There is no room for rational debate on this. If you are arguing she's not threatening people you are nuts. Sure, she MOST LIKELY is not a threat and it's all posturing because she got on a mic for 3 minutes, but there is no defense for it. She should be investigate and penalized so that when the real nutjob who means it does/says something like this, we ALSO investigate and penalize them. If we don't it's just the wild west and lets all bring our loaded guns to school and sort it out at high noon.

So, she'd probably be charged with Inciting a panic, which is a class 5 felony in Virginia. 1-10 years in prison with aa fine of up to $2,500.

They may plea it down to a misdemeanor and fine or drop it all together, depending on the workload of the prosecutor and whether or not they want to make a point.

She didn't specifically threaten to do bodily harm, as in, she never said she was going to shoot up a school or any specific person, so I doubt they'd hit her with threats of death or bodily injury to persons on school property, which is significantly worse in penalties.
