It's looking more and more like division is just the way things are going to go for the next 10 20 30 years. States are going to redraw their electoral maps to consolidate power. I see a future where California breaks off from the rest of the nation and honestly I say go for it.

If we're going to divide this country between blue and red I am happy I am blue. I feel sorry for blues in red states and reds in blue states and everybody in purple states but if you guys want to divide up the country between red and blue states I am absolutely fine with that. It's not a good idea for you guys honestly. We may have less land but we've got the big ports, the financial market, the population centers, the technology, and plenty of agricultural to sustain ourselves. Red states would be fucked.
