I usually do not post on boards like this. After being advised to, I decided to make one post. I am sure people have noticed that the character, Teeoncy and the character, Kataleena, have not been around for about 6 months. Recently, I bought the two characters as a package. I have not been advertising this; due to the lack of respect bought characters receive. I have been playing Gemstone IV and below for years now and have run into many incidents where the lack of respect has been noted by myself.

I bought the two characters only to help my smaller characters. Teeoncy is used only for Guild work which is why she is in such a small town. The character Kataleena, was in the package and I thought, “Why not?” But I have found the character Kataleena, useful to bind creatures for my younger characters as well. I also enjoy healing with her. It is a change from the Wizard I played before.

I am not sure if Kenn did or did not have a conversation like the one he posted with “LadyTeeoncy.” So I can not call him a liar. I am sure at his age he is well respected. I know the person behind the characters (Teeoncy/Kataleena) before loved drama it seems. I myself would like to stay as far from it as possible.

I did ask the player Ken (I assume that is his name.), through his character not to post things for drama. I will make it a note not to duel anymore and to just leave him and his characters Girlfriend alone in the game. It was his idea to duel. I thought it would be interesting to see how the character Teeoncy does in duels. It will not be happening again. I’ve played old Warriors before in Gemstone. I would rather play a caster. I find those more interesting.

I believe there was another Log of me killing someone. That all started when my Character Teeoncy, was sitting in TSC in the landing. Some guy was bothering the healers and such but was obviously afraid to leave the safety of the sanctuary. So, I took care of him out of the Sanctuary. I have always believed that characters as many trains as Teeoncy, should stand up for those professions such as healers. Not to stick their nose into others business, but to do what is right, and to protect the town. But I can not put honor in a character such as Teeoncy who has obviously been so slandered.

I believe that in the past, the player of the characters Teeoncy and Kataleena, has always had Teeoncy as her main character. Perhaps one day I will hunt her to cap. But until then, she will sit and be still. I would rather hunt my characters that I have raised entirely on my own. Also from now on, if you compare the two characters Teeoncy and Kataleena, Kataleena will probably be seen around more. Like I stated above, I enjoy casters more.

In closing, I would like to thank those who took the time to read this. I would also like to, as a player, extend my friendship out to those who will accept it. If anyone is around in Vaalor, please feel free to contact me for Warrior Guild work or for healing (I will be happy to fog out to where you are hunting for a quick heal or if your character happens to fall). I also enjoy taking characters out to hunt with Kataleena there to bind them if anyone is interested in that. I understand bought characters are not respected much, but anything has to be better then the player before me. ::chuckles to herself behind the screen:: I may not post much, but I do read. I understand your hatred for the player that started Kataleena/Teeoncy. Believe me, I had it to.

I hope all the players out there have a wonderful summer day, and all the characters out there hunt well.

Anyone is welcome to contact me at GSLady17. I enjoy meeting new people and hearing about their adventures in Gemstone.

Thank You.

If you really care mostly about guild work you might not want to stack RT like that on someone. A character, especially one like Teeoncy, can get kicked out of the guild for abusing guild skills.

I was trying to remember when it happened but had Nauriel and Chiv ever interacted before? I wasn't sure if they actually knew each other at all, so that's why I went with the tack I took. My memory really sucks but I don't think they had.

heh, I was wondering why he went nuts....she was just jesting, as I cant remember who the mutual friend was that introduced them in solhaven one morning. I think it was Kyirin maybe? Dont remember...remember some joking about Chiv and hands in his pockets, because Nauri kept trying to take his silver as a joke, and she kept getting caught. And he said he just liked the hands in his pockets;)

Thank you for that Information. I thought that during a duel that was accepted by both characters that it didn't matter. I won't be dueling anymore though. I am sure that Information will come in handy in the future though. I did not know how much RT the character Teeoncy would put his character in. Like I said, I am not familiar with the character Teeoncy yet which is partly why I dueled.

Thank you.

What you people fail to understand is there is a far greater challenge in actually attempting to keep the elf alive, rather than killing her.

Now I've got to figure out how to work this out in-game.

You say you understand and shared the hatred of Teeoncy and her alts yet went and bought the acct (so you say) anyway.

Buy the character, buy the history.

Deal with it.

Ps: Her characters weren't slandered. Slander implies that the allegations thrown at her were false. They are not. Her reputation was ruined, yes, but at her own hands.

If you aren't Lady Teeoncy in AIM, why did you whisper for me to IM you? Something's seriously wrong with the logic center of your brain.

For the record, when she killed me, it was during an arranged duel with another person. As for me being afraid to leave the sanct, no, I wasn't "afraid" to move, I wasn't looking for violence with people I know that either I could kill easily or easily be killed by. I wasn't in the mood to go about dueling, and I definately don't enjoy violence between myself and empaths, no matter that 90% of the empaths in todays GemStone are a bunch of idiots. I would suggest that you do your research into a situation and see what's what before jumping into something like an arranged duel between two combatants that are in consentual CvC before trying to play badass and make yourself look silly. If you want to preserve Teeoncy's previous reputation, you're off to a good start. If you want to turn her into a respectable person and recieve the respect that most people give others off-hand, I have no doubt you can do that as well. In the end, it's your call, just think about what you're going to do before you do it and how things will turn out in the end.

Your little empath has already pissed off my sorcerer buy sticking her nose in my sorcerers business and calling her a theif.. THEN running to a table and unpresencing. Teeoncy also stuck her nose in business that wasn't hers and was blatantly OOC by whispering to me that she "saw a log" of what happened. I would suggest to you that you keep your nose out of other people's business unless invited.

Vigilant night guardsmen scrutinize the citizens and travelers arriving and departing

streets of the city to the south are a far cry from the deceptively calm expanse of the

wilds of Elanith outside. Two daunting towers survey the countryside and protect the town,

flanking the road to the east and west. You also see a wooden barrel.

The night watchman then drags you off.

DOFL! Makes me wonder if the person on the other side of the monitor behind Teeoncy isn't a mid 30s, lives with mom & dad, prematurely balding, online girlfriend in another state that he's worried she's cheating on him with someone from Iceland, low self esteem and still wears headgear to straighten out horrible teeth that could finely grate a block of cheddar into nacho worthy cheese, guy.

So I was at the park and sillvento walked in and started casting at me out of nowhere. He blew off a couple of my limbs when I least expected it so I got healed and finally caught up with him and this is what happened...

Foxye wipes some icky residue from her face and looks about the area.

I wish I still had the log from the Coinner massacre. Caught Coinner stealing from me... tracked him down in Landing and killed him. Sillvento jumped in. Killed him. Then I waited for them outside of Voln, killed them both again. Fhin came up and started mocking and robbing the corpses after I kept them, Shumpster came out of invis and 908'd Fhin, then I dropped Shumpster. Man those guys were SO much fun. I kinda miss 'em.

Man, all these logs are so disapointing, I pulled up some old logs where Sillvento actually dies. I had just died which explains the high RT.

The voice of Coinner says, "And you will die."

I think he had just been made a GM right around then and was probably just a little over-zealous at the time. I think Emeradan is a fine GM personally.

I didn't actually know about the link thing at the time or else I might have. In general that character wouldn't kill anyone in that matter at all but Silvento is so serpent-like he leaves you little choice.

[Top of the World, Aenatumgana]
Rocks and chunks of ice litter the narrow trail, left behind from a previous avalanche or signs of one to come. Overhead, more threaten to dislodge as the elements continually erode the cliff face. A barren, icy slope stretches down to the south, dissappearing out of sight.

Confidently, you begin to climb up the slope. Within a short time, you have reached the top.

Come over, I'll commence with the slapping on behalf of everyone here.

No, no. No reason to applaud, or send fruit baskets, or other gifts of gratuity. Honestly, I do this for the good of mankind, thusly, a price cannot be put on it.

Oh, one other thing, you assholes stop posting ordinary "I died hunting, this critter killed me" deaths on the DUELER'S FORUM. C'mon fuckers. More CvC! PK Your asses off! Critter deaths are boring and dull. It's 100 times better to check in here and see someone you hate get their ass handed to them than to see someone getting slain by a critter. That happens to everyone, all the time.

That is all, ladies and gentlemen. I'm glad you could all make it, and I hereby call this meeting adjourned.

You exclaim, "Thump thump!"
Xasmed exclaims, "By the power of the Infernal Thump of Ultimate DOOM, I bid you life!"
The ghostly voice of Michiko exclaims, "Thump thump yourself!"
Xasmed kneels down.
You snicker at Michiko.
Xasmed thumps the dead body of Michiko. It doesn't help, she's still dead.
You whistle tunelessly to yourself, remembering days past.
Xasmed exclaims, "Doink!"
Xasmed raises a hand while murmuring a soft orison...
Xasmed gestures at Michiko.
Xasmed suddenly looks very drained.

A bolt of soft white light streaks down from the sky bathing Michiko in it.

A brilliant glow forms around Michiko, lingers for a moment, and finally fades. Michiko awakens looking somewhat confused and seriously drained.
Michiko's body suddenly grows darker.

Speaking to Michiko, you say, "You got doinked by a Zelian giantkin in a war mantle."
You snicker.

Xasmed cackles!
Michiko asks, "...doinked?"
Jaysehn rolls his eyes.
Xasmed blurs into a white fog and vanishes!

Stunseed just came through an immense iron door.
A dark-coated puma saunters in.
You say, "You just missed the Zelian."
Michiko shakes her head, totally at a loss.
You chuckle.
Stunseed asks, "Oh?"
Barely muffled blasts of thunder from somewhere above the castle rock every stone, every brick, every nerve in the beleagured old fortress.
You say, "Ayup, he doinked Michiko."
You snicker.
Michiko says, "Yes, let's not inform Stunseed of what just transpired---"
Michiko says, "Gah, too late."
You giggle.
Stunseed rubs his chin thoughtfully.
Stunseed says, "No wonder your hips are so big."
You stare at Stunseed, folding your arms expectantly across your chest.
Michiko exclaims, "What?!"

No the empath I had a problem with was Wylyna or something like that.. she called in kritz, so after I imploded kritz to death, kritz whined saying how low I was to use implode.. haha I knew she was older than me. She was stupid if she didnt think I would use it.

Tell me that's not the most annoying thing in the world. Someone complaining about what kind of spell you use to kill them, like they wouldn't use the most powerful attack they had to kill you. It'd be like saying, 'You fucking cheapass rogue, how dare you hide and ambush me!'.

So this kind of relates to death. I wasn't sure if it deserved it's own topic or not. If this is way off topic, then it can be moved if needed. I just thought that since It has to do with death, it would fit.

This has to do with dying in the tower, and what you should do. I would like any advice or opinions I could get related to this post.

None of my Characters have ever hunted in the Tower before in the Elven Nations. So when I started, and died (since skills were being fixed, the tower was a little difficult at first.) A kind Sorcerer brought me into town and I was raised. Walking back to my table, (which is located out side of town) I realized my stomach was doing very odd things. I quickly found out from a friend that I was in fact, about to birth Moulis babies. I was also told, that they would not hatch if I was in town. So I ran back to town and hid my gurgling, shamefully tummy until the clerics link had dropped. I then went off outside of town to give birth.

This was a total new thing to me. The next person to come to my aid after dying, then advised me that when I die in the tower, if there is no one around and a Moulis comes in, to decay.

So a few days later, I died again. This time with four Moulis’s in the room. Because of the screen scroll, I did not see the Moulis lay eggs in me until after I had quickly and frantically decayed. But feeling ok, I went back to recover from deaths sting.

Well, sure enough my stomach started acting funny again. Again, I died when the eggs hatched.

So there is a little back round.

Today I am hunting in the tower and stumble along a dead body. Seeing that yes, they were about to give birth, I quickly gave them LK. I did it without asking. Something that is rare for me to do. However, it takes quite a toll on your stats to decay, then, die again three minutes later.

I then tried to reach for her hand to fog her into town. I discovered quickly that not only was her group closed, but she was also either sleeping, or having computer problems. So I sat there. A few came to sit with me, but didn’t stay long. I kept the room clear of Moulis so that she would not be injected with Eggs again. A Wizard, and I believe a Ranger came to give me company for awhile but after some time she logged. I waited about ten minutes but then I made sure there was a marker (a moldy cup cake) in the room (it’s a maze and I always get lost) and went to a few surrounding rooms to try and fry. After I fried I again went back to the room to wait.

She didn’t come back in the half hour I waited in the tower. Finally it dawned on me, that I could simply highlight her name in red and then turn my flag on to show who logs on. I had that on for about an hour until it finally started to drive me insane with the screen scroll.

I guess I kind of have a question. Did I do what I was supposed to do? Should I have waited to see if she would respond before I gave her LK? I did do it rather fast, I didn’t know how long she had been dead and didn’t want her to decay only to die shortly after.

Are there any unwritten rules for the tower in a situation like this?

What Dionisius meant to say is that you probably should have made a new thread with your question, as this thread is normally about dueling (though a lot of people, me included, have posted deaths from hunting).

Domas has become another village idiot I see. That retard tried to call lighting on Gushi in solhaven. He was what 10 trains at the time and Gushi 50 atleast. Gushi stayed in the room through the entire duration and wathed as Domas's dumb ass was dragged off to jail.

That poor bastard really needs to reroll as an Aelotoi Bard so he kin be that troopin fairy we all know he is.

Lol...I actually had a funny conversation between him and I, I should of saved it. It kind of went like...

Domas- If I wanted to kill you I would
Me- Prove it
Domas- No, you're not worth my time
Me- How nice of you (meaning you fucking queer, shut the fuck up).

That happened maybe 5 minutes prior to my weak-ass show of killing him. I'm almost embarrassed to post that.

Speaking to you, Arkans says, "Thank you, my dear."

Stay peers quizzically at you.
You nod to Stay.

Stay points his sword at you. Suddenly, a blinding red light lashes out at you!
You notice a small cloud form above you.
Stay put a massive vaalorn sword in his armor-plated harness.
>
(Arkans ruffles Chica's hair with his hand.)

The storm cloud begins to build into a thunderhead!

You hear the rumbling of thunder as the cloud turns an ominous dark hue!

With great ease, the Guard Captain grabs Stay and shackles his wrists.

"Aha, rapscallion! I have you!" the Guard Captain cries out.
The Guard Captain then drags him off.

You laugh, the sepulchral sound echoing through the room.

I know firsthand warn interact, assist/report does DICK. Sillvento killed me in the park for killing a rolton, literally. So being about 3x my age, I told em to leave me alone. He killed me again, so I warn interacted, assisted, reported, THREE times since then have I done that, and I still see him fucking with people all the time. So warn interact/assist/report=bullshit.

Warn Interact does work unless you're a fucking retard. Warn Interaction doesn't stop a player killing other people. It stops them from fucking with you and even then you can cancel it by interacting with them or talking about them.

Warn Interact is very simple to use. If they break the warn interaction, and this goes only if you yourself hasn't broken it, you can report/assist and they will be logged. It doesn't mean they'll get banned instantly, in fact they need to witness them doing it. But it does work. I've seen it work and had it work myself.

allen
08-13-2005, 08:06 AM
Ahh I got you, of course in MOST cases it works, I just get frustrated when I know this guy makes it his duty to go to the park and fuck with people and gets away with it. He is constantly getting arrested, people like that ruin the game. I myself get into a few conflicts every so often, but atleast it's RP and not someone for killing a rolton in the park. A few people have told me Sillvento never used to be like that which leads me to believe, well you know.

StrayRogue

I agree. And I agree that the GM's don't seem to give a shit about these people (like him, Solescape, Atreau etc). All I was told in my conflicts was to report each time you saw them being an ass. And I guess thats all you can do.

Um, thats not possible. You're at least 17, probably around 25 and Hadya is level 29-30.

Not sure how old you think she is, but she's not.

Hey, Vles for your information, I'm not 15 over your head. Hadya is 30 as Xandalf said, second you are 20 I know this because you have a familiar you ass.

The first time you killed me you did it when I didn't have my staff out my spells wore off and you struck from invisbility with using all your signs including sign of madness...

Second time, this one you posted Hadya's nerves were shot and she had 20k in coin on her.

Oh but you forgot to post your third and fourth attempt tonight when I didn't have any coin on me I dodged both attacks, and you ran back to the inn like a coward.

I'm just here Clarifiying a little on your bragging rites

Demanec gestures at you.
A void rips open in the area, directly above you!
Debris strikes you in the leg.
+13 Hits.
Your elven brigandine protects your legs from injury.

Everything in the room seemed to stay in place. The void disappears without further incident.

He now wants me to survive 3 implosions in a row. Not because he wants to kill me, oh no. He says he has faith that I'll live. And that I should have more faith in my abilities. I'm rather happy with my not being dead and 100k.

Ah got ya, someone told me you were 35. Yep that's fine, I have no problem admitting I failed to kill you when you've got 10 trains on me. I just love when people make excuses for getting killed. What's the point? Everyone gets fucked up sometimes. Maybe I should post our little conversation on AIM when you IM'd me asking me to 'leave my Hadya alone please'. Maybe you shouldn't have fucked with me that day in Sol. Anyway, I'm not going to go back and forth with you on here, I'll see you in the game.

Murder someone from hiding, great RP! No interaction, no words exchanged, I marvel at your style. Knowing Hadya to be one of the better roleplayers around, you should consider actually verbalizing a conflict rather than an infantile display of "my guns are bigger than yours".

To Hadya's Player: It's apparent your polite bid for him to stop such random acts, that have zero to do with roleplaying, have fallen on deaf ears. My suggestion is "warn interact", report report report.

To Vlec's player: If you knew the character Hadya, you would in fact know death doesn't deter or bother her IF in fact there is a roleplaying reason for it. You might check out the small park for some random violence without purpose.
