IN A VICTORY FOR AUTOWORKERS, AUTO TARIFFS MARK THE BEGINNING OF THE END OF NAFTA AND THE “FREE TRADE” DISASTER
    https://uaw.org/tariffs-mark-beginni...r-autoworkers/

This afternoon, the Trump administration announced major tariffs on passenger cars and trucks entering the U.S. market, marking the beginning of the end of a thirty-plus year “free trade” disaster. This is a long-overdue shift away from a harmful economic framework that has devastated the working class and driven a race to the bottom across borders in the auto industry. It signals a return to policies that prioritize the workers who build this country—rather than the greed of ruthless corporations.

“We applaud the Trump administration for stepping up to end the free trade disaster that has devastated working class communities for decades. Ending the race to the bottom in the auto industry starts with fixing our broken trade deals, and the Trump administration has made history with today’s actions,” said UAW President Shawn Fain. “But ending the race to the bottom also means securing union rights for autoworkers everywhere with a strong National Labor Relations Board, a decent retirement with Social Security benefits protected, healthcare for all workers including through Medicare and Medicaid, and dignity on and off the job. The UAW and the working class in general couldn’t care less about party politics; working people expect leaders to work together to deliver results. The UAW has been clear: we will work with any politician, regardless of party, who is willing to reverse decades of working-class people going backwards in the most profitable times in our nation’s history. These tariffs are a major step in the right direction for autoworkers and blue-collar communities across the country, and it is now on the automakers, from the Big Three to Volkswagen and beyond, to bring back good union jobs to the U.S.”

So you think only the top 1% invest in things.

This is why you'll always be poor and retarded.

Sure, more jobs here is great. More production here is great. Not paying China for something they pay their own people $2.50 an hour to make is great. How we get there is where I think this administration has taken a gigantic leap of faith. Perhaps they know that when the Democrats come back in power they, along with the sane governments around the world, will fix things like they always do.
Might want to push your party to change their platform from things like "mEn CaN gEt PrEgNaNt!" to something with at least some amount of sanity then if you want them back in power anytime soon.

I'm getting ahead of myself here though. Let me back up a little bit.

Do you think men can get pregnant Back?

Exit polls show union people voted more for Harris than Trump by mid 50s to low 40s percentages.

NAFTA is another conversation. Your boy signed NAFTA. Not saying there were'nt/aren't dems who favor it, or that its not a good policy, just that it does not support your claim that democrats abandoned unions or that unions voted more for republicans.

Democrats have enjoyed a +20% advantage over Republicans with union voters going back decades.

Trump pulled that difference to 8%... a 12% decline for Democrats.

George HW Bush was never "my boy".. ever. He was better than the alternative.. but that's typically the case because Democrats are retarded.

Perot was spot on when talking about NAFTA.

Trump achieving low 40% of the union vote is not a flex. Democrats used to OWN the union vote. The UAW, Teamsters, and other big unions supporting a Republican president was unheard of for many decades until just recently.

You still don’t get why Trump won the election or why every state shifted red this last election cycle, do you?

Do you honestly think Back is going to be able to understand that?

It’s disappointing Seran didn’t return as a Gigachad like we hoped, but the PC retard war is about to get very interesting.

If anything union members abandoned the democratic party on the false promise of cheaper groceries and more jobs. We'll see how it plays out or if they got played.

I am fascinated by this equation. The Trump Administration published it to counter claims that the tariff rates for each country are simply half the trade deficit with that country divided by the imports from that country, which was the tariff solution recommended by Grok.

The equation is like if you took something simple and tried to make it look complicated. The audacity of multiplying 4 by 1/4th!
