That's what all the giggly / goofy ones say.

You're free to come find out just how giggly and goofy this Aelotoi Empath is.

Disclaimer: I take no responsibility for bones turning to jello or exploding balls of plasma.

Oh, and that all those barf-tastic alters got done before I finally got spun last night isn't fair. On the plus side, the merchants did end up doing work for everyone that stuck around.

With the festivals coming up.. I've seen a whole bunch of just terrible stuff.

Mistykris taps a pair of sleek thigh-high black leather boots accented with flawless rubies in the shape of kitten paws dangling from the cuffs that she is
wearing.

Galenblackbard puts on a pristine white gold scroll-shaped sigil-etched buckle.

Just... ugh.

Should have seen what it was before....

Funny thing about that is, the guy is seriously old school. He's not one of those schmos who used a bunch of premium points to alter everything. He's one of those 14 year vets that chased all the merchants down the hard way back in the day.

I do agree, however, that it's a crazy block of text.

Anyone on here remember Oxxon and his ribbon obsession? That was hilarious.

Thats was along time ago.....

Are you kidding me? This thing is AMAZING.

It's almost as good as the dark brown coat striped with various strips of red salted leather.

Also;

Speaking in Elven to Dawe, Nihrvanah asks, "Quick question... can you make these a bodysuit?"

A bolt of lightning streaks down from the sky and strikes Nihrvanah!

Electrical charge toasts Nihrvanah. You get a sharp whiff of burning hair.

Clearly two people that do have excellent taste in style.

You tap a glistening bacon-hued bourde gown with thickly cut amaranthine vertical stripes blending to a white frothy hemline in a small turnip-clasped neckpouch.

You tap a dark brown coat striped with shades of marbled red salted leather in a small turnip-clasped neckpouch.

You tap a silver-veined krodera signet incised with a bacon-wrapped turnip intaglio in a small turnip-clasped neckpouch.

You see a glyph-like mark on the krodera signet:

And the other thing, what is the frothy hemline??

As one of several co-designers to the bacon gown, I think the best course of action is to simply take it a face value. It's a gown with bacon-like qualities, QED it's an awesome gown. The frothy hemline? That's the sweet, juicy bacon-fat.

GMs throw out wacky stuff like that all the time like the apron and greatcloak I found with a fork-impaled cat embroidered on them. They're borderline OOC, but they're a good reminder that at least some GMs still have a good sense of humor. The fact that this even got made was a win in itself.

Oh seriously? You have to admit the picture is entertaining. Personally I think the forearm sleeves are ridiculous. This thread is for bad alters, not just alters that you think are bad. The picture's funny but I don't think that really matches the description of the sleeves I made, which were more like this:

http://anime-wallpapers.com/images/800x600/yuna-final-fantasy-10.jpg

At least, that's what I was trying for. I tested it on a few people and that's the image that came up in their minds, but then, not everyone is acquainted with that character. I personally think Astari wearing a gown over her armor is ridiculous too, but we all have different tastes, I guess. We'll have to agree to disagree.

I'm normally one for never leaving off a color or material. Pretty anal about it, in fact because how can you not see the color on an item?! Crazy! But in this case, I want them to go with anything so I left the color and material off and it can just be assumed the same color as whatever dress she's wearing.

DCSL

I'd rather have a color on something than a fabric, personally, because not everyone can recognize a fabric when it walks past them on the street but I can always tell someone's wearing a black coat, a white shirt, blue jeans, and that kind of thing.

WAIT, she'll be our ig gf if we have a tea set?! Hey... by the way, I have a tea set...

You tap an ebonwood case inlaid with silver filigree, which is in your right hand.

open case
You unlatch the toggle on your ebonwood case and hear a strange whirring sound, causing you to remove your hand from the toggle. Within seconds, a tiny opening appears at the top of the case and the thin doors are drawn away from each other. The doors at the hinges bend and slide into a small compartment at the bottom, turning the case into a serving platter.

You remove a vaalin-caged delicate glass teacup from the stack on your ebonwood platter.

>look teacup
Cradled in a delicate cage of thin, black vaalin filigree, the teacup is crafted of an extremely high quality glass that is smooth and seamless. Slender, but sturdy, loops flow out of one side of the piece to create a lovely handle of stylized leaves, while the base of the cage is designed to support the frail body of glass in its center. A fine lip of vaalin fuses the two contrasting components together and gives the piece a refined appearance.

My tea set is obviously pretty and therefore she should be my IG GF.

I have NO clue how you can have calf-high mid-boots as I am reasonably sure mid-boots are somewhere ankle-ish. I don't remember exactly where I got them, but I'm pretty sure it was from a box. I don't know why I haven't thrown them in a trashbin other than to prove that someone really did think they were worth creating.

Never liked the precious stones all over. I think I had some glasses with star sapphire lenses made once, though. I'm not sure if that would even make sense, once the sapphires are cut into lenses. I sense a theme here.

You see Kalivar Ravaston.
He appears to be a Giantman.
He is very tall and appears to be wizened with age. He has jackal-like onyx black eyes and tanned skin. He has shoulder length, wavy jet black hair streaked with silver. He has a neatly-trimmed beard.
He has a hand-blown glass ship pipe clenched between his teeth, a tattoo on his forearm of a wide-eyed pudgy little halfling choking on a tart, an intricate circular-patterned tattoo of Sheruvian hieroglyphs on his wrist, and a tattoo of a crimson-eyed black jackal devouring the body of a dead halfling on his neck.
He has old battle scars on his right hand.
He is wearing some faded black jackal skin armor, a branching glowbark tree pin, a minikin antiqued gold scroll, a scarred nightmare hide satchel, a tear-cut red dreamstone stickpin, some raven-hued jackal skin pants, a silver and amber pin, a gold-inset onyx cabochon pin, a smooth black willow ankle scabbard, a tattered cloak fashioned of furry jackal skins stitched together with brown wool thread, a dark leather tobacco pouch, a pair of well-tailored black jackal skin gloves, a jackal-carved glowbark bracer set with a silver-caged black crystal, a wooden bead bracelet, a howling black jackal mask, a pair of scarlet-swirled black boots, an inky black jackal-shaped pin, a gold ring, a twisted vaalin lavaliere inset with a tiny black onyx jackal's head, an aged black leather augur's satchel clasped tightly with a small black onyx jackal's head, a small dark leather pipe case, a vaalin-bound red sapphire symbol inset with a tiny onyx jackal's head, some blackened veniom cufflinks, an onyx and vaalin crown, an onyx jackal-linked wristcuff engraved with a contorted symbol of Ronan, a whittled tobacco barrel, a tiny mithril cage lavaliere, and a silver-tailed black lizard.

Is that guy a Sheruvian?

Haha, sorry I had to do it.

I don't know where to start but the brigandine is probably a good place ...

You see Aisalt Kho'Rinth the Spiritcaller.

She has waist length, thick coal black hair drawn back from her face and bound in place by an interlocking silver ring circlet set with a silvery blue mermaid's-tear sapphire. She has an oval face, an upturned nose and high cheekbones.
She is in good shape.
She is wearing some vibrant blue coral earrings shaped like tiny siren mermaids with frothy aqua tails, a wavy-hammered silvery rolaren choker centered with a dangling somber blue mermaid's-tear sapphire, a silver-lined ocean blue cloak fastened with a mermaid's-tear sapphire clasp, a pair of pale silver spectacles dotted with tiny frost agate chips, a small carved platinum pendant of a mermaid's face in profile, a glaesine crystal dragonfly, an onyx-inlaid round mithril brooch, a lapis lazuli-bound silk badge, a pair of vivid blue gloves stitched with tiny mermaids, a ring of silver knotwork pin inlaid with sparkling blue sapphires, some fine ocean blue silk stockings, a twilight blue silk bodice with a light ocean-hued lace overlay, a ruby-adorned red velvet vest, an ocean blue lacquered weapon harness inlaid with deep blue mermaid's-tear sapphires slung over her shoulder, a battered tower shield with a twisted scrap metal mermaid welded to the front slung over her other shoulder, an ocean blue leather backpack adorned with mermaid's-tear sapphires, some seductive ora-tentacled brigandine, an ocean blue opal set in a ring of silver imflass dolphins, a moonstone wedding ring, a sparkling eternity ring of mermaid's tear sapphires, a twilight blue sack, a small maoral dart case, a sea blue satchel, a twilight blue skirt shot through with fine silver threads, and some ocean blue braided leather sandals.

Darker than the other stone wings of the cavern shop, the lighting is so subtle that it appears to emanate from the very items for sale. Fat strips of woven leather cover the floor, padding the walk in front of an open black modwir case and a long counter edged with urglaes fixtures. The warm ambiance of the rest of the shop is only paces away, yet seems distant from within the shadowy chill.

Obvious exits: north

In the black modwir case you see some flame-edge decorated slim leathers (91k), a stylized fire painted mithril hauberk (295k) and an enameled crimson steel coif (19.5k).

On the long counter you see a wisp-painted crimson vultite hauberk (285k), some shapely mithglin-spiked brigandine (124k) and some seductive ora-tentacled brigandine (50k - weighs 25, 2x).

I just want to know how black Maelshyve is/was--does my character know how black the keep of Despana was?? Or maybe the talisman is an actual piece of Maelshyve itself and the talisman is just "black". These are the first two alters I got. Think I was about 15 at the time. They're not top-tier horrible but they're pretty cliched:

>tap cloak
You tap a voluminous dismal-grey cloak, which is in your left hand.
>look cloak
The cloak's long grey folds appear to shroud the wearer from both harsh elements and prying eyes. The clever design of the cloak conceals not only the form within, but movement as well. The fabric weaves and doubles back on itself in many places, maintaining a constant, pallid hue despite the shadows cast on it by its own folds. The color, or lack thereof, is unusual, to say the least.

>tap sat
You tap a weathered grey traveler's satchel with a tarnished silver soulstone clasp, which is in your left hand.

I've got a couple bad ones. Here's one I had made on a whim by a GM known for letting anything fly:

a majestic dragon carving:

From its tiny spindly legs to the sinuous S-shaped curve of its body to the single muscular arm protruding from the back of its neck, this unlikely dragon somehow has an aura of majesty. Its jaws are open in a roar, or perhaps to breathe fire, revealing a mouth full of sharp, irregularly-spaced teeth. Its eyes are beady, its brow furrowed in anger, and its disproportionately small wings are splayed in a gesture of defiance.

Even without catching the reference, I'm surprised that was let through. Kind of ashamed of it, but ended up at a room-order alterer with nothing I needed ready to go, so figured I'd get something done. Heh.

some brown trim white and gold leathers
The armor is styled of bright white leather, curiously spongy and lightly speckled with a golden brown dye. The wide leather trim that runs the length of the arms and legs is a dull light brown color and appears to be rife with hairline cracks all the way around. Set at the center of the chest is a large, flattened cube of pure gold, seeming to melt into the fabric. Oddly, the leathers exude the scent of fresh toast. You also notice a small enchanter's glyph.

Since there's bacon armor (I'm assuming in Prime), just wanted to let everyone my little cleric still has toast armor!

some brown trim white and gold leathers
The armor is styled of bright white leather, curiously spongy and lightly speckled with a golden brown dye. The wide leather trim that runs the length of the arms and legs is a dull light brown color and appears to be rife with hairline cracks all the way around. Set at the center of the chest is a large, flattened cube of pure gold, seeming to melt into the fabric. Oddly, the leathers exude the scent of fresh toast. You also notice a small enchanter's glyph.

Sorry, but you posted this in the wrong thread.

It's all those right angles on the sledge's head; they do a lot of slash damage. And, of course, the bloody hand for maximum gore.

I got her armor done, when she gets it in a few levels it will be this
"How about a shifting silvery blue barrier, with a show of: Wavering air of silvery blue and iridescent particles coalesce to form a shimmering force field. Waves of cerulean blue swirl through the pale background, creating a pattern of angular runes, axe heads, and swords. Darker blue motes of air form sparkling starry skies through which burst the wavering images of powerful bears and dark ethereal unicorns, the darker motes dissipating into a shimmer when the creatures pass the stars."

Ok I saw this today in Prime..

>look mum
You see Mumblz Half-Halflin' the Treasure Hunter.
He appears to be a Half-Elf.
He is tiny and appears to be immature. He has bright hazel eyes and rosy skin. He has long, amber hair that is riddled with bits of sugar cookie crumbs and piled upon his head in a haphazardous heap. His dimpled cheeks are two round apples, rosy and pink, though a few freckled spots stand out here and there.
You can hardly recognize him covered in all that soot and ash!
He has a sunny yellow rolton tattoo on his head, a sunny yellow rolton tattoo on his neck, a sunny yellow rolton tattoo on his ear, a sunny yellow rolton tattoo on his wrist, a sunny yellow rolton tattoo on his arm, and a grumpy tinker gnome tattoo on his foot.

...Seriously? "Half-Halflin'" and then a "pile" of sugar and shit on his head? Retarded. Utterly retarded.

I love how much there is going on with these things. They're boots. Boots for WAR. Which is manly. And they're scaled! Also manly. With spikes. From DRAGONS. Which is totally manly. And they've been through the fires of manhood!

...but then they lose the masculinity by bringing up the elves. Or making the dragons into weird elf dragons. I'm not sure with that arrangement. Either way, elves are not manly.

She appears to be a Faendryl Dark Elf.
She is taller than average and appears to be youthful. She has gold-flecked amber eyes and flawless, dark skin. She has thigh-length, silky stygian hair streaming in layered rivulets that curl slightly upward. She has a heart-shaped face, an upturned nose and sharply-curved pointed ears. She has full lips naturally tinged a light red hue.

She is wearing a tin-bound maoral Adventurer's Guild badge, a sleek stygian black bodysuit cut to leave the midriff bare, a gem-strung dark ora chain ferroniere, an elegantly draped softly-rippled cloak adorned with verlok feathers, a violent red lace gown with a rustling snow white taffeta petticoat, a veil iron wedding armband, an exotic blood red rose, a feather-adorned satchel slung over her shoulder, an engraved silver bracelet, a polished gold ring, a hazy glass ring, a black rolaren mesh sack, a small rune bag clasped with a carved black-ora verlok'cina, a small grey paintbrush pouch, and a pair of bewitching slippers.
