New York changed the statute of limitations for civil lawsuits brought by abuse victims against sex offenders. That was not a change to the criminal statute of limitations, which would have been unconstitutional.

I guarantee you that if Congress attempted to change the statute of limitations on civil lawsuits for Epstein-related matters, Trump would veto the attempted change.
