Kennedy has long advocated stances against vaccines. Now that he is the top health official in the United States his anti-vax stance is now the official stance of the United States.

The children who died from measles this year were not vaccinated. Children don't get vaccinated if their parents don't let them. Parents who don't believe in vaccines don't let their kids get vaccinated. Parents don't believe in vaccines because they have been misled by people they trust who don't believe in vaccines. The top health care official in the United States, who is not even a doctor, does not believe in vaccines.

How do you know measles hasn't spread from unvaccinated people in the United States to Canada and Mexico and spread it there?
