So, the Department of Labor has a database which lists the types of products from different countries that /may/ be the result of child or exploitative labor, do you consult it every time you're shopping in person or online? Whenever you're hunting down that Made in the USA label, do you bother to check to see if materials or parts were sourced from these countries? Or are you one of those hypocrites that loves to talk about a problem but not actually honor your own arguments?

Nobody is forcing "loveless" couples to remain together. Though our current safety net structure forces loving couples to separate. We know children from single parent homes suffer from a whole spectrum of problems, from learning to behavioral.
Actually, that's exactly what Shaps is eluding to, the destruction of the stereotypical two parent household. To /qualify/ for services, you have to meet income thresholds for federal programs and for TANF benefits if there is a two parent household one parent is required to actively seek work. From your replies to the other thread, it seemed like you supported able bodied work requirements. Are you now saying you feel families are so desperate to seek cash assistance they're required to split up? I can tell you, that is not reality.
