We looted the last boss, there was a ring and something else no one could use I don't think.

It was regular. Heroic drops higher item level epics. Regular drops are only level 200. I don't think they will change it. They want people to catch up gearwise or to gear up alts.

I used an iPhone application that did the same thing... then I quit WoW while I moved and renovated my new house. It was a BITCH to get that account back since my authenticator wasn't helping.. so after about 3-4 emails with billing, I had to fax a copy of my ID along with a letter stating I was who I was and that I wanted my account turned back on. 4 days later, I got it.

Alot of people in my guild are starting to farm it too. Every few runs you can turn the stone shards --> honor --> epic gems too, their gonna nerf it I imagine its just to easy.

The Black Heart with 126 stam seems like it's going to be the "starter" tank trinket of choice, with Essence of Gossamer. 237 stam between two trinkets, crazy.

The transition for a druid tank is brutal - switch out lance, bear form, enrage, charge, swipe, that's a buncha GCDs for tards to just be tarded.

Nah and heres why, DKs routinely do over 10k dps on trash in 3.1 and no one gives a shit, reason : No one gives a shit what dps people do on trash. The only thing that changed is that there will be a few more hot streak procs and that wont bump mages dps high enough to bring down the nerf bat. Hell it wont even put us within 500 dps of rogues on patchwerk fights. Theres plenty of parses out there from the ptr showing rogues and feral druids still miles ahead of mages on single target dps. Although that always tends to even out as new gear is aquired because mages scale far better to stat increase then rogues and druids.

PS - For anyone who wants to do xRealm AV premades, I found this really good vent channel that is extremely organized and does a great job on the Cyclone battlegroup. We average 10K honor an hour and seriously haven't lost a single AV since playing with them.

Sucks you can't do anything with the AV tokens though :(

I can't raid anything, hell instances are a touch laggy. The internet I have at the hotel is shoddy at best. Hell even tube8 is choppy and that's just not right.

So far, they've only run AV.. and tokens are capped at 100. For great honor, you need a token from all 6 to turn in.

The concept for winning AV is pretty easy. All rogues/druids ride north then stealth across the bridge and cap the towers/first aid. Groups 1-5 kills Balinda, then backtrack and retake towers/GY outside Galv. Groups 6,7 and 8 are assigned a specific tower to destroy, then they all head to Vann and kill him, while 10 in groups 1-5 recall and defend base. Generally, the game lasts about 10-12 minutes and we get anywhere from 1700 to 2000 honor.

I like bgs....all of them. I deleted a full set of hateful myself and didnt mind. PB was just like I dont use marks for gay shit I only use it for things that give me solid gear upgrades....well seriously at this point in the season if thats your approach just stop trying. It will cost you the same amount of honor in two weeks to get a real gear set then its costing you right now to get outdated hateful shit that wont even give you a real chance in arena.

I like getting titles and mounts and achievements too so what. PB was just like I dont use marks for gay shit I only use it for things that give me solid gear upgrades....well seriously at this point in the season if thats your approach just stop trying. Youl be able to buy furious set gear with emblems from heroics and furious off set gear without an arena rating or with an absurdly low one (under 1300) for honor. If you add in trinkets and gems, I'm pretty sure you can get close to 1000 resilience in Hateful gear.

With normal gemming and enchanting and assuming your going to equip a non-resil secondary trinket you will come to around 700-800 after gemming and enchanting. Most people will end up around 700-720 because gemming/enchanting straight resilience is pretty uncommon.

You forgot the +50 resilience from the 2 piece bonus, plus a socket bonus here and there.

Yah I just dont think people gem resil, if you dont your gonna be about 700-800 which is normal for hateful, closer to 700 if you equip a pve trink which most people generally do in my experience. Those wg on demand attack power discs are nice though and I admit I forgot about them. If you want to go loony toons with yellow resil gems you could prolly hit 1000 I just dont think its a reasonable plan to actually do anything. I factored the set bonus in at the beginning btw it is in there.

I was pugging H-ToC with 4 of them, me healing. The terribad tank, who has two pieces of T8.5 conq, and then a bunch of heroic/ToC/naxx 10 epics, can't keep aggro on anything.

Three faction champions come out, the rogue, the shaman, the hunter. He marks the rogue LAST. I'm like, WTF, put hunter last. He doesn't like to go around "chasing her" so much, and I'm like, it doesn't matter, the rogue is more dangerous.

We do it his way. Everyone dies, he blames me. I point to the recount which shows me doing almost 3k HPS, and how the rogue killed everyone because it was FoK everyone, putting poisons on him when I can't poison cleanse, and people were standing in poison (all his retarded g-mates). On top of that, I pulled healing aggro off the hunter because he really doesn't know how to keep aggro on her while tanking the other two, despite the fact that he marked the hunter second.

Still, they blame me.

We come in, we do it my way, we win, tho some of the retard DPS had to run back in due to standing in poison. He's like, man, you don't know how to heal. I was like, your DK buddy over there keeps pulling aggro and I keep on having to heal her. He links the damage taken meter for the last fight, which shows the DK has taken 35% of the damage, and almost 80k damage, IN THE ONE BOSS ENCOUNTER. Then, he proceeds to tell me, that's not much damage, and I should be able to heal both him, who took over 200k damage, and her, in this fight. The fight lasts, what, maybe 90 seconds? That's over 3k HPS, which is a lot of healing, and that's just the two of them. And I tell them this, and the DK uses this as her counterargument: I put out more than 3K DPS, you should be able to put out 3K HPS. In a 5 man. As disc.

I roll my eyes, whatever, let's keep on going. Palestress goes off without a hitch, though he yells at me for keeping everyone else alive while I let him get down to 20% health, even though I had PS'd him and everything.

Black Knight, on the first phase, the huntard freeze traps the ghoul, so it's alive after p1 instead of just blowing up. Then, in p2, the tank can't pick up all the adds. Literally, all 5 ppl had aggro. I ran thru the DK's DnD and faded and still had shit chasing me. Nevertheless, I keep everyone alive. Until the end, of course, when warrior tank and his DK retard friend STAND IN A GROUP OF EXPLODING ghouls. Blames me for not healing him. I say, dude - don't stand in a group of ghouls with fucking exploding whatchamacallits over their heads. They both die, I manage to kite the remaining ghoul and Black Knight with just shields, renew, PS, and a quick penance or two on me, while they run back. P3, I get the death's bite, so I'm AOE healing with all I got (PoM+shields+PoH), and everyone stays alive except me, because I'm cloth and had that wicked debuff. He's like, release, and run back, and we'll loot, since no one else can rezz, and I do, and while I'm a ghost, he kicks me from the group.

I wish I could gank Horde.

I only lost a conquest badge, but still, I'm pissed.

Just an FYI... either by design or by bug, those adds don't have an aggro table. Tanks can't hold them.. they go all over hell.

It's temporary though. You can taunt them back to you, but moments later, they go after someone who's not even hitting them.

You can't. You can get aggro, but it's impossible to hold aggro. Think about it.. if they acted like all other mobs in the game, all you would have to do is hit them once and then stay over the healer and they would never go anywhere except on you.

I think thats somewhat of a strategy mistake. Having as many healers as possible spec into dps and crack out adds and help roll the debuff on hodir make the fight way easier. I solo heal hodir on 10 man all the time for hard mode...we run 3 on 25. The funny thing is if you get the hang of it hard mode is easier than doing it normally.:shrug:

I was in a half pug Naxx 10 man last night. I don't think I'm doing pugs for Naxx or Ulduar anymore :( We had a shaman who didn't drop totems, didn't pop hero on Patch... in fact he stopped doing anything and I suspect was looking for hero when I asked him to pop it.

My guild is about 95% raiders, die hard raiders too... they'll put up with some shit for a little bit, but you gotta be listening. If you aren't, it's gkick time.

My friend actually sabotages naxx runs for fun. Pulls aggro and then stops dps and runs around taking heals, drops cleansing totems on grobbulus, throws up aspect of the pack on heigan...its pretty fun actually because were all in the same vent and none of the other people in his group are and he has so many toons he just doesnt care what their reputations are.

Well my statement was misleading. The guild members are pretty hardcore raiders, but not their sole purpose in life. I'm actually really happy with them, we all talk in vent and "hang out" even when not raiding. When I dinged 80 5 or 6 of them all contributed BOE 80 items, crafted items, enchants, gems, etc and upped my dps by like 450.

They are knowledgable and helpful, and when we raid we have fun and they explain fights if not everyone knows them, etc. I guess kind of standard stuff. Only thing I don't care much for is that the majority are in Australia and New Zealand, so they are really late night raiders. I think I said it before but I got in the guild because my brother, who's in Korea, is in it.

I was in a noob "leveling" guild on an alt and I fucking hated it.

Did twin Val's last night now that its buffed....on 25 man its a healing nightmare. The only way to reliably get through is for the healers to stand around the melee dps set to the opposite color of everyone their healing and run around catching the color that the melee their healing are not if a ball gets to the melee thats the wrong color it will explode and do 8-9k damage to all the melee and the tanks, which if timed correctly could gib the tank.

Meanwhile the entire raid is taking constant tick damage of 2 or 3k, the tanks are being destroyed and mouth breathers are getting slammed for 8.5k orb hits. Its sensory overload...grid is flying all over the place while your running around the room trying to catch multi-colored balls and maintain the right color debuff. Pretty fun I guess but its inching toward the border of too stressful to be enjoyable.

We did it on 10 man. Had to boot a scrub rogue and then a tank left. Got Anticor on his DK and downed it on like the second try. Then WG was about to start and we lost our chance at the other two. :(

Started the heroic 10 man, but the Northrend beasts come out on a timer (2 1/2 minutes). We'd burn the first guy down in time, but we'd be behind on the remaining snobolds, and then people wouldn't spread out and multiple ppl would get hit with a toxin/fire breath. The fire breath hits for a SHIT TON on heroic mode. It's not good.

Then a few people had to leave, so we didn't even manage the first boss. Heroic seems hard. Got 41 attempts left.

On heroic Trial of the Crusader, yes. You get 50 attempts for the raid lockout period. You get better loot for doing it in fewer attempts, an achievment for doing it in less than 25, and a mount for doing it in 1 attempt.

It's hard, man. I don't anticipate anyone doing it in 1 attempt for at least a few lockout periods.
