If there is another debate, it will be interesting to watch how the fallout from this last debate will impact the behaviors of Trump, Biden, and whoever is chosen to moderate. All the crosstalk was tiresome so I wouldn't be sorry to see the moderator take harsher measures.

My opinion on abortion is that the fetus is part of the woman's body until the umbilical cord is cut. The woman should have the right and freedom to do with her body what she pleases. If, BIG IF, there is any spiritual or karmic punishment for it it falls on the woman and the woman alone.

Trump is used to debating people who are decent debaters though.. he really needs to stfu and let Biden stumble through the answers he is trying to give. Interrupting Biden when he's talking is a fundamental flaw in his strategy.. he needs to let Biden speak as much as possible and watch the fun.

Re-watching the debate, he had Biden on the ropes 3-4 times, but kept talking over Biden's mumble, so Biden didn't have to finish the thought that was eluding him.

In checking my voicemails for yesterday, I have one from a (former) friend who informed me that he no longer wants to be friends with any Trump supporters. The reason has to do with something Trump said during the debate. He wasn't specific and as I didn't watch the debate, I don't know what triggered his reaction. The said thing is that I am far more a supporter of the Republican party than I am of Trump himself.

I lost a couple friends a few years ago due to my being a Republican. But the voicemail I heard this morning is bothering me more.

This nation is becoming more and more polarized. I wonder where we will be in five years.

Knee jerk reactions happen, and chances are if your friendship means anything to him, he would hear you out. I can't say I can relate to him, as I don't think I'd disavow any friends over supporting Trump (he is a great con artist after all), but if they were a good friend it's worth reaching out in my opinion.
