A 24-year-old man has been arrested for setting fire to a South Carolina Tesla charging station. Daniel Clarke-Pounder ended up setting himself on fire while carrying out the act of protest against Elon Musk.
Clarke-Pounder burned down three EV chargers in a South Carolina parking lot, according to the New York Post.
He even scrawled “f–k Trump” and “long live the Ukraine” at the parking lot.
Lucy Grace Nelson, the department alleged, was apprehended in Loveland, Colorado after trying to light Teslas on fire, and was later found to have materials for producing more incendiary weapons. A March 5 indictment charges Nelson with illegally possessing firearms and trying to commit arson against vehicles in interstate or foreign commerce.
A Salem, Oregon man was arraigned in federal court today for possessing Molotov cocktails while attempting to destroy property at a Salem car dealership.
Adam Matthew Lansky, 41, has been charged by criminal complaint with illegally possessing an unregistered destructive device.
