About 13 individuals arrested that day or shortly afterward were found to have firearms either on their person or nearby (such as in vehicles).

Charged with firing a pistol into the air during the riot. Arrested in 2025 and held pending trial.
5. Lonnie Leroy Coffman (Alabama)
Found with firearms and components for molotov cocktails in his truck near the Capitol.
6. Samuel Fisher (New York)
Arrested post-riot; found with multiple firearms and ammunition. Sentenced to 3.5 years in prison on state weapons charges.
7. Taylor Taranto (Washington)
Charged with illegally carrying a firearm and possessing a large-capacity ammunition feeding device.
8. Guy Reffitt (Texas)
Carried a .40-caliber pistol during the riot. Convicted and sentenced to over seven years in prison.

Brought a .45-caliber revolver to the Capitol, which he lost during clashes with police.

You didn't provide a source but I'll just take your word for it.
Okay so 10 in total:
4 were arrested after the riot and were found with guns on their person/in their car/in their home after the riot
3 were arrested for carrying a gun onto Capitol grounds (not actually in the Capitol building)
1 fired a gun into the air during the riot, again presumably outside of Capitol grounds otherwise it would have been mentioned
1 carried a pistol during the riot, again probably outside of the Capitol grounds
1 actually brought a gun into the Capitol building

If I go ahead and just take your word for all of this and the word of the (most likely) extreme left leaning site you pulled this from, we almost lost our democracy that night because 6 people were armed with guns, 5 of which never made it to the Capitol building, and only one fired their weapon at all, and that was into the air.
