I think my main problem with it is that I can't really picture 77 strange sigils, it would seem to me like the sigils themselves would have to be too small to make out easily if you can fit 77 of them on a shield. And secondly, my character isn't going to stop and count the number of sigils on the shield... so for everyone who comes in contact with it to automatically know there's 77 there.. well.. I guess I'm just being pretty anal about it.

In bygone times, gold or silver filigree was often attached to gowns/robes. The filigree was made of very fine silver, gold, or platinum wire. I've seen small bits of it on old gowns from the Victorian era. :)

As someone who works as a historical costumer, I can say that in terms of using the word "filigree" in referencing an article of cloth...would rarely (if ever) happen. Filigree implies the use of metal threads not just fanciful onamentiation. Just looking at the skirt it doesn't make sense as a tap, even more so with the show.

And in my experience in Plat, there is only one person who gives me a bad image of it. And he's on the upsell team.

SORT AUTO HEAD is your friend. However, aside from that, I really don't think its bad at all. I've interacted in Plat with Teekee quite a bit and she's always been very pleasant and IC. :shrug:

Actually, just sort auto head doesn't always work. Pinworn items tend to show up in odd places, so if you do a sort auto head, check your inventory and use Sort up (item) or sort down (item) to get it where you want it. Then, each time you log in, if you are upside down (ie. shoes/skirt on your head) just type SORT AUTO REVERSE and it simply reverses your inventory without moving things around in order.

I find references to my "image" funny, as it's apparently reflected by my apathy to OOC matters in a video game. I should change my signature to Teekee bitching at the end of the last storyline about a game mechanic that screwed it up, but she was too retarded to stop talking about it after hints were dropped that a mistake was made. Instead? She threw a fit and left, missed the finale. Heh. Drama gets you left out, sucker.

And anyone ignorant enough to judge Plat based on wether one person's opinion on a topic; disagrees with, agrees with, or choses to be blunt about how ignorant some jackasses are, doesn't belong in Plat anyhow. A GM might fireball them, and they'd have to go cry into their pillow over it.

Did you read even the current docs? The Arkati never fought the Drakes. The Drakes and Arkati fought the Ur-Daemon's together, what few Arkati fought.. that is. It's hideous, trolls are hideous. I think its vacant eyes are quite a comedy aspect and they're made of something that's not uncommon in Elanthia.

Technically, a rune can also be an item (stone, wood, etc) that has a runic symbol on it. But, yeah... stupid alteration, no matter the technicalities.

Yeah.. a bad alteration isn't the same thing as an ugly item. One of my favorite altered items in game is pretty "ugly" when you think about it but the alter itself is good.
