I blew about half an hour this morning on this. I've never really taken to pastels and it's been years since I used chalk so... sidewalk drawing is a lot harder than I remember it being. This is just a random demon dog thing.

The chalk looks better, but I think because its two tone with a color to it almost shading effect or something. And the paper is easier to see details, which makes it not as easy to look at.

Posing of the critter is kind of odd though. Looks like the rear end is ready to jump, but looks like the front legs are lounging on a wall/log. Forearms on the table kinda thing.

Nostrils and lips are too prominent in the paper drawing.

I remember when I was younger I would draw out in our cul-de-sac with chalk with my neighbors, and we used to have to make like a 10 foot radius around part of the sidewalk that crossed in front of one of our neighbor's houses. He was the "Get off my lawn!" man and would come running out at us yelling at us that we were "making the street look like shit" and "devaluing his house" with our "stupid scribbles". Then when we went inside he'd drag out his garden hose and clean the entire cul-de-sac while we watched from our windows.

Jeff is the greatest piercer ever! But that shit does for srsly looks like it hurt. I tried pinching the skin behind my ankle and I just, I don't know how it was done but it was. I also believe there are lines, and people who cross those lines. I'm all for self-art and ideals, but unfortunately I have to live in a professional world. My boss has 14 tat's, but in the "normal" world, you couldn't tell either of us do. If it's good for you, great, but I think alot of people are in the "normal" world, hence the wtf-ness of it.

Man, I want more dogs. I've got three now and they're like crack. I'm going to be some dog-collecting old lady, 'cept I don't collect just one particular breed or size or kind. No more for another year, though, when the little pit girl (three months old and over 20 pounds, yay!) matures a bit.

I'm always amazed when people get schnauzers. They can be great dogs but they require regular grooming. But then, so do a lot of the purse dogs. That can cost a pretty penny.

Oh, don't get me wrong, it's not like I dislike small dogs. I've got a Jack Russell terrier too. He's a dick, as all terriers are. I just like dogs that can be expected to walk more than be carried. And don't need more than weekly brushing and nail-clipping, if that.

Of course, I am working as a groomer while I'm still in school, so maybe I'm just burnt out on matted dogs and trying to put a breed pattern cut on a struggling, vicious Westie whose owner thinks it's an angel.

I never took my former dog to the groomers in the first place, but it never would have occurred to me to tip them. D'oh.

I tip anyone on commission or waiter/driver wages. Groomers generally work for commission, they get like 40% of the total sale, with no hourly. Not sure about the chains that do it, but the one we use to go to was a private groomer.

There's not a single day that I don't go home without at least a new scratch (not just because of a dog attacking but from general dogginess). You learn to read the signs of a dog's unhappiness pretty fast but a lot of times what the owner wants and what the dog wants are two very different things so things happen even when you work hard to keep 'em calm. When you risk bodily harm every time you try to give a dog a haircut, you like it when someone appreciates that enough to give you something extra. I had a blue Merle Collie. She developed a tumor in her bladder and after a year of trying to help her with meds, we had to put her to sleep.

She would run and play still, but she couldn't control her bladder at all and would walk and pee as she went. She started whining and crying all the time and breathing hard. It was sad.

I took some great pics I need to pick up tomorrow.

She had a litter of "we think" husky mix, so we kept one. I will put Ringo up as well. 90 pounds of love.

Dex, are my tips decent. I always wondered about that. The maltese generally gets more groomings than the cairn, so when we bring just him, we give just $20. But when the cairn comes too, we do $30. And I'm thiking $40 for all three once the new pup requires a haircut.

I try to keep my service people well tipped. Pizza guy always gets $5+ unless it's a bigger order, then i try to give more. I always do 25% anywhere I done. When you've worked the job, you know what its like getting a shit tip. Like $2 tips on a pizza delivery were the biggest kick to the balls!

Yeah, they have the most have beef with "Hauli's" They welcome Samoan's, most asians, and most black islanders with open arms. Mainland asians and blacks are welcomed less, but tolerated. So, its not like its just on Hawaii that people treat each other like shit. It's just noticeable here because its white people that get the shaft.

Once you are older, the whole being white thing isn't a big deal, just as long as you can act, walk, and live like an islander.

Well...It's hard to imagine he is speaking hawaiian hawaiian, its basically dead except for spiritual people doing rituals and such.

But the alphabet is the following:
a, e, i, o, u, h, k, l, m, n, p, and w

Pidgeon is what everyone speaks, and basically makes you sound like an idiot.

"de kine" can literally mean whatever you want.

Example 1
"hand me a hammer"
"which one?"
"de kine"

Example 2
"Went to the store today, couldn't find any de kine, they must be pow*"

*Other gems are "Pow" meaning "ran out, or none left, or game over"

"choke" means "a lot"
"choke grinds" would mean "a lot of food"
