Rep Stefanik asked Ms. Gay a question related to the policy of Harvard University, which was answered. You, nor the far right flank of your party got the answer they wanted-- a personal declaration of belief in lieu of the policy of Harvard University.

Spin her answer as being tone deaf all you want, but I doubt that the Framers intended the investigative ability of Congress to gather information related to legislative purposes as an opportunity for extremists like Ms. Stefanik to gather sound bites.

The answer to Stefanik’s question was yes. That is not how they answered.

I think our founders would be ok with asking the university a few questions about their Jew hating when they receive federal funding.
