There are average or above average intellect people that are brainwashed into progressive leftist ideology. I bet you know someone in your extended family or a neighbor that is not stupid but chooses to be intellectually dishonest if it gets in the way of their ideological political beliefs. Most universities are filled with misguided smart brainwashed young adults and professors. They don’t have low IQ…it’s something else. As a different example, cults like the Church of Scientology & Branch Dividians attracted accomplished highly intelligent professionals to their ranks. We should not underestimate the opposition.

I have an example, and it’s my aunt. She is a lifelong educator, was a superintendent of a school district, a good moral person in her personal life, believes that abortion is a mortal sin (she used to be a Catholic nun), but has always been a Democrat even to this day. I don’t understand how she can accept the modern Democrat party, but she does. She also has TDS.

It’s hard for me to understand as well. Look at Canada who had it worse in that time, and who they just elected as PM. Look at Europe. They are finally starting to understand that leftist policies has failed them miserably, but I fear it’s too late. In Ireland, hell even the Catholics and Protestants are finally getting along. All it took for them to unite was an invasion of Arab Muslims & the complete destruction of their national sovereignty & culture.

Plenty of people have political conversations without resorting to personal attacks. For a great example of this watch CNN any week night at 10pm EST for Abby Philip's show or on FOX News Sunday's Media Buzz around 2pm EST. Both shows have people from both parties discussing the day's issues. They get heated but don't call each other "retarded" or resort to any other playground insults. You know why? Because they are adults who know that the one throwing insults is the one who is wrong. Every. Single. Time.

Part of the reason the political spectrum on the PC leans heavily alt right is because no one wants to put up with your and others emotional insult laden hysterics IN EVERY SINGLE POST. You guys can't have a normal conversation like normal people. It's like Tourette's but you're mashing on a keyboard trying soooo hard to think up insults. When someone isn't posting a different point of view you guys turn on each other like starving rats caught in a cage. It's negative energy even though its just a forum. Normal people don't need that but you guys thrive on it.
