"Fat" and "ugly" are both opinions. I can tell you that medically I am very active, in decent shape, and not morbidly obese. As for ugly, I don't believe so, and my boyfriend doesn't believe so.

Those are opinions, you have to judge for yourself. I do not believe myself to be fat or skinny, and I do not believe myself to be ugly. Flawed, yes. Humans are. Ugly, no.

Those don't seem deserving of this thread to me. The first two even appeared to be custom tailored for the items rather than generic script-generated loresongs. Not everyone can be a grand poet. Better than the hand/land and effortless two-line "X of great quality;What is your ability" bits I used to see all the time till singing in different languages was allowed. After that change most of the bards I saw loresinging sang in Guild, and I can only imagine this was because there wasn't any effort put into the songs and they didn't want to show it.

Having to impress people with Creative Writing degrees is a pretty high standard for a game, roleplaying-oriented or no. While the ideal vision of a bard is someone who could routinely do so, this is a game of people assuming roles they'd enjoy, not people taking roles because they know they'd be perfect at them. From an in-game perspective, perhaps said bard was still going through their training and had not yet achieved the rank of "professional, all-impressing poet."

TL;DR: The songs weren't that good, but that doesn't make the bard a bad roleplayer. They were trying.

Am I the only one who finds it a little annoying when Zakyu corrects people out loud when they use the wrong your/you're?

I get frustrated as much as the next literate person that many people don't know the difference, but in a setting where things are spoken, there's no audible difference between your, and you're, their, there, and they're, here and hear, etc.

I find it to be OOC and highly annoying when he does it, since you would have to discern which you're/your a person used by context, and not by sound, and wouldn't know how they'd spell it in their head when saying it.

Yeah TG Cid/Orlandu made it a breeze. The trick was to just not use him on later run throughs. Even with him there were a couple of tough battles, without him it was a lot of fun. I always thought that would have made an awesome multiplayer game (as long as you got rid of calculators, who were insanely powerful once you leveled them up).

I fail to see the bad RP here. Is it because she used a number, as opposed to saying 'four-ish'? Or because of the term ish? I don't see any problem with using numbers IC. I've been using numbers as numbers since I started playing about, shit, 15 years ago. If someone told me they needed to buy seventeen (whatever the fucks) or one hundred and thirty three (crappy things for sale) from me, I would find that humorous.

My character will not respond in whispers to someone who is much taller than her, unless they're sitting or kneeling. So she responded aloud. If it was OOC, I would have imagined that she would have said "No I meant that OOC" after the first time I responded IC.

I used to hate when people I don't know come up to me calling me by my character's full name. It still irks me, but I just sorta stopped calling people on it. (They usually give the same response anyways "Oh, somebody told me.")

She just doesn't like her full name. She goes by the second half of it. She doesn't introduce herself as Aoifekyna, so no one that actually roleplays with her knows that is her full name.
