While yes that is true, the real underlying reason commies murder farmers first is because they represent the middle class. Middle class does not imitate the ruling rich nor do they rely upon the state for assistance like the poor. Such independence cannot be tolerated in a communist government. Marxism pretends to offer a classless society, but the extermination of the middle class is their true goal.
