The Dem's are showing that they have a complete lack of understanding for the reason why Trump was elected in the first place. Michael Moore was 100% right in his explanation of why Trump got elected, it was a giant "fuck you!" to the political class. The same political class that has failed, miserably, to keep in check the things that are the most important concerns to the people that just told the political class to fuck off.
Nobody is filling their tank and thinking to themselves "Fuck Jan. 6th!", they are screaming in their heads "Fuck Joe Biden!"
The Federal Reserve will be raising the interest rate by 3/4's of a percent over the next few days. This will continue until we get interest rates above the rate of inflation. A 30 year mortgage was still around 13.5 percent in 1984 and that was to achieve a 4.75 inflation rate. The average inflation rate between 1984 and 2022 is around 2.75 percent. People that have unfixed debt (balloon loans) are going to get hammered over the coming years, our consumer debt is 7 times greater than it was in 1984.
It really shouldn't be that surprising. We decided to put great, great, grandpa at the wheel when the car was going at the speed of light.
The economic indicators pretty much spell out a downturn worse than the 70's and early 80's. Nobody is going to be thinking about Jan. 6th come November 8th, voters will be thinking "Fuck Joe Biden!"
