Vance is an excellent debater, extremely intelligent, very likable in the sense that he started from poverty yet has accomplished more than most people can ever dream of. The only thing I will say looking at things objectively, while he doesn’t seem to possess Trump’s vice when it comes to extreme ego & other things, he also doesn’t have Trump’s charm and charisma. He can be a bit dry and to some come across as an asshole especially with women, mainly because he doesn’t take shit from partisan hacks posing as journalists & absolutely demolishes his opponents in a debate. Trump is afforded some grace on that aggressive bulldog personality because we all understand & accept that is Trump, but Vance will not have that same inherent advantage. That doesn’t matter much for how good of a President he could be, but it does for winning a general election.

I’d vote for Vance in a heartbeat, and honestly believe he can be an even more effective & successful President than Trump if he wins. I also have a hunch Vance has a higher moral standard than Trump.
Honestly, this isn't a high bar and yes, you are right. I imagine that Vance will learn to soften a little in the social sphere.
