You were right and I was wrong! And thankfully so.

The first time I scheduled a COVID vaccine online it would not let me unless I checked off a co-morbidity. When I got there the declined it because my insurance didn't cover it at that particular pharmacy chain.

Then I found out where my insurance wanted me to go, made an appointment online, went at the appointment time and got my shot with zero out of pocket.

Tips for anyone doing it soon. If they refuse because you're too young just check off a comorbidity box. I got COVID, flu, and shingles together and it's got me laid out on the couch for a day. Be prepared to feel shitty and exhausted 24 hours after the shots.

If you don't have insurance check with your county, or state vaccination programs. Where I live they do free shots once a month for people with no insurance.
