Bahahah, yes that's exactly how the commodity market works. Again do you have any fucking clue how the oil market works?
It's okay to admit you are completely over your head in this discussion. Sure we'll all make fun of you, but it would be over and done with in a matter of hours. Pretending you have a single clue as to how this works means we'll just make fun of you for as long as you continue this charade.
Seran: Bahahahah! Like the market cares about one European country implementing another China Virus shutdown, fearing that more European countries could soon follow. The real reason prices are "going down" is because Biden threatened to investigate American oil companies for collusion!
I mean shit, if anything Biden's threats would cause oil prices to go UP.
https://www.yahoo.com/news/report-de...091519466.html
"Report: Democracy backsliding across the world amid pandemic"
"Democracy is deteriorating across the world, with countries notably taking undemocratic and unnecessary actions to contain the coronavirus pandemic, an intergovernmental body said in its new report Monday."
"The 34-nation organization added that as of August 2021, 64% of countries have taken an action to curb the pandemic that it considers “disproportionate, unnecessary or illegal."
"In its flagship report on the state of democracy, International IDEA said the number of backsliding democracies has doubled in the past decade, and mentioned in particular the United States, Hungary, Poland and Slovenia."
It's a power grab... those that think the mandates, legal ramifications, and social ostracization is about health and those in power caring about you... haven't been paying attention.
Oil is up 1.5% since Seran posted this, oil is up almost 13% since 3 months ago and is up over 70% in the last 12 months.
Since Seran has now admitted that Biden is "largely" responsible for the price of gas this means Biden is largely to blame for this mess.
Thanks, Biden!
Sadly, due to poor policies and management... this fucker is actually using our Strategic Reserves to bring down oil prices in the States. Those reserves are supposed to be in dire emergencies... a political clusterfuck of their creation is not a dire emergency in my opinion.
They could have not done what they've done over the past 10 months to cause this... they could increase domestic production, they could increase/continue development on the pipelines that they've shut down, etc.
Instead... they're going to raid the stockpiles we have for political gain.
This sound familiar?
https://www.reuters.com/article/us-u...75M44D20110623
"The Obama administration was also concerned about tight markets ahead of peak demand in the summer, when many Americans take to the roads for vacations. The jump in gasoline prices earlier this year was hurting Obama’s support as the White House was gearing up for its re-election campaign."
Bad policies? No problem, just use up the strategic reserves. Can't have people realizing our policies suck. Election season coming up! This is a broken fucking record, and people keep falling for it.
And for those that claim "it's covid!".. it was covid all last year also.. there was just a different administration.
Biden is releasing 50 million barrels from the strategic reserves. Hey, Seran, isn't that the opposite of what you said we should do? I'm sure it is all cool for you now though.
https://www.yahoo.com/finance/news/m...184318714.html
"Much of Biden’s Oil Release Will Likely End Up in China, India"
ROFL.. talk about the old bait-n-switch on the American public... btw.. they slipped it in, but wow... "The U.S. has already been selling oil from the SPR regularly this year, and a record volume of those barrels was exported in October."
There is some shady shit going on. "been selling oil from the SPR regularly this year"??? WTF are they doing? Oh yea.. bought and sold for by China Joe... even Seran has to think something is up with this one...
Gas prices are up almost 4% after Biden's stunt of releasing oil from the strategic reserve earlier today, and remember Seran has admitted that Biden is "largely responsible" for the cost of oil. So, Seran, when are you going to reimburse everyone for the economic damage you have now admitted your vote is causing?
Funny is if in 6 months oil prices do drop by 20% or something there will be Seran saying dumb shit like "You should thank Biden for saving you money!" even though it will take years of "low" gas prices to make up for all of the economic damage his policies have already cost poor and middle class Americans.
Do you ever get tired of hyperbole? I mean literally, you almost never have anything of substance to say, can barely drool out a complete sentence and have yet to support an argument.
Meanwhile, oil futures in 2022 have dropped sharply, the three year forecast is 3-5 dollars a barrel cheaper in average, while the ten year contracts are $25 dollars a barrel less. Only after Biden issued his executive order to have the FTC investigate illegal price gouging and market manipulation.
Meanwhile, Republicans and certain morons here on the forum are frothing at the mouth that the President has actually followed through with taking the sole actions available for the President to affect oil and gasoline prices. Almost as if they and Dreaven don't want prices to go down or the country to see relief.
Meanwhile the energy secretary pointed out on prime time news that over 25 million acres of leased land was available for leasing and almost ten thousand drilling permits have been issued. All of which are not being utilized by the oil industry who are withholding supply to keep prices high.
I always think it is funny when people try to use futures to attempt to prove a point.
Oil prices are headed for $100 despite U.S. efforts to release reserves, analyst says
And this is from CNBC, one of the biggest Biden ass kissers known to man.
But in three years oil might drop by 3 dollars per barrel!
Almost as if Democrats have been campaigning on making oil much more expensive so they could force more people to buy electric vehicles and dammit wouldn't you know it? When Democrats take over the White House and Congress gas prices suddenly spike. So weird.
Sounds great. So if oil does indeed climb to near 100 dollars a barrel like CNBC reported here are you going to finally apologize for tormenting the world with your Biden vote? Or you just gonna blame Trump and continue to blame white nationalists for the mass murders committed by black nationalists?
Meanwhile, Republicans and certain morons here on the forum are frothing at the mouth that the President has actually followed through with taking the sole actions available for the President to affect oil and gasoline prices. Almost as if they and Dreaven don't want prices to go down or the country to see relief.
Um sole action available? Didn't he shut down a pipelinefrom being built or finished and stop us from drilling and using american oil? Maybe I am thinking of a book or something
Did you even bother to read my post? 25 million federal land leases and near 10 thousand drilling permits are active and not being utilized. So no, Biden didn't stop anyone from drilling.
Biden issued an executive order halting the expansion of the Keystone pipeline that would have roughly doubled the throughout of the EXISTING pipeline, by adding a second run. As of right now, the Keystone pipeline is capable of pumping almost 600,000 barrels of oil per day from Alberta Canada, to ports in Texas. The existing Keystone pipeline isn't being used at capacity now because of fields being idled. But the argument that adding a second pipeline to the Keystone XL lowering the price of oil is as stupid as the argument that oil companies have any interest in restoring flows of their idled wells to increase available oil on the market. The oil companies DO NOT WANT THE PRICE OF OIL TO GO DOWN. Go to Oilprice.com and you can see just how heavily API analysts are trying to downplay the coordinated release of oil reserves internationally. Goldman Sachs alone is doing most of the screaming about it, because their short position on oil futures causes them to lose money with the price of oil dropping.
Seran is so stupid that he's resorted to taking the Simu approach to his arguments and is basically arguing the equivalent of things like the 515 nerf, and how EMC was adjusted later to be able to eliminate the cooldown, but ignores the fact that spells still have a 1 second RT instead of 0 like pre-nerf, which is still a gargantuan net loss, and Seran's take would be "Why are wizards complaining? Estild BUFFED Rapid Fire!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!" and then act surprised when everyone laughs at him and calls him out for being stupid and full of shit.
On the plus side, oil is down 10% currently on a mixture of covid-19 worries the the reality of the existing surplus of supply. The analysts on the oil commodities teams are absolutely flooding the news feeds trying to regurgitate news to support their positions before market call. Can't begin to say how pleasing it is to see Goldman Sachs losing a couple billion.

"Up to 740,000 potential cancer cases that should have been urgently referred by GPs have been “missed” since the first lockdown, according to a damning report.
Watchdogs also warned that NHS waiting lists could keep growing until 2025 and even reach double the current six million.
Charities said the report by the National Audit Office (NAO) reflected a “devastating” situation for many patients, with medics warning of “the biggest cancer catastrophe ever to hit the NHS”.

A bunch of Democrats went looking for the judge overseeing the Kimberly Potter trial to demand "transparency" by demanding she allow the trial to be broadcast on TV.
One Democrat in particular shouted a bunch of threats and insults while outside what he believed was her apartment and has since been arrested.
And hey look, apparently the violent tactics of the Democrats worked because the judge allowed the trial to be broadcast shortly afterwards, even though she laughably claimed their actions had no part in it.
I'm sure each and every single Democrat here is going to denounce this insurrection just as much as they denounced the protest of January 6th.
Any minute now.......any minute now...............
Calling this an insurrection. Lol. Keep melting down dude

"Black People Are Leaving Chicago en Masse. It’s Changing the City’s Power Politics."
You think these writers understand how racist they are? How the concept of "race specific wards" is antithetical to the whole concept of the United States (one that it's tried to work towards for generations).
"But the Black and Latino caucuses agree on one thing: It’s also time to create an Asian-focused ward given that the city’s Asian population has increased to nearly 7 percent in the past 10 years. The most concentrated area of Asian residents is now split between two wards represented by white and Latino aldermen.
Calabrese argues that changes like those taking place in West Englewood show that the Black Caucus map is out of touch with Chicago’s current population trends. The Latino Caucus’ map, he said, “reflects the reality of Chicago demographics today.”
Fucking sad people have let the Politicians, money brokers, and mainstream media make people think this way - in this day and age... and they don't seem to realize they are willfully "segregating" themselves and other races from each other. /sigh
Edit: Oh.. and it's not "whitey" now... it's Latino's too... "He argues that the Latino Caucus map disenfranchises the city’s Black population by diluting their power; he says he’s ready to take the map his caucus supports and that was “developed by two-thirds of the members of the City Council” to voters."
All races keeping every other race down. People need to get out of this race hustling business.. shit never stops.. just like "cancel culture" will always get to you if left unchecked.

Okay, I stopped watching the first guy because he was being an insufferable twat just like the ones we have here in the USA. He was trespassing on private property that has a mask requirement. I'm making that assumption because that's what all the anti-maskers here do for attention.
That's the next video.Quote:
ELSEWHERE, POLICE IN GERMANY REPORTEDLY DETAIN THIS WOMAN FOR NOT HAVING A VACCINE PASSPORT
>reportedly
>video is in German with no captions
....okay, sure. I guess that happened. But back to the first guy...
He started to say that he was exempt, just like the anti-maskers here in the USA do. He may be! Sadly for him, that's not the way health exemptions work! If he had an exemption, he still wouldn't be able to enter private property. A business would be required to serve him if he had a legitimate medical issue, but that still doesn't mean they have to let him in the store.
Stores in my city, during its mask mandate, accommodated people who didn't have a mask by letting them wait and pay at the door for goods. That meets the requirements for any and all medical exemptions here.
No matter what you may believe, stores DON'T want to turn away customers. The ones that get arrested at the ones that force themselves into the situation and act like children because they can't handle putting a piece of cloth over their face for 20 minutes. He didn't get arrested for not wearing a mask, he got arrested for committing the crime of trespassing.
Edit: Just saw that the DC is Tucker Carlson's network. GROSS. I'm going to go boil my eyes to get the disgusting Tucker out of them.
I agree, that cop who didn't even have his mask on correctly while giving other people shit about masks despite the other guy's medical exemption is indeed an insufferable twat.
I'm glad we agree on this, and that you also believe that that cop who had his mask on incorrectly while giving the other guy shit about masks despite the other guy's medical exemption is an insufferable twat.

Imagine being an artist trying to put food on the table, dropping an album this year and six months later people still don't have the physical copies they paid for. I RECANT THE ABOVE. FUCK PHARMACIES RIGHT NOW IN THIRD WORLD AMERICA. What flying mother-effin' F is going on!?
O.K., bye
Amazon has paid for priority service for local delivery and hires its own drivers for a lot of its warehouse stock. Meanwhile, Pharmacy A has to compete for space for its OTC medications, with Industry A who is stocking up on wheel barrel tires, Industry B backordered windshield brackets, and Retailer A whose stocking up on oak end tables.
Everyone is backfilling inventory and that doesn't account for the number of regional logistics hubs overfilled with retailers who leave goods at Port and only take final delivery when they're absolutely out.
Smart companies pay for better logistics solutions, everyone else competes.

While yes that is true, the real underlying reason commies murder farmers first is because they represent the middle class. Middle class does not imitate the ruling rich nor do they rely upon the state for assistance like the poor. Such independence cannot be tolerated in a communist government. Marxism pretends to offer a classless society, but the extermination of the middle class is their true goal.

Are you one of those people who feel it's your constitutional right to send a contagious child to school, knowing it may cause others to get sick? P.S. I know you think this is the same as the black death, but, it just isn't.
You might have a point if it worked at all like that and vaccinated people weren't also spreading Covid all over the place, probably even moreso than unvaccinated people. But you're extremely stupid and everything you just said is devoid of all logic.
Also, I'd guess that roughly 99% of people in general don't send their kids to school when their kid is sick. It's amazing that even this needed to be spelled out for you though.
Which isn't surprising, since you also said this with a straight face:
Latrinsorm is really the best representation of the current state of the democrat party. You retards should all let him lead.
I bet you're also surprised that Spotify chose Joe Rogan over Neil Young too.
I worked mostly in schools from 2008-2019. You are dead wrong, man. I'd say the number is closer to 60-70% of people keeping sick kids home. You pretty much have to spend a couple of years getting sick over and over to develop the immune system needed to work in schools.
No, while vaccinated folks can spread covid-19 as well, the likelihood of infection is so reduced that there is nothing to backup a claim vaccinated spread more contagion.
So, you believe 99% of folks are acting responsibly and keep their kid home. Alright, let's play with that figure and presume that the majority of single parent households that work can take time off freely to babysit a sick child, or have a backup babysitter. Protip: A lot of folks don't.
But 1% of contagious children who are sent to school, who sit 5-8 hours a day in close proximity to others with the current RNOT means there's a lot of sick kids as a result. Nevermind that people can also be contagious before showing symptoms.
But even if it's 1%, do you honestly believe having a child wear a mask is such an infringement of personal freedom that it's not worth drastically slowing down the rate of infection?
Can confirm (at least for NYC urban population). Sick kids in class everyday. 2-10 percent of students in attendance test positive for covid daily each day for the past two months. Parents send sick kids regularly for childcare or out of stubbornness. Prior to COVID, sick sneezy wheezy coughing students is a regular situation all year long with no respite.
On a more serious note. Anyone else not expect Senator Manchin or Senator Senema to block Biden's nominee for Justice Breyer if he retires?
Not really. Seems like a slam dunk nomination as long as Biden doesn't listen to his wacko base and nominate a complete loser.
ETA: Now I'm hearing that he wants to nominate a woman of color? Like bro... that didn't work for you as your VP selection.. why do you think that the best person for the job is 1) A woman and 2) a POC??
When you start the vetting process on what genitals they have and how much melon is in their skin.. you are doing it wrong.
ALSO... part of me wants the Republicans to act like the Democrats did whenever Trump nominated someone ala Kavanaugh and just keep throwing bullshit against the wall until something sticks... but the other part wants the Republicans to just act like adults and pass the nomination unless there is some obvious shit in the closet with the nominee. It's 50/50 right now for me.
Oh no, someone had convinced him that legacy hunting is more important than finding a qualified liberal jurist. But when he's failed to get a nominee that fits all of his campaign promise boxes, he'll nominate someone qualified. But Manchin will side with McConnell and argue a Supreme Court nominee shouldn't be confirmed in an election year.
Bhaalizmo: No one comes to the PC anymore because everyone else is so toxic! But not me!

Are cloth masks still considered "good enough" for things like schools and whatever else? If so, why? Even your heroes at the CDC said they're useless. Meanwhile I still see people all over the place with cloth masks, bandanas, and other similarly useless things on their face. I don't see you complaining about people not wearing the right types of masks anywhere, only that they're wearing a mask period. Feel free to link some post(s) if I'm wrong about that.

Finding it ironic that shortly after the Supreme Court announced it'll be taking a new look at the affirmative action policies of a handful of large universities, that our President is reaffirming his commitment to using race as a qualifier for his pick for Justice Breyer's seat.
With the country more divided than ever and the political divide starkly showing racial disparities, now is the worst time to bring up a debate on racial discrimination, which is exactly what it is when you eliminate other qualified candidates on account of their ethnicity. Fuckin Joe.
https://apnews.com/article/voting-ri...7961b7bce4f36aQuote:
“I’ve made no decision except one: The person I will nominate will be somebody of extraordinary qualifications, character and integrity,” he said. “And that person will be the first Black woman ever nominated to the United States Supreme Court. It is long overdue.”
I'm not surprised, no, but damned frustrated. Whether it's a misguided thought to "heal the racial divide" or to help encourage black turnout, it's almost certainly going to bite him in the ass.
First and foremost, prioritizing one group over another just means there's a lot more people who were left behind. There's a great deal many more talking heads on the other side of the aisle who will with very littler effort, point out how hypocritical using as a qualification is. Go back a few decades when racial discrimination was much more common place and you'll see that the good ole boys club was practicing the same bigotry that the President is touting. Namely that on account of race, one candidate is more qualified or less deserving than another.
Secondly, the middle of the country damn near universally flocked to Trump for making them think they were left behind. Progress was labeled as white replacement, affordable care as death panels and gun control as making people vulnerable in the face of powerful, organized gangs. Those on the fence really need not need a reminder that some very vocal Democrats think that if you shove enough non-anglos in positions of authority will make the country a better place. It's a stupid policy that is divisive at best.
Lastly, for every voter who feels less marginalized due to the Supreme Court becoming more diverse, there's two who are going to be offended by the discriminatory policy and ten more who are wondering how losing the child tax credit will hurt their budget, or seeing their grocery bill going up as making it harder to feed their children as being far far more important.
/rant
Very few people are on the fence anymore. Joe has gone above and beyond to show what the Democrat party is and always has been about.
The only voters that will feel this way are voters that believe skin color decides how a person thinks.Quote:
for every voter who feels less marginalized due to the Supreme Court becoming more diverse
I don't care if a black woman, asian man, hispanic transgender is on the bench....
I care that by making such a statement, it only continues the philosophical concept that there are differences in people.... and I firmly believe the only way to get past that concept as the human race... is to forgo any metric of skin color with regards to looking at qualifications of people for a position...
I know will never happen... but it should be the standard and ideal. If someone chooses based on race (regardless of whatever race it is... white, black, or otherwise), then they should be shamed and told to move along.
But people will just keep "race" an issue while going back and making people suffer for the sins of the father and not changing course.
So fuck it... /shrug.
It would give him a great opportunity to get rid of Kamala Harris though..... She will stick with the other liberals.. so isn't that exactly what he wants on the bench anyway?
2 birds - 1 stone.
But they will be liberal opinions... and not much difference than we already get.
I'm thinking about it from Biden's viewpoint: She has absolutely done a terrible job as VP.. so much so that she could never run for President now... so why not put her "out" of politics and into a coveted spot where she won't do anymore harm to the liberal cause.. and get someone else to be the VP that could possibly run for President in 2024.
On abortion…
I am morally and religiously very much opposed to it.
Politically, as a libertarian, I want the government to stay out of legislating social issues as much as possible. Abortion in the terms of the definition of life in legal terms & women’s health autonomy is a complicated issue. I try not to force my own values upon everyone else. Just my 2 cents.
On gay marriage, I absolutely support the idea that any two people should be able to enter into a legal contract of marriage. Just as someone else mentioned, it should remain the right of any church or business to refuse service to gay marriage. Again…the less government can be involved in social issues like that the better in my opinion.
I mean lbgtq people deserve to me miserable like the rest of
Us married people right? I kid
It's easy to care about the unborn. They're not going to turn around and offer their own opinions on your advocacy. They're not going to hold you accountable for things you may be doing to make the situation worse. They will never tell you that you're wrong. They will never require you to change any of your own behaviors or interrogate any of your own beliefs.
I'd say that it's not exactly an accident that those ardent anti-choice folks magically cease to care the moment a fetus becomes a real person. Because worrying about the actual children would require a lot of behavior change and a pretty significant change in political beliefs.
This is such an odd argument that Democrats make.
Let's pretend for a single second that Republicans really don't care about children once they're born (it's an absolutely dumb ass argument to make, but let's say it's true). So?
I think people should have the right to smoke cigarettes and consume 20,000 calories a day, doesn't mean I should be financially responsible for their healthcare costs.
Be careful with this, there's logic involved:

I think your last sentence is very telling.
First, the irony of you implying that having to kick in a few dollars every year to support other people is an unreasonably onerous expectation, while also expecting women to go through 9 months of pregnancy (and the financial, psychological, and physical stress in that) against their will is not lost on me.
Second, "I care about children, but I'm not interested in having to contribute to their wellbeing in any way" isn't exactly the strongest use of the word "care" that I've encountered.
In this instance, "care" would refer to having at least the same level of passion for the well being of actual children and their mothers as one has for the fate of a fetus. For instance, refusing to vote for candidates who run on the idea of eliminating welfare/SNAP benefits (which almost entirely go to mothers and children), defunding public school systems, and actively blocking the creation of government-subsidized child care.
Y'all know that anti-choice terrorists have murdered nearly a dozen people since 1993 right? So either side you're on, you've debatably got blood on your hands.
And this is the single topic that's actually caused me to get emotional on here. It was because early last year Mrs. Flap had a miscarriage. Was it mine or the boyfriend's? We don't know, we'd find out when it popped out :)
It was somewhere between 2 and 3 months along. We hadn't bought a crib or anything, but we were all pretty excited about it. And devastated when the miscarriage happened. While in my head that fetus was our future son or daughter, that doesn't make it a person. There was a long way to go before it was a person.
I don't think I could ever go through with her having an abortion, though. If she wanted to, I'd try to talk her out of it, but ultimately it's her body that the potential-person would be growing in. I think the rights of an already-alive person should be held above the rights of a thing that has the potential to become a person.
Nearly 30 million humans have been murdered by the pro-death segregationists in that same time.Quote:

Why is it emotional if it's not a human being?Quote:

The only people that actually care about the non-existing boarder issues are conservatives. They can never have too few people to keep down.
Maybe I’ll get lucky and see the Hispanics hijack the conservative movement in my lifetime. Oh the irony.
Don’t you live in PA? Border must be a real issue for you.
Proposals from some very crazy leftists aren't too far off.
Some crazy leftists have proposed locking up the unvaccinated in their home and shutting them out of society, they just haven't (yet) taken the step of suggesting murdering them. But these things come in steps, it's not like one day the Nazis just started sending Jews to concentration camps, it started slowly by telling everyone the reason their life sucks is because of Jews (leftists have already done this), then gradually led to Jews being forced to identify themselves (leftists have implemented this in some parts of the world via vaccine passports), then Jews being shut out of society (leftists are currently attempting this in some parts of the world), then Jews being locked up, then Jews being murdered.
Open up a history book sometime.
