I have a problem with putting the word "reputable" to most news outlets. In general I have a heavy mistrust of the media, and that includes conservative outlets as well.

Having said that, I haven't watched or read the news today and don't know what's being reported. But I would want to know the source of such reporting before even considering to accept what was being stated. Claims such as "informed sources", "officials who spoke on condition of anonymity", or other news outlets generally have zero credibility with me. Post an image or a short video clip in the original form, and then provide a translation, and we might be getting somewhere.

The largest obstacle in reaching an agreement with North Korea will be providing security assurances for Kim. The only way for North Korea to enjoy greater prosperity, which is what Trump is offering, is for the country to have greater contact with the outside world. Trump picked #2 and said all along, that we would wait and see. Well, so far, we got back some remains, Kim maybe played nice a little and we are waiting to see if anything else happens. What we were/are doing is not getting us the results we want and yet you want more of the same, why?

I suspect the answer is that you are simply so incensed that Trump won, that he says mean things and isn't a Socialist that you would rather send more Americans to fight and die on foreign shores rather than even try some talks.
