I’m not sure if you are aware but Virginia has been a contested area for gun rights. Saying that you are going to bring a firearm DOES NOT imply you are going to use it to enforce your beliefs through violence. Lookup the January 20th 2020 protest in Richmond as an example. Thousands attended with arms to protest, and not a single one was used. Only one arrest was made and that was for wearing a mask in public. Oh the irony and how times have changed…
