To join in the posting, here's a newly completed outfit for Strata. Actually, I didn't design the bodice but I saw it when it was designed and traded one of my gowns that the person had admired for it.

She appears to be a Nalfein Elf.
She appears to be young and average height. She has cunning, mismatched grey and black eyes and ivory skin. She has long, lustrous deep scarlet hair that falls nearly to the ground, with a dainty curl at the tips. She has a delicate, refined face and meticulously groomed features.
She is in good shape.
She is wearing a solid black quartz circlet overlaid with pale zorchar filigree, a thin-strapped vertically striped black and white sea snake skin bodice, a front-split lustrous black silk faille overskirt with a forked train, a floor-length pristine white silk skirt, and some black silk high-heeled slippers.

It's much like the other one but black and white instead of black and green. Alot of kraits (sea snakes) died for that bodice, heh.

Anyhow, bored and stupidly hoping Arilian will show up sometime so I will post yet another ensemble I got away with having altered.

She appears to be mature and very tall. She has almond-shaped amber eyes and milky white skin. She has waist-length, thick charcoal black hair that tumbles in a wild disarray of loose curls to the small of her back. She has an angular face, a classical nose and slightly pointed ears.
She has a filigreed pale sapphire ring in her left eyebrow.
She is in good shape.
She is holding an exquisite circular mirror ornamented in jewel-tone mosaic cloisonne in her right hand and a keenly-bladed rosewood fan in her left hand.
She is wearing a delicate silver hairclip trailing two peacock feathers, some exquisite silver earrings hung with a complex chandelier-like web of jet beads, an austere silver collar, an elegant black velvet cloak, a rigid pipe-stem corset of deep cobalt satin cinched up the back with silver hook closures, a split-front alabaster panne skirt with fishtail train and pleated black tulle underskirt, and some stylish high-heeled sandals.

This seemingly demure device is fashioned of flimsily-paneled rosewood. Each slat has been cut throughout in a delicate filigree pattern and fashioned on the underside with a paper-thin sliver of rolaren for support and ornamentation. Cleverly bored into the base is a small hollow for storing more devious tools and a fat silk tassel hangs from the handle for decoration.

I believe everything else has been seen. Its a bit long for me but it looks so GOOD together. I'll have to cut out either the hairclip or the earrings, I haven't decided which yet.

Oh and let us not forget the COOLEST rp tool I have had made so far on this trip...

a triple-edged silver bodice dagger

When gazing down the tip of this needle-like dagger, one notices that the blade is triangular in shape, creating a third edge. Each edge is painfully sharp, and the handle has been elaborately embellished with a cloisonne image of a stalking black cat with tiny faceted golden topaz eyes.
A small stud is imbedded into the base of the silver bodice dagger.

Now, this typically isn't that gasp-worthy...but Rilason made it into one of those poison daggers, which just makes me giggle like an idiot when I think of when I'll be able to use THIS fun toy.

Of the two tattoos, the hawk 'in my mind' is supposed to look like its flying over the warhorse. They symbolize the two families she comes from, the hawk from her elven father, and the horse from her human mother.

The amulet is filled with water, though glowing specks within fade in and out with the slightest movement.
Beautifully held within two spun tendrils of glass at the heart of the amulet is a glowing soulstone. Edged in filigreed silver, an intricate design of Elven glyphs and flowing Common script has been engraved upon the face. It reads, "Loved, Remembered, Honored." The amulet is suspended from a strong leather cord, surprisingly supple and dark from obvious loving care.

In a truly simple fashion, a single length of soft grey silk gauze is allowed to wrap about the neck and lower face, acting as a partial mask. As it wraps, it offers several openings to stow a quick item lifted from an unsuspected pocket. A series of archaic runes is embroidered in fiery crimson threading run the length of the silk. Fitted at the neck is a keenly edged ebon-hued stiletto pin intertwined by a silver ring.

Ill spare the shows on the other items as it would feel like reading a book just dropped the show for the wrap since most people have no idea what its for. Anyhow thats meh.

Bracer:
The bronze portion of the bracer is a rather simple affair, just a hammered sheet of darkly burnished metal curved to fit the forearm. Four leather strips hold the bracer tight to the arm, with pieces of carved red-black glaes on each strap. The glaes fits together like puzzle pieces, fastening the bracer and forming four translucent stylized scorpion shapes.

Belt:
The belt is formed of three simple black leather strips and fastened with bronze buckles. On each strap of the belt hangs a pair of sheathes.

He is wearing a pair of grimy leather-bound goggles, a set of twin water cannon tubes, a complicated twine-bound hooded cloak jingling with jangling steel gears, some mithril studded leather, a grease-stained leather hip-satchel stamped with a geometric pattern resembling a paw print, a complex rope-laced tool bag nearly buried with a multitude of grimy dangling doodads, a pair of thin leather gauntlets crafted to overlap each finger with a blackened steel cap, a thin leather Withycombe toolbelt, some burnt leather overalls with a series of blackened steel scales overlaying the knees, and a pair of grimy steel-plated leather boots with an acid-burned hole exposing the toes.

Goggles:
You see a pair of glaes goggles covered in a thick layer of dust and grime. Grease smudges mar the thick leather strap that connects the two ends.

Water Cannon Tubes:
These heavy, gear-covered steel tubes are constructed perfectly to sheathe a pair of water cannons. The invar reinforced leather straps have seen better days and are slightly cracked from water damage. Cylinders of glass running parallel with the tubes are filled with murky water. Below the steel tubes is a large leather pocket perfect for holding water cannon accessories.

Toolbelt:
You see a sturdy leather tool belt with a simple brand of interlocking geometric shapes upon the strap. Various loops and pouches surround the belt, made perfectly to fit various tools of the trade. Engraved into a gold buckle is the bloodmark of two straight lines with a diamond at either side.

Two larger, more detailed leaves extend downward from the shoulders to cover the arm and end in a rounded point just above the elbow. You also notice a small enchanter's mark.

The regal garment is tailored from a full circle of heavyweight deep green linen interwoven with golden threads and lined with ingeniously pocketed dark wool. A thick gold braid trims the hem and hood of the cloak which is otherwise devoid of decoration. Designed to be pulled tightly over the wearer's shoulders, the cape fastens at the neck with an elliptical crest depicting a green oak leaf on a field of umber.

If I want to sell it, I'll keep in mind selling it back to you. It's not quite the same dirk though... I was told by someone else who has one that they're impossible to alter but the first merchant I approached with it changed it for me. It's now this:

a sleek curved steel dagger
There is very little that is overtly remarkable about this blade. Black leather wraps the simple hilt and a stylized scorpion stinger sits on the end of it. Plain steel forms the blade with an oblique curved edge, the point extremely sharp. The only odd thing about the dagger is the subtle discoloration around the edge, a sticky black film coating it.

I know, some people might think it's a 'crime' to alter it from its previous 'a long black dirk' description but it's still simplisitic, just more described.

And just because I feel like showing off Kuaike's newest dagger:

The black steel abyran'ra is holding no gem, and there is a demon-shaped pure black pattern set in the slot in its back.

The heavy mechanical golem covered in a vast array of gears, sproinks, widgets and levers. Pipes jutting from the upper regions of this monstrosity seem to serve as some sort of ventilation system while the jaggedly cut pipes near the bottom seem to be made more for impaling.

These odd looking clamps are styled from a pair of fossilized pointed ears of an unknown origin. They are bound by a tiny rusting coil and the tips of the ears are sharpened to allow safe passage into even the scraggliest of beards.

The phylactery, a small ironwood box strapped to the wrist, has been polished to a high sheen. Despite the care, it can not disguise the dents and nicks that run across its surface. A large portion of the papyrus that is supposed to be inside of the phylactery is unreservedly hanging out. Drawn on the surface is a charcoal image depicting a dwarven mob surrounding a kneeling elf.

Crafted of aged beechwood, the mug appears to be a miniature version of a keg -- the bolted steel bands ringing it slightly loose from years of rough use. A plethora of ale-stains have seeped into the ancient wood, imparting a shadowed, splotchy appearance to its unpolished surface. A strip of leather allows the mug to be looped through the belt, and a thick border of grey knotwork edges it, encircling a small invar waraxe inlaid in the center of the worn leather.

These comfortable britches have had several patches added to the many areas afflicted by tears. A few buttons have been randomly sewn on to various places on the britches for no apparent reason. The buckles, rising towards the waist, are made from expertly sutured pearls that increase in size ending in an oversized, cylindrically-shaped grey pearl as the top buckle.

These sturdy dwarven-crafted boots have been cut from supple leather and dyed a deep midnight hue. Stitched along the sides of each boot are tiny glyphs of stealth. Etched into each heel are the words, "Down with the pointy-ears!" Braided leather cording laces up each boot, ending at a perfect emerald sewn into the cuff.

And certain pointy-eared Ebon's Gate alterer was very mean to me when making the clamps and boots.

Polto was cool making the phylactery, and the britches were a last minute pearly grey theme since I couldn't think of anything racist towards elves, and "kiss it, longears" prolly wouldn't have been allowed to be stitched on the back of the britches.

In conclusion, Gate Festival > Life.

Suspended from a twisted-link imflass chain, this pendant has been expertly crafted in fine vultite and shaped into the image of a half-phased moon. Across the face of the pendant the words, "My everything is next to your heart, your loving husband," have been delicately engraved in a swirling script design.

The delicate band is made of sparkling ruby, shimmering and formed to the wearer's finger as if made especially for her. Tiny slivers of diamond have been set into the band, forming what appears to be two entertwining vines, linked together for eternity. Along the inner part of the band reads, "Beginner's love doesn't always remain, We will go on."

Masterfully crafted for stealth as well as comfort, the armor's forging and well oiled sturdy leather attest to the importance it holds in it's owner's eyes. The pristine condition contributes to keeping the wearer safe as well as assuring silence in movement. Intricate sylvan runes of protection are etched upon the rigid surface and crimson silk lines the inside for comfort. An intricately detailed fiery ruby crescent moon can be seen upon the right shoulder pauldron. You also notice a small enchanter's mark.

The thighband is composed of a double layer of supple leather the width of two fingers. The inner side is lined with satin for comfort while a layer of fine black elven silk covers the outer side. Evenly spaced ruby studs faceted into small crescent moons keep the fabrics in place while allowing for a narrow blade to be slipped between the two layers of leather. Delicate ruby-dusted sylvan runes alternate with the studs on the outer side and meet with the reinforced silk straps fastening the garment.

An amazingly detailed moonflower in full bloom has been inked just to the left of the navel, its delicate blossoms spread out and upwards as if worshipping the full opalescent moon above it. The blossoms have been inked in a moonlight silver color, with soft shadowy streaks of shimmering midnight blue ink along the edges and several golden pollen covered stalks springing forth from the middle of the flower daintily. "Zrenigotham" has been inked in scrawling midnight blue script across the moon.

Silvery twinkling stars are set against the backdrop of a moonless night sky tattoo, sparkling brightly in a crescent moon constellation. A string of the silvery stars is inked to wrap around her thigh from the sides of the scene and connect together on the back of the leg. The words "Stunseed's girl" are inked elegantly in cloudy pearlescent letters in the middle of the sky, just beneath the crescent moon.

Some of it doesn't go with the other things due to the ruby theme but they are my favorite items so I never part with them

What may have once been a harmonious musical mechanism is now nothing more then dying metal, producing a tintinnabulation that assaults defenseless ears. Several of the rusted iron tongues are drooping far past the lips due to improper care, adding to the carillons' already decrepit appearance.

You tap an elegant gold thigh-band.

Made from what looks like elven-styled gold but is really a dwarven fake, the thigh-band is etched on each gold-link with detailed scarabs, and is cut to spiral up the wearer's thigh. Fastening the thigh-band at the side is a tiny bent lockpick-shaped clip. Dangling from each tiny gold-link are tiny tear shaped diamonds edged with a subtle layer of glitter.

You tap an elegant intertwined belt.

Lengths of the softest ebon leather have been intricately braided to form this fine belt. Two small pockets have been cleverly concealed within the braid work to hold small items. Fastening the belt is a polished gold buckle inset with a perfect black diamond carved into the shape of a lone wolf.

You tap a low-cut black suede bodice trimmed with tiny black diamonds and laced tightly with soft cream colored ribbon.

You tap a finely tooled modwir scroll case.


The case is admirably made and boasts a high polish. The modwir glows with obvious craftsmanship. On the flat top is a legend, the words carefully rendered. It reads, "For north, turn right. Unless it is a full moon, then turn the other way. For south, act like you know where it is, but turn right. You'll only be wrong half the time. For east and west, try to watch someone else. If that fails, turn the other right."

some crimson edged ebony gloves

These gloves are crafted from the softest, most supple jet black leather possible. Designed to extend just past the wrist, these gloves afford a snug and comfortable fit. On the topside, a pure white wolf is beautifully sewn in silver thread, its amber eyes gazing up at the moon. Stitched in delicate script on the wrist of these gloves are the words, "Elegance is not just my name".

Corset:
With the sophisticated vaalin boning, the accentuation of the female figure is not detracted by the weight of the corset itself. A layer of fine pale linen has been embroidered with an intricate arabesque design wrought in iridescent silk thread. Gossamer ribbons have been threaded through vaalorn eyelets, beautifully complimenting the bodice's adornments.

Wristlet:
Formed from a wide band of raven silk ribbon that has been looped over itself and wrapped around a pure silver band, the wristlet's ends fall in dual streaks of midnight from the wearer's wrist. Each dangling end of the ribbon has been artfully embroidered in silver thread, one with the image of a slim hourglass and the other a broken column.

The show on the wristlet is a bit awkward, I am thinking about changing it around at EG. What do you think?

Yeah, so its a LOT of stuff. I don't think I've had any of my chars wear this much crap in three years. But it just looks so NICE together. And I had to show off some my bad ass catwoman-like gloves.

Reaching just between the shoulder and the elbow, these gloves are fashioned of plush black suede. Careful examination reveals rosette patterning embossed into the hide, much like that of black panther fur. As a finishing touch, tiny ivory claws have been imbedded at the tips of the fingers, purely for decoration, but still dangerously sharp, none-the-less.

Lacking a collar, the crimson linen shirt has a deep v-cut neckline ending in a row of obsidian buttons plumb in the center of the chest. The slender shirt is split up either side and the sleeves are full, with fitted black cuffs.

These slender pants are crafted of smooth, glossy black leather. Two thick silk cords run up the front securely lacing the pants closed, each with a tiny ruby spider attached to the end.

Cross-crossed slivers of silvers disguise the backing of this pin while providing a firm base for the small black spider perched upon them. Carved from a single piece of ebony, the spider is highly detailed, down to the joints in its legs and its multiple eyes. It is poised as if on high alert, its legs completely splayed across its silvery home and firmly anchored over the edge of the web.

These leathers are exceptionally crafted from the finest reinforced doeskin and dyed a deep blood red color. Straps and buckles help keep the leathers snuggly fitted. Faint wisps of silver spiderwebs are embossed on the right shoulder and cascade down across the chest ending on the left hip.

You see your bangle. A small onyx spider rests atop this silver bangle, which has been woven together from thin strands of silver to resemble a web. Age has darkened the silver of the bracelet without detracting from its beauty. Tiny rubies dot the web here and there as it weaves its way around to form a complete circle.

>l pouch
Bloodstained, tattered, and smelling of ale, this pouch has been haphazardly repaired with thick patches of leather. A tarnished steel clasp engraved with the words, "To the victor goes the spoils" dangles from the flap.

>l ring
This pure silver ring has two blackened silver spiders on the top, front legs entwined. The eyes of the spiders are made of four tiny ruby chips. Each spider appears to be facing the other, but whether with contempt or passion is difficult to tell.

>l brace
Each loop of this bracelet has been masterfully crafted from fine vaalin. Gold hearts dangle from the bracelet, each engraved with a different letter spelling out the word, "Unattainable."

The sleeves are crafted from elegant lace spun from pure white spidersilk. Picked out in the lace are a multitude of swirling butterflies, their eyes set with tiny rubies, emeralds and sunstones. At the top of the each is a delicate wooden toggle and loop of lace to attach the sleeves.

Mostly everything is off the rack except the sleeves and the slippers.

The larger upper half of the beak fits comfortably over the nose, covering more than half the face, with the lower half of the beak fitting under the chin to move convincingly with the wearer.

Five sturdy lengths of leather, two of ebon black, one a warm brown, another a light grey, the last a deep shade of umber, have been woven together with subtle skill into complex and intertwining patterns. An intricate knot ties the circlet together, allowing the long leather pieces to fall loosely down the wearer's back. The only other ornamentation on the circlet is a small slender crystal that is tied securely to one of the ebon strands, halfway down its length.

This soft pack is embroidered with a sullen pale lady standing outside an ebon gate ominously dangling keys in her right hand. A small black pearl ebon gate pin securely clasps the pack. Embroidered in fine silvery script are the words: "The Ebon Gate Festival- 5103.

The amulet is filled with crystal clear water and a trio of jewels that glisten in the light.
Beautifully held within two spun tendrils of glass at the heart of the amulet is a glowing soulstone. Edged in filigreed silver, an intricate design of Elven glyphs and flowing Common script has been engraved upon the face. It reads, "Loved, Remembered, Honored." The amulet is suspended from a strong leather cord, surprisingly supple and dark from obvious loving care.

The hilt of the sword is cast from pure imflass and the blade from pure silver. Inscribed along the edge of the blade are the words, "Honor before Glory."

As you rub your knotwork ring, you think fondly of your loved one and the time you shared together.
As you pull slightly on your knotwork ring a sharp pain knifes through your heart, your sense of loss feeling fresh once again.

an embossed leather sword kit
A bit old and worn, the sturdy warm brown leather of this pouch is stained with oils and powders from long use. Tough sinew binds the seams, and small compartments separate the contents within. A large flap secures the kit by being pulled over and clasped firmly with a polished pewter toggle shaped like a woven knot. Embossed on the flap are two swords diagonally crossing each other over a third sword, all three pointing downwards. Around them is a double-banded circle stamped with flaked silver leaf.

Everything off-the-rack save for the corset, belt, and boots. And now she has her neck scar for part of her storyline <squeals with joy>.

This type of pouch, worn by many northern knights, is designed to keep certain essentials at the ready but otherwise stay out of the way.



>l pack
The simple but well made pack is crafted from a fine leather. The pack, obviously designed to carry armour and light weaponry, has been compartmentalized and muffled to prevent the contents from shuffling on a long journey.



>l armband
The material has been looped about itself and braided several times. A small sigil is pressed lightly into the widest of the braids, the marking difficult to decipher into something legible.



A few things about the alters. The surcoat has a spelling error (sparrow hawk should be one word) but Chiv's animal companion is a sparrowhawk, so that works nicely. In the pouch "Northern" is in a Turamzzyrian sense, but what most Gemstone people would think of as southern, Solhaven, Jantalar, that area. The pack is kind of funny because it's an "armor pack" but in the show is holds "armour". I asked for an armour pack but the alterer changed that but not the one in the description.

I'm not happy with the brig, I was the first one picked and got pretty flustered because she wouldn't do what I wanted, she said she wouldn't change the base noun. I wanted an armature, but the thing was, it was actually "brigandine armor" so I told her I'd just take armor, but she made it brigandine for some reason. But for some reason when I interact with it, it still works on armor. IE:

Anyway, since I don't have anything left to alter, I'll just get that changed the next time and tighten it up to fit 15/15/15 and add a simple show on there.
