CNN — Department of Homeland Security Secretary Kristi Noem fell victim to a thief while eating dinner at a downtown Washington, DC, restaurant Sunday night, the secretary confirmed Monday.

Noem, who was asked about the theft at the White House Easter Egg Roll, acknowledged the incident and said the matter has not been resolved.

The Secret Service, which provides security for Noem, reviewed security camera footage at the Capital Burger restaurant and saw an unknown White male wearing a medical mask steal her bag and leave the restaurant, a law enforcement source said.

The thief got away with Noem’s driver’s license, medication, apartment keys, passport, DHS access badge, makeup bag, blank checks, and about $3,000 in cash.

I love what he has done with securing our border and removing illegal aliens, prioritizing the dangerous criminals. My only complaint with deportations is they need to deport more & faster, but I acknowledge it’s a challenge.

On foreign policy I’m very satisfied. I’d like to see the Ukraine war come to an end, but it’s obvious that the Trump administration is doing everything within their power to make that happen.

On the tariffs, I’m not so sure but I’m willing to give him some time and the benefit of the doubt. We do need to move away trade from China as it’s essential to our longterm national security & economic prosperity. On the rest of the countries…if it’s a short term strategy to renegotiate trade deals like it appears & Trump is successful, this will be a highlight of his presidency. If we find ourselves locked into lengthy trade wars (excluding China), our economy will suffer and it will be a stain on his legacy.

Last, we need to get that tax reform bill passed ASAP & Congress needs to get their act together.
