keep your roses red."
Bracelet: Thin angular bands of pure gold criss-cross over each other around the circumference of the bracelet. Set into each junction is a small polished firestone, with signature liquid crimson and black aspects that blend into the golden setting to create a very warm appearing piece of finery.
I was looking at this and it seems there was a lot of 'fiery' in there but I'm too tired to look for something else.
Somebody HALP ME.
Uniana's player is probably ready to kill me because I was him-hawing around with trying to decide who I really want to play. Jesae is just so...well damn its like playing a sorority girl and I want to hurt myself for it. And well, DAMN, Nalina is SOOO much fun to dress up, and she's deadly.
You see Nalina.
She appears to be a Sylvankind of the Tyesteron D'ahranal.
She appears to be mature and very tall. She has intense, darkly-lashed pale citrine eyes and faultless china-white skin. She has waist-length, thick charcoal black hair pulled back from her forehead with a vivid red eahnor poppy barrette. She has an angular face, a classical nose and slightly pointed ears. She has a series of small scars about either side of her slender throat.
She is in good shape.
She is wearing a high-collared black velvet longcoat with brushed silver buttons, a high-necked white chiffon tunic embroidered with scarlet knot work along the hem and cuffs, a wasp-waist scarlet silk corset fastened with black ora buckles, a slim suit of curvaceous brigandine, a three-banded black sable belt with a finely-honed vultite shortsword and a zorchar-edged ebony vultite dagger hanging from it, some sleek black leather pants, and a pair of slender black suede boots perched on low ebonwood heels.
She is in good shape.
She is wearing a long lucent zorchar tile pendant, an elegant white linen jacket, a stark white high-collared shirt, a luminous zorchar elven ring, some soft pale ivory cashmere pants, and a pair of side-buckled alabaster leather thigh-boots.
She appears to be a Paradis Halfling.
She appears to be youthful and extremely tiny. She has lilac-flecked willow green eyes and smooth, rose-blushed skin. She has long, loose ringlets of sienna red hair interspersed with radiant honey blonde highlights and warm copper undertones. She has a dainty, heart-shaped face accented with delicate features and a smattering of tiny freckles across her nose and cheekbones.
She has a tiny Paradis crest tattoo inked upon her collarbone.
She is in good shape.
She is wearing a velvety soft deep black rose tucked behind one ear, a soft grey velvet cape clasped by a cluster of black pearls, a filigreed silver heart talisman, a silver-strung grey moonstone phial, a mossy grey velvet bodice boned with burnished silver, a petite ebon silk tote, a slender krodera-chased corselet, some silk-lined black leather pants, and some knee-high pointed toe boots.
Cape, phial and bodice from player shops. (Linsha and Uniana I think..)
The story is, when Nalina was living in her native Sylvan village, she was out hunting for her family, her village was attacked. When she was coming back with game (she's an excellent hunter, stealth and all :D ) she could see the smoke and screaming and when she started running into help she was pounced by some large shadow, knocked unconsious, and dragged to safety.
The entire village was decimated and she was the only one who survived. When she woke, she had a matching set of bite wounds on her neck, which ended up healing and leaving the scar.
She's convinced it was Andelas that had saved her and is constantly striving to retain her cat-like hunting and stalking style. (Yeah, she's a rogue). She hopes to meet him some day and show her devotion in saving her.
As for her family, she is on a personal, and quiet quest to find out just who and what destroyed her town. It was so long ago, the rage is starting to fade however.
a pale sapphire forehead jewel
A faint hint of blue infuses the faceted gem, and it glimmers with the same delicate hue as sunlight glimmering off a placid ocean. No, I thought that was fairly clearly implied by the docs and the Tehir merchants seen thusfar.
I tend to see the Tehir as a mix, with different tribes having different customs. I know I have a Tehir I picture more like an African Masai. And my friend views hers more as Arabian. But it's probably just me.
Edited to add that they didn't even show what Dhe'nar clothing looks like in the documents. They're just lumped in with Faendryl, whom they should be nothing like since they evolved seperately over thousands of years! Minor pet peeve of mine.
Edited again to add that they don't show exactly what the Tehir wear either. Stupid incomplete fashion document.
I see my Tehiri as a nomadic type. Very similar to the middle eastern Bedouins of hundreds of years ago. Physically I see her similar to something of a Nubian. Black skinned, muscular, sharp features.
So yah, I suppose we can assume they can be played similar to almost any desert culture we know of and have it be plausible as the desert they are from is a large expanse and might be full of people at different stages of cultural evolution.
I thought for a change I'd post the empaths wardrobe. Shes not really elegant or fashion savvy. She works all the time. (And because I am bored)
She is holding a rosewood shepherd's crook in her right hand.
She is wearing a green silk kerchief, a soft wool shepherd's cloak edged with simple scrollwork of silver and green, a pair of soft leather gloves, an emerald green bodice, a tiny pink iceblossom rolton, a rolton wool-trimmed feedbag, a brightly painted wooden milk pail with a thick rope handle, a green woolen skirt embroidered along the hem with silver-threaded scrollwork flourishes, a tiny jade rolton anklet, and some rolton hide boots.
A lot of it is off the rack stuff. The cloak, and skirt are long alters.
The milk pail was given to her by citizens of the town as a gift.
the pink iceblossom rolton. Numerous tiny pale pink iceblossoms have been wound around a stiff wire form in the shape of a prancing rolton. Interspersed baby's breath dots the rolton's coat with flecks of snow white. A loop of wire juts out from the rolton's back, from which a gleaming silver pin has been attached.
(Long story behind the pink roltons.)
the gloves: look glove
The soft leather of the gloves is lined with a sheer layer of sage-green silk, matching the thread visible in the delicate stitching of the outer seams. Silver scrollwork bands the wrists, giving the pair a supple and close fit suitable for both outdoors work and more delicate tasks.
The gloves were actually a gift made for Katsuragii, but he gave them back to her when he left .
Nothing special, but thats her.
That is darling. And hey, not everyone can, or should be, fashionplate models. That would just be boring.
She has a benign wrinkly face, a wart-tipped nose and a long, intricately-braided and ratty beard. She has chaotic Ralgrenek tribal scarring covering her face and pale crescent moon-shaped scars on her palms.
She is holding a scrawl-carved dwarven battle shield in her left hand.
She is wearing a thin silver crystal pendant, a sleek shadowy crystal pendant, a pointy rat fur witch's hat, a dragonfire opal charm hatpin, a pair of oddly-shaped spectacles, a rune-etched rat bone nose ring, a sitting beanbag rat, a black diamond mournbloom stud trimmed in white gold, a pair of crude rodent fang earrings, a lustrous deep golden amulet, a pale crystal shard, an oddly enruned gypsy talisman strung with a chaotic array of healing herb and root charms, a moonlight silver silk bodice, a witchwood-rimmed thunderstone pin reading "Have Needle - Will Poke" in bold letters, some oddly-shaped luminous moonstone beard jewels inset with tiny sparkly invar pentagrams, an enameled invar beard clip, a patchwork dwarven cooking apron, a water-filled moon-phases talisman, a luminescent potion-shaped toadstool, a silver and invar slogan pin, a green toadstool pin, a splotch of dried blood, a splotch of dried blood, a sapphire-set mistwood bracelet, an ancient athame sheath, a gnawed petrified peg leg, a crescent moon shaped Handmaidens constellation talisman, a mechanical dwarf pin, a wild-eyed silvery bearded lizard, a blackened vruul-skin thigh-sheath adorned with oddly enruned Zelia symbols, an oddly-runed dwarven lucky charm, a dwarven emergency ale kit, an overstuffed herb-stitched satchel, a curvaceous dwarven witch's corselet, a silver-chased brightly shining glimaerstone bangle bracelet adorned with tiny crooked crescent moon charms, an engraved mithril ring, a small metal device, an ancient rat hide tips belt, a dwarven midwife's case, a catnip-strung dwarven cat bag with the words "Bag of Chaos" haphazardly stitched on one side, a dwarven witchwood ale keg, a tattered and bloodstained skirt that has tiny flecks of dried herbs stuck on it and is edged with faded Ralgrenek runes, a whorled dark crystal anklet double edged with tiny razern-tipped rat tooth spikes, and some ugly wooden clogs adorned with sparkly rat-shaped buckles.
a dark budding tulip tattoo
The gently curving petals of the tulip are inked in hues of azure and amethyst, creating a darkly lovely image at the small of Treana's back. Each delicate petal is edged with a thin line of silver, as though a reflection of moonlight. The tulip is at the verge of blooming, the edges of its petals just beginning to unfurl from the top.
Allow me a moment to snicker over your signature...
Okay, I'm fine now. Your bard is very pretty, and I love the shades of purple she wears.
That tattoo is very well done, but a tramp stamp nonetheless. I love it! :lol2:
Heh! I didn't even think of that. The idea was mine but the description goes to the tattoo artist who was in the Landing last month. Thank god it can't be seen by everyone then!
Just thought about that, and must it be darkly instead of just dark?
Also, tramp stamps done in good taste are nice. Just remember that it will be generalized as much. Besides, a Slyph that tall has got to show it in anything they do, you'd think. :devilsmile:
Lovely engagement ring I saw today:
-an engagement ring of gold and silver filigree ensnaring a shining green glimaerstone-
I thought it was a great design.
You put a sylvan-style moon etched khopesh in your perse silk jacket.
You remove a silk-fringed ecru linen parasol from in your perse silk jacket.
You spin your ecru linen parasol, letting it twirl freely against your shoulder.
You whistle tunelessly to yourself, remembering days past.
Alania chuckles.
You attend to your ecru linen parasol, making the parasol as presentable as possible.
It would be easier to close your parasol before attempting to lean on it.
You release the upper catch and pull your ecru linen parasol closed.
You pose prettily, leaning on your furled parasol.
Alania chuckles.
Stunseed asks, "For the ecru Crew?"
You adopt an agreeable expression.
You flash a wide grin.
Stunseed nods.
I just had to post this to show off my man. :D He got that on his own, I didn't even have to remind him! w00t!
Yeah, Nilandia's got some great designs. You should ask to see her armband.
Aw, thanks you guys.
Here's the armband:
a polished silver spiral armband
Fine silver wraps around itself to form an armband crafted to spiral around the wearer's upper arm, climbing ever higher rather than forming a complete circle. The armband's ends curl back on themselves and become small disks upon which brilliantly cut gems are mounted -- one a shimmering clear diamond while the other boasts a fine green glimaerstone. Delicate engraving winds its way along the body of the armband, connecting the two gems.
There appears to be something written on it.
In the Common language, it reads:
"A Shadow and a Queen, separate no longer."
It's one of a set, bonded Dartoc rings that were made for Nilandia and Respital's wedding rings. The diamond was to symbolize Respital while the glimaerstone is for Nilandia. Shadow and Queen are their nicknames for each other.
There's a story Respital told Nilandia once, that they have two halves of the same soul. The gods then placed the halves into their bodies and cast them to the ends of the world, taking bets to see how long it would take for them to find each other. Hence, the engraving of them being separate no longer. That's also the reason for the design being a spiral. The gems, representing each other, are connected by the silver.
That is quite beautiful and so is the story that goes along with it.
Even though I was kind of amused by it... what is wrong with this picture?
You see Lord Corwynd Vayle the Magician.
He appears to be a Dhe'nar Dark Elf.
He appears to be of full age and shorter than average. He has long-lashed violet eyes and dusky skin. He has thick, bouncy soft pink hair that curls around the ears and falls gracefully to his shoulders. He has a delicate face, a thin nose and a generous mouth.
He has a colorful circus wagon tattoo on his neck, a golden keg tattoo on his arm, a crowned frog tattoo on his arm, and a circle of dancing roltons tattoo on his ankle.
He is in good shape.
He is wearing a crystal amulet, a thin silver crystal pendant, some black silver-trimmed leathers, a carnation pink cravat, a cherry-edged white towel, a pink-hued seashell bodice, a flowing low-waisted green grass skirt, a soft crimson fox fur handbag with long black straps, a rich red fox stole with a black tipped tail, a loosely knotted pink and white striped scarf, some white cherry blossom earrings, a seashell decorated beach bag, a pair of rose-tinted glasses, a pair of woven grass sandals, a freshly-cut magnolia tucked behind one ear, a red-jeweled white lace anklet, and a pink crystal heart ring.
There's nothing wrong with Pinky except for the fact that he's not in head-to-toe order!
Really? 'cause I was thinking the cravat with the seashell bodice. That's just silly.
The towel is kind of silly too.. But uh that is quite an imagination I've never seen a Dhe'nar dress that way.
Huh. Too many freakin' pendants, IMO. If you're going to cross-dress, at least do it well.
