MADE CUPCAKES FOR WORK, for my birthday.. ironically I got a lot of "zomg u should become a baker!!" emails. On the plus side, I love cooking and baking 100 times more now that I don't do it as a living. They were peanut butter cake with marshmallow frosting, and some had jam inside.

Thank you about the hair! I chopped it short into a pixie a year ago in a few weeks, and only now am I okay letting it grow out again.

I kind of want to keep it short for the next couple of years but I do miss my long hair at times. Quite the shock to go from waist-length to above the ears.

Not many people can pull off that pixxie-type cut! I really like it on you. Its cute.

I got my hair cut a while ago and nearly cried. I don't even have long hair but I was terrified of it being "short"! but yours is a whole new type of short! lol

Ya'll may or may not know I'm pregnant again...if you didn't know, now you do! I had my 20-week ultrasound this past Tuesday (at technically 19wks 6days) and thought I'd share one of the images (it's probably huge, but I'm preggers, it's hot, and I'm therefore feeling too lazy to resize it):

By the way, we were able to find out it's a boy, but since I figure everyone around here know what those parts look like already, it's not worth posting that image. (Besides, it's not boobs, so 95% of you wouldn't care.)

He's due to make his official entrance on December 8. Hopefully he won't come so early as to be a Thanksgiving baby; it's a bit of a bummer that there's no really safe way for him to be a Christmas baby.

Congratulations! My daughter was expected to be a Christmas baby and she was born in November. They make their own time. Have a healthy pregnancy and quick delivery. :)

My luck comes from having a handsome hubby, who has gorgeous sisters. Thank goodness my kiddos look like Dad. That being said.. I feel the motherly urge to share pics of the rest of my kiddos. They are just as lovely in attitude and character.

Sweet. Corfu is an island just north of there. Awesome place to vacation and party. Greece/Turkey were my favorite places to go, because the weather and beaches were amazing, the nightlife was great, and all of the old tombs and ruins and places to visit are perfect for people into ancient history.

Edit: However, the Beach I was at this past weekend, St. Augustine Beach (lots of confederate flags), it is totally unacceptable. The stares, double looks and the pointing was funny to see. To tell you the truth, I never wear speedos even at my local beaches, only when I'm somewhere else.

Erm. I can't really speak for SomeRogue or Liagala, but I'll speak for myself. I only think of crashed as a funny term and not something bad. Calidus approached Liagala a little while after we'd arrived and introduced himself and the people with him- we asked them if they wanted to push their table over and join us after a little bit of talking. They had their own drinks, tab, and table before we invited them to join us. A couple other things.. I have no stake or involvement in the Marlu/Vanguard stuff, so for me personally I didn't really care about that, hence me jokingly referring to myself as Switzerland. I talked mostly to Calidus and Krissta but they were all very nice to me.

I like to drink (no really!) and I'm of 'the more the merrier' mindset when it comes to a night out, I like to meet new people and to me it just wasn't a big deal.

Sorry I had to bail on you guys, looks like it was a blast. Honestly, when drinking is involved, we always have a good time... it doesn't much matter who is there, but again I don't really have a horse in the Marlu race.

Thanks for sharing the pics and making me more jealous. I'll be sure to buy all of you a round next time. (And apparently I now owe Liagala for TWO botched birthday thangs...)

I planned for HOURS Friday afternoon with Nikki, because I wanted to go there after being at Doyles for a bit and get breakfast at midnight. She was telling me repeatedly how good it was.

Krissta used to go there all the time in Portsmouth, NH, and always told me how great it is.

Wow. Lots of drama about party crashing. For the record, while I didn't technically invite the Marlu clan to my birthday party, it wasn't a creepy-stalker-party-crash either. I had been talking to Calidus in IM, and mentioned my birthday plans. We talked about it a little, and I told him where I'd be and when. He joked around about crashing the party - I thought he was completely joking, so we ran with it and goofed off for a few. That may have seemed like an invitation, or he may have just decided later that he really was going to show up. I don't know, and care less. I was surprised but pleased when I saw that he really was there. There are other things from that night I'm not completely thrilled at, but not this. We drank lots and had a great time. As it was my birthday party, what I say goes. So there. :P

In other news, tequila shots make one hell of a way to see your 20's off.

I feel so left out, so in order to talk about myself some more, at this one party a girl once walked (stumbled) down the stairs to inform me she had just cum on the bed in my guest room. I politely thanked her for the information and decreed she must either clean up after herself, or blow me. Much to my chagrin, she actually cleaned up after herself.
