Israel at War?

Honestly it seems like no one really cares this is happening, which is really surprising to me.

Yeah sure countries are putting out statements condemning Israel, but overall the response is very muted. I think most of the world is just sick of Iran's shit and their closer allies like Russia and China probably consider Iran to be a liability at this point.

I'm sure Trump being president actually probably helps Israel in this situation too. Everyone in the world is too busy worrying about Trump somehow being a king to worry about Israel bombing Iran.

For Russia, I think they are watching their weapons getting their shit kicked in and are very worried. Just like the shit in Ukraine, they are learning that their equipment isn't nearly as good as they thought it was, they can't field enough of it and that their tactics are shit and the west would in fact, despite the propaganda, kick their shit in with not much effort if they went at it with Europe or the US. It's hard to learn that you aren't really even a near peer power much less no longer a super power. Patton and MacArther were right, we likely should have gone after them a long time ago to save lives.

For China, they are saving up for their own war and don't want to draw too much attention to themselves. I also think their analysts are looking at what a few hundred 4th and 5th generation western fighter bombers are doing with impunity. They don't have enough J-20 and J-35 to really be a threat to an American carrier group much less a real effort from America. They have missiles, sure, our air defense has shown that they aren't really as much of a threat as people thought they might be. Not to mention, they have never tracked a US sub and every one of their major ships is being tailed every time it puts to sea.

Like the Gulf war, like the US shooting down a satellite for "safety reasons", like a lot of other things around the world, we are showing the rest of the world our old, out dated toys and the fact they can't even keep up with them so maybe, they should try talking rather than fighting.

I agree that the whole world is tired of the Middle East bullshit. One of the best things the US can do to put an end to all that crap is to produce more oil and natural gas to sell to Europe and the rest of the world so the money in that part of the world dries up. Several of the countries there are moving off the petro-ecomony so they are prepared for less oil demand.

I for one would LOVE to just start containment for the region. Don't buy anything from them, don't sell them anything remotely military, don't let anyone out for pretty much any reason and let them rot. It's my same opinion of most of Africa, Central America and so on. Make it so that if you attack an American, we kill you and anyone near you but cut off the rest of the world. We have our own minerals short of titanium, we should use those and tell the rest of the world to fuck off.
