Now I know math is hard for you... but maybe you can figure out what's occurring since I'm helping you along.

If you need the "official letter" from the source - https://singlefamily.fanniemae.com/media/33241/display

Be sure to click on the 2 links in it... one is pre-May 1, and one is post May 1. This hits the middle class - those that put a down payment of 20-40% on their home the most.

You forgot to do your actual homework dumbass... and that's why shit like this can happen slowly but surely...
Last year, we announced changes to our pricing for second homes, high-balance loans, and cash-out refinances, and we introduced LLPA waivers for certain borrowers and affordable mortgage products.
You're citing two different Fannie Mae products there bro. Moreover your letter isn't for standard, primary home purchases.

It's a dumb rule created by a dumb administration.

You don't incentivise poor behavior or you will just get more of that poor behavior.

"Mortgage fees are changing for homebuyers next month. Here's what you should know."

Just one final nail in your coffin Seran.. you fucking moron.

And for fun, to help compound the issue...

"FHFA also plans a fee on August 1 for borrowers with at least a 40% debt-to-income (DTI) ratio and 60% loan-to-value ratio, calculated by how large your loan is compared with the value of your home."

They're setting people up for failure, and confiscation of personal property... but do the morons out there understand what's coming? Probably not... 2008 is to long ago... not to mention the previous slow transitions to socialism that governments imposed on their populous... but hey... don't worry, it's all just a conspiracy theory.

Why yes, that is absolutely devastating that someone with a poor credit score will see a 1.25% average drop in closing costs, while a high credit score will see as high as a 0.125% increase. That tenth of a percent increase is practically usury! Rabble rabble rabble.

It's socialism through government. We should burn down the capital.

Just to put this in perspective, Shaps is wanting to start an uprising over lower credit scores paying $3,750 less in one-time closing costs, while high credit scores would pay an extra $375.00 in one-time closing costs. I do understand the concern of pro-classism Republicans that expanding homeownership and boosting entry into the middle class is frightening. Imagine a society where an individual family could afford a mortgage of $1,600 per month that they would normally be forced to rent from a corporation or foreign wealth fund for $2,200 per month.

So, people with higher credit scores are subsidizing people with lower credit scores.

It only took four days to get you where normal people were.

The government should stop incentivising poor behavior.

Your credit score is literally your own doing.
