This Is How You Lose the Tariff War

The below is from a federal lawsuit filed by a Florida paper company that imports products from China.



What if

• the tariffs are illegal, and
• the government has to refund them, and
• Trump started a trade war for nothing, and
• we have a recession, and
• our allies no longer trust us, and,
• as a result, the dollar loses its international primacy?

All of those outcomes have a significant, or at least more than insignificant, probability of happening.

What if

• ClydeR wasn’t born with mental retardation, and
• ClydeR’s father actually returned to the family home in 1989 after getting a pack of smokes, and
• ClydeR learned a real marketable skill in high school and/or college, and
• ClydeR found a rear career as a young adult, and
• ClydeR’s mom had the courage & self respect to kick ClydeR out of her basement, and,
• as a result, ClydeR wasn’t such a loser & could order cold cuts from the deli all by himself.

Unfortunately, the PC will never know & we may only speculate.
