I honestly don't know enough about the whole South African history to make any comment on it. I am a huge believer in giving the indigenous peoples of the land they live on equal say and rights in any conversation that deals with the country.

Countries have ways to address issues to have with other countries. It's called the United Nations. There's also the international court. These are things that we have to use when we think another country is out of line.

What I've seen on the subject recently is is that those Afrikaans don't want to come here. They represent 7% of the population, they own something like 70% of the land, and are at the top of the income brackets.

If our aid is going to some other humanitarian effort outside of these specific issues I don't agree with it being cut. Aid is a good thing. It's a good thing that we do it.
If you weren't aware, USAID isn't foreign aid.
