(Tikri, India) -- The family of an Indian man are looking for justice after he was stoned to death by a group of monkeys Thursday. The 72-year-old man was out collecting wood in the village of Tikri when a group of monkeys in a tree started hurling bricks from a nearby ruined building at the man.

He was hit around 20 times in the head and chest and succumbed to his injuries.

The victim's family says it's murder and wants accountability. But the police have ruled the death an accident, arguing they can't really file charges against monkeys.

Sucks for the dude, but I bet even he giggled internally at the situation before the lights went out.

Who knows, really. However, in the article someone from the opening act was interviewed and it sounds like he did have session musicians for the performance.

What was the headline set like in the end?

“After our set, everyone left due to the circumstances of the evening. At the time I believed that the promoter had duped Threatin so I did feel sorry for him – therefore I said to the band that we should stay and watch his set as I for one didn’t want him to play to an empty room. In light of the events, his session musicians were very good (who probably didn’t have a clue either) and Threatin’s performance, despite the empty room, was energetic.”

I didn't have a Dreamcast on launch (I was too busy with GS!!!1) but I got one a while back for my collection. It's a pretty good system, aside from the battery issues with the VMU and the internal one. Good way to learn soldering.

No, this is the story about a kid who thinks the government sucks so he becomes a terrorist. He also hallucinates the spirit of the dead girl he loved (and killed). After he gets caught in a trap and knocked out, they put him on trial. He's found super guilty and put on the firing line.

As he's about to get shot, the actual spirit of the girl he had feelings for comes back and tells him she never liked him, he's a loser, he's a bad person and she's glad he's going to die because his spirit won't be joining hers. Then he gets his brain blown apart.

No, the Lt did that. I sat on my ass in the AC of my MRAP fucking around with the BFT while he did that because I was too old to be pulling security.

Hajji Shali Khan was the village elder, or he claimed to be anyways. I think all the grown men in my village added Khan to their name and claimed to be in charge.

They'd offer chai though. No one had electricity where I was, just generators for wells and water pumps, so no refrigeration... And nobody wants to drink 120 degree energy drinks.

Edit: At least they're allowing embeds again. For a while they were straight up replacing images with advertisements if I recall.

Helmand, about 10k north of Marjah. And it was very pretty when the poppies bloomed. That only lasted for like a week though. I think the lack of color everywhere else made them look that much better.

Years ago I worked at a place where I was friendly with the guy who cleaned up all of the bathrooms. He would constantly say how disgusting the women's bathroom was but I don't think he ever once complained about the men's bathroom.

It was like a weekly thing when he said someone in the women's bathroom had literally shit on the walls.

tl:dr This chick was YouTube famous for being a vegan and telling others how to live like a vegan and of course selling them shitty vegan detox things. She was caught on camera eating fish so she had to confess that 5 years ago her doctors were worried about her health and urged her to eat more protein, which of course came from animals.

But that didn't stop her from telling everyone else to keep living a vegan lifestyle. It's almost like humans were designed to eat meat or something.

She could have added a lot of vegan things to her diet that had more protein though, like peanut butter.

Yeah but she was already thin as a rail and probably didn't want to gain too much weight and probably didn't have the energy to do much aerobic exercises.

She could get 20 grams of protein from just 90 calories of fish, she would need to consume almost 500 calories worth of peanut butter to get that same amount of protein. It probably wouldn't have been a problem to begin with if she was more mindful of her protein and fat needs all along, but people think going vegan is easy. Just stop eating animal products! Nothing bad can happen!

The human body can survive purely on meat. Many societies did (and do) just that. Surviving on an entirely plant-based diet only became possible recently with globalization and import/export of certain crops. This is a side tangent but I get triggered by vegans talking about how much more 'healthy' and 'natural' their diet is.
