That's exactly what I thought too when I saw his mommy and daddy accompanying him to the police station.

Genius right here.
tl;dr: Antifa dipshit was wearing a mask when he torched a police car but didn't cover his distinctive neck tattoo so police were able to identify him. He now faces federal arson charges.Quote:
A South Side man was hit with federal arson charges Tuesday alleging he set fire to a Chicago police SUV in the Loop while wearing a “Joker” clown mask during the weekend unrest.
Timothy O’Donnell, 31, was seen on video taken by a bystander on Saturday approaching the police vehicle parked in the 200 block of North State Street and placing a lit object into the car’s gas tank, according to an eight-page criminal complaint filed in U.S. District Court.
After the squad car burst into flames, O’Donnell was captured in a photograph provided by a different witness posing in front of the blaze.
Though his face was obscured by the grinning mask, O’Donnell’s distinctive neck tattoo reading “PRETTY” could clearly be seen in the photo, according to the complaint.
That image — as well as several others — were included in the charging document.
Police found the mask in O’Donnell’s bedroom when they searched his apartment in the 700 block of West 19th Street, according to the complaint.
O’Donnell later admitted in an interview with law enforcement that he was the one seen in the mask igniting the blaze, the charges alleged.
An initial appearance for O’Donnell will likely take place at the Dirksen U.S. Courthouse on Wednesday.
O’Donnell was one of five people now charged with committing federal crimes in Chicago amid the chaos and looting that struck the city after the police-involved homicide of George Floyd in Minneapolis.
Tell me again, Democrats, how these riots are about George Floyd and aren't about causing destruction and mayhem during an election year.
So....as I was saying, Trump has been a decent president.
Now let's do the other 40 years Biden has been in politics. We can start with the crime bill that unjustly imprisoned black people or as Hillary called them "alpha predators". I guess in Joe's mind they were too black and he was just trying to weed out the "racial jungle" that his drug addict son may grow up in.
So Seran admits the riots are political in nature. Any other Democrats going to keep commenting without explaining how the riots aren't political?
I'm giving time4fun a pass for once because she's been overall quiet on things in this thread.
Two more Antifa pieces of shit arrested and charged with federal crimes of arson.
These two torched a Minnesota courthouse.
I'm noticing an awfully lot of federal charges lately. Are the states too busy apologizing for being white or something to charge these thugs with crimes?
Who the fuck cares? If someone's sitting on a horse, how about don't throw a fucking brick at them because there's a really good chance you're going to hit the horse instead?

Starting to look more and more that the only politics are the lies being told by Trump and the conservative media to further divide our nation.
U.S. assessment finds opportunists drive protest violence, not extremists
https://www.reuters.com/article/us-m...-idUSKBN23A1KUQuote:
President Donald Trump has blamed leftwing extremist groups for instigating nights of looting and violence in cities across the United States, but an intelligence assessment offers limited evidence that organized extremists are behind the turmoil.
In part of a June 1 internal, intelligence assessment of the protests viewed by Reuters, U.S. Department of Homeland Security (DHS) officials said most of the violence appears to have been driven by opportunists.
Esper breaks with Trump, opposes using military for protests
https://apnews.com/41d80cc063a7199f75fb28cc34713f0cQuote:
Breaking with President Donald Trump, Defense Secretary Mark Esper said Wednesday he opposes using military forces for law enforcement in containing current street protests.
Esper said the Insurrection Act, which would allow Trump to use active-duty military for law enforcement in containing street protests, should be invoked in the United States “only in the most urgent and dire of situations.” He declared, “We are not in one of those situations now.”
Seran, who has already admitted these riots are political in nature, reads "most" of the violence is driven by opportunists and concludes that no violence is being driven by extremists or Antifa. Because as we all know Antifa couldn't possibly be considered "opportunists." In fact I'm pretty sure from the very beginning Trump has said Antifa is using the death of George Floyd as cover to carry out their riots, hence they are being "opportunists."
I don't think Democrats and Antifa could ask for a better useful idiot than Seran.
Surely, you're intelligent enough to actually present logical arguments and not just call names all the time. For all of the trash that you, SHM, PB, and Tgo talk, there's very little logic coming from you guys. Just throwing shade. Be like your president, try to shine the light on stuff... or in stuff. Something like that. Someone being dumb is just your opinion. So call names all you want, but you're not actually accomplishing anything but furthering a divide that needs to be bridged.
The whole point of left and right is to keep it balanced. If anyone side gets their way all the time, it's counter productive. But situations like we're in now should unite us, not bring us further apart. Seriously, be part of the solution and not the problem. Hate has no place in our society any more, and that's all you're spreading. Be better.
I have no clue what another one means. Another person? Another viewpoint? You should really re-read your posts and take off the bias colored glasses for a few minutes. Some of the stuff you say is pretty out there, and is not constructive in any way. Try to find some middle ground. You won't get everything you want. It's called compromise, and we need to find a way to do it or we're going to tear ourselves apart.
A decent President?
Yesterday peaceful protesters were attacked with tear gas, rubber bullets, and flash bombs- on his order- to clear them away from a church so he could have a photo op.
A few days ago, he retweeted a video of someone saying "The only good Democrat is a dead Democrat"
Last week he issued an EO targeting social media platforms because one of them dared to fact check (i.e. criticize in his mind) a tweet that, among other things, heavily implied CA residents they didn't have to register to vote because mail in ballots were being sent to everyone in the state.
In the last two months he's removed 4 Inspectors General (without giving Congress the legally mandated 30 day notice with an explanation demonstrating cause) and replaced them with political appointees who are still serving in the very agencies they're supposed to be performing independent oversight of.
He tried to blackmail a foreign ally- that was desperately in need of military aid to fend off Russia- into interfering with our elections by announcing a fake investigation.
When a global pandemic hit the US, instead of preparing the country for it he went on a campaigning spree telling everyone that it was a Democratic hoax despite having been briefed repeatedly on the reality and severity of the situation.
He also got up and- not once but twice- told Americans to use dangerous methods of curing COVID that won't work. And people did.
Inept doesn't begin to describe the situation. We need a new word for how mindblowingly incompetent and dangerous this man has been. And we all know I could have gone on for pages delving into the multitude of things he's done that range from merely incompetent to downright dangerous.
No, he has not been a "decent" President. And it's okay to admit that.
Another self-righteous concern troll who is going to pretend he's above it all but then shockingly only comes down against one group of posters.
I am biased in my politics. I have no trouble admitting that. Now ask some of these people on the left or the Never Trumpers and see if they'll ever admit to that.
Why would I be constructive towards people like Seran? Have you read some of Seran's shit? He is literally the worst kind of person in the world.
What middle ground do you want me to concede to in this thread? That yes Trump is a bad guy? This is all his fault?
What do you want? Use your words like an adult. Be constructive.
Fake news. You can tell because the officers weren't wearing gas masks. You are being lied to.
They also weren't using rubber bullets, they were using pepper balls.
See what I mean, Blazar? THIS is the type of this I deal with each and every single day in the politics folder. People just flat out lying through their teeth or being so stupid and ignorant that they just believe whatever the media feeds them, no matter how insane it is. And your problem is with me because, what? I don't agree with them?
Your concern trolling/sealioning has been duly noted.
This really can't be overemphasized, but I'm going to try.
5 days ago, the President of the United States of America retweeted a video of someone saying the only good Democrat is a dead Democrat.
Let that sink in for a moment. The supposed leader of the free world just said that if you belong to a different political party, the preference is that you no longer be alive.
And the truly horrifying thing is- we've gotten so used to his chaos and hate that it barely even registers. 4 years ago, that would have registered. And we'd understand that as an attack on fundamental American values.
But today, apparently it just gets him downgraded to a "decent" President.
Alfster is another Democrat/TDS goon who has now admitted that the riots are political in nature.
Any other Democrat gonna keep commenting without explaining how the riots aren't political?
Also what am I lying about? You really think police officers fired off tear gas then moments later rushed into the scene WITHOUT WEARING A GAS MASK? You can't be this retarded.
Seran can be that retarded. time4fun is just so batshit insane she probably thinks police officers would do that.
But not you, Alfster. You can't be this retarded so the only explanation left is you don't care you're being lied to because you hate Trump that much.
You realize I literally linked to documentation on this, right?
And did you seriously just justify this? "I meant it in a political sense"- makes it absolutely okay for a President to reshare that?
Your own President retweeted something suggesting that people in a political party he doesn't like should be dead. Are you really so broken as a human being that you don't recognize that as dangerous?
For all of the bluster I have heard over the years from the conservatives on this board about fighting to keep Communism and Socialism out of America, it is absolutely astounding to watch those same people usher in the worst parts of Communism.
"The only good Democrat is a dead Democrat"- that's single party rule. You'll find that in China and Russia.
Teargassing peaceful protesters- that's what you can get away with in countries with authoritarians who aren't beholden to things like Freedom of Speech.
Leveraging the power of the Presidency to retaliate against organizations who criticize him? Yeah, guess where else you find that?
Doing mass purges of career employees who haven't demonstrated proper "loyalty" to the President? Guess where else that happens?
Firing oversight watchdogs and replacing them with political appointees who are helping to run the agencies they're supposed to be performing oversight for?
Inviting foreign interference into our elections? Leveraging the power of the office to attack political rivals who dare to run against him?
So watchdogs of Democracy- if you're okay with all of this, what exactly was it about Communism you were trying to protect us from?
Please snap out of this before it's too late. On some level you must understand that this is not the direction we should be moving in.
Listen to the video yourself instead of reading about it from Washington Post.
https://twitter.com/RideWithC4T/stat...906091008?s=20
He says he didn't mean it in a physical sense and isn't advocating for murders, but he meant it in a political sense. So yes, it's fine. Settle down.
He's saying their careers are dead. This is just more leftwing nonsense trying to control speech.
Oh by the way, you going to admit you were lied to about police using tear gas while not wearing gas masks? Or gonna keep repeating that lie as well?
No one is saying single party rule. We are just saying the Democrat party is worthless and dangerous.
Well that answers my previous question. I guess you are going to keep repeating that lie.
Also even if the police used tear gas you really think Trump told them to? You know that's not how the police structure works in this country right?
George Floyd and the police officer worked together at a nightclub in 2009.
Any chance this wasn't a hate crime and there is more to the story?
I have seen zero evidence this was a hate crime at all. People are just assuming it was racial because like I said this has turned into a political shitstorm.
It's possible the officer had some sort of beef with the guy in particular, or he could just be a shitty cop. I doubt we will ever know because no one seems interested in investigating this further, probably because they are worried if they do people will think they are looking for excuses for the cop or something.
Possibly. Though it is difficult to imagine that officer doing that to a white man.
And ultimately that's what this is about. It's not about whether or not that particular police officer was intentionally trying to attack someone because they were black. It's about a system that provides so much cover and impunity that the police officers involved in the situation clearly didn't think they had anything to fear. They could kill an unarmed black man in public, surrounded by witnesses, and there was nothing to worry about.
The privilege that comes with not being black in this situation, is that it allows people- if they so choose- to treat Floyd's murder as an isolated, independent incident.
The reality of being black in this country is that you know better. It's the latest in a lifetime of reminders that your life has less value, institutionally speaking, than those of your fellow Americans who happen to have a different skin color. That plays out with the police, it plays out with the Death Penalty, and it's playing out with COVID. (to name 3 of about a million examples).
Ah shit, here we go again.
Man, this moves too fast to respond to everything. I'm tired already.
To the post you made about Seran being the worst kind of person, I really think you need to get your perspective checked out. Personally, the worst type of person in the world in my opinion would be murders and rapists, and we've got tons of laws protecting their rights. Someone who believes differently than you or is biased, left or right? Not so much. Debate that if you want, but I will continue to disagree with you. I don't think I'm above anything, but I do actively try to look at things from other points of view, if for no other reason than to better understand the person's motivation. I understand we're all people, with our own struggles and experiences, and I also understand that if we took away the hate, replaced it with an effort to work together and find mutually beneficial solutions, the world would be a better place. If you disagree with that, I'd really like to understand how. Human nature runs completely counter to this, so it would take conscious effort to succeed from everyone. will we ever succeed? Who knows, but I sure hope so.
And while I called you guys out, you're also the ones that constantly flame people, and even in the past have hidden behind neg rep, ugly comments for personal view points. If I saw that from anyone, I'd call them out too. There are others who have spoken kindly of Trump here that don't get that kind of attention, so perhaps that should be an opportunity for you to reflect on why that is? perhaps it is in the delivery instead of the content? Just as I acknowledged I made a mistake in sending terrible neg rep messages, so too can you admit your mistakes. And so can Trump. Would you agree that Trump has made mistakes? A good person admits when they make a mistake, and then take steps to be accountable and make changes for it. Has Trump ever done that? if you say yes, I really do hope you provide some proof. A tweet even would be cool. I'd like to read it.
Saying you deal with this stuff is a little skewed as well. You choose to post here. Just as I will choose not to continue posting if my self control is strong enough (sure do wish I could just see new posts for Merchant's Market only, would make this a lot easier). I have better things to do with my time than post on these boards and debate with people who aren't open to compromise and finding a common ground, but willful ignorance just hurts me, so I felt inclined to speak up. I'm not insane, so I won't continue trying to help you understand that you're not perfect, and that it would be more constructive if you responded differently. It's almost as if you don't realize you're doing the exact same thing that you're accusing others of... providing biased view points that support your ideology contrary to the facts, and then attacking people that have different view points. Believing that your view point is the only one that matters. Everyone matters. Dem. Rep. Everyone. That's not for you to decide and it's not in your power. There's value in both sides, both sides have good and bad people, and the focus should be in bringing them together, not driving them farther away.
It's called listening and learning. It's not pretending- it's taking the message that was communicated to you and helping to amplify it. It's on the "literally the least you can do" ally list. Silencing that instead of engaging with it doesn't help black people in this country.
And growing up in a biracial family with siblings whose skin is much darker than mine and watching them navigate the world around them and seeing how differently it treated me vs them....let's just say that, while I will never understand what it means to be black in America or even what it means to be my siblings and other family members on that side, the issue of institutionalized racism in this country is neither novel nor hypothetical for me.
You must have the biggest blinders on in the world if you think only the people you called out resort to personal attacks. Get off it, dude. You're biased and just like the Democrats and Never Trumpers here you won't admit to it.
Ah yes, here we come to the "I'm better than you all" portion of this shtick.
https://twitter.com/OsigahK/status/1...932124160?s=20
Honestly this video is like the perfect visualization of time4fun.
"I know what it's like to be black! Really I do! Look how that officer just treated me!"
I don't know how many times I can say this, I might as well just make it my sig now.
Yes my politics are biased. I am perfectly comfortable admitting this. Does this mean I'm going to automatically take the conservative's side and denounce the Democrat's side in each and every single instance? No. But I have a set of beliefs and principals and yes they are going to sway my decision when it comes to politics.
I think its more of a problem with police in general, they have way to much power and not enough oversight. They can end lives with a word. I don't care if someone is yelling the most vile shit in their face, they need to take it and act professional. If a cashier at Target or wherever else can, they better be able to. They've gone to long without enough accountability.
The big problem is police unions that give officers like 20 second chances before they can maybe, possibly be assigned to desk duty for 2 weeks.
But Democrats can't go after unions because that's a major source of their support so they play lip service to both unions and the people who want more police accountability so they can continue staying in power.
At least you're admitting to pretending to understand the life of a black person in America. Our biggest enemy is what's happening right now. The "leaders" of America's black community are thugs, crooks, and charlatans. There is no handicap for blacks if you do not allow it. The retired black St. Louis police captain who died last night protecting his friend's store from looters understood that. Glorifying an isolated incident (Yes it wasn't the first) to spawn any racist rhetoric is bullshit.
At the end of the day, this is a distraction and our rights are once again being diminished.
There is a vast majority of blacks who want no part of this on either side of the fence.
I agree that's a core issue here. Ultimately it's the alchemy of that with institutional racism that have created the kind of horror show we're seeing. The point is that the lack of oversight and accountability is a problem for everyone, but it disproportionately affects black (particularly male) Americans.
How many times have we heard "Well I thought he had a gun!" as a justification for shooting an unarmed black man?
How many times in the last few months have we watched the police keep a respectful distance as crowds of white men armed with semi-automatic weapons, screaming aggressively at- and even threatening- those same police officers and elected officials?
That's more than just the sum of the "lack of oversight and accountability" parts.
You keep going back to this. Maybe it's not best to use an instance where no one was killed or injured, no shots were fired, and no property was damaged as a good example to show how the police supposedly treat white men with kid gloves.
You really do come off as tone deaf repeating this shit as cities burn.
It sure is interesting watching time4fun, an admitted rich, privileged half white (and apparently light skinned) woman telling a black man he is racist because he doesn't agree with her views on how blacks are treated in this country.
This has to be some sort of milestone for the PC.
3 more cops charged in George Floyd death, other officer’s murder charge upgraded, Sen. Klobuchar says
Well there ya go. The Antifa-member-turned-state-AG is going to charge the other cops with crimes too. Also the cop who killed Floyd will be charged with second degree murder. So now the state DA thinks he wanted to kill Floyd.
Surely this will end the rioting because they are totally about George Floyd still and aren't political at all right?
Also why is Klobuchar announcing this news? Sure sounds like she's in the top running for Biden's VP pick so she has to be the one to announce this news to soften the blow to the black community that Biden isn't choosing a black woman. I will laugh my ass off if Klobuchar gets the pick after this mess.
True- I'm not particularly inclined to invalidate everything else I've been told by countless others- directly or indirectly- in my life because one lone person on a forum decided to blame black people for racism. I make no apologies for this but accept it as valid criticism.
What happened to Churchill afterwards? As you may remember, the Allies won the war. But England's economy was very bad following the war. They voted him out because of the economy. Winston Churchill! They voted him out even though he was most highly beloved, admired, idolized, venerated, etc. If that was Churchill's fate, what hope does Trump have?
Incumbents usually win. They lose when the economy is bad. Trump's only hope will be to convince voters that the direction of the economy is improving and that the direction of the economy is more important than its current position.
I realized a long time ago that trying to have a "normal" conversation that involves any sort of logic or reason with megatards like Soyran, time4fun, Back, past idiots like cwolff, etc. is a colossal waste of fucking time, so now they're just entertainment to help me pass the time at work. I've made no secret of this.
It's literally the only thing they're useful for.
His increasing willingness to mix politics with the military and to deploy it against Americans on US soil is a massive red flag.
He's retweeting people who are- in not-so-subtle ways- calling for the death of US citizens who aren't a part of his own political party and threatening violence himself against protesters in stark language.
He's retaliating against private entities for daring to criticize him (And specifically just call out his inaccuracies)
He's spreading misinformation about our elections and trying to convince people that there's massive fraud afoot
He's ordering attacks on peaceful protesters who are exercising their Constitutional right to free speech and assembly
I don't know what everyone is waiting for here, but can we just *not* wait for it to get worse? This is a first for our country. Do we really want this to be the first of many? And this is him having to worry about re-election. What do you think this all looks like with 4 more years and no accountability to voters?
Put the forum flame wars away for a moment. Take off the partisan hats. Put aside the years of built up resentments from endless political debates. Just be Americans right now.
Is this what you want America to look like?
Yeah because no president has ever deployed the military inside of the US before.
Oh wait, Kennedy did it twice, LBJ 4 times, and it was used as recently as 1992 by Bush.
But don't let facts get in the way of your moral indignation! Tell me again how these riots and the way the Democrats and the media are responding to them and Trump's actions aren't at all political!
How is that racist if he's only referring to specific people and not an entire race?
This is reason #57843202 why you're a fucking idiot and an unintentional parody of the every leftist stereotype in existence.
Fun fact: Your post actually makes you the racist. You'll just never have enough (or any) self awareness to realize it.
That's not going to happen. This group of Dreaven accounts and others has way too much fun trolling you while scripts play the game this forum was created to compliment. Keep doing what you're doing pointing out their hypocrisy, posting new information and by all means ignore their personal attacks. The latter is the best way to walk around trolls and internet alarmists
This really can't be overemphasized, but I'm going to try.
For the past 3 1/2 years the Democrat party and the previous administration has conspired to conduct an illegal spy operation against an opposition political party. They then refused to share intelligence data with the duly elected successor and his appointed and approved employees, concealed their criminal actions and illegally leaked classified information and fake data to their co-conspirators in the media in order to subvert or topple the administration.
The previous administration funded and armed terrorists and criminals.
The previous administration refused to enforce our immigration laws that have caused wage stagnation, unemployment and economic destruction.
The previous administration made illegal, back room deals with terrorist governments that funded untold misery and suffering in Syria and elsewhere.
The previous administration toppled a government and destroyed the ability to govern in Libya which has allowed a flood of criminal alien’s flood into Europe as well as the formation of active African slave markets.
The previous administration gave tacit approval for the killing of cops, incited violence and refused to quell riots, arson, looting and murder all in the name of "diversity", "Inclusion" and "Black Lives Matter."
Let that sink in, take all the time you need.
The truly horrifying thing is that the morons such as yourself seem to think this is ok because he said some mean things so “Orange Man Bad.” You seem to think that it’s ok for a coordinated, organized and wide spread attack of riots, looters, arsonists and murders to run rampant in our nation and attack the very foundations of American society. And you mutton heads defend this as “peaceful protesters” and then cry when those rioters get too close to your own precious neighborhoods.
But somehow this sterling piece of racist shit from the previous administration is lauded as a hero.
So, maybe you should consider what is really horrifying and maybe fuck off.
Shut up, alt account of time4fun.
See how easy that was? Go shave your armpits.
https://media.tenor.com/images/e96be...5682/tenor.gif
I wish I could just bitch slap Acosta a dozen times.
Acosta to press secretary: Why did Trump use tear gas?!?!?!??!
Press secretary: Tear gas was not used.
Acosta: A chemical agent was used!!!!
Press secretary: Again, no tear gas was used.
Acosta: Why are you making that distinction!
Uh....YOU made that distinction.
Wow, there's almost too much hyperbole to try and tackle here. But let's try shall we.
So, where's all the proof of these leaks and illegal spying? I've seen a hell of a lot of clamoring about this on behalf of Republicans in Congress and Bad Orange Man, but where are the irrefutable congressional findings of these actions? Where are the criminal conspiracy and divulgence of classified materials indictments that would logically follow evidence of such ill deeds. That I've seen there's been three in total charged with disclosure to reporters or leaking information surrounding the Mueller investigation. Nowhere near the magnitude prosecuted or charged to Chelsea Manning and Julian Assange.Quote:

This is a great one. The last minimum wage hike was only narrowly passed in 2009 by Democrats following a vicious fight with Senate Republicans who hailed the plan as the end of middle America and the Republic as we know it. In 2014 another Democrat proposal championed by Obama to increase the minimum wage to $10 was destroyed by Republicans again. In 2018 the Raise the Wage Act was brought by Bernie Sanders and Democrats in the House, but died due to Republican opposition.Quote:
The previous administration refused to enforce our immigration laws that have caused wage stagnation, unemployment and economic destruction.
The Middle Class is dead because the Republican half of the country cares nothing at all about paying the lowest wage earners a living wage and to help them save enough to invest or buy homes which would jump start the creation of generational wealth. Meanwhile, the only meaningful tax reform passed was aimed at reducing corporate and wealthy taxpayer obligations and reduced the ability of homeowners to deduct expenses and taxes they pay in their home state.
I presume you're referring to the nuclear agreement with Iran. So, we have the last four president's whom have known Iran was enriching uranium or seeking arms. Of those Presidents, sanctions were the only substantive action before Obama engaged the Iranian Government in an attempt to use a multi nation agreement to halt their nuclear production in exchange for a reduction in sanctions. It happened and Trump unilaterally pulled us out of it without any substantive action on his part to curtail Iranian shipments to North Korea.Quote:
The previous administration made illegal, back room deals with terrorist governments that funded untold misery and suffering in Syria and elsewhere.
Speaking of Rocket Man. Let's talk about Orange Man's love affair. Trump's failing to accomplish exactly what he derided Obama for succeeding with Iran is the perfect example of undermining our credibility in the world as an arbiter of peace.
Wrong.Quote:
The previous administration toppled a government and destroyed the ability to govern in Libya which has allowed a flood of criminal alien’s flood into Europe as well as the formation of active African slave markets.
This is the exact opposite of what the Obama administration accomplished through his attorneys generals Eric Holder and Loretta Lynch. That you're trying to rewrite history to apply the current administrations handling of our current mass protests and riots is laughable at best.Quote:
The previous administration gave tacit approval for the killing of cops, incited violence and refused to quell riots, arson, looting and murder all in the name of "diversity", "Inclusion" and "Black Lives Matter."
And if you use the actions of others to justify yours, as opposed to principlex and morals, you are submitting to them and admitting that they have the power to change you. Again, get past the partisanship, get past the name calling, and realize that these are people too, and whether you agree with them or not, their opinion is just as valid as yours on the scale of opinions. Just as Trump's opinions are just as valid as mine, yours, Obama's, or anyone else's. That doesn't mean you have to agree with it. But it does mean you should appreciate it, and try to understand it. You can fight lies and bias with truth and facts, without calling people names. If calling people names makes you feel better, then I guess go for it, but I'd suggest therapy or something instead because it's a destructive behavior. I won't lose any sleep over the names you call me, I promise, but it does seriously reduce any credibility you build up as being a mature person. Again, we all make mistakes. I'm pretty sure you're one of the people I sent that shitty rep too and I truly regret it, even though I'm sure you don't really care. This is because I recognized that actions like that aren't going to get us anywhere, and certainly won't help communication.
I may not agree with some or most of your points, but I read them, I consider them, and I try to look at them from a different point of view. Sometimes, I learn something and it causes me to rethink my position on something, and evolve my perspective. It's not bad to admit that if you're not so far entrenched in your beliefs that they can't be changed even if a logical argument and evidence is presented. It's how we grow and become better people. But using the actions of others to justify yours won't get you anywhere but wondering who you are at some point, and disappointed in the results. Be your own person, and do what you do for the right reasons, not because someone else "made you do it and you just can't help yourself". Again, if you think you're perfect, or couldn't possibly do something better, I'd like to know your secrets. Otherwise, recognize that there's room for improvement, and actually attempt to better yourself from it.
No tear gas, no rubber bullets.
Yesterday he tweeted a video that was taken out of context.
He's right, Twitter refuses to fact check Nancy Pelosi, who lies daily.
He didn't blackmail anyone. Bidens son getting a cushy job after being released from the military for cocaine use, stinks of complete bullshit. A black man would have been sent to prison.
Democrats called the president a racist and then told everyone to go to China town and use the subways.
He didn't tell Americans to do anything.

Gladly. It's only one sided because you aren't contributing anything useful. Sorry you feel that way and I wish you the best of luck in your mission of spreading hate and partisanship. Again, not above all of this, or I wouldn't be bothering with contributing at all.
No clue what that is supposed to mean, but I'm guessing it made you feel better. If you ever want to actually have rational, logical discussions where you leave the hatred where it belongs, I'd like that. I'm sure you're more intelligent than most of your posts make you seem.
You're sealioning, if I didn't know any better I would say you're Back.
Let me just make one thing perfectly clear to you: I'm not going to cave in to your left wing speech demands of so called civility.
If you want to have a "rational, logical discussion" then present one because so far I haven't seen it. So far you're acting exactly like every other far left poster on this forum where you excuse bad behavior by Democrats but admonish each and every single benign thing a Republican does.
Present a "rational, logical discussion" and I'll respond to it. I may use words you find offensive but you'll just have to suck it the fuck up.

Check out time4fun here telling a black woman she is oppressed and she should be ashamed for not recognizing it.
Who cares what people said? Some dipshit reporter said he got PTSD because he pulled the trigger of an AR-15 once.
Again watch the video, the police aren't wearing gas masks. You really think the police fired tear gas then rushed into the area moments later without gas masks then a few minutes after that the president walked through the area?
The same protesters that tried to torch a church?
If there's one thing I have learned over the years about leftist activists, 90% of what they say is bullshit.
I remember when this shit all started with occupy wall street. When they weren't busy breaking into vacant store fronts they were hanging out at the QT panhandling. I'm not even going into the 10's of thousands of dollars worth of damages they did to the city park that Democrat leaders let them camp in. A park that is illegal to camp in, btw.
The kind of bullshit I'm talking about:
Time4fun: Men can breastfeed.
Just because smoke makes you cough and possibly your eyes burn, does not make it tear gas. Much like seasonal allergies does not mean I have COVID-19. Tear gas is awful. Having been told (and watched to my laughter) friends going through Academy getting pepper sprayed, there's no way in hell they're going to throw a canister of that out and then run into it with no sort of protection from it. It was smoke. It's been said by the police there and those reporting on it that no, tear gas was not used. Smoke, and pepper bullets.
A chemical agent in gaseous form was used on protesters prior to Trump's church photo op. This gas, which cause sufferers eyes to water (tear) up was used at the request of William Barr. But since no actual agent branded "tear gas" was used on protestors, let's all get hung up on the type of lachrymator agent used in order to distract from the fact is fucking happened at all.

I'd say this literally proves you know absolutely nothing about economics.. but then you would just come back and say you have a PhD in Economics.. or taught a class in Economics.. or saved someone from a burning building as you were going to an Economics 101 class... so, nevermind...
You sound like Jim Acosta now.
"Tear gas was used!!!"
"No, it wasn't."
"Well some sort of chemical agent was used!!!"
"Yes, but it wasn't tear gas."
"What difference does it make?!?!??!"
It makes a huge fucking difference. "Chemical" agent can mean anything from smoke canisters to sarin gas. Guess what? They used smoke.
If you actually read the link in the post you quoted, it pretty clearly states that it wasn't smoke. They shot OC cannnisters, picked up from the street after being used. Willful ignorance. The information is right there, and you can't really dispute it. No comment from the police department on how many they shot at the crowd, yet if they didn't shoot OC cannisters that would be an easy answer.
PB... I'm not upset at all. I'm saddened that people can really be so willfully ignorant about things. I'll just keep hoping that people will one day realize that compromise and understanding will get us a whole lot farther than hostility, hatred, and willful ignorance. You're not a stupid person, I can admit that, but you definitely have a lot of work to do in the personal growth area. Hopefully, you'll get there some day.
Because someone posts a pic of a canister we are just assuming they are telling the truth that they picked it up off the street?
Just so we're clear we are suggesting police fired tear gas then shortly afterward rushed into the area sans gas masks, then a few minutes later all of the tear gas had dispersed and Trump walked through the area?
Yeah okay.
Are we also just saying the police are flat out liars and no one was throwing frozen water bottles or glass bottles at them?
Of course we're saying that because like I've been saying this is all political now.
"Pigs bad! Innocent protesters good!"
Time4fun in several posts exposed how extremely racist it is. Like, more than even that white dude who thought he was a skinhead or nazi sympathizer or white supremist was from WAY back in the day. Goddamn I can't remember his name. He always posted pictures of himself in a wifebeater.
Anyway, T4F not only called a poster racist after he simply said the rioting was offensive, it then said based on his WRITINGS it could discern he was black. Liberal virtue signaling racists are the WORST type of racist. Nice job T4F for winning.
I didn't say cops were bad. There are definitely some bad cops, but I have friends that are cops and have plenty of respect for some law enforcement, but also understand that the human element creates a lot of diversity within every group. They are being put into a very dangerous situation, so I can also understand their desire to protect themselves. Just like there are some bad protesters, taking advantage of a bad situation for their own personal gain. I don't condone that either, nor do I condone violence for any reason. Rioting isn't going to solve anything. Peaceful protest might get us there, but ultimately we need to speak with our votes and get officials in office that will do the right thing. I definitely don't agree with the rioting or the looting, all they are doing is hurting themselves, shutting down their own grocery stores and causing damage to their own friends and family. And you really shouldn't discount the entire protest because some opportunistic people are taking advantage of the situation.
And yeah, in an outdoor environment, gasses do dissipate pretty quickly if there's even a slight breeze. So firing a canister, especially if the breeze is carrying the gas away from you, and then running in a few minutes later in full riot gear probably wouldn't result in issues for the police force. Also consider that perhaps they shot tear gas in one direction, and rushed another, or shot it in the back of the crowd? I wasn't there so I don't know for sure, but I can definitely see that there are possibilities here for it to have happened. I also wouldn't think that a reporter would plant canisters and make that up, but I also don't wear a tin foil hat and think that everyone has some agenda to fulfill either. And if it turns out to be the case, I'm sure the truth will come out soon enough and we'll know, and I'll gladly learn my lesson. Some people might actually be just trying to do their jobs and have integrity. If you believe that everyone with any type of liberal views have no integrity and will lie and make things up to further their own agenda at any time, I really have to question where you get that idea from. I'd really hate to see the world that way, seems miserable. There's a better way, I promise.
Okay so you are suggesting cops deployed tear gas without wearing gas masks.
Why not? Reporters have been flat out lying for years now. Just look at this stupid story we're talking about right here. Story after story after story for 24 hours all proclaiming "Police use tear gas and rubber bullets on peaceful protesters!" Then they finally bothered to get around to asking the police THE NEXT DAY what they used and the police say no tear gas or rubber bullets.
Even if you were right (and you're not)- it doesn't change anything.
A sitting US President ordered an attack on American citizens who were exercising their Constitutional right to protest- peacefully. We can even pretend no gas of any kind was used- that still leaves flash bombs and rubber bullets.
Please tell me you understand that this is as un-American as it gets. Is this how you want things to be from now on?
Do you want Presidents retweeting things like "The only good Republican is a dead Republican"? Do you want that to be normal?
Do you want Presidents to start deploying the military against US citizens on US soil as a first resort to deal with protesting? Should that be what our country looks like? Military vehicles routinely deployed on the streets of our cities?
Do you want to see Presidents writing Executive Orders retaliating against anyone who dares to criticize them, while telling us all it's about protecting free speech? Is that what our Democracy should look like?
Do you want it to be normal for Democratic Presidents to threaten violence against 2nd Amendment protesters? Is that what being an American should mean?
Stop and think about what you are waving into our democracy and what you're selling out.
I'll take the word of the police who said, yeah we didn't use tear gas. They weren't wearing masks themselves. Why would they gas themselves? Also, get the fuck out of the way when you're asked to back the fuck up. Protest away, just clear space. That's not that hard to do.
Yeah not gonna lie, I don't give a fuck. The national guard was deployed when the "peaceful rioting and looting" began. Because shit was overwhelming the local police. No one cares about protestors, they're not doing damage. You care when cities are being destroyed. Use your fucking left wing brain and realize where the force is being applied, and it's not on the people just with signs.
Not all protestors are bad.
Not all black people are criminals.
Not all white people are racist.
All looters are bad.
Do you think hypothetical chicken little scenarios are effective forms of debate?
https://blog.hubspot.com/marketing/c...ical-fallacies
There are 15 listed in the logical fallacies link above, I think you hit some form of all of them.
The use of hypothetical is only a fallacy when you are speculating on what might have happened in the past or are taking a future hypothetical to be absolutely true.
You may notice that I employed neither of those tactics.
You, on the other hand, just employed a classic Straw Man fallacy- which is deeply ironic.
Careful, time4fun once taught a logic course.
I'm just waiting for time4fun or Seran to say the DC police are war criminals because even militaries don't use tear gas against one another.
The DA of St. Louis has released each and every single looter and rioter that was arrested without bringing charges against a single one of them.
Nothing political going on here!

19 year old teen's emotional video telling people how a protester killed her sister.
Italia Marie Kelly was ironically attending a protest against police brutality and when the protest turned violent she decided to leave, she was then gunned down by a protester as she got into her car to leave.
But she's a black woman who wasn't killed by a white police officer so you don't give a shit do ya, Seran?
Naww of course not! You're too busy whining because maybe some "peaceful protesters" were tear gassed.
Fuck you, Seran. Fuck you all to hell.

Her name was Italia Marie Kelly and her life mattered, even if people such as Seran believe her life didn't matter.

And while I called you guys out, you're also the ones that constantly flame people, and even in the past have hidden behind neg rep, ugly comments for personal view points.
Did you want to share the neg rep comment you gave me out of the blue a couple days ago?
You are literally nothing more than a mouth breathing, hypocritical douchebag. You want to take the high road, but we both know you can't afford the tolls.
Sealion somewhere else, dipshit
Except when I first posted again, I stated that I sent shitty messages to several of you. You're welcome to share it, and I acknowledge it was ugly and hateful and wrong, and while I don't remember the specifics it was something about you sucking and taking Trump's micro penis. I reflected on it, and realized I was taking some personal shit out on you guys and after reading several posts I got pretty charged up. I don't agree with a lot of your views on things, but name calling isn't going to get us anywhere. So, PB, I am sorry that I sent you a hateful neg rep. It was wrong, and my apology is sincere.
This Sealioning is a new term for me today so I looked it up, but I don't think I am trolling or harassing you or anyone else with repeated requests for evidence or repeated questions which is seemingly the definition of it. I have asked, in some instances, for evidence to support claims, though mostly to Tgo. I asked once, and when he conveniently skipped over it, I didn't ask again. I just accepted that he didn't have any, because if he did I'm fairly certain he would have been quick to post it. Sure, I ask questions, some of them even leading, but not repetitively. So if in your opinion I am Sealioning, so be it. You are entitled to your opinion, but I 100% disagree with you on that one.

Rioters once again throwing bricks and metal pipes at horses.
Don't worry though, Solkern, I'm sure they were aiming for the officers.
Hah, trying to entrap me into sealioning now are we? Well played, but not well enough! And sorry, I forget that in the days of Twitter we should keep stuff to under 500 characters. I'd contend that that is completely in conflict with having a well thought out discourse on things though. If you don't care to read what I write, it's not hurting my feelings one little bit.
I don't think that word means what you think it means.
Quote:
Sealioning is the name given to a specific, pervasive form of aggressive cluelessness, that masquerades as a sincere desire to understand.
A Sealion is a person who, when confronted with a fact that they don't care to acknowledge, say, the persistence of systemic racism in America, will ask endlessly for "proof" and insist that it is the other person's job to stop everything they are doing and address the issue to their satisfaction.
Quote:
Sealioning is a type of trolling or harassment which consists of pursuing people with persistent requests for evidence or repeated questions, while maintaining a pretense of civility and sincerity. It may take the form of "incessant, bad-faith invitations to engage in debate".
The quote you provided contains no questions, and I don't pretend to be clueless. Try again. I could go with the quote you provided being passive aggressive at best if you really want to label it. It's not hard to reflect and be honest with yourself.Quote:
A subtle form of trolling involving "bad-faith" questions. You disingenuously frame your conversation as a sincere request to be enlightened, placing the burden of educating you entirely on the other party. If your bait is successful, the other party may engage, painstakingly laying out their logic and evidence in the false hope of helping someone learn. In fact you are attempting to harass or waste the time of the other party, and have no intention of truly entertaining their point of view. Instead, you react to each piece of information by misinterpreting it or requesting further clarification, ad nauseum. The name "sea-lioning" comes from a Wondermark comic strip.
Don't care that you sent me anything to be honest. I just find it amusing that people like you pretend to be something you are not and chastise those who hurt your feelings as if you are above the fray.
You're not. Stop pretending you are.
So, in summary.. "I don't sealion, but when I do sealion I don't want you to call me out on it!"Quote:

Jesus.. wait your turn. Right now time4dum has her title match for the retard belt against Seran. You can take the winner.
None of you have hurt my feelings for the record. You have no effect on my personal feelings or well being, and I am definitely not trying to pretend to be anything I'm not. I know who I am and where I want to go, and what you say or do has no bearing on that. I made a mistake by lowering my own standards and I owned up to it, and now I'm doing what I can to do better and maintain civility, no matter how difficult it may be at times.
You're welcome to call me out on whatever you like, and not once did I ask you not to. Just because you say something though, doesn't make it true. I maintain that none of my posts in the last couple of days would amount to sealioning, and your response certainly didn't do anything to change my mind.
While this was a fun distraction for a couple of days, you folks have fun tearing each other apart, I'm going to bow out and choose to focus my energies on something more productive. And this goes to all of you who can't keep it civil, on both "sides": If you ever want even the slightest chance of reaching the people you're talking to, you can't continue to call them names and alienate them. You're only going to drive things farther apart, and while you're side is "winning" that distance is great, but nothing stays the same forever and you may not like where things end up in the long run. You'll have much better results if you really do try to maintain some common courtesy and respect. Neither far left or far right will get us where we need to be. There is value in some of the opinions on both sides of the fence, and we should work on combining the best of them. Spend this time and effort trying to find solutions instead of just complaining about what the other side is doing.

A man has been arrested and charged with federal crimes of making interstate threats after he attended a BLM riot with a semi automatic rifle and said he was there to kill “MAGA people.”
Tell me again these protests aren’t political and it’s not a bunch a left wing nut cases causing the problems.
In other news LA is cutting 10% from the police department’s budget, because the first thing you should do when your city is burning to the ground from out of control rioters is to cut the police budget.
I'm not about taking sides, but people keep bringing up the economy and how much Trump did to make it grow, so I feel the need to add some feedback there.
I work in the financial sector and all of the rate reductions he was pushing for to keep the economy stimulated are now having the negative impact that many predicted. Super low rates during a spending crisis like we are seeing with the Covid-19 fallout has two major impacts on banks. First, spending is way down, and with that comes a massive reduction in fee revenue, one of the main things that keep banks afloat. Second, due to the financial uncertainly that many families are facing we are seeing unprecedented amounts of people refinancing loans. What this means for banks is a huge loss in projected income, as they receive payoffs for loans that might have been on the books for another 10 years at 4%. So budgeting and projections are all askew. Many institutions are facing the problem of not being able to pay dividends to account holders because they are suddenly operating in the red, and it takes Fed approval to pay dividends when you are in the negative.
The point of this is, artificially stimulating the economy by reducing rates was something that everyone said was a bad thing. Trump ignored this and continued to harass the Fed and try to impose his will on them. His inexperience with the reality behind how the financial sector truly works and his unwillingness to listen to people has put us in a really bad spot. Stocks may be up, but the sector backing consumer lending is seeing the warning signs of seriously bad times on the very near horizon.
So while on the surface the economy still seems like its not in hot water, there are a lot of things brewing that people are not aware of that spell danger.
I do not think that this was ever Trump's intention. But unintended consequences can be real. And at this point there does not appear to be a fix for what we are headed towards.

Nothing political about either of these events!
My wife is a healthcare worker and didn't do any of that. Nor did any of her co-workers. You are generalizing things (so am I with anecdotal evidence). You should just say stupid people, and then you are correct all the time.
I edited my post.
Also let's not forget that open letter signed by dozens of doctors and epidemiologists saying these protests should continue because racism and white supremacy leads to more deaths from the Wuhan virus or whatever that dumb letter said.
Listen to this Karen complain about a bunch of white women cleaning graffiti off a federal building.

Yup, nothing political going on with these riots.
This is neither entirely fair nor accurate. The Fed fund rate rose steadily throughout Trump's tenure, rising .25 a consecutive 8 times for a cumulative rate increase of 2.0% from December 2017 with the final increase on December 20, 2018. Rate decreases then began on August 1 2019 with a series of three .25 drops through October, intended to combat stagnating inflation and spur growth, both of which were dramatically realized. These decisions are not made by the President, and rightly so.
Rates were not cut again until March 2020 when the scope of the pandemic was glaringly unmasked. To suggest that this response was ill-advised is to look back without perspective. Like it or not, how the Fed handled this crisis will likely go down in future textbooks as the go-to model.

Know who else is using the actions of others to justify theirs? The rioters.

Have you all heard about Biden's plan to stop police brutality?
Cops should be trained to shoot people in the leg instead of the chest when they charge at them.
Trump might as well just pack it up and drop out already, Biden has solved police brutality AND racism.
Hah, the free gas was my first thought. That's enough to get through a summer of mowing! Still scary stuff. They've only caught a small number if these guys, which is really unfortunate. We need to learn as much as possible about who they are and how they're organized.
Also tinted windows is one thing, spray painted black side windows is another. I have little doubt the truck was either stolen or will be claimed to have been stolen. The FBI is actively soliciting leads to chase down traveling instigators. Hopefully they have some success.
I wanna see them start using the strongest stink bombs on the planet, just to see how people react.
I bet at least some will be like...

If you yell loud enough and wave your arms in virtue, the entire world will forget that you obtained your wealth by oppressing 90% of the population for 100's of years.
They may even forget that you funded the confederacy.
Yeah I hope all those cell phone videos of people rioting help to identify as many as possible. All the rioters need to be at the very least fined and IMO best case jailed for federal crimes. I'm very fine with people protesting peacefully; when you destroy people's lives, livelihood and property is where I want them to be prosecuted to the fullest extent of the law. Nothing good comes from riots.
And kidding aside, I'd be bothered by free gas myself. But I also am heavily armed and proficiently trained in the use of those firearms, so I feel pretty good about defending my shit. What scares me is if I'm not at home when it happens.
I pretty much agree on most of what you're saying here. It's scary when people drive into town without plates and start stashing gasoline around neighborhoods. No amount of guns are going to stop my house from burning if someone really wants it to burn, and they'd probably be long gone before I realized there was a fire. So it's all scary shit.
On a personal note, I'll add that one of my friends had his restaurant burned to the ground by rioters, and that really sucks. The day beforehand he was feeding protesters for free, and allowed his community room to be used for people who needed help. If you know anything about the restaurant industry, you know they're all under-insured. And the city will hold a quarter of his insurance payment in escrow to guarantee it gets repairedor demo'd, which makes it even worse. Remember the video of umbrella guy at the Autozone? That was just a couple of blocks from his restaurant. For him the only good news is that he has huge support from the community. We'll figure out how to get him back up and running. I'll be talking to him soon about what he should do next.
CNN employees insist everything is insured so no problem if it's all burned down:
https://pbs.twimg.com/media/EZRi_XjW...png&name=small
Hey I'm the one who thinks the riots should have been taken seriously from the very beginning and stopped. It's people like Sally Kohn, the rest of CNN, and many people on the left who are literally saying damaging property is no big deal because these businesses have insurance.
A police officer was stabbed in the neck last night by a rioter, the rioter then stole his gun and shot two other officers.
I went to school with a few people that went on to be cops. I heard one once say that they just want to be a cop so they can kill a n****r. So that must mean all cops are killers.
I also know a person that went to a protest and didn't burn anything. So all protesters are peaceful.
See how stupid you sound when you just wrap people up into 2 groups?
oh we are deflecting with grammar now
your winning i must retreat to my basement in shame
Here he is on what's left of his roof. That tangled mess to the left is what's left of a cell phone tower panel room that was up on the roof. I think, it's kind of hard to tell.

Not that it makes the rioters any less pieces of shit than they are, but at this point cops shouldn't even be bringing horses there. And if they're going to keep doing it anyway, anyone who attacks it whether on purpose or not needs their skull caved in.

Might want to hold off on investing too much into your friend's business, the city council of Minneapolis is considering disbanding their police force.
Your friend's business will just get burned down again once that happens. You should instead see about getting your friend the hell out of that shithole city.
I'm thinking this is catching officers off guard because they didn't realize just how much of low life scum these rioters are that they would hurt horses, and since the media isn't reporting on them attacking horses the different police forces haven't yet realized how dangerous it is for their horses.
lol, no. Horses are excellent rioting busting tools. The worse a riot is, the more you'll see horses. Heavy cavalry didn't dominate centuries of warfare for no reason.

Too many folks are confused when they hear we need to #DefundPolice. I ask you to engage in this debate with an openness. There is real validity in dismantling the current racist system that has led to this pain.
This is where you now deflect and say "Ah ha! So just the police and ICE, but not all others!" Because yes, after they defund the police and ICE I'm sure they'll stop there.
I just wish the rioters would show up at Tlaib's house. 1 million out of 1 million times, she would call the police.

I know I said I'd bow out, but for as much vitriol is being thrown at the rioters here I wanted to share these videos I came across and I had some time to burn, and I have weak self control. Good cops or bad cops? How do you combat this kind of mentality in the police force? Both sides have justifiable reasons to be angry and scared and hostile right now, but it's no excuse for their behavior. But it is a reason, and you have to understand the reason that the problem exists in order to fix it or even contribute to a possible solution. And you can't fix it for just one side, or it all happens all over again. Spinning it one way or the other won't help. The issue is that this has been going on along time, and we all ignore it. We just say, "Ah, there's nothing we can do about it. Maybe he deserved it." Case in point, watch this one first: https://twitter.com/cangia48/status/1268380509870022657

So it's not an isolated incident where police think it's okay to kill civilians for the slightest of infractions (but they wouldn't move out of my way!!!). These are just what have been caught on camera or leaked that I found in like 5 minutes of scrolling through a single Twitter feed. This is really how some of these cops think. Do they all think like that? Of course not. However the problem is if you actually know any cops, you know they are a brotherhood. There are as always exceptions to the rule, but most of them I've met act this way, and they speak about it very openly. They'd never arrest a fellow officer for a DUI, or going 50 over in their personal car. It's not about doing the right thing for some of them, or serving and protecting. Certain jobs attract certain personality types and positions of authority, like policing tends to draw people who get off on exerting their power over others. I unfortunately decided to watch the video of the officer kneeling on the neck of George Floyd's unmoving body for many minutes. How could anyone think that is acceptable to do to another human being? Who exactly was he serving and protecting? A gas station over a counterfeit $20? The officers weren't really in any danger, certainly nothing beyond what they are trained to do. Do you really think it's not a common mentality among them? It's time to open your eyes if you're in favor of police and soldiers killing rioters and looters. The day it's okay to for our government to gun down unarmed citizens in the streets for not obeying their orders, is a day that this country has jumped the shark and there is no coming back. So please, think twice before you support that. It could be your kid or your friend's kid out there protesting and get gunned down by our own Government. Or your niece, nephew, or cousin. One day, it could even be you. This is going to affect much, just like COVID did. Tiananmen Square won't ever be forgotten, and we if we respond the same way, neither will our response. Except with more pictures and videos.
Please quit furthering this hatred and find some common ground, some compromise, regardless of who you support and vote for. Realize that just because you don't agree with their methods, it doesn't mean they don't have a legitimate reason, just as you have a legitimate reason for being upset about what they're doing. If you can find some empathy then you can help instead of hurt. The more brutal the Government gets, the more people are going to speak out and act out. This is not going to go away with force, unless it's under martial law. But that, my friends, is an ugly prospect and one I hope does not come to pass because we may never come out of it. The people in charge are going to have to actually listen and realize that things need to change, realize their prejudiced/racist views, and fix them. And I mean the racist liberals and the racist conservatives. All of them, they exist on both sides, though not every one one both sides is a racist. And all of the people of the USA. Unless you're perfectly okay with people living in our country that you yourself would not want to be treated as. That video said it all better than I can.
And don't forget this one. How dare he ride his bike. Wweren't people upset about perceived inability to die bikes during the pandemic lockdowns?

That is all. Have a nice night, and I hope everyone tries on a different point of view.
DISCLAIMER: Just to be very clear, I do not condone the violence on any side. I could post some videos of rioters throwing stuff at cops and cops returning force, but Tgo has already supplied several of those. Anyone committing acts of violence are not helping anyone's cause. Just in case anyone wants to try and say I'm okay with protesters attacking cops, I most definitely am not. Both sides should be represented though. I also think the 'squad' is pretty far out there.
Oh, I found something. So, when this happened, should police have shown up and pulled people out of their cars, run them over, and shot them? Or it's okay because it was people who feel the same way as you for protesting for THEIR rights?

Also, would you have stood up when she asked the question? She wasn't lecturing them on their whiteness, she was making an appeal to realize that ignoring what is happening doesn't fix the problem, and we all do know there's a problem.
