You people always crack me up with this argument when it comes to NPR.

You openly mock state sponsored news when it comes to Russia, China, North Korea, and others, and for good reason I might add.

But when it comes to state sponsored news in Western nations such as the US, Canada, and UK, suddenly it's the best thing ever and even whispering about taking away government funding is somehow a threat on democracy and the free press.

Do you think majority white nations are better than other nations? Are you that much of a racist?

Whoa whoa haha. If jumping to conclusions was an Olympic sport you'd get a gold medal for that one!

The wonderful thing about public media in America is that it can criticize the administration. America wouldn't be America if it didn't. Guess what America would be like if all criticism of the government was suppressed?
