On “only someone with below-average intelligence could look at today’s world and still support the Democrats”, I disagree. There are average or above average intellect people that are brainwashed into progressive leftist ideology. I bet you know someone in your extended family or a neighborhood that is not stupid but chooses to be intellectually dishonest if it gets in the way of their ideological political beliefs. Most universities are filled with misguided smart brainwashed young adults and professors. They don’t have low IQ…it’s something else. As a different example, cults like the Church of Scientology & Branch Dividians attracted accomplished highly intelligent people professionals. We should not underestimate the opposition.
