Sources, pls? Also, you sort of missed the big thing which wasn't illegality, but how hard the laws are enforced. I said there might be less hooking in a place that punishes prostitution more severely, for instance with the death penalty, than there is in a place that punishes it less severely, with fines and community service.

Even if it is true, though, that just speaks to the fact that no one can really come to any conclusions about these sorts of things with either 1) Such a large population size, and 2) no HARD DATA.

My girlfriend was supposed to forward me some cool pictures, but I still don't think she knows what my e-mail is, or spells it wrong.

Anyway, this past Sunday we got up at 4:30am to go take pictures on the beach at 6:30am (sunrise). It was a photoshoot for her in various tiny bikinis, she was there from 6:30am till about 4pm. I was there till 11pm because she wanted me in some of the pictures. (out of like 10,000 I was in like 40 heh) but I only went to go skimming anyway.

So as soon as I get em, I'll post some of them.

Oh and it's funny how many dirty old men are out there at the beach. I was running back to my car to grab something and this old guy was just sitting there staring through the binoculars at my gf doing her photoshoot. When I came back I thought he was gone, but he was about 20 steps down the stairs and it was because my gf went much further down the beach, so he was getting a better view.

Went to the Dale Chihuly exhibition at the Desert Botanical Gardens. Its not even technically "open" yet, but the pieces are so big you can most of them just walking around the grounds. I cannot WAIT to shoot these at night, all backlit.

I made them links because I kept the files REALLY BIG to enjoy how fantastic these pieces are. They're all individual hand-blown glass and are disassembled and reassembled each time they are moved from place to place. For those who don't know him I highly suggest you Google him. His shit is amazing.

I'm glad he's finally using color, heh. I may be biased against Chihuly because my mom is a glass artist but I've always found his stuff to be too bland and boring, didn't make enough personal interpretations. So it's kind of cool to see stuff that's more colorful and what not rather than free form colorless "art" like what he has in Seattle for an exhibit. The desert thing is really neat though because I know my mom was really inspired by the desert and the fact that glass is made of sand, I get more of that feeling from Dale's work with this desert theme too.

This is the worst bruise I've ever had without broken bones being involved. The thing was huge. Bigger than my hand. This was actually from a while after the injury, so it's partially healed. Took a long ass time to fully go away. It was from the last physical fight I was in a few years ago (I've calmed down in my old age) in Key West's biker week. I got thrown out of the club. =\

Heh! I never threw the first punch. However, I did have a big mouth. Huge. Bottomless. Loud. In high school, I weighed less than a hundred pounds and was under five foot but that didn't stop me from picking fights with the football team, noooo. It was like a terrier attacking a pack of mastiffs, ffs.

Don't be too impressed. I've only fought with other girls twice. The rest of the time, males. And I got my ass handed to me again and again and again.
