Stop trying to be holier than thou. If you were a white colonialist in the 1700s with the proper economic means, you too would have owned slaves. Slavery was not uniquely American and was common practice in every nation on Earth in the 18th century. The United States was among the first nations to abolish slavery. Those that you proclaim to be “freedom fighters” still practice some forms of slavery today and restrict the rights & education of women.Originally Posted by Back
