So let's use your example of facts being right or wrong in saying that objective truth is the same thing.

The objective truth about the insurrectionists who assaulted police officers and broke into the nation's capital to disrupt the counting of a free and fair election is indisputable if not only for the video evidence. We saw them do it. It's not debatable or subjective.

The special attorney's investigation outlines Trump's crime as conspiring to obstruct an official proceeding. This has not been settled in court however. If we were to say conclusively that it was objectively true or factual we would need to see it play out in court in front of a judge, jury, and God and all creation. In America at the peak of civilization this is the best way we have to determine objective truth that we can all agree on.

To me the evidence is clear, evidence that I watched with my own eyes, that it is a fact that Trump conspired to interfere with the peaceful transfer of power and used lies to support that even when he knew otherwise.

I have to disagree with you. There are not individual truths. There is only one. We don't get to pick and choose what is true and what isn't. You can believe what you want but if you choose not to believe the truth you're going to be on the outside of reality. This is a basic understanding mankind has had for centuries.

I just saw an interesting speech about this the other day. Except in the speech the man was speaking about morals. As a society we have, or had at one point, a shared structure of morals. We still do for the most part but right now there is a belief that individuals can pick and choose their morals. And while that's true the morals are still there whether people choose to view them or not.

He used a line from Abraham Lincoln that said if slavery is not wrong, nothing is wrong.

As a civilization, keyword civil, we have to understand that together we must support each other's rights, share a common moral structure, and share a common truth in order to be successful.

The truth about January 6th cannot be argued away by saying some people don't believe this or that. What we have found as a society is that Trump gathered these people together on the day of the certification of the election, riled them up with lies about a rigged election, and sent them to the capital to disrupt the peaceful transfer of power. Those who were caught on camera were given due process in a court of law before a judge, a jury of their peers, and God and found to be guilty of crimes such as assaulting police officers to name a few.

Ice cream being cold is subjective. If it melts in the summer sun before you eat it, you might say it’s not cold. Cold is also relative. As a Texan I consider temperatures in the 50s cold, where as an Alaskan may find that warm. We can scientifically verify the temperature of ice cream served and say it’s X degrees and therefore frozen. That is fact. See the difference?

What is fact is that Trump was never convicted of any crimes related to January 6th nor can you seem to articulate any tangible evidence that he committed a crime. Your feelings are clouding your judgement.
